I'm going to spend an hour or so and Stuffed Pitted Dates with P-nutbutter and then roll them in Confectioners' sugar. Our family has had them ever since I can remember... except for the last year or two. Time to get it going again.

I like date bread, the dates are all chopped up. I am not sure about a date stuffed with peanut butter. I am weird with textures, but getting better. I can eat bananas now.
Whenever you get around to it, Lolly. No rush!! Know what you mean about not cooking at someone elses house! Two years ago I fixed Thanksgiving dinner and took to my daughters' house....never again! It was not only more work, but from oven/stove to table to car to house, etc. just wasn't the same as straight to table!!

Dusting and pies tomorrow for me, Lolly, and then everything else waits until Christmas morning! Dressing, bird and peeling potatoes! Then when the girls get here they can mash, stir gravy, etc. And they and the SIL's are so good about the clean-up--one SIL or the other cleans off the carcass, too! Of course, that's how they get leftovers...LOL!

Tomorrow is Samantha's real b-day.
She was our Christmas miracle seven years ago! I remember it like it was yesterday.

Jo, that is such a happy story! Some women are born to be mothers....so congrats that they were able to defy the doctors' diagnosis!!! And how special to have a Christmas baby!!!

Rain here but icy still. I went slip sliding down the driveway to get the paper.The birdfeeders are empty, but they will just have to wait.
Eagles at BW osprey, squirrels at PA cam everything else MIA.
Mom decided that we can decorate for Christmas now--I told her it was a bit early--sheesh.
