Hey, ya'll left me again!! Me and Mattie just finished cleaning the kitchen. She is a great little helper, for sure.
I, too, was looking at Sissy's pictures...What a cute bunch of dogs and people;)
I am in OK and OR with the Hawks, CO with the Owl and OR with the eagle, all currently MIA. Plus I am in WV and MD with the eagles that are home.
MATTIE can come and stay with me this Summer:)

I am telling ya, when she wants to, she is the best at cleaning house, always has been. I don't know where she gets it from, not us for sure.
And she bathed all my dogs in just a little while!! (and the cat!!)
I'm still waiting for BRS to leave the restaurant he has been at all afternoon
Visit with GeeGee today was a good one. We try to steer the conversation to things she enjoys from the past. We talked about butchering today and that brought back many fond memories for ALL of us;) Gene made a HUGE pot of chili and she ate a goodly amout of it. She continues to have a good appetite (thanks to the prednisone, I think).
BRS had better leave a good tip;)

Ah, yes, Gasparilla Parade. Have never seen that either. Funny, but no one ever asks for pirate costumes for Mardi Gras. Maybe they don't relate the two. (Mardi Gras and Pirates) There was also, Lafayette, but they don't throw a parade in his honor. He was bad!

I am happy to report that I went to Roller Floral and pick up my beautiful flowers!! And, it just so happens, the flower shop is located about 500 feet from the Jefferson Cam. That was not me who ran the stop sign though!

Sorry for the late note on the cam page. I was at a US Fish and Wildlife Service conference yesterday and today, and both cams went down in both days.

We hear from our cam technician that the cam may have died or there could be a connection problem at the top of the osprey platform. We're working on a fix, but it may take a while since we'll have to rent a bucket truck to go up.

The Hoover is sucking right along! Home health came today to change the dressing and she could already tell a difference in the size. That is a good thing!

Good evening! Sitting in Laurel's comfy chair with my feed up. It was a busy day. While the boys were at school, I had a lot of picking up to do. Their Daddy did not stay on top of their toy mess!
Then I went grocery shopping. At three I picked up Jacob and then to Joseph's school after that to get him. Went to the mall. an interesting experience, to get Jacob jeans. Boys do take out the knees of jeans! Then to get hair cuts. Home to do homework and cook supper (Grilled pork chops outside and mac and cheese.) After supper Joey took Joseph to baseball practice and I bathed Jacob and got him ready for bed. This Grandmommy is now tired! 0

I want to share something with the newbies that we have on here now but wasn't with us during our first year. I was in the hospital at UVA that December and I received roses from the most wonderful trio - Big Boy, Miss InBetween and our little Spunky. That was so very awesome!

Couldn't get beakspeak.com open; tried my links from last year to NCTC, and some of those failed; got to the front page of the blog and stalled out; took at least 5 min to open this page.... Still haven't been able to open the camera page..

It is 19° and sunny here.
I've been watching BRS this morning, and have found that watching him on full screen will make you car sick! I have tried to get a 50% increase in screen size, but it doesn't work. So, it is either a smooth, pleasant, ride with a tiny screen or a BIG screen with car sickness. Take your pick:)

Good morning. I am actually on early :). No hangovers here. Golly I hope they get BWE fixed this is such a big week.
I have posted the photos going to the camera club contest on Glo's Glimpses in case you are curious Now you can just kind of on your own "quietly" decide which one you think will receive the highest and the lowest score of those 3. See if you agree with the judges.
I will post the info after cam club next week.

Glo, of the 2 that you posted this morning, I like the one with the eagle coming up out of the water with the fish. Really looking forward to the judges comments. You do such beautiful work and we enjoy all of your photos:)
Wanda the third one is the new feature picture at the top of the Blog. The eagle with the fish. That one is my choice to enter along with the two chosen by others.
Gosh take a look at Maines nest soon. One o their nice branches is very very weighted down with snow. Hoping it is totally attached and will bounce back up when snow melts.

Mauley, I think Mattie likes to work. When we had our last Open House, she worked at whatever she could, all day long. She was a big help during our dinner activities:)
