Lolly said... No, need to keep any bodies in the house still spring. They will keep nicely in the snow.
I have finished my walking. That is one good way to warm up! Jack did not walk. Something is wrong with his foot. The ball of his foot is painful and he did not do anything to it. At least anything that he can remember. He is now resting his foot and putting ice on it. It is gradually getting better. So, I walked alone.
I am worried about Daisy. Should we put out a canine alert? ☺
sorry about your gutter Mits...I still can't believe none of ours came down (yet) and the porch roof is still holding as well.
Ceil, that snow will melt and those crocus will be up before you know it!
The slipper chewing hound and I are off for a walk. Much of the snow pack is melted so hopefully we'll be able to get a long walk in. It's so nice out!! I have SPRING FEVER!!!
Oh, and I meant to say, after seeing all the tree and shrub damage around here from the snow, I can not imagine all the damage you will have. We have also had an appartment carport and one church roof collapse. And we only had snow for one day!
Judy, there are 2 eggs in the nest. Both parents are great! It will be about a month before they hatch. We think maybe one egg is not viable and the other is.
New update today! Winter Update #4 - February 19, 2010
We have had several days of fair, but chilly weather here in Shepherdstown. Our eagles are tending to two eggs. Whether or not both are viable is subject to discussion, but we believe that at least one is, hopefully both. Weather is expected to warm up through the weekend, with a chance of snow/sleet/rain on Monday. This will be the bird's next challenge.
Oh, ok, I was reading back on the blog and seeing people comment about it on the 13th sometime between 1:30 and 2:30 pm that she was seen laying an egg.
Daisy and I had a semi- nice walk. The snow is still very deep in some places and even worse to walk in now. Funny thing...I turned my back for just a moment and poof Daisy was gone....oh dear. LOL!
We heard a barred owl!!! First time I ever heard one during the day!
oh yeah, while we were out in the field, I heard a CRASH and sure enough one of the gutters on the opposite side of the house from our part caved and took the downspout with it...
I was just noticing the day of the week that Belle laid eggs.... It was a Tues, Sat, Tues, Sat. She must have been hatched as a Libra - such regularity! lol
Lynne, is that your story and you are sticking with it?
Jo, careful how you use the term "lolly gagging". lol
Feel sorry for Laurel. She has a cold again and this BIG party tomorrow. She said she is pretending she is better. Joey invited over 100 people. So far around 60 said they would be there. That is ridiculous, but then that is not surprising coming from him. Poor Laurel!

Well, Lynn, they really can not afford to have it catered. I am preparing a lot of food. Laurel took today off school and prepared a lot of food. She is waiting til tomorrow to do last minute cleaning. She is very organized, but he is no help. He does not have to do the cleaning and cooking. Nor will he clean up afterward!!!!!
Steve meant, I believe, that he will change the date on his update on Monday to say the 4th egg was laid on the 13th. Cause it's Friday and he's off for the weekend!
I am heading out to dinner with hubby, son & wife and their 2 sons (15 & 20) Love them! Yep! just to good ole' Cracker Barrel - breakfast food! NO MEAT!
yeah, Lolly, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Lynn, Daisy come back when called....??? NOT A CHANCE. Daisy is about to get a trainer. We are having SERIOUS issues with her pulling and lunging on the leash which is making walking her not only unpleasant, but dangerous. I have tried every technique I can use to get her to focus but with no luck. (using previous obedience knowledge, and other reading I've done, as well as consulting with my friend Maureen, a dog trainer who unfortunately lives too far for helping in person) This is a specific behavior problem that is NOT going to be fixed with basic obedience training.
I sent Steve an email on the 14th of the 2 eggs...thus lies (or lied, laid) the confusion. He must have missed my note further down in the email that said the egg was laid yesterday (meaning the 13th). Glad it's all cleared up :)

Aha, I see how things get posted twice now...in Firefox, I had to refresh to get my last message posted because of one of those conflicting edit messages...so when I just refreshed again, it posted it again!
Did you ever pinch the h___ out of a finger in the faucet??? Was putting sprayer back in to the stem, and got my pinkie in there---OUCH! Blood blister.
No, Lynn. He turns 40 Sunday. Laurel wanted to give him a party. But, I think the number got a wee bit out of line. He told Laurel, well, if I invite this person then I have to invite this person. And so on! He does know a lot of people from Rotary, work, school, church, etc. He is a true people person.
Sure, Diann, send your Jim on over, you come too, We finished dinner. I then prepared the marinated cheese, and made three cheese logs. Both to go with crackers. Tomorrow will make the mini crustless quiches that were so good, and queso dip. Taking chips and wine. (4 of the big bottles!) Joey is getting a keg.(I think he thinks he is still in college and this is his frat party.) Laurel is preparing stuffed mushrooms, artichoke rolls, cookies, several different dips, and she made my spicey sauce for meatballs. Oh and I am making two sopapilla cheese cakes.
Sound like enough? Come one come all! Oh, forgot Joey's mom is making one thing. (I did'nt say that!)

Got an important phone call earlier. Seems Max has been pretending to talk to me on the phone today so daughter phoned me to give him the real Nana. What a treat!
Lolly, I, too, am fascinated by curling but haven't watch enough to figure out the scoring.
Gotta go, got a message that I have to restart my compuyter. Darn.
Lolly, I found 3 more slides that should have gone into my earlier show....since I haven't yet figured out how to burn it to a disc, added them a little while ago. Yep...I would say you all will have plenty of food!! Sounds tasty.
It's weird to drive at night when the fog line is buried, and familiar landmarks are obscured by very tall snowbanks but I managed to make it home despite all that ☺
I just checked the Wonderful WV site and see the March Magazine is not up yet, which surprises me a little but maybe they want the home subscribers to see things first ☺
buzzing through a few sets of comments I did not see whether Steve commented on seeing the Magazine yet or not, and I didn't receive a reply email. It would have been neat if he, and guru John, and NU had been mentioned in the article. There is mention of "When Eagles Dream" and how to get a copy of that through Friends of NCTC. I know it is available on line through the live link, but it would be nice if the readers decide to BUY it instead
There is only ONE picture with the article that is confirmed one of our Royal Pair and the nest and the tree. There is one picture of an eagle on the first page of the article but it is not identified.
Of course, Liberty and Belle are not referred to by those names! They are mentioned as "a few years ago a pair of young bald eagles decided that this particular sycamore...was the perfect tree in which to build a nest." AMEN I say to that !
They're not sure what the issue is with the Maine forum, not sure if gone, hacked, what not. There is a backup forum if anyone is interested in the link, let me know.
The author of the article states that the NCTC staff "says the resident eagles are like an old married couple; the male brings branches to build the nest, and the female decides if the materials are good enough. "
I really think everyone will enjoy this article, and the one immediately following it about some other eagle things in the state.
Okay, I'm done for now. Going to read the earlier posts. xo Hope everyone is having a nice evening.
PS I shouldn't have teased Jim about reading UP, as I know he is as busy as the rest of us and it's impossible to keep up sometimes. Sorry Jim! Was just kidding with you...♥
I would be interested in the back up link Paula... thanks !
and Yes, I agree, buy the DVD and watch it anytime! And I only have a little 19 inch old fashioned television ! ☺ (I got the DVD as a gift, I was lucky)
Hedgie and Norma I think it is great how you are circulating the info and collecting names... I hope to read that Norma got her copy in the mail today... I think there are some local places here to get the magazine... I will try to check that out if you want xo
Cool pictures, Lynn I have seen some shots I wanted to get but no place to stop and do it ! Oh, I saw a beautiful male pileated woodpecker today, that was another shot I couldn't stop for
I had emailed Steve on the 15th that it seemed another egg had been laid on the 13th and it appeared the adults were roosting on two... maybe he did not get that email and it has been hard to keep up with the egg count
Hey Margy, I'm sure you know this, but just in case, this was in my email- DOUBLE FLYBY ALERT: Space shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to undock from the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday, Feb. 19th, at 7:54 pm EST. This sets the stage for a weekend of double flybys. The ISS and Endeavour will be circling Earth in mutual proximity, streaking through the night sky as distinct points of light. The show will continue until Endeavour lands at Kennedy Space Center on Sunday, Feb. 21st, at 10:16 pm EST.
Margy, glad you had a good day out. Is James feeling better? Yippee! I get another one out tomorrow. Christie and I are going to Hagersbush....lunch at Red Lobster, shopping at Sams' Club, and maybe to the movies to see Dear John, if the timing works.
Oh, a decade birthday bash for Joey on Saturday? Sure hope Laurel feels better! And that whatever that ONE THING is that the other mother is bringing, is very spectacular ! but it can't touch what you are taking Lolly Hey by the way! I caught that comment "But your parking lot was plowed." Yeah, I guess that was one of the reasons. Sigh
Lynne Barred owl? Wow, you would have loved to be at Patuxent River Park with us last April...one of the naturalists there, Greg....made an astounding Barred Owl call, and called one in, then another! It was, a HOOT ! xoxo
PA Nana Diann... I love the Max story about the telephone. I spent the afternoon and evening with my grandson James... it's just wonderful, grandchildren things...and Paula has that coming up again in just a couple of months ☺
Thanks for that info, Megan. I guess I better check my email! Don't recall there having been a shuttle landing at night before! Way cool!! Will go look for passover times.
NO Megan I did not know! I have been checking the ISS site to see but not for a couple of days. I saw the last shuttle and ISS do a double flyby and it was spectacular! If the skies are as clear as they were tonight, this will be super! Thanks !!!!
Hedgie - did you read Dear John? Christine (GER) did and saw the movie last night and was so disappointed comparing the movie to the book. If you go see it - let me know what you think.
enjoy your day out Saturday Lynn.. sounds great, especially the Red Lobster part!
James is feeling better thanks..but his poor little nose and ears are in rough shape...weepy, runny. BUT, he felt good enough to go out to Goodwill and Dairy Queen!
I am a little confused about the ISS-Endeavor sightings if the landing is Sunday...can I be lazy and have someone straighten me out on that ? pls and thx
Satellite tracker wrong. NASA email confirms Sun. evening touchdown, so only time the two can be seen together will be Sun. AM!! Cornfusing, for sure. So, flyover Sun. 5:45 AM and landing Sun. night at 10:16 PM.
Jo, yep, I we read the book. Frankly, I have been rather disappointed in almost all of the movies.....The Notebook and Message in a Bottle were the only ones I really liked and that was probably because of the cast. Costner/Newman in the former, and Garner/Rowlands in the latter.
Been alseep since just after my bath at 9. Just passed right out!
Pa Nana...great story about Max and your phone call!
Flyovers....cool, I'll have to recheck that when I am more awake!
Margey, LUCKY!! I love the pileated woodpeckers...we have them here but they never come to the suet....have to catch them out in the woods..and by the way....YOU are a hoot!
Lynn and Jo...the movies are NEVER as good as the books although the Notebook I too enjoyed. I guess if you love to read the movies just can't measure up, although sometimes can be good in their own right.
Going to bed for real now. Prayers for all....I miss the eagles...cam still giving me a fit!
Hi, Gang, Made it to the desert house and back OK. Traffic got heavy coming home, but at least it kept moving. Saw a robin on the lawn at the desert house! The Band-tailed Pigeon was back in our yard again today, too! He was really chowing down. Wonder if he's going to stay, or if he's going to move on in a few days.
Welcome news that Shirley's Rus just pulled a muscle. Bet it hurts, though. Prayers for a speedy recovery!
Sorry to hear of the loss of a couple of gutters. Mighty glad the roofs weren't damaged, though.
No rain here yet, but it's expected some time tonight. Have the sprinklers turned off--don't think they'll be needed for a while.
Well, think I'm gonna go watch some TV and unwind. Prayers being said for all. The night light is burning brightly, the porch light is on, and the eye scanner is good to go. Have a good night's sleep, and I'll be talking to you tomorrow. Love all you guys! :o]
Margy, I'll send the back up forum link tomorrow...I just closed it!
Heading to bed...going to Mom's tomorrow to check on the house...gotta shovel as well...picking up my bro in Germantown and heading over in the morning...
Finding the earlier discussion about the 4th egg kind of amusing - anyway, Mimi was me; I've changed my username since then. I was lurking for awhile - witnessed one of the other times that Belle laid an egg this season, but several other people witnessed & commented, so I didn't comment at that time.
On Feb 13th during egg laying, her behavior looked just the same as the prior time; only one person posted something this time, and that was a question re could she have just laid an egg. About 12 minutes later she stood up and two were clearly visible, I finally posted for the first time, to answer the question that yes, based on the virtually identical behavior to last time I witnessed egg laying (chirping + posture change) and seeing another egg that hadn't been there before, looked like she had indeed laid #4.
I was egg-cited (sorry) because the other 3 seemed likely non-viable, but this one has been kept from a lot of snow exposure.
Hey there Kicknbird...It's all good....that's GREAT that you were watching... glad you are with us ☺
Ceil teases me because I say good night or ttfn then keep coming back... I'e been closing down the evening things and always check the blog One Last Time..and this is that One Last Time... unless I get up and wander during the night
Time for me to get on to say good night. Tray 14 finished. Only 24 to go! Yikes!
Paula the marinated cheese is a recipe I found just recently and tried. You slice sharp cheddar and jack cheese thinly and marinate. The marinade is 1 envelope of Italian dressing mix, white vinegar, olive oil, chopped green onion. When you drain it and put it on a tray, you scatter pimiento on it. Serve with cracker. It is very attractive and very good. If you want the recipe, I'll send it.
Heading, as Jo says, down the hall.
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Oh, Lynn, loved your pictures! That is some icicle!!!

Good Morning Everyone in Eagleland! Don't think I ever got on here last night. Got home late, fell asleep in chair watching Olympics after dinner. See it's confirmed that the last egg was #4.I was at work that day & missed it. Altho the well was probably pretty clear of snow, I hope it wasn't too wet. Has she ever laid 4 in one clutch before? Whew! Apparently Lynne did not dispose of Daisy after all. Even being kind to her and taking her for a walk.
Oh, and I meant to say, after seeing all the tree and shrub damage around here from the snow, I can not imagine all the damage you will have. We have also had an appartment carport and one church roof collapse. And we only had snow for one day!
Hello everybody!
It does feel nice out there...heat wave....
I just found this site. How many eggs are in the nest and when are they due? Iknow it's been freezing there, is the mama o.k.? thanks
Mits, sorry about the gutter....that stinks. I'm holding my breath here.
Judy, there are 2 eggs in the nest. Both parents are great! It will be about a month before they hatch. We think maybe one egg is not viable and the other is.
Thanks Sharon, I'll be watching from now on!!
Keep watching.
CRC eaglet is one week old today!
OK, so Steve agrees :)
folks--when was the fourth egg laid?
Got it--February 14th, last sunday...
Feb 13 in the afternoon, Steve.
Paula sent me an email that said the 14th??
Oh, ok, I was reading back on the blog and seeing people comment about it on the 13th sometime between 1:30 and 2:30 pm that she was seen laying an egg.
If you have friended Robyn on FB, take a look at her in her uniform from her previous life as a police officer!
Thanks for the thread, Steve.
Thanks for the WV Magazine, Norma.
Thanks for the IWS info, Paula.
I've got to take care of some other business...
Talk to you all later. Have a great weekend.
C(°ٿ°)D
Jim
Thanks for the fresh page - I have been lolly gagging all afternoon. I'll check out Robyn.
Yep Steve, we are praying for hatches of little fuzz ball(s?) around March 16 thru the 20th!
I have 2/13 at 2:45 for the last egg.....Judy's list has same date, time of 2:42........
OK. We'll change to the 13th on Monday...
Reading back, looks like it was maybe a little later....Paula confirmed 2 eggs showing at 4:19, but Mimi witnessed it being layed at 2:42 our time.
My grandson says he saw it at appx. 2:33pm on 2-13-19. Not exact, but thereabouts. He had been watching for a good while before the egg came.
Paula, do I have your permission to post your video of I FEEL LIKE FLAPPING? I found it earlier today.
Hello folks,
I'm still at school ,but will be leaving soon. I want you to know that Rus did go to the doctor and he has a pulled muscle, so all is well.
Haven't talked with him yet, just got a short text message.
BBL--Have to get ready to go home.
Welcome Judy!!
Daisy and I had a semi- nice walk. The snow is still very deep in some places and even worse to walk in now. Funny thing...I turned my back for just a moment and poof Daisy was gone....oh dear. LOL!
We heard a barred owl!!! First time I ever heard one during the day!
Shirley that is GREAT news!!! I am so relieved that he went to the Dr. No one should EVER hake a chance with any kind of chest pain.
oh yeah, while we were out in the field, I heard a CRASH and sure enough one of the gutters on the opposite side of the house from our part caved and took the downspout with it...
STEVE: For the record the 13th Feb was Saturday
good news for Rus, sort of, hope he gets some meds for the pain
that is a great picture of Robyn on FB, thanks for the alert , Lynn
welcome, Judy:)
I was just noticing the day of the week that Belle laid eggs.... It was a Tues, Sat, Tues, Sat. She must have been hatched as a Libra - such regularity!
lol
and welcome to the gutter less club Lynne:(, I knew it was going to go, but was hoping nonetheless.
Shirley, tell Rus thank you from the momsters! Better safe than sorry!! Relieved that it was NOT serious.
Shirley I am sure you are relieved that Rus went to the Dr and got the report he did.
Hello Judy - I never know how to politely ask Where do you hail from??
I never ask 'how old'!
Lynne, is that your story and you are sticking with it?
Jo, careful how you use the term "lolly gagging". lol

Robyn did look great in uniform!
Real professional! I think her school winds down the end of Feb. Miss her but know she is busy!
Lynne, I gather that Daisy returned when called! Glad you had fun----and really glad you weren't near the crashing gutter and downspout!
Sounds like guttering businesses are fixin' to get a boatload of business!
Yes February 13 was Saturday and it was a great birthday for a certain little girl I know! :)

I'm sorry Lolly, that was out of line.
Misty today, rain coming tomorrow and more on Sunday. Then Monday more rain or possible SNOW. We are not going to forget this winter.
No, it wasn't! I ranted and so can you.
Just typed a whole paragraph and then decided no, I should not put that on here.

OK Lolly.
OMG Jack is becoming a curling fan. We have learned how they score. It is like Bocce on ice. lol
I miss the eagles...going to try to bring up the camera again and hope my computer doesn't throw a hissy.

I feel fortunate to have intact gutters!
heading home...IT'S FRIDAY!!!
Beautiful upclose picture of the NBG eagle
Aww they pulled the cam back
Lolly, I thought maybe it was a business function that Joey was hosting.
I am thankful it is friday! Looking forward to staying up late to watch the olympics tonight
Hi everyone! You're a tough bunch to catch up with!
Lynn, never pinched my finger on a faucet, but give me big tongs and it's more than a blood blister - it's a cut. Ouch!!
Lolly, my Jim's birthday is Sunday too, may I send him to Joe's party? Our youngest's b-day is Tuesday. I'm trying to find them both a good home. ☺☺
I"m suffering from "cabin fever" for sure! With 2 feet of snow still on my garden I won't see my Snowdrops until May! My avatar is last year's.
supper, bblater
Oh..I forgot, I saw not one, but a family of Robins today! Maybe spring will come regardless of the snow
Belle has her head tucked back...
Ouch for sure, Diann. Sorry.
Your flowers are pretty, along with all the others being used for avatars.
Wish the robins would show here!!

Question....how does one ever take that first ski jump? No way, Jose!
Darn.
Going to watch the Olympics for now.
...later
I guess TH will get another egg tomorrow or Sunday.
Off to work on slides!
The West End nest is back on at www.IWS.org.Wray (f) was on the nest, now 01 (m) is there
whoa Wray just arrived!
Lolly, I found 3 more slides that should have gone into my earlier show....since I haven't yet figured out how to burn it to a disc, added them a little while ago.
Yep...I would say you all will have plenty of food!! Sounds tasty.
Putting some interesting pics from the last blizzard on my blog. Should be ready soon if the upload goes alright.
Lolly - what is marinated cheese? Sounds like a great partay!
Wow, just getting on...
see I have lots to read.
Glad to see that Shirley's Rus has been checked, it's not cardiac, it's muscular !
Hello everyone
It's weird to drive at night when the fog line is buried, and familiar landmarks are obscured by very tall snowbanks
but I managed to make it home despite all that ☺
I just checked the Wonderful WV site and see the March Magazine is not up yet, which surprises me a little but maybe they want the home subscribers to see things first ☺
buzzing through a few sets of comments I did not see whether Steve commented on seeing the Magazine yet or not, and I didn't receive a reply email. It would have been neat if he, and guru John, and NU had been mentioned in the article. There is mention of "When Eagles Dream" and how to get a copy of that through Friends of NCTC. I know it is available on line through the live link, but it would be nice if the readers decide to BUY it instead
Okay, pics are up. Can't get text to line up right, but you'll get the picture (ha, ha!).
There is only ONE picture with the article that is confirmed one of our Royal Pair and the nest and the tree. There is one picture of an eagle on the first page of the article but it is not identified.
Of course, Liberty and Belle are not referred to by those names! They are mentioned as "a few years ago a pair of young bald eagles decided that this particular sycamore...was the perfect tree in which to build a nest."
AMEN I say to that !
If you buy it, you can watch it anytime :) On a bigger screen :)
Margy - Trying to find out info about the Maine forum....
Sorry Jim! Was just kidding with you...♥
Hedgie - that is one huge icicle!! OMG!
I would be interested in the back up link Paula... thanks !
and Yes, I agree, buy the DVD and watch it anytime! And I only have a little 19 inch old fashioned television ! ☺
(I got the DVD as a gift, I was lucky)
Egg turning and a wiggle wiggle!
Hedgie and Norma
I think it is great how you are circulating the info and collecting names...
I hope to read that Norma got her copy in the mail today...
I think there are some local places here to get the magazine...
I will try to check that out if you want xo
I had a feeling I was going to miss that Sharon, I saw a quick egg check when I first signed on...
Cool pictures, Lynn
I have seen some shots I wanted to get but no place to stop and do it !
Oh, I saw a beautiful male pileated woodpecker today, that was another shot I couldn't stop for
another egg check and eggs in view
I had emailed Steve on the 15th that it seemed another egg had been laid on the 13th and it appeared the adults were roosting on two...
maybe he did not get that email
and it has been hard to keep up with the egg count
I have returned from a family evening.
I have the other Main Forum - but I sure miss the old one - well not old but the one I am used to that covers all the nest sites.
Wonderful pics Hedgie - so glad you knocked that biggy down.
The moon is really bright up there in the sky!
I'm saying I have the other MAINE forum.... but it's not the main one that I want.
Paula were you able to contact Judy B
to get your info concerning the ME Forum?
WHOO HOO! I just clicked on my Maine Forum and WHOOSH it is up and I can sign in
Paula and Margy try your link.
Hey Margy, I'm sure you know this, but just in case, this was in my email-
DOUBLE FLYBY ALERT: Space shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to undock from the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday, Feb.
Yes Ma'am Jo
Whoosh it is up here too ! Thanks
Will go back and check some things in a few.
Sure bet you enjoyed Cracker Barrel !
daggone I did not bookmark that Judie's link you posted a day or so ago, Jo but I will find it and do it too !
Sorry about the gutter crashing at Lynne's and Mits's - saw some of that today on my travels...
Wow - 92-degrees in Megan's greenhouse...
I, too, love the aromas in a greenhouse...nothing like the smell of dirt and things growing !
And that whatever that ONE THING is that the other mother is bringing, is very spectacular !
but it can't touch what you are taking Lolly
Hey by the way! I caught that comment "But your parking lot was plowed." Yeah, I guess that was one of the reasons. Sigh
Being 58 doesn't help much either, but it would have been fun to pretend otherwise ☺
Lynne
Barred owl?
I think, a couple of months....might have my memory confused on the date...sorry if I do Paula
NO Megan I did not know!
I have been checking the ISS site to see but not for a couple of days.
I saw the last shuttle and ISS do a double flyby and it was spectacular! If the skies are as clear as they were tonight, this will be super! Thanks !!!!
I will get up before 5:45 in the morning to see it!
Oh boy, I love this kind of stuff!
Hmmmm....tracker says BOTH will be visible early each morning through Weds....??????
No, forget that, it is SUNDAY at 5:45 - won't be very high, but I'll try to see it. Wish I had noticed it was going to be out this morning !
Feb 22 and 24 look like the best sights coming up!
early morning...
Wonder if Wanda and family got out for Crab Legs tonight ???
gonna go check Maine Forum and a few other things....
so many links, so little time
Jo, yes, the prayers are pumped up for the Germany Gang !
ttfn
man oh man I can yack up a storm
I am a little confused about the ISS-Endeavor sightings if the landing is Sunday...can I be lazy and have someone straighten me out on that ? pls and thx
Yak away- oh, and thanks very much:)
Nite all, gonna go finish watching the olympics in a more comfortable chair.
Sorry, spaceweather .com is where the info comes from.
OK - USPS Rocks !
enjoy the comfortable chair !!
xo
no problem thanks for the double flyby alerts, I'll check the other links later ☺
I am going to head either down the hallway or for more Olympics.
Maine forum is really great. I can tell it must have been down since the 15th. I am sure they'll getit up-to-date tomorrow.
Going to say Good Night All
Prayers for All
(((hugs))) ♥ ♥ ♥
Satellite tracker wrong. NASA email confirms Sun. evening touchdown, so only time the two can be seen together will be Sun. AM!! Cornfusing, for sure.
So, flyover Sun. 5:45 AM and landing Sun. night at 10:16 PM.
I'm missing Bev...wonder if she is still fussing with the Virus alerts she mentioned about
Checked Maine Forum...some things do not seem updated, like TH egglet for example
Almost bedtime here...
better say
Good Night
and
God Bless Us, Every One
See you nice people in the morning
xo ☺ ♥
Well Jo said what I was wondering about with the Maine Forum, thanks Jo, and thanks Hedgie for the Landing update
Never go without an answer on here !
Jo, yep, I we read the book. Frankly, I have been rather disappointed in almost all of the movies.....The Notebook and Message in a Bottle were the only ones I really liked and that was probably because of the cast. Costner/Newman in the former, and Garner/Rowlands in the latter.
Bath time here....then I will do some fast-forwarding and watch some skating.
So goodnight dear friends. Prayers for all.
Hi, Gang,
Made it to the desert house and back OK.
Maine just whooshed for me too!
Just looked back - it was bev. who said she didn't just lay an egg did she so she was watching too.
☺

Morning, all!
Just happened to catch a segment on the Today show. There is an animal sanctuary on Grouse Mountain, right there at the Olympics.
They had a bald eagle on the show! His name was Liberty! He was gorgeous! He flapped his wings while on his trainers hand right before the segment ended. Really cool!
I think that eye dr put someone elses eye in my left eye. It sure doesn't work as good as it did before surgery.
Try to figure out what part of left foot or ankle I need to wrap.
We didn't get the "Notebook Ending" as we talked about when Ed watched the movie with me.
I loved the pics Hedgie.
Maybe I'll find that WV mag. somewhere.
Am starting to laugh a little bit more at the dumb things I do. More to come in laughter I'm praying. ( :
Margy so glad James was able to go to DQ and GW.
No magazine yet MARGY!---not worrying---My daily CHARLESTON GAZETTE paper is always late--have faith!!
I see 2 pretty eggs Oh Lord suprise us and let there be 2 little eaglets.

Looks like some fresh flush was brought in, eagle is tucking it in.
And Norma maybe someday I'll get a laptop. ( :
Good Morning Everyone in Eagleland! Don't think I ever got on here last night. Got home late, fell asleep in chair watching Olympics after dinner.
See it's confirmed that the last egg was #4.I was at work that day & missed it. Altho the well was probably pretty clear of snow, I hope it wasn't too wet. Has she ever laid 4 in one clutch before?
Gotta get coffee~~~~
She/he is pulling lots of fluff around in close.
DANA!---I know how hard it is to begin living alone when one has not been used to doing it---Have faith!---will pray it doesn't take you too long!---REMEMBER--LAUGH & THE WORLD LAUGHS WITH YOU.........
Good Morning Loretta. Not that I recall but since Hidey hide so well I still don't think it has happened before. Others can give their opinion and LOL I'll change my mind tee heee

WHOA! PAULA ---you are always one step ahead of me!!---ho!
Lib and Belle have certainly found some fluff somewhere! :)
Another eagle just came in with more fluff.
Well, may have been some food in that fluff. She picked it back up and flew off with it.
2 clouded leopard cams
PAULA---Wish I had seen the EAGLE at the OLYMPICS!---SO COOL!
Good a.m. everyone, think I just missed a feeding of the baby clouded cubs, 2 cams at that site, both at the Smithsonian CRC at Front Royal VA

Good morning!
Mits and Lynne - sorry about the gutters. At least no one was injured.
Jo, couldn't believe you tried to gag Lolly. Have you heard from Germany?
First learned about curling reading The Cat Who books by Lillian Jackson Braun.
Shirley, glad Russ is okay.
Lolly, happy birthday to sil and know the party will be a HUGE success -- especially with you preparing food.
Diann, isn't it fun when pretend becomes real?
Lynn, have a nice day out.
Margy, hope James is all better very quickly.
Paula, hope your day at Mom's with brother will be enjoyable.
Hi to Andy, Sharon, Norma, and Jim.
Okay, think I've out-talked Margy.
BBL - much later
Dana - We've had plenty of lookers, but no offers yet.
Alexander Haig died.
LOL, that was a pitiful cry!
Split coming!
Lib is back with a nice sized stick
