Well it has been a rather eventful but somewhat frustrating day in my world. Then I spent the evening watching dog stuff on HGTV which was a nice escape from all the other frustrating stuff LOL. Supposed to be a beautiufl day tomorrow, and tomorrow night I am going to a near by park with a friend to see a play or Ballet, probalby a combination thing. I am looking really forward to all of that.
Wishing you all a good night's sleep. i will bLOG at ya tomorrow, about 2 hours more than I did today LOL.
Not a cheer leader but was on the Queens Court at the prom, and my b/f was number 31 on the Varsity football team..but they played like they needed some cheerin ...
Yes,nite all-early morning for me tomorrow-have to go to sleep now so I don't have to hear husband whining about the Redskin's awful game.Just saw Joe Gibbs on Tv after game-boy was he p'd off.Hear thuder, maybe it will bring some rain with it-
Good night all and sweet dreams, sorry I missed most of your 'exits' while I was 'showering' my sinuses... now I am going to read til the words don't make sense anymore ... see y'all in the morning time...
Good morning all. Hoping everyone is heading for a very beautiful day. I don't have any frustrating plans for today LOL. Think I'll look forward to a Sabbath's rest.
Good Morning All...Tai Shan is doing his balancing act on the downed tree branch, I think he is actually barking every now and then, getting a deeper bark. The only other thing I hate besides pre-season, football is coaches and players, who whine about a loss. Give me a break, it does not mean a thing. Just a big "ole" publicity chance to make you believe how tough they are and are going to be...as long as these players of today get the big bucks, they do not care where they play, and very little about the fans who are paying big bucks to watch them.
Good morning all. Overslept this morning. Supposed to start work at 8 a.m. and didn't wake up until 8:15. Thank God it takes me 2 seconds to get from bed to work.
Mits, I am with you on the football thing. Just shut up and take your millions home and whine there.
Nilla, Queen's court, impressive and a football player boyfriend. The Stud and the Princess. We could make a movie of that.
Going back to work now. Need to make up for time lost!
Mits and Sharon, I agree with the 'hush up and play for your millions' thought. Tickets to football games are unreal! I can't even IMAGINE spending the money for tickets to go see a game. I enjoy football, for sure, but ghesh, hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a few hours? Not to mention prices for the food and such. I can't believe people pay. Then there's the money they make from advertisements. And our police and fire fighters who REALLY risk their lives every day...
OK done with that, nothing I can do to change it, so I will just move on...
Now that is why they call you eagle-eye, SHARON, completely missed him in that nest. I JUST LOVE THAT NEST, ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL CALM!!! Yes, Sharon, nothing makes my blood boil more, when these football or baseball or any sports figure whine about anything, with the money they are making, then go on the field and just go thru the motions. They should talk to my husband about work ethics.
Belle, I am having a really hard time breathing this morning. Mine started in my chest, moved to my sinuses and now back to my chest and sinuses. You don't need to get sick on top of your surgery. That would really suck out loud!
Mits, I pulled up the Maine nest, did a quick scan and almost turned it back off when I spotted him. He is sitting there so still. It is so good to see an eaglet. Ospreys are okay but eagles are the bomb!!!
Work ethics for sure... yeah they have to keep their bodies in shape, but heck, I would be happy if that was part of my daily paid routine, to be healthy! Ghesh... sure they get broken bones and bruises and risk injury, but they have the BEST healthcare available within seconds and at no additional charge.... just wish the priorities would shift into a better balance in this country, actors and athletes are great sure, but ... ok I'm 'being haved' now - flowers, and feathers and haircuts... LOL
I love that nest in ME - that's a place I could sit for hours and hours, too... just like the 'ole sycamore' such a feeling of serenity and grace there
I just wish that cam would stay up and not turn off after 2 minutes. My goodness, the work it takes to click on the play button over and over again. :):):)
Oh yeah - can't forget the wax... speaking of which.... anyone have any ideas on how I can shave my legs without bending forward??? Looks like I am going to have to get out long pants (or start getting the leg hairs corn rowed...) now there's a fashion fad we WON'T see on the NYC runways
BELLE my husband is an accountant, has been with the same firm, although they have changed name several times, for 37 years. Still works as hard as the first day he walked into the firm.
Yep, I'm seeing things, thought he was a little lower on the branch. Its a wonderful place for a nest. Our eagles have a good location also, close to the water.
Oh my - an accountant - more power to him... that is a tough job for sure. 37 years? Y'all don't look like your over 45 yourselves, he started work YOUNG!
Hmmm Sharon, hubby shavin my legs... that might lead to other things .... hmmm creativity might be required LOL - you know what they say - necessity is the best way to start something fun... LOL
At CT nest, smurf bear has been moved to the middle of the nest. Wonder who they stole it from. Child is probably still crying over somebody stealing its bear!
LOL Sharon, Nair or Veet? We tried the veet stuff - it doesn't smell quite as bad as Nair, to me, anyway... but didn't last any longer than shaving - so why bother....
ROFL - wish I could have Frapped that for Jo - one started wiggling around and the other one was biting at it saying quit yer wigglin - then first one did a poop shoot - good thing the other one got his beak out of the way!! ROFL
LOL the swallows need to figure out how to fit in the nest like sardines -head to tail to head to tail to head to tail LOL they get so miffed with each other when one moves and jostles the others... wonder when they will be ready to fledge and roost elsewhere
Good 'very late' morning, Sharon,Mits & Belle. Sounds as though you are going thru all the cams! Going to seem like a long winter until the spring gets here & we have some new action in our sycamore tree. Already had early morning company today-grandson & great granddaughter stopped in to see me. Alexis is a very bright little 19 mo old. Loves to play make believe with the doll house & people. Best part is that she can say I love you and can blow kisses. Oh yes, then she does a high five. The rain in this area didn't amount to a hill of beans! Really, really humid out there today. I have no plans for today other then stay inside & relax. I hope you two start to feel better with your noses. Stay healthy, Mits, or you won't be allowed near Maggie!
Well, that is a crowded little nest. Not even enough room for parent to get there to feed them. Saw one fly up there and immediately gone. Is that how they do it?
That seems to be all there's room for Sharon, not sure if that is a typical size clutch hatch or not...but they sure are maxing out the capacity of that nest - it wiggles sometimes and I worry it will fall down
When we don't get the rain & the grass dies - why do weeds keep on growing. Hubby is mowing the weeds! I went in on Denbury Farms & don't know why some of the cams won't start - I do have windows media player. Which cam are you watching?
The blog is really starting to slow down when refreshing. I can't believe that we actually got it up to 1000+ the one time. Guess we'll get a new thread tomorrow.
My restful Sabbath Well lets see i have made 2 trips to the Marina, once with each dog. Enjoyed wonderful walks each time, but no eaglet fix today. saw and heard lots of pretty birds though. Lots fo people launching boats, sucha gorgeous day, which could add to why there were no eaglets LOL. Actually the gulls don't see to be aorund there this morning either, but the ducks are there.
Then I came home and have just finished mowing the back yard. I have a pretty good headache coming on, not sure what that's about...maybe too much leisure Think I will fix some lunch, find a nice movie and sack out for a while. Tonight is the Ballet program in the park. That hsould be really nice, and I will need a jacket the way it feels and sounds right now. TTYL

Good morning everyone,
More sunshine here. Hope everyone had a good night and is ready to make today a great one...
Good morning, Belle, how is the schnaz this morning?

Hi Sharon, mine's stuffy, how's yours? Seems to be moving down into my chest - sigh...

Belle - And don't forget the wax!

Sharon, rest your weary clicker finger! I'll run and get you a splint and an icepack! Injury on the keyboard timeout.... go to commercial
Maybe we need to cart you into the locker room for an MRI - can't gamble with your clicker finger...
Belle, you could start a new trend. Maybe you could get your husband to shave your legs for you?
Eaglet gone, gone from Maine!
BELLE my husband is an accountant, has been with the same firm, although they have changed name several times, for 37 years. Still works as hard as the first day he walked into the firm.
Eaglet all gone, missed him leave while I was blogging.
Nope, wait I think he is just on a lower branch.
Looks foggy in Maine today.
He flew down towards the water. Convenient place for a nest, don't ya think?
Yep, I'm seeing things, thought he was a little lower on the branch. Its a wonderful place for a nest. Our eagles have a good location also, close to the water.
Oh my - an accountant - more power to him... that is a tough job for sure. 37 years? Y'all don't look like your over 45 yourselves, he started work YOUNG!

Can't believe it, after watching the zoo cams for over a year, finally am seeing 2 orangutans playing on their ropes.
(((((HUGS))))) to you BELLE Don't know about me ,but hubby is ageing well.
At CT nest, smurf bear has been moved to the middle of the nest. Wonder who they stole it from. Child is probably still crying over somebody stealing its bear!
You are always one step ahead of me SHARON Just saw the bear, LOL!!!
If I get 650, I want Nair.
Momma and 3 baby cardinals on my roof.
One of the baby cardinals is getting a tinge of orange on his beak. Cute!
LOL Sharon, Nair or Veet? We tried the veet stuff - it doesn't smell quite as bad as Nair, to me, anyway... but didn't last any longer than shaving - so why bother....
BC cam still dark? They're not this far behind us in sunup are they? Dark down under in Brisbane... going to check out the cams Chrissy sent us
awww nest full of swallows is snoozing - they look so cozy even though they could fall out at any second LOL
ROFL - wish I could have Frapped that for Jo - one started wiggling around and the other one was biting at it saying quit yer wigglin - then first one did a poop shoot - good thing the other one got his beak out of the way!! ROFL
Cam 1 has some outside pics of looks like grouse forraging... so nice
oops not grouse I meant quail - way too small for grouse - sorry
cam 2 is so funny - 4 birds stuffed in that itty bitty nest... the second one from the left is so squished in you can barely even see his beak
No, BELLE BC is only 3 hours behind, I'm assuming that the cam is not working, some times does not come on til 7 or 8 their time.
LOL the swallows need to figure out how to fit in the nest like sardines -head to tail to head to tail to head to tail LOL they get so miffed with each other when one moves and jostles the others... wonder when they will be ready to fledge and roost elsewhere
Oh well too bad the BC cam is down - liked looking there too
Someone just flew up to them and they all opened their mouths together. LOL!! Looks like some sort of bird comedy act.
Just did it again, LOL!! Mom seems to feed the mean looking one first.
What is the site with the birds?
I love watching their little mouths open...then the parent swoops in - like the early warning system
http://www.thewebbroadcastingcorporation.com/denburyfarm_cam2.php
I will send it by mail too

Sorry about the 666 Belle but thanks for the website. They are so cute!
Ok, Belle gave you the address, Sharon, its the site Chrissy gave to us one day this past week, even has a site with butterflys.

Good Morning , Jo, I'm going to start taking vitamins, so I don't get sick. Don't want to give Maggie anything bad.
That seems to be all there's room for Sharon, not sure if that is a typical size clutch hatch or not...but they sure are maxing out the capacity of that nest - it wiggles sometimes and I worry it will fall down
Morning Jo - sounds like you're having fun!
