I watched the Ben Carson movie last night...very good. I think we met him before on Hopkins show, didn't we, Mits? Couldn't beleive the way that middle school teacher acted when he got the top honors for the 8th grade. Fire her a_ _!!!!
Having a lot of trouble w/ computer tonight....must be an awful lot of people on the internet...slow-w-w...and it's not my server causing me problems for once!
My 10 yr. old gd drew me a picture of a frog (one of my "collector" faves) and captioned it "Jesus Makes Us Hoppy"---thought that was pretty cute!
Margy, I once raised a litter (?) of 3 newborn opossums by hand w/ a doll bottle when their mother had dropped them and fled. They were ugly but cute...and would nestle into the girls' long hair to sleep, just like my hamster would nestle into my neck when I was a kid. After weaned from bottle, vet said to feed canned cat food....terrible odor problems then!! Released them at about 3 months...of course, never knew how they fared. I even took them to work with me in a paper bag to continue every two hour feedings when they were wee little.
Lynn, aren't our grandchildren the smartest and cutest, ever?:)
LORETTA, I am so sorry for the slip on Frank. That was my doing, not Margy's. As I captioned it, I didn't think that looked like Frank, but I thought it had to be since he was with you! A thousand pardons! Give me 10 lashes with a wet noodle:)

My cam is either froze or that eagle in our nest is going to get a stiff neck. There is goes. My cam is jerky this morning.
I just turned on the ME EAGLE site & the EAGLE was on the limb above the nest-----then took off!!

Monday, February 9
Well, he’s finally done it! Xi Lan now spends the entire day out on exhibit with Lun Lun. He is now comfortable enough in the dayroom that he doesn’t sleep at the door that leads to the off-exhibit dens, waiting for it to open. Instead, he climbs into the hammock, which meets all of his napping needs. I have not yet seen a pattern to his behavior, since it does seem like he rests most of the day. But it isn’t uncommon for him to be active first thing in the morning, when he tries to entice Lun Lun to play with him. Be sure to stop by and see Xi Lan; he’s usually in the dayroom from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
