Its a onesie with the word BLESSED written in silver, with a matching bib and booties, with little rhinestone crosses on them. Also, got her, her 1st silver cross and chain. Too Cute. She can wear this either under her christening outfit or when she gets home from church.

Interesting, I have surfed the National zoo cam for over a year now and have never seen the micronesian kingfisher, well she is in her nest, and she has an egg, but they don't seem to be giving any info on it.....
Lun Lun just came out of her hammock. People came in to clean up the old bamboo, put the cradle looking thing in the middle of the hammock, then took cradle looking thing back out of the hammock and appear to be tightening the sides of the hammock. Still working on the corners of the hammock, putting out fresh bamboo. Now he has broken out the drill and going to work on it. He has muskles too!! :) Now he is looking for a lost screw or something. Okay, so this is not a fledging blow by blow, but it is something! Still digging on the ground for the lost object. Probably like a needle in a haystack but could probable pose a danger to Lun Lun. Woman crawling around on the floor looking, still to no avail. Must have found it cause he is tightening it up now. Tightening up the other corner now. I guess they need to keep a close check on this thing in case she has the baby on it. Don't want the whole thing crashing to the ground - you know, down will come baby, cradle and all! Pic froze up so more will be revealed!
Thanks Norma, we have gone to Wheeling all three of Andrew's high school years and won the championship once. Makes for a long season when we go to the championship. Everybody with the band is really tired by that time.

No Vicky this was not a starling. Much bigger than a starling. I have a starling that nests over my laundry room. They are aggravating and multiple by the thousands every year! :) This was maybe a grackle or something like that.

LOL. I just looked at the bag and it says "Wild Bird Food for Birds". What else would it be for? I buy it at Lowe's. Don't think that is what is making them dysfunctional but who knows. The one with the bulging eye has been here a couple of times. Makes me cringe every time. I can tell you that cardinals, sparrows and mourning doves are not an endangered species around here.
I use to buy my bird food at Lowe's all the time. Someone told me to try a feed store. I was always have birds that had eye sores, feathers weird. She said the food parents ate then layed eggs and hatched. So I tried the feed store. After that winter the next spring and summer I had better looking birds. I really didn't believe her but it happened. Maybe it was just a coincidence.
Lun Lun when I checked was asleep inbetween doorway part in and part out. The cradle swing they had for her isn't up on the tree limbs now. No one at Maine Puleston 2 in New Hampshire over water 2 in Conn. Lil Smurf gone blue smurf there Tai was in another sectin leaving mom alone at this time. Wash. State had one in duck in water There is a new site for a falcom already hatched fuzzy white; google in falcom cam cmnh or just cmnh should come up. Didn't go to Danbury farms yet Oh grizzles are still there

2 young eagles for sure and not sure if the others were young or adult, too high up. But Idecided as I left work today to drive over to the Marina, as it is maybe 5 minutes from where I work, so i was just about there anyway. Did my 20 minutes plus walking, and my reward!!! .There they were two young ones down close enough that I knew they were this years young, well They weren't mature with white, so I guess I know they were young but don't know how young.
Right away I thought "Darn I don't have my camera"! And I didn't have my dogs so messing with a camera would have been relatively easy.
Then on the way back to my car, two more (or perhaps the same two, but much too high for me to know whether they were adults or not. Beautiful, and soaring somewhat together as they would soar apart some and then back towards each other.
Means so much more now that I know what they have been doing (if adults) and how they have been changing (if young) over just a few months time.
I got my eagle fix...It was Slendid indeed!!!!!
Time walk the dogs and feed all 3 of us. Company for a while tonight. Will Blog at you later.

No Vicky this was not a starling. Much bigger than a starling. I have a starling that nests over my laundry room. They are aggravating and multiple by the thousands every year! :) This was maybe a grackle or something like that.

Lun Lun's humble abode does not appear near as elaborate as Mei and Tai's!
LOL. I just looked at the bag and it says "Wild Bird Food for Birds". What else would it be for? I buy it at Lowe's. Don't think that is what is making them dysfunctional but who knows. The one with the bulging eye has been here a couple of times. Makes me cringe every time. I can tell you that cardinals, sparrows and mourning doves are not an endangered species around here.
I use to buy my bird food at Lowe's all the time. Someone told me to try a feed store. I was always have birds that had eye sores, feathers weird. She said the food parents ate then layed eggs and hatched. So I tried the feed store. After that winter the next spring and summer I had better looking birds. I really didn't believe her but it happened.
Maybe it was just a coincidence.
Lun Lun when I checked was asleep inbetween doorway part in and part out.

Getting ready to be nap time for me. Going to try to take a power nap before I head out for a little while. Work took way too long today!
Mei loves her 'rock' bed. Don't know how she can make it look so comfortable.
2 young eagles for sure and not sure if the others were young or adult, too high up. But Idecided as I left work today to drive over to the Marina, as it is maybe 5 minutes from where I work, so i was just about there anyway. Did my 20 minutes plus walking, and my reward!!! .There they were two young ones down close enough that I knew they were this years young, well They weren't mature with white, so I guess I know they were young but don't know how young.
Right away I thought "Darn I don't have my camera"! And I didn't have my dogs so messing with a camera would have been relatively easy.
Then on the way back to my car, two more (or perhaps the same two, but much too high for me to know whether they were adults or not. Beautiful, and soaring somewhat together as they would soar apart some and then back towards each other.
Means so much more now that I know what they have been doing (if adults) and how they have been changing (if young) over just a few months time.
I got my eagle fix...It was Slendid indeed!!!!!
Time walk the dogs and feed all 3 of us. Company for a while tonight. Will Blog at you later.

Imagining the water, the air, the daylight and the soaring of 2 eagles/eaglets. Low enough to tell they truly were. Then higher, higher, higher into the sky soaring......oh I've got to "stop". I'm getting myself headache from being too high in the sky.
