I can't believe what I just saw....Tian-Tian was sitting next to Mei-Xiang and he picked up a plain stalk of bamboo, broke it in half and handed her half.
PAULA---Isn't that's exciting---I have been through my daughter's wedding & I remember thinking----AFTER THIS---I can handle any thing---Just bring it on---ho!--When is the big event?---
The oldest in VA - you can start to see his tail feathers coming in....I think that's why they are so awkward - they don't have any balance on that end until those feathers come in....you can see how the adults use them for balance....
HI MITS----I was watching them yesterday----They were eating bamboo---One was sitting way behind the other----He/She walked up & sat down beside him/her---WOW---I wanted to yell---FIGHT--FIGHT-- ho!--But no---they continued to eat the bamboo---side by side---SO TENDER!!!
Mits Forgot to mention to you that when you were out in AZ the Mist was turned on at the zoo and one of the pandas was as close to it as he could be just enjoying it like you thought they would.
I am not hosting the shower, just attending. But trying to get stuff together for rehearsal dinner - we are having a cookout - Steaks, chicken, etc. That is not at my house either, but it's my baby, so to speak - so lots to do there!
When my son was getting married, my friend told me to, "Shut up, Show up, and wear Beige". That is evidently rules for the Mom of the Groom, and I followed them:).
Oh, Mits, it's their wedding. I'm in charge of the rehearsal dinner, and that's it. I really just want them to have it how they want it....it's their wedding, after all!
They are doing a hike on Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa next weekend - that is why I am going, get to meet everyone....and have a little vacation time too. Definitely need one, been 18 months since I had any time off, so really looking forward to it.
Its great to have boys, no pressure for me when he got married, had rehearsal dinner at the Carriage House in Emmitsburg.....have a great time, on you trip, Paula. A little friend of mine from Arizona is going to Catalina Islands last of April on a school trip, I told her to be on the lookout for eagles.

Jo, I have stopped doing my hair on Wednesdays, they turn the misters on whether it is hot or not. But Tai justs loves them.
