Sounds wonderful. I am so glad it all went so well. I think WV especially near NCTC must be one of the greatest places there is to live.
Paula Did they give any hints as to whent hey might turnt he camera on for us? Inquiring minds want to know LOL

Paula it was so good to see you there - I feel bad that I didn't have enough time to stay longer and help and visit more, but my son was a good motivator to keep me moving so I could see some of the wonderful activities and the campus. Next year (I assume we'll make this an annual event?) I promise to help with the table. Sorry I missed Vicky and her hubby and Megan (and the cookies, too). Thank YOU so much Paula for all the work you put into getting the products and getting a table at the Open House and selling them and and and and - I am sure the profits along with Glo's great work and profits will go a good ways toward helping with the cost of TWO (I'm so excited about that!) cams and next year's sound (so anxious for that - wish it was this year, but understand why it isn't so it is all good!). Did they say when the still pics will be starting and if the live cam will be back up, as well?

Hi Belle so glad you were able to go to the Open House. Sounds like it was wonderful fun. I too am just sitting here owndering when we get the cam...(sigh) I want to see them so much!!!

Oh, Yeah, and for those of us lucky enough to be at the table when Todd stopped by the first time, someone asked him to autograph their eaglet momster tote bag - then he had to sogn about 10 of them.

It was so funny, everyone grabbing their bags and putting them on the table for Todd to sign!

I think he was a little surprised and humbled by the requests, but touched, also. He graciously signed each and every tote bag.

I overhead someone from NCTC mentioning that they'd had visitors from England, and the Netherlands I think it was, so folks travel a long way to visit - hint hint to all the momsters to make plans for next year. Perhaps if we make arrangements early we could get a good rate for lodging there. We could be considered community level amnassadors for conservation and getting folks involoved in the nature around us in more positive ways..... I'd be up for a LONG training session by the folks there so I could perform my job adequately - volunteer of course, but some free lodging and time to tour/explore that beautiful campus would be excellent compensation???? What ya all think???

Well Belle it does pay to plan aheda LOL.

I didn't have lunch w/ Steve, and Jo and Dana were so excited about the second cam that they forgot to ask when it will be turned on!

Belle, it was so nice to see you again. I'm glad you had a great day w/ your son. Did you get to see Critterman? I met him several times that day, but didn't get to see his show. Seemed like a real nice guy.

ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH - whaaaaaaaa I didn't get my tote signed :( Oh bummer.. Oh well, if I'd gotten it signed, I'd have been afraid to use it at all, as it is it is so pretty I'll be very cautious when/where I use it. I bet he was thrilled with his copy of the print! And knowing how much everyone loves his work is a great thing- so glad folks were able to express their awe and appreciation of his work with him :)

Well, I am finally home. Very long but wonderful day. Sounds like everybody had a wonderful day!!

We won 3rd place percussion, 3rd place field conductor, 1st place flags, 1st place band in our class (there were 6 other bands in our class) and we won 1st Runner Up Grand Champion. Normally the larger bands with big shows win those awards but this year that most awesome BLUEFIELD BEAVER BAND won it. Yes, I am a very proud parent of a senior!!!

Anyway, I am going to bed now. Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers and fur!

I'm so glad you're all having fun at the Open House! I'm so jealous that you get to go!

Hubby goes to a convention (without me) each July in San Diego -- maybe next year I'll go to the Open House without him, just to have a trip of my own!

I'm so excited that they put up a second camera. I'm not too worried about sound; it would be nice, but I'll take the second cam over sound any day! I can't wait til they fire them up! WHEN WILL THAT BE?????

Gotta get to bed, getting up early in the am. Mom and I are going out to Lake Pleasant to release a Great Horned Owl that came to us when just a little fuzzball! I'll post pictures if I get some decent ones (it happens very quickly).

Have fun, be careful getting home, eat cookies for me, and POST PICTURES!!
