Oh wow! A Friday morning thread! Thanks Steve! Will call the others over!
Well Thank you Steve...and Helllooooo Lolly....and Good Morning and Best wishes for a Great Red Friday to all....ttfn xox
Hate to say good morning and then leave, but Jack just headed out to water and I really should go join him.Hello Margy! BBIALW
same here Lolly...hello and ta ta for now....be back later if the computer allows me to make another visit !xoxox
Good Friday Morning - I know all you working people are saying TGIF !Just received by word of FB that the Italy trip is on for the Germany Guys!I keep track of my grandkids via FB sometimes. I knew about the possibility of the Italy trip but now it is a reality. This is one place they wanted to visit before coming home to the states hopefully in December. am very happy for them.
I have been checking out FB and emails.Mostly everyone must be out and about this morning before the heat out there is turned on.I am headed for street clothes but have no intention of hitting the streetsBBILW
************************A VERY GOOD FRIDAYMORNING TO YOUALL ...************************It looks like So Cal and Sheptown are 'enjoying' the same sort of weather now, except we are at least 5° cooler.C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Good afternoon.Thank you Steve. Have a great weekend.Hi Jo. How nice the Italy trip for family will be a reality. Sure hope they all enjoy and then everyone can enjoy being "home" again.Hi Jim. Hi Lolly. Hi Margy.
Morning all.Wanda, nice to hear about your granndaughters' endeavors! Good luck to her.As I said the other day...I suspect that what is planned for the cam is a technical issue in the braodcast end of things. I don't believe that HD has anything to do the cam itself. But, no, don't see or hear any difference so far.
FYI - Randy at NCTC saw an adult above the nest yesterday.
Jo, really glad that the kids will get to make that trip! It's just a shame that they can't get home and settled before school starts.....what grade is Sam in? 2nd?
Hey, Jim....supposed to go up to around 90° again here. Some areas were super-foggy again this AM---like where Shirley's school is!
Oh, good that Randy had a sighting!
Happy Birthday Steve!!
Best wishes for Jillian and her decision! Sometimes it takes a while before a young person knows exactly what it is they are meant to do in life
The best kept secret of today isour not knowing it was Steve's b-day!♪♪♪♫♪♪Happy birthday Steve - have avery special day and also a great yearahead ♪♪♪♫♪♪
You Rock Randy - you are a very goodspotter for us!
Ah, we have a Secretive Steve. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FAVORITE GUY NAMED STEVE.You're so right Jo. It only took me 38 years. Jillian's way ahead of the game.Off to watch a trial. Going to tape 20/20 tonight. Serial killer. Might be able to add to course this semester. This guy was especially vicious and his family, daughter, had no clue. He was a long-haul trucker.Wonder which one of our eagles Randy saw? Either one is still nice.
What? Steve's birthday? Wow!Happy Birthday Steve! Have a wonderful day!
Just had a last Hawkwood outing. We went to the bookstore and picked out books. Now baking brownies and doing laundry. Next pack and head to Denton.
Only sweets I fed the boys this week was ice cream. Think I did pretty good! So, we are ending it with brownies! Uh oh!Jacob loves to eat blueberries and raspberries for snacks and Joseph LOVES pop corn.
You and Jack are such good grandparents for those boys Lolly..it has been fun reading the daily reports ☺
and wow, Happy Birthday Steve !! Hope you took the day off, or at least will start your week-end early.... best wishes for a great day, and stellar year to follow
Hi,Happy birthday, Steve! I'm having lunch at my desk.I was hungry, so I hit Burger King for a meal full of calories.Trying to figure out what I want to do about insurance coverage. I have a choice between an HMO that at least one of my doctors doesn't participate in and Medicare Plan B. Not really happy about that, but it is what it is.
JoHappy News about the vacation to Italy for the Germany Gang...December will be here before we know it !Best wishes for a good day everyone...going to catch up on some long-lost reading and I'm sure that's going to lead to a napxoxox
happy lunchbreaking it Shirley...hope you can find some good clues to help you make your insurance decision...and TGIF !!
We have had lots of fun. Wish I had worked more on manners this week. I am afraid they take too much for granted.
just remember Lolly....they have surely observed your mannerly ways and kids have a way of copying and imitating those kinds of things....xoxo ♥ (( Hugs ))See you in October ☺ ttfn xoxo
I think it is wonderful they are going to Italy. Jack and I have been there two times and we plan to go there again to celebrate our 50th in five years. Last time we were there we were there for two weeks and had an apartment on a farm.
I'm dying to see an eagle !
Yea.....October, and it will be here before we know it!
Oh, I did get up to see ISS this morning at 0555 nice to see our zippy little pal again
sure will Lolly, so you might as well drop a few more clues...☺okay, sorry the camp week is ending for the boys, best wishes for the close-out ceremonies !Catch you folks a little later onxoxo
Jack is thinking of some clues. Here is one....it is small enough to ride on the back seat of our SUV for 5 weeks as we travel New England.
Jacob wants to feed the fish...I am off!BBL
LOL, Lolly....that could be pretty big!!
Bai and Diego rasselin on cam right now.C(°ٿ°)D Jim
3 members of the family on BWO now. I think, not sure, the one in the middle is Mom.C(°ٿ°)D Jim
I haven't seen anything, but I guess you know the live feed is working again today.C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Live feed is working like a charm here...such lovely breezy soundssounds almost like the ocean waves rolling in (or, maybe a little static also)Good Afternoon Eagle ♀'s and ♂'s

love the dancing shadows at the Royal Nest
whatever I managed to do with my computer has rekindled my affection for it....I still can't do a whole lot of aggressive things, still avoiding some links and sites, but at least I can function, and I have NCTC sites so life is goodHeaded out for awhile, need to feel the fresh air, however hot, and feel the earth move under my feet !!xoxo Enjoy your evenings...please, if you can...☺ ♥
wow BWO is an Osprey Pile ~~
I'm down to a cup or two of coffee/caffeine a day these days....can you tell, I am on my first cup !! okay, ttfn
Hi, Everyone!Well, I have worn myself out! Just got in from watering all patio plants, deadheading flowers, and putting out birdseed. It's probably about 85 out there, but it's HUMID--there's the problem. Now I really need a shower, but need to find some light lunch first, with a nice cool drink!Would you believe I slept in until 10am after getting Hubby off to work?! Let him take the car with the working A/C--it's a lot hotter where he works, and no shade to park in, so car's frying when it's time to come home. If this keeps up, we may have to budget for an A/C fix for the other car. Sure hope it's a cold winter out here! Wouldn't wish that for you guys farther east, though. Might have to use the dreaded "S-word"! LOL :oD
Yippee!! Life is good--my live feed is working again! Off to find a tall, cold drink, and some late lunch...
well get yourself a good rest Andy...then do something (else)that you enjoy !Hope the A/C situation works out okay....hard to remember the times years ago when A/C was not very common....xo
Lolly I'm sure you are headed to Denton but the 2 FB pics of the boys asleep in the car riding with you - they are the faces of contentment and innocence. It sure was a fun week for them at Camp Hawkwood! And I think you and Jack enjoyed it also.
I was thinking about that last week, Margy......as kids, it didn't seem to matter, but wonder how our parents and grandparents, etc. stood it. Acclimatization is the key....so we are just spoiled!!Andy, you hinted at the S word-----"no,no, no mo' S"!!!
LOL.....I wanted to reply to Lolly's pics....but no comment section: she plum wore those boys out!!!!
Osprey live cam Millford CT
That is one "l" in Milford......The one chick in the nest is practicingthe Wingexercies.........
What goes around comes around.....Bear Mauls Keeper
I don't know what I just saw crawling up the limb of our tree----either a fly or Boris.......hoping it was a fly.
Jo now an osprey at CT with a fishWonder if their Mom is still there?Back out to finish mowing...about half the lawn needs it, so doing front tonight and back tomorrow night.
I think it was a fly, Lynn.
Wonder where Lynne2 is?
Not sure, Paula as to where Lynne is I don't think I have caught her on FBI'll have to check.Lynn - That is a sad affair about the bear and it's keeper. I often worry about Dr Rogers and Susan out in the wild!
Headed in for a 2 hr TV show 8-10BBL
You just never know with wild animals...
Bill the bald eagle has flown off Looking for Bill
They have a rough time keeping eagles captive over there! If they find him, wonder if he will come to them? Oh, no Eagle Bill!Lynne is okay----had email yesterday. She "worked" 9.5 hrs. at Irvine Weds., and has a lot of work yet to do at that neighbors' place.
Another thing about the Bear Center....seems like the BBC crew is always at the right place at the right time for photo ops....wonder if they are out wandering/tracking on their own, or if they are always with Lynn or Sue....and if so, how many hours a day do they spend trekking through the forest??
Good TGIF Evening to Everyone &HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEVE!!!Was real busy today at exhibit shop~~saw a couple green herons and before leaving saw Ms. Hoppy deer and her twins. I thought she only had one fawn, but we've seen 2with her. She's amazing w/only 3 good legs. Since there are usually other youngsters w/her, a coworker says that she's the babysitter!
Read Paula's link about "Mr. Bill Leaves Park." Why not? He's 6 and probably looking for a lass!Think I'll send it to Chrissy~~~☺
BLT's being made at Magpie's Roost. All are welcome.Butterflies aplenty on the New York Ironweed this evening, Tigers, Healthy Spicebushes...truly spectacular!xo Hi Evening Eagle Pals...
Friendly middle-aged man with a long white beard and four pre-teen girls who were calling him Dad having a great time in the creek at Swinging Bridge...he had his tripod IN the water, with Video Camera and/or camera a'rollin'!Did not see much in the bird department but the Cardinal Flowers are still out...time to turn the bacon
Back for TV break - I do have another show coming up at 10.ON Wednesday a remark by Lynne on FB is a riot! About her making a meatloaf in the morning and opening the oven door when Steve got home to discover she had not put the meatloaf in the oven. I really cracked up reading all the remarks! BBL
Very interesting Lily Report concerning hunting and respecting the bears.
Watching the 20/20 show Judie mentioned....
Decided I didn't like the show - a type of violence that I find upsetting. Going to address some cards.....
Interesting remarks from Dr Rogers..Concerns the link from Hedgie at 7:17The most recent was about a captive bear killing its keeper in Ohio. We trust wild bears far more than captive ones that can develop psychoses from captivity. Wild bears can always retreat if they feel threatened or uncomfortable, but captive bears have no escape.
Ravens/Redskins game tomorrow night
Now that's a rivalry we ALL can enjoy: battle of the beltways!!I will stay off the blog just for you Marylanders!!!Jo, how 'bout that info from Lynn?? BUT I still don't know about the BBC crew! Wonder how long they've been here...and how long they are allowed to stay, OR if they are Americans working for the BBC!
Eyes are trying to close---something about those loungechairs! Watching 20/20 also & hope I can see it all.Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
That was SO funny about Lynne and the meatloaf! I've never done that, but I have forgotten to turn the oven on!Margy, with those teenagers in the water, there was probably too much splashing and squealing for the birds to stick around!!!
Loretta, WAKE UP! Don't miss the verdict!!
Hedgie What am I missing? You are referring to Dr Lynn Rogers and the BBC crew.... but I reread the article &you lost me....... Help!
Jo, they posted a pic last night that the BBC crew took of Hope.
I read Lynne's post about the meatloaf, too. I have forgetten to turn on the oven as well!
Thanks Paula about the BBC crewI really got a good laugh readingLynne's account of her dinner. Yes, it is because I have done quite a fewstoopid things along the way.How did you remember it was Steve's birthday & glad that you did so he got all our wishes.....
Gianni is going to be a year old before you know it! John and Ajay have given you some special grandkids. Donavon will be 2 this March... he is a very adorable little guy - he has the looks of being a little tease...
Jo, what Dr Rogers said makes perfect sense.
JO, I saw Steve's BD on FB
So sleepy, I can't keep my eyes open. My keyboard is about to deploy it's air bag!GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDSSLEEP WELLPRAYERS FOR ALL.
Does he have a page on FB?
Goodnight, Wanda!!Jo, I just think it must be very special to be on that camera crew, and wonder if the BBC is planning another "Walking with the Bears" program.....and why an American network doesn't do it.
Yes, Jo, just look for him under my friends list and send him a friend request.
Well I give - Paula out of your 700+friends there isn't any S.Chase.....Thanks anyhowWanda - Hold your head up !!!
I am also starting to have very heaveeyelids........ Going back the hallwayGood Night EveryonePrayers for EveryoneHugs for Everyone ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Gorgeous Hooded Crow at Finlandif it makes through the refresh
it did and it's still there
actually Lynn...I think all the kids at the creek were between 6 and 11...they had the place all to themselves....them and their Dad, but I do agree, the birds would have been more quietsaw a couple of Red-bellied's - was listening for the Cuckoos...but I didn't hear them
Jo, sent you his information, should be under "suggested friends" request
Packing it in for tonight...work tomorrow.See ya'll tomorrow!Hugs to all ♥
Hi all! We are home. We are boyless. Now how sad is that?Went to Meet the Teacher night. Liked Josephs teacher. She was relaxed and happy. Greeting the students with a hand shake. Jacob has the same lady Joseph had. I will not say anything more. Grrrr! Funny....I started talking to a couple of students, introduced Jacob, helped put up supplies and I was mistaken for the teacher. lol She lacks personality for working with children!!! Oh, well, it is only one year!
Hey there Pillow People....Nighty Night...Hope this is a good sleepful night before a good Saturday... God Bless Us, Every One xoxo ♥
Saw your comment Lynn. Guess you can not comment on mobile uploads on fb. Yep, we exhausted the boys.Laurel commented on that as well. Told her...we did good for a couple of old grandparents.
Lynn, just discovered you can make a comments on pictures like I posted by clicking on the pictures and then the place for comments is below each picture.
Okay, I am now headed away to get ready for bed. Up early in the morning to mow. We did not want to mow while we had the boys.Nite all! Sweet dreams!
I'm late, I'm late for a very important date.♪♫♫♪♫ HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE and congrats on your new position. And a happy, happy birthday to Candy; belated too.Having 'puter troubles again and think our visitors may have made some things go wrong. They have "apples." We have PCs. Anyway it seems to be okay for the moment, but I'm now ready for bed.The remote on my recliner is taking fits and sometimes I have to crawl out of it because the remote won't work. I called the store's service dept and they will check with Lazy Boy for a cost and let me know. Geez, if not one thing,it's another. Wish I could go back to using a bed. Tried it again with company coming but got up with such a terrible back ache it wasn't worth it. We have to make a decision on the new furnace SOON and let the oil company know we want to lock in a price for home heating fuel. So many decisions...........Prayers going up for all needs/wants and thanks for those answered.God bless
Hi, Everyone!Getting here a bit late tonight--Hubby and I have been catching up on some programs we had recorded.Gosh, what awful manners I have! I didn't wish Steve a Happy Birthday earlier! So...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEVE!!! Hope it was a really special day for you!!It's feeling cooler tonight. Hear it's supposed to get pretty hot next week, though--up into the 90s. Yuck. We're watching the bulldogs for my Sis-in-law and Bro-in-law starting tomorrow. They're goin' fishing in Colorado. We went and got fast food so we wouldn't have to heat up the kitchen tonight. Gosh, I hope Calif. has a cooler than usual winter! I really don't do well when it's hot & humid. Need to go take another shower and wash my hair. Feel absolutely sticky!Hope there are some good movies playing this weekend--we'll have to hang out where it's air conditioned!I think the temp was about 88 today, but the humidity was high, making it feel worse.Good news--my sore/raspy throat is gone completely! (Ask me if I miss it!)Well, going to go shower and clean up my act. We have to go to Wal-Mart tomorrow morning--the earlier, the better. Have said prayers for everyone. Saying a special prayer for Bill the eagle. Hope he is found! Leaving the night light on, and the porch light on for others. The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are both enabled. Hope everyone sleeps really soundly, and wakes up bright eyed and bushy tailed! God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o]
Sorry, dozed off during the news. Guess that's a sign! Goodnight my fine, fowl friends. Prayers for all. "See" you in the morning!
GOOD MORNING SLEEPYHEADS:)We have a sunny morning here in Shepherdstown/Martinsburg (Nestville) with temps of 66°, going up to 90°. The birds are singing their hearts out...guess they are enjoying the cool temps.
What...still in bed? Oh, that's right, this is Saturday...sleep on!!40 year old fridge finally died yesterday. Haven't been able to decide what color to get...guess I'll have to take what's available now...don't have time to be picky. We put frozen food in downstairs freezer and perishables in bar fridge, so if delivery can't be made til first of the week, we should be ok.On top of that disaster, my hairdryer blew up in the middle of drying my hair (Bonnet type dryer).Had to go to Family Dinner with slightly wet curls. Didn't have time to cook, so we picked up some subway subs and Gene made a cherry cobbler. Evening turned out better than the DAY:)Posted a few photos on Just for Fun.Have a great weekend♥
Good morning,Bear mauling story is on CBS this morning. The bear is a grizzly. Tragic.
Good Morning from this roost also...Hi Shirley and WandaGreat pictures Wanda...Hope the rest of the school day went well Shirley..Hello Eagle ♀'s and ♂'shello and ta ta that isHope it is a great day..have to run some errands in townxoxo
wow, that was a string of calamaties Wanda....when it rains it pours??
Margy, don't know where in town you need to go , but it's mostly shut down to traffic.....so be prepared to hike!!!! The Bike thingy is today! If you see Erik Estrada, click a pic! Please and thanks.Wanda, what a miserable day you had.....and it was a week late for Fr. 13th! LOL---didn't know they still made bobbet hairdryers----unless you mean the chair kind like at a salon.
Fat fingers! Make that BONNET!!!! Duh.
Good Morning - I'm not too late.Have had coffee and read newspaper and checked out emails. Now that I am here I can relax and read what is going on today.Sorry about all your mishaps Wanda.. Hope you the color frig is right there for you! Just don't get the one that would make you want to redecorate your whole kitchen....... I love Jayden and Karla's pictures! I think that Jayden and Gianni would get along really well.
I bet most of you are out shopping or working outside!I am headed for street clothes and then lunchBBILW
Hi,I went to the farmers' market this morning. Someone had a cute little beagle there. He was admiring the different kinds of breads and almost got himself a loaf. He reached out and took a little nip at the bag. I had to laugh. Kathryn's bassets are champion bread thieves, especially Luna.I bought some flowers I am trying to identify. I'll put a picture on my blog in a few minutes. The guy I bought them from did not know. They are really different.
Enjoy your lunch, Jo.
What a day, Wanda! I hope you find the refrigerator you want.
I've posted the strange flowers on my blog and on Facebook. Please help me identify them.
WhooHoo---ChooChoo.....the Train gang (Sharon, Thelma and Justin) will be spending Monday night in Charles Town after the concert at Wolf Trap! Breakfast Tues. morning at Charles Town I-HOP......time to be determined. Anyone else want to come???
Flower (actually a seed pod) identified, thanks to Megan (on Facebook). From the milkweed family, asclepias, (Gomphocarpus physocarpus) Johnny's seed sells it, it's named Oscar. Plain white flowers followed by those seed pods.
Shirley, I haven't the foggiest idea! Email Megan---she will know for sure!
A day late and a dollar short!! Glad she saw it on FB!
And Lynne and Wanda, too!!!
************************GOOD MORNING tO aLL fRIENDSoF Our AmericaNEagLE.***********************Hot and humid here in So Cal today too.C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Hi, Jim. Wind has picked up here, so humidity seems to be not too bad......no storm predicted, but could sneak in with all this sun. Mom said they had a violent storm in St. Louis area last night.
Good afternoon! Jack and I headed out early to work in the yard. I worked all morning and now I am recuperating. It is 98 and drying up again. The benefit of Wed. rain is long gone!Talked with Laurel. Had to check on MY boys. ☺ Jacob had t-ball practice and did very well.I apparently got a spider bite on the back of my neck yesterday. It made a huge lump and itched. Today it has made a couple of lymph glands sore. Lovely just lovely!Need to go clean up and then I am doing nothing for the rest of the day. Oh, I might was sheets but that is all!
Have Jack watch your bite closely....any bulls eye redness around it, get to ER.....might h ave been a brown recluse!
I don't think I rise early enough to get over to I-Hops to see the crew.I just lallygagged all afternoon. Now I am going to get myself ready for Mass. We have our new Priest for the first time today. He has been assignedto our church.
Sure has clouded over here. Rain, please???Jo, it might be a late breakfast----won't know til Mon. night! Depends on when they get settled in.
Oh no...I was on my way to meet Lynn and Sharon's entourage at IHOP, but, Tuesday is Soup Kitchen Day:( Sharon could stay over one more day and have a free meal with us! I would have loved that...IHOP has the best Steak Omelette!!Just before we went out the door this morning to search for a Fridge, the big A/C in the kitchen blew up or, I guess you could say it died:( Now, we need to take a trip to Minnesota to bury a fridge, hair dryer and an A/C.At Lowes, we found a Fridge with an ice dispenser in the door and a small dent on the side of it. They took $350 off because of that. I can put an eagle magnet there to cover up:) Also, found a gas range and new flooring...all in less than an hour! No A/C...seems all stores that we went to have sold out. I guess because of the hot Summer that we have had. Traveled to Charles Town (where the IHOP is) to Home Depot, same story there. Will keep trying tomorrow afternoon. Stove and fridge and rug is being delivered tomorrow morning.I think Lynn is right, they must not make the Bonnet Dryers anymore. There is a Beauty Supply store here in town...will try them later. Too much to do. Need to empty some movable cupboards and cut the end off of one counter top because it is taking up 2inches that we need for the Fridge. And poor Capt. Gene has opted to lay the flooring himself because they wanted more than the cost of the flooring to lay it!!I'm just grateful we were able to find a Fridge and have it delivered so soon...we'll deal with the rest of it as we come to it!
Wow, Wanda! You have done very well. I hope you have AC in other parts of the house.
Yes, we do have others, Shirley:)Just need the kitchen one when we have to use the oven.
Wow! You are having a kitchen make over, Wanda! I love my refrig with water and ice in the door, especially when the boys are here. They can help themselves to water and crushed ice without opening the door. Jacob is really bad about standing there with the door wide open.
Wanda, this is and isn't your lucky streak....:( and :) Too bad about the A/C. Did you try Sears? Hey, breakfast Tues. AM gives you plenty of time to get to soup kitchen, kiddo!!!
Let me know the time, when you find out.
Hi all eagle friends. Now I get to catch up again on comments.Haven't been on till now. Wasn't feeling very well.
Nice Mema Jo glad they are going to get that trip to Italy. Yes water water water....seems like all we do. Can't use hose we have to use the garden cans. Fill it and Load it trying not to make too many trips.I just got finished watching something on tv. Don't usually have on at that hour. It was showing Berkeley PGA Tour. The funds and what all they do. WOW WOW I was surprised and truly in pressed. Building a house for a soldier to get around in a new home. Helping kids and adults with Downs Syndrome...painting, music, etc.One blind girl it showed that they help the red cross in an area (can't remember the area). The red cross types the text books in brill and the student is in regular school and doing exceptional. I had never heard about this helping and sharing. Also the wives of the PGA Tour men. Well it showed them filling a backpack with FOOD. It is for when the child "leaves school for the weekend-so they have food to it until they return back to school". Humbling truly humbling. How they give back. I did know that they helped with Katrina, but they also helped with fires in Australia. They give to different hospitals for children that can NOT afford the care.
Randy spotted an adult yeah !!!So it is Steve's Birthday Glad we have a spy in our group lolHAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE You thought you could sneak by this group huh??? LOL
Nice about the feeding Jim tys1st time that 3 hummers stayed at the feeder - all 3 feeding at same time. Maybe they know a storm or something is coming ???
Yes he once used some of the bears for wrestling with humans. He had to stop that due to it was Animal ABUSE.The guy that was killed. Was an experienced helper with this bear he loved. SAD! Not sure if they will put the bear down.
Didn't find any pics of late of the boys on Blog maybe on facebook. So many places to go....
Okay, Wanda....will let you know Monday night! I would offer to drive but I will be going to Christie's after breakfast and then to courthouse for the hearing for the puppy mill jerk.Speaking of jerks....the idiot next door cut down at least 5 more trees today. Grrrrr.
So Bill is on the loose. They could have did the poor "eagle" a nicer legacy than to say named after Clinton LOLHope the public help finds him so he can be fed. Be neat if he was seen catching his own food.
Loretta Chrissy will love that..she will probably try to get people looking for Bill. Yep 6 yrs old God put into him now is the time to find a mate and have your own nest..So GLAD Lynne is ok...
Dainn prayers for all your decisions.Oh my what type of bed Diann?Yes sometimes when I let family use my other computer. They must have changed some setting because it sure wasn't the computer I let them use lol
Ballgame time. GO REDSKINS!!!!Go Ravens. I won't say anything else until it's over!! TTFN.
Hedgie what puppy mill jerk????????Wanda you got a new kitchen lolEggs Eggs Salmonella Iran Iran and their nuke these are the two subjects all over the tv
Lowreeda will always with that resturant "ride again" LOL
Oh yes I forgot the tv BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS all over the tv too.
Hedgie I like Key Lime Pie too. I got the Edward's it only has two pieces. Ate one last week still have the other piece.Paula that is exactly what I did with the pies when Ed was still here. Loved doing that. That way you always had a dessert on hand.Wanda that is great for Jillian. I hope she found her calling.
Just got in from mowing and saw Lynn's post about the Skins...GO SKINS!!
Well Wanda - what color is the frig? Ithought that was going to be the incentive for the new kitchen but doesn't sound like it even entered the decision. ((hugs)) Bet you like the ice maker! Went to Mass and met new Priest - Fr Rob. First impression is that I really like him!Ate dinner down at Bob Evans and at 8:00 hubby is putting on the taped TV show. I thought I best get in here andsee what was going on.Hedgie - I'll just wait to hear Mon night what time the I-Hop gang is going to be there.
Filling up my pill cases...... BBL
Catching up on the blog, just got treated to an eagle call! Adult :)
And another call
Wish I could make the breakfast, I love IHOP :)My brother and I would stop sometimes on Sunday and eat at IHOP when we were visiting Mom in the nursing home.
Gotta feed the dogs and then go water.
Someone emailed me and said Belle paid a brief visit just before 7pm tonight...so that was probably her that I heard.
Jo, you are exactly right...the color of the Fridge didn't even enter the decision (except WHITE...NOT IN MY KITCHEN, it is too big for white). The Fridge that was on that great sale is Stainless Steel. Stove is SS/black. I truly wanted Almond, but was not available today. I am afraid of the smears that go along with SS. We have SS in the church kitchen and it does get messy. I have so much more to do in my life, than clean a fridge and stove, at this time. I would have liked one of those with "textured finish: shows nothing, much." I'll try to kept it looking good:)
Seems as though Belle keeps stopping by checking out the nest. Halftime...Score: Redskins 3 Ravens 13Wondering if Mits, a Raven's fan, and her son Kevin, a Redskins fan, are at the game?
Wanda the two new appliances sound very pretty! It won't be until Jayden starts walking and touching everything that you will need to worry about fingerprints over the door!
Halftime. Ravens 13 Skins 3.Dana, the court hearing is for Woods, the guy they took the 94 dogs from, AND health department condemned the trailer where he lived and had them.
Cool that Belle made at least an audible visit!
Friend sent pics of Belle's visit, put them on the Yahoo group!
Wanda, sounds like you did great shopping today...hope you can find an AC...maybe Walmart? Kmart?
Glad you like the new priest, Jo.Paula, saw your 6th grade pic on FB---cute!!
Lynn, another friend and I were laughing at the clothes!
Thanks Paula for the new pics in the album - be sure your friend knows how much I loved them!
Another one for those Ravens........
Spidey's web is blowing in the breeze!
Today's update on Lily & Hope
Ravens got another 3 pt field goal23 - 3 4th qtr
Friends of Blackwater NWR We just posted the final entry in our 2010 Osprey Cam Web Log. This post contains 4 new videos showing our chicks in flight
Good Evening Everyone.Oh No, Lynn, Skins are behind! It's their fault we didn't go to local car meet---Mall where it's held is very close to stadium. We could have gone to Baltimore or Prince Frederick, but those seemed a little far at the end of the day.So, Fubby switched back to Bristol Nascar Race & then went to bed!Read of Wanda's appliance demise & Diann's chair & furnace. Soon we'll have our own junkyard.Love your dinner pics, Wanda. Was planning to really clean house today, as company is coming tomorrow, but played w/pictures, etc. instead!!Guess I get up early & vacuum.Gotta check the sports...
Congrats to the Ravens and their fans. :(We actually had 23 drops of rain before it got dark. Big hairy deal!
Wanda, you have mail!
I have a crazy question. Where does someone new find this blog. I have looked and can not find it. Am I crazy? Yes, I know I am, but help me, please.
Never mind! I finally found it. Duh!
I was having trouble getting here with my iphone. Finally have it figured out. Slow but sure!
Hi all, I miss you! we've been SOOOOO busy with so much the last few days. I had quite an unexpected guest in my kitchen today, I'll post on my blog tomorrow about it with pictures.I've not had much of a chance to read back, but I hope everyone is doing well. More yardwork tomorrow, weather permitting, and then off to Irvine so Steve and I can help Tracey for a couple of hours.Prayers for you all....hope to be back blogging soon!
Bet you are ready to fall into bed, Lynne!! Slow down, girl!
Well, dear friends, I am saying my goodnights now. Gonna catch the news and take my bath and hit the pillows. See all y'all in the morning. Peace and prayers.
Watching the Boys game and playing with my iphone. The "test" was posted from my cell phone. It is a pain, but something I can do.
Following all those who are headed to the pillows - Hi Lynne - Keeping busy doing what your doing - sounds like funGood Night everyonePrayers for everyone - How about that little soldier Kailey!Hugs for all ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Heading to the shower. Church in the morning and then another lazy day. Miss my boys!Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Thank goodness this day has come to an end and I can go to bed and get some sleep:) Seems like a 48 hour day, but it was productive.Lynn put a bug in my ear about the possibility of ordering an A/C on the internet and having it delivered to the corresponding store to avoid shipping charges.GOOD IDEA LYNN!GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDSSWEET DREAMSPRAYERS FOR ALL
Hi, Everyone!Getting here very late, for sure! We spent the afternoon and early evening at my Sis-in-law's and Bro-in-law's house. She had a pork roast there that she wanted us to make and take home with us. She had thawed it out already, but had made pork chops earlier this week. It needed to be baked and eaten, before it spoiled. We sliced some Braeburn apples and added to it, and put some white wine (about an inch and a half) in with it. It turned out SO good! Added some chicken broth to the juice and made gravy. You can also slice in some sweet onions and add bacon slices. REALLY good! Flavor was amazing!Wanda, so glad that you found a 'fridge and a stove! Boy, I could use a kitchen makeover too. We have a fairly new refrigerator, and a dishwasher a few years old that match the wall oven. Now we need a new cooktop and new countertops. Also need to redo the fronts of the cupboards. Won't be able to do it for a while, but we can start a list! Hope you are able to find a new A/C tomorrow!Well, fading fast, so think I'll say goodnight. Prayers have been said for everyone. The night light and the porch light are on. The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are both enabled. Sleep well, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love each and every one of you! :o]
Good morning!Went out to eat with Kathryn, Hunter, and Kathryn's across-the- street neighbor lady. We went to Firebirds. It was excellent. Also found some nice little shops nearby.Tom was at a Kiss concert at Nissan Pavilion. Kathryn actually asked if I know who Kiss is. Yes, I do know that much! She said she figured I did since they've been around awhile. That they have. Kathryn had decided not to go to the concert since she hadn't felt too well this past week, but she was up to an early night out.
GOOD MORNING...Another pretty morning here in Nestville. 72°, going up to 86°.The sun is shining on a wet garden and lawn...we had R-A-I-N last night! Now that the days are not so scorching hot and the nights are pleasant, garden plants and flowers are looking good:)Well, Redskin fans, it was an ugly game, wasn't it? We need to weed out a few players. I would have weeded them ALL out, last night! There was some really bad officiating, but that isn't why we lost. I despise bad calls...it's just not fair to the players. When a play is shown over and over again and it is obvious that the ref. is mistaken, can't do anything about it, unless the coach throws that RED flag...HEY COACH, THROW THAT RED FLAG!!Pre-season is no different, to me, than the rest of the season. You are either good or not. OK, Skins, we'll let you have one loss:)Shirley, what kind of restaurant is Firebirds? Is it a chain? Good that Hunter gets to go places with his Grandma...he will grow up remembering these times:)I was just reading Andrea's account of cooking a Pork Roast. That sounds really good...apples, onions, bacon, wine and a savory gravy. That will be on the menu next Family Friday! Sounds easy, too. THANKS YOU ANDREA♥Lowes will be here between 12pm and 2pm. I need to check out the cleanliness of the stove and fridge. Can't have movers telling people that the "costume lady" down on Gosling Marsh Rd. had dried gravy and such running down the sides of her stove or that the fridge was full of fingerprints;)Have a blessed Sunday♥
Good Sunday morning.I see we have some trees in the nest! Suspect they are just dropped leaves/twigs cause don't think they could have sprouted and leafed that fast! LOL.Was greeted by my hard-shelled friend this morning when I let the dog out. She's a picky gal---apparently doesn't like lettuce. But she came crawling to me the minute I called out "Myrtle!"
Wanda, you are exactly right about the game!! Don't know when the roster cut happens, but think there will be some on that list after last night that probably weren't on it before the game! Guess that's the whole purpose of preseason.Yep, Andy's roast sounds delicioso. Wish I had one in the freezer for today! Bet I could do the same thing with boneless country-style ribs, tho', and think I do have them.Remember when I replaced my fridge a few years ago....Bill laughed at me for cleaning it before Lowe's got here!!
Yes, we had about 123 drops of rain last night here.......supposed to get more today....we shall see!
Just call me a city slicker now. We finally got moved into our new home in Huntsville, AL. Things are still a mess with boxes all over but we are getting there. I'll post some pics once we get situated. Maybe I can get back to nature soon. Sure will miss the old place though.
Morning, all!Check out the fresh greens in the nest.
Hi Red, glad you got moved OK.
Things are wet here too, don't think it was much rain, the streets are already drying.
Split is coming!
