Speaking of reading, here's the link to this week's Catalina Report.
We are getting rain in So Cal. It's been a steady, if moderate, downpour for a couple of hours at least... I was Panda napping for part of it, so I'm not exactly sure how long.
Keep the eyes peeled ... maybe I shouldn't say that. If she does lay a third egg ... which she's done for the last three years .. it will still be there in the morning. And we will be better able to appreciate it with some sleep.

No pop corn or choc pudding here. Having a ginless G&T.
Lynn, it records what is streaming on your desktop, either on WMP or Real player, or in your browser, like ours is.
You also need to be able to process the file to a format that either youtube or photobucket will accept if you want to post it online for others....I use windows movie maker for that.
I also use screen virtuoso. Some other programs that you can pay for are Snagit and Fraps.

Just had my night snack..ice tea and pretzels nuggets lite seasoning honey mustard and onion. They were good usually don't like them too heavily seasoned.
Just heard on news around 26 dogs all pedigree different kinds. Roaming tonight in cold in roadway. One was hit by car. They caught all but one. That one they are worried might not make it through the night. They think from a puppy mill (one owner) just let them out.

I heard that report about the dogs on Ch. 9, too, Dana, but didn't catch where it was. There was something in the paper this am about a bunch rescued in Frederick yesterday, I think it was.
Heading for bed...early retiree breakfast.
Fearing that if something doesn't happen tonight, we will only be having two.

FREDERICK, Md. -- Someone abandoned almost two dozen dogs in Frederick.
Since midnight, 22 dogs have been found wandering. Another was hit by a car and killed.

The dogs were in average health. They are small breeds and hadn't been spayed or neutered.

Well, her head is up again. She's so restless it looks like there's another one due.
I was just thinking, in the three previous years I've watched this nest, I don't believe I've ever seen Belle laying an egg.
I've seen her just before and not long after, but I don't think I've seen her doing what I could say was laying an egg...maybe they're airlifted in by the Fish & Game Dept. You think??

I agree Donna I think overall Big Boy was less aggressive towards our "baby" than Pecky Pearl was. We even have a clip where Big Boy "lets"Spunky take some food away...with a bit of an effort but Spunky does get the food! OK Ok so Spunky also had earned his/her name over the weeks in the nest with the 2 older sibs as well. That little one did have spunk and it came in handy when needed for sure.
Hear that Phelps has been suspended by the swimming sanctioning body for three months, and the sheriff in SC is talking about charging him...don't quite know how he can do that w/o physical evidence...hmmmmm. If he can pull that off, there sure are many other personalities who could be charged w/ something based on a photo! How 'bout Britney Spears and Janet Jackson for public exposure/nudity??!!!

Do you suppose it has been too cold for our couple to wander off the eggs long enough for Hanky Panky? I believe that is necessary for a third egg;)
