Floral Gal I don't know that you had a chance to see my question about Gerbera daisies on the 1000 plus thread. I have it as a gift, and remember I was supposed to remove the spent blooms, but i'm not sure how to do that. Do I cut them all the way down as far as i can, or judt dead head them , which would leave kind of a ,not so pretty long green stem. I have a new blossom starting an done kinda of just starting to droop over that I need to do something with. Thanks for any info.

Mits if you only deleted cookies and history that wouldn't affect your paswords. I delete those quite often. Plus in my emails the "sent mails" I deleted and empty those.

Jo Thaks for the info on the Daisy. I think I iwll go cut it after this post, and keep it in a vase a couple of days. I actually need to transplant it into a differnt pot this week too. It seems like it will be very happy in my little sunrrom.

.Copying my first VHS to DVD. Copying it for a young lady now who entered my life a few years ago. but left it (well her mom took her and left with another man yucky stuff..But I love her and I think she may want to have this DVD someday. Made me cry almost instantly though so i have it on mute, and when it is done I sahll tuck it away, or put it in the Safety deposit box. Since I really don't know that she will ever really get it or see it, it was a good one to start with, before making the ones I know are staying here in safe keeping or going into the hands of those I know will get them and cherish them...More fun stuff ahead..but I think I have figured this out. Gonna have to watch the first minute or so of this DVD to be sure it worked right..

Sat out on the deck last night w/ a couple of friends, grilled dinner, had a couple of maggies.
Had my coffee on the deck this morning, watched the hummingbird pair fly around the yard and hit the feeder and plants on the deck, tried to get a couple of shots, hope they turned out. Actually got to see where they were landing, and watched them w/ the binoculars. Pretty peaceful morning.
Off to finish laundry now, and soak up some sun, will BBL.

Hello all-checking in-Hey Glo- saw your question ,Jo's advice about the gerber is right(thanks,Jo) If you decide to replant it,always make sure the crown is just above the soil line.All the blooms come from the center,if you cover it with dirt by planting too deeply,it will not bloom.They are such a great flower,I don't grow them,but have bought hundreds for parties and weddings.Hope you had a safe ride back to the beach, mits(the beach...OH,I'm sooo jealous).Sharon-have a great time at band camp!

Oh OH dang forgot to tell everyone. This morning was in Sidney/British Columbia watching the 2 eaglets. Took a second when 1 flew to come in and let you all know 1 eaglet in there going back.
I used my "voice activated tape recorder" and I got eaglet talking on there. Oh so pretty to my ears.
Just checked Tai is at the milk bar as our loving friends from UK would say..lol He is nursing,, big baby.. so cute.. What a time he had with the tub and ball earlier.

Poor Steven he see's all those post. Then Sharon leaves for band camp, Mits goes to the ocean. Vicky Il hasn't been in. Geula hasn't been in. Suzanne has commented lately. Some are lurking an not commenting lol. He's going to wonder what happened over 1000 then hardly no blogging at all.
We are going to drive the poor wonderful man crazy.
I am currently copying my daughter's High School Graduation tape to a DVD...Makes me feel kind of old LOL. It is neat though to see her then, hear what was said at graduation etc. etc/ This is DVD number 3 of about 60 or so...guess this could take a while. I am so glad thought o get the VHS updated toDVD and preserve them for others to have much longer than the VHS will last. Hopefully they won't outdate DVD players too soon, .OR we will all have lifetime DVD's with defunct machines and no place to play them. That isn't going to happen is it!!!

The boys are home. Daughter is still at the camp in Green Bank. I heard from my professor and he says I'm on the right track, so hoping I can finish up tonight or in the morning.

I hope MITS stops in for a few once she gets unpacked. Will rest more easily once I know she's arrived safely. Haven't heard from CAB or DLK today - I know DLK had the shires to show today. No birdgirl either. Lots of no shows for us to worry about.

This evening, Nilla had to go over to her daughters and my daughter phoned to say she was coming over & bringing dinner for us. Hopefully we will get there before any migration begins. I think I'll email S.Wunderley and ask if he's seen any activity lately and when does he think our kids will go toward warmer weather.

It sounds like someone has to go up there to fix the cam - don't know how soon that would be. Doubt if they would reach into the nest for the shells. Maybe this winter before snowfall we could go over to the tree and look under it. You know, after the tics have frozen!

Hi all, its MITS Won't have time to do name in blue for awhile down here. There was a 2 mile backup at the Bay Bridge, but I have EZ_PASS, so just breezed thru. Could not stop at BW, had to get down here before my friend arrived, she was only about a half hour behind me. Going to bed now, we are getting up at 3:00a.m. to go down to the inlet to watch the big boats go out for "THE WHITE MARLIN TOURNAMENY". Take care and wil check in, when I can, beautiful weather down the beach now. Night Eagle Friends. Oh, just read some of the last few posts, sorry, did not get a chance to post sooner. Yes, I saw our pics got on at Blackwater. You haven't submitted pics before? I have sent some in previously of the Osprey, also got some neat eagle ones, too.
Too bad Mits couldn't stop there on her way down again. I'm going to try a fall trip down there, heard you can see lots of eagles!

I guess what is really neat about those pics of the littlest fledging, is that we were the only ones to get the pics! That's cool!

Oh forgot Glo I did do Spunky's page you did an awesome job on both. Tears come to my eyes on both pages. When I see an Osprey that is last to fledge I always think of Spunky.
