I have to function very early in the morning - due at the office supply store by 7 am to get my school classroom supplies...
Nilla, I didn't recall the part about starting on Phase 2, but I was closer to two packs a day and probably ignored it.
I don't know what you usually smoke, but you could try Phase 2 and if it doesn't work well, just put them aside till later and get some Phase 1's. (I guess you have the Phase 1 now, come to think of it). And if you smoke like 9 a day, you could go ahead with the P. 1's and just shorten the time you use that one.
One thing you should NOT do is smoke while using the patch...that can kill you with an O.D. of nicotine.
I was stressed out enough at the time, so I tried to be cool about the patch and not try to hurry on to the next one too soon.
I don't remember the name of the surgery where they put the stents in through your groin and aorta, but they did the exploratory on me. They didn't find any blockages bad enough to stent, and the valves were in pretty good shape...no further surgery necessary.
Sounds good, but it took a lot longer with only medication to get real improvement. I have some friends who got stents, and they began to feel more energetic and younger very soon...sometimes people have to have one or more of them reimplanted, but......
Best of luck with the patches, don't give up on them if you can help it, and don't hesitate to ask me or somebody else for advice.

Dont worry i didnt open the step 2 NicoDerm i only smoked maybe 5 aday,, pack lasted me 3-4 days Now there was aday when i smoked alot more but along time ago.. So taking it down to get step 2 and exchange it.. Congrats Jim this was way to close for comfort for me being that sick and scared...

I like our new pictures, kind of feels good just to look at some favorite times etc. Whatever it takes to make it to Nov, dec or whever they turn back ont he still cam. I want to see the day they show back up at the nest, but my guess is they will come and go a little and then the Camera will be put up to speed again with whatever it needs for next season, plus HOPEFULLY a new camera with sights and sounds added as well.

Sandy let me just personally say that you have excellent taste in what you ordered. I still need to get the newly designed mug myself, I have the First Momster design...But yes I will get one of these eventually too. I so love my throw pillow. Gives me an eagle/eaglet fix...with a hug thrown in anytime I want to pick it up hug it, and look at it. It is now the ONLY throw pillow in my Living Room. That's what I use to show off and tell our Eagle/3 Little Eaglets story to anyone who will listen. Some of course are very interested, others are probably just being polite LOL.

Howdy everyone - had to go to Office max this morning at 7, then ran other errands. I think I pushed a little too much - feeling fairly icky at the moment... oh well - errands are done, so I can rest for awhile... Sharon, hope you feel betters. Try vaseline, or A&D or Vicks - that'll help open the sinuses and cushion your nose, too.

Nilla I love love salads but they "hate" me. I envy people that can eat salads; and that's the truth. Tried different ways, with/without dressing, different kinds of lettuce, no lettuce (hardly a salad then). I even watch people when we are out making their salads. Sometimes my husband has to say "remember"; glad he does.
Oh yummy I give up desserts for salads!!

Bought a headset for my computer - need it for my practicum - it is pretty neat... anyone ever tried the phone over the net these days? I remmeber it way back (like over 10 years ago and it was pretty iffy). There was a coupon with the headset for Skype - sounds like a strange name, no matter how you try to pronounce it... so I'm a little leary of installing anything like that...anyone know anything about it?

Work is going okay. When I get through with my regular shift, I have to work about 2 hours OT.
Nose is yucky. Not feeling quite as bed at the moment. How is your nose, Belle? Thinking of yours puts mine in proper perspective.
It is doing pretty well, no bleeding, forhead and bridge of nose hurt more than anything aside from the general 'headache' feeling ... once the swelling etc resolves I think I'll be a happy camper :) Is Andrew sick, too? Being sick in the summer is the worst... bet you aren't the only one from band camp that got this lingering souveneir
Mei is eaeting bamboo in the den and it looks like Tai is in a time-out, leaning over that white bed-looking thingy in the little room (not sure what it is called).
LOL time out - that boy sure needs his share of them !! Though from what y'all have said he hasn't been quite as onery as he was last week... wish I could watch him without my computer turning into a slug
Ok Ok i am back and let me tell ya all tuckered out.. Got the NicoDerm step 2 patches so good to go on that deal..Stpped by Sheila's resturant n got there special Swiss Steak was ok didnt eat much.. Stopped at store and thanked the other 2 employee's for working for me.. Ok Belle send me e-mail with your phone number or you have mine call me please.. Saron got your e-mail n will call soon.. Doesnt that excite ya..lol I am in my night gown put some ribs in the oven and just relaxing all evening, B/P is so good just took 121/81 I AM NORMAL..LOL but til my body gets use to this i feel weak.. Well I just wated 2 hours trying to move my computer and dsl etc to a different room and location in my house. I don't get it after all that...no problem with phone owrking anywhere in this house, but when I try to move my dsl modem to that particular spot it won't pick up the dial tone for my computer . I would so love to be in the other room doing this. I am sick of staring at this one particular wall in my bedroom. LOL. Anyway to make a long story short I have moved it all back to where it originally was, am hooked back upm staring at my bedroom wall etc and everything is working fine Gr-r-r-r.
Now it is naptime for me.

Somebody mentioned a tailless bird, and I immediately wondered about that poor baldheaded Cardinal...did she ever get back to normal...was it a molt thing?
Has anyone seen young Ospreys on the Blackwater nest lately? It's been at least a week since I've seen any. According to "Lisa" the expert there, there must be at least one juvenile around, or the father would have started to migrate and would not be defending the nest.
Have a good weekend...want to say it now in case my puter cannot stand the journey to the end of this thread again.

Jim, I have not seen the bald cardinal since coming back from band camp. Don't know if perhaps she is still around and has grown her feathers back or not. I do keep an eye out for her though. As far as the BW nest goes, we just saw a turkey vulture in there the other day but no ospreys.

.Nilla Do you mean like the filters that you put on each phone line. I do have filters on everything. I even took the filter from the bedroom and put it out in the sunroom in case the dsl wanted that particular one LOL. It still didn't work. If it is something different than a filter than I guess I'm not sure what it would be. The phone line to the sunroom is actually an extension from the basement run up through the floor. I'm thinking it could be because it is so far from the original phone jack. Maybe I need a new phone jack installed out there and it would then work fine. I did have dsl through a local provider out there before and it did fine. I don't know. Anyway, the sunroom which of course is lovely this time of year and not so hot later in the day etc..is absent the computer, and the bedroom still has the whole set up in there.

I may cough up the money for another phone line, and then again early winter I may buy a new laptop with wireless capabilities. I guess then it runs off of the dsl on this big computer.
Anyone who knows about wireless and what I would need if I got a laptop, share your knowledge I would just get somethihg kind of simple doesn't need a huge hard drive, just needs to be able to watch eagles LOL, and do some other basic stuff.
OK well now its doggie walk and supper time and then my supper time. I am going to use my Gearge Foremen tonight and grill some chicken.TTYL

Nilla that is great BP; the patch may make it go up alittle. Just check and keep an eye on it. Also please remember your body has been through a "shock". So take things slowly for awhile.

Had a wonderful visit with "our little MAGGIE". It kind of funny, here is my son, who could not keep his room straight, when he was younger, taking care of his wife, who is under the weather, and his little daughter just beautifully.

Well, I am back and getting ready to do my overtime. Supposed to work 1/2 day tomorrow and off Monday but feel pretty sure I will have to do OT tomorrow and Monday. Oh well, that is what I get for taking vacation!! For anybody that has worked in health care, you will understand this. Joint commission came to the hospital on Monday (my vacation started Sunday). The girls had to work 12 hour days trying to get caught up. So really, 2 hours OT each day ain't bad. I am so grateful I was not there. God does for us what we can't do for ourselves!!

Elia is now 14 months old no I didn't buy her the little dress or the bows for her hair. Her mommy chooses and dresses her awfully cute most of the time. She has always been pretty feminine herself and loves girlie kinds of things. I can hardly keep nailpolish on my nails, makes me nervous and I pick it right off :-( fromt he time my daughter was old enough to know there was such a thing, she always wanted her nails polished. Now of course she gets her "nails done"...So i am sure Elia will be raised with those kinds of frills etc. Its been a month since I have seen her and I own't see her until Christmas. She'll probably be gabbing at me and making me chase her around by then LOL.

I checked the Blackwater Ospreys again...saw only an empty nest... but if you look at the photos, they have some of both the mom and pop on the nest in recent times... as late as this morning. Also saw pics of the buzzard, and if you think that's ugly, you should see the California Condor.
Nilla, don't forget to put some tape or a band-aid over the patch if it seems hard to stick. Otherwise you'll be treating your clothes instead of your nicotine craving body.
Sorry, Glo, I don't know much about wireless computers (do have a wireless mouse), but one thing I do know is the computer shouldn't be too far from the transmitter. [That's not a lot of knowledge, is it?]

We love the bikers in Ocean City, it may be noisy for awile, but they have been known to spend 8 million dollars when they are there, don't know who came up with that figure, but, the city welcomes them with open-arms.
