well the eagle at TH is back on nest, not sure about it, if anything was happening, cause I was asleep for awhile too
Hi Bob - we've been asking about you, good to see you, and hope is well...love to Doris too. come back in the daytime. It appears the our eagles are roosting on two eggs, out of the four that were laid the other two, are maybe deep down in the nest somewhere Good Night, now...xo ♥
Just a quick check in...went to the Mount bball game, great outcome, crushed their opponent.
So I turn around and look and look, and finally I see Kevin and Annie behind me! Nice hugs and some quick chit chat, nice to see them. They weren't supposed to be there tonight, but there other plans got changed, so they came to the Mount for the game...glad they got to see the game.
Wanda - I'm so sorry I forgot to post that it is definitely alright to post any link to any video of mine. They are on youtube for all to view any time they like! Sorry I forgot to answer you the other night!

Hi, Mits. Weather report worrying.....wish Belle had an umbrella...:( Do the kids have a babysitter or does Annie's mother stay with the little ones? Check out my FB Wall post from last night!!
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!--MARGY--CRUNCH--RAGDOLL--PAULA--MITS & HEDGIE!!---It is a beautiful blue sky morning!--Let us all SMILE & ENJOY the DAY!--LIFE IS GOOD!
MITS---That is wonderful your grand-kids live so close to their GRANDMOTHER!!---Do you get to babysit?---Would give an arm & a leg if mine lived closer!!
Helen - was nice to see Kevin and Annie, they looke like they were having a good time!
My arms and legs are tired today! My brother and I got Mom's driveway shoveled out, didn't do the deck. Did some vacuuming and sweeping inside. Going down next weekend to do the deck and clean the floors inside.
Good Morning everyone! It is going to be a sunny Sunday. Robin is out in the snow covered yard and you would believe he is pecking at the snow in hopes of finding a worm. I guess Bev is already where the eagles are at the river! I sure hope she gets to see some swooping down and catching a fish. I saw that once down at the Dam but he came up short without a fish.
Sharon is on her way to Charleston or Scott Depot to be precise. Me and the dogs are just hanging getting a few things done around the house. I plan on watching a good movie later. Any suggestions?
Morning Everyone! I had to check 'puter to see what day it is! DUH Sunny here again & we're having a snow melt which is good and will hopefully prevent flooding. Have a great day....
Those are egg 3 and 4...we don't think 3 is viable, laid in a snowstorm, left unattended for some long periods...check my blog for the video of the egg laying.
Sorry to report that Sassy, the little hummingbird, didn't make it. She had respiratory problems. They were feeding her every 15 minutes with a special formula, but there wasn't much they could do about the respiratory issues. :(
I got to sleep in. WOW. Felt good. I don't know what to do with myself. No basement work today. House is all cleaned up. See what a week off from school does for you. Drains the heck out of you. But gratifying. Starting tomorrow I have to get up at 5:30 again. I have to go to work to get some rest. Maybe I can relax during spring vacation.
One eagle on nest. Can't tell if it's Lib or Belle.
Sunny here, temp. is 40. I think I will get into real clothes today (instead of sweats) and enjoy the outdoors. Life is good.
Paula I was thinking of Sassy a little while ago. Sorry to hear she did not make it. Megan I have been wanting to tell you that our maternal grandfather worked for the city. We would go to pick him up from the green house and the smell was wonderful. Helen was only 6 weeks old when he died suddenly. Oops afternoon everyone
Was outside checking what I could see in plant beds. Some of snow is off azaleas and showing some broken branches. Boo! Guess I'll be trimming in places I didn't want to. Several large patches of grass showing & the robins are having a field day. Many flocks have been around, but they were going to neighbor's holly tree. Maybe they'll find some thawed out worms now. So sorry about baby Sassy. Nature can be so cruel. I might get a St. Francis statue for my deck. Will try anything to help.
Well, Carolyn showed up to get her share of the Sams' Club loot, and had Jennifer with her. They got my trash all out for me, since they are SUPPOSED to come tomorrow! So now i need to catch up with you all again!
Normabyrd, Magpie, and Ceil thank you for sharing the places I can go to see and learn about pandas. I would like to see a pic of Tai Shan.
Stronghunter, I can relate with you on losing your glasses. I have some nice reading glasses. Prescriptions. I lost them for a month and a half. Just when I was giving up looking and considering to replace them. They showed up. Friends of our where here for dinner. They drop in a lot. She wears reading glassed also. Her are the kind you buy in the store. Well, the went to China and when they came back I ask if she happened to mistake them as hers and if she could check her stash. She had alot of cheap ones from the store. No luck! Then one day they were here and lord and behold, there they were. On top of her head. She said "no, this is my favorite pair. Mine were "Flexons". I show her the case which read "Flexons". She was shocked and I was very happy to get my reading glasses back. She then went to her eye Dr. and got a pair just like mine only with her own prescription. We still laugh about it and its been 3 years.
Found some minor damage on far side of house....ice dam on roof edge (no gutter on that side) came down and broke the large piece of lattice that served as a gate in the fence to the dog yard. Too much snow and ice for her to get there and slip out....but Bill will get a new section this week.
Just found a living, crawling stink bug in sunroom....yuck!
Hedgie, watch that ice on the roof. Here in Maine we get ice built up on the roof. Sometime 8-10 inches thick. When the sun starts to melt, it can't get through the thick ice and will back up and come down in your walls. Happened last year to me in my upstairs bathroom. Our insurance covered the damage. We now have gutters both front and back. Even with gutters it can sometimes still happens
Ragdoll if you go to fonz(Friends of the National Zoo) they have an article on Tai Shan. They is live cam to see his mom and dad and San Diego zoo has a few pandas and cams
Thanks, Ragdoll. Luckily, I have quite extensive overhangs.....about 2 ft. No "ceilings" to hide anything---I have a log home, and Cathedral ceiling is all wood. Luckily, too, new roof two years ago.
Good afternoon everyone...Had a busy day cleaning. I stoped in to chatch up and now off to hear my daughter sing via webcast. Sometime technology is fantastic!
I see what Steve meant about correcting the egg info...he has it posted on outdoor channel as feb 14 for the 4th egg...he said he will correct on Monday.
Hellooooo All! Paula, glad to see you are having warmer temps. we were supposed to have rain today, but instead we have 72 and blue sky!!! lol It is warmer outside than inside. Have to the door open to try to get the warmer air in. However, poor Laurel got the rain this morning.
Party last night was a great success. There were a lot of people there! Did not get home until 2:30!!!!! Will just say this, Joey's mother brought in one dish, set it on the table then put her body in a chair. Not one word about helping Laurel. She left sometime without lifting one finger. Jack carried out trash a couple of times when asked by me. I started the clean up...it was me, Laurel and a friend of Laurel's who was here from Austin. We had fun cleaning up...talking and laughing, but it was oh, so late and then we had an hour drive home,. I was NOT going to leave and let her do such a big job.
Jack went out and bought a new computer. I will not say a thing. ahem!!! Here what I need. I need everyone to send me an email so I have your email address. Have added a few from some mail that went out today. Hopefully, Mike our computer geek (Used to work for Jack) will be able to recover our hard drive. Need my pictures and address book!!!!!!!
Went out and took pictures of daffodils. It did get to 72 today, so nice. However, it is already down to 55. Have snow in the prediction for Tuesday. NO!NO! NO!
Ahhh Dr Zhivago, my favorite movie. Love the daffodils! And, at Hawkwood I have posted 4 pic of my Daffodils. Guess they will be surrounded by snow Tues. Sigh!
Yes, Paula, I am expecting an egg at TH tonight. Plan to monitor it closely.
Good Evening everyone... Took Dustin home, visited with GG, and finally went to Best Buy and brought home my new computer:) I guess it will be a while before we get it hookd up. In case you all haven't looked it up yet, PAULA'S video "I FEEL LIKE FLAPPING" is posted on MY WILD AND WONDERFUL...take the time to look at it, it is so cute. It is from 2 years ago and the chicks are PEARL, MIDDY AND TINY. ENJOY!
I remember reading "Dr. Zhivago" when it was first published in the West... It was very controversial with the Russians if you recall.
Then I saw the movie several times when that was released ... I really liked it, and they kept it running for months locally. I've seen it on cable a couple of times too. It's one of the great ones.
I also love the Hollywood (never thought I would say that) version of War and Peace, with Henry Fonda and Audrey Hepburn. It's a masterpiece in its own right, AND it gives you as excellent an idea of the book as it could in a short version movie.
Shuttle landing is up in the air---figuratively speaking. Bad weather in both FL and CA may force delay until Tues. Minute-by-minute thing....will let you know as soon as they post update.
Trying hard to concentrate on the assignments for my class. I really wanted to get started this morning, but can't do an online class when I can't get online.
I think this one is going to be more demanding than the other two I did. There is a whole list of rules about posting comments. I need to get on and post something tonight because one rule is that you need to post early so others have time to respond. But I also have to sound knowledgable about the assigned readings--so I'll BBL.
It's dark out and the moon is gorgeous I have been out and about in the sunshine most of the day. It was 47° - 49° out there. Had dinner at Red Lobster with Jenny & Jim and now getting caught up with emails and the such. Going to watch another Hallmark tonight. I have been talking with Heather and she keeps me up-to-date with their wedding plans. Everything is coming together for May 23. It'll be here before you know it. We should have a fledging in and about that date!
What did you get at Red Lobster, Jo?? I had lobster tail, shrimp scampi, and some kind of shrimp on skewers; served with yummy little potatoes w/ parmesian.
Finished my assignment for tonight. Now I have to remember to log in and comment on another day. That's on the list. Gotta keep going back and see what is there and write some more stuff.
One of the members of the class is considering having students research an infamous crime. Judie should approve of that one.
Had a nice lunch out with a friend of ours. Lovely day of sunshine and the sound of melting s___.
Then completed an exam for crime class.
Was unable to access Mozilla or IE until a few minutes ago. Have no clue why I keep getting shut out. Finally able to get to the blog so have been trying to catch up. Sounds as if everyone had a nice day and most all are anticipating another egg at TH. I am so sorry about Sassy.
Think I'll try to get a few minutes of quiet time and be back later to say goodnight.
Didn't go to Red Lobster tonight. Maybe I should have. I fixed one of those prepared skillet dinners that was supposed to have shrimp. There was one measly shrimp in there! It was a good thing I had a bag of frozen shrimp. I'd planned to add a few just to make the dinner more meaty. I ended up emptying the whole bag of shrimp into the skillet.
Ah Shirley, yes I do approve of researching an infamous crime. However, I would assign a crime that is infamous but not recent and would perhaps assign a crime committed by a female. Much more challenging.
Sounds bountiful shrimpy Shirley. I had the coconut shrimp but they were deep fried to deeply! I like Out Back shrimp best. But I did have my fill of the cheesy biscuits.
Hi Bob! Glad you are here. Any really good need sites you have found recently?
In all my travels today I have noticed that all the piles of snow are getting a bit shorter. If we get some rain with warm temps, I hope it all disappears.
Judie--this man teaches criminal justice at a high school. Interesting subject for a high school. I had not heard of that course on the high school level.
We're designing WebQuests. It would be challenging to focus on female criminals. Not sure what this teacher has in mind.
Dr. Z is one of my favorites! With Omar Sharif and Julie Christy of course. The was another one made years back that was a little less Hollywood, but very good as well.
Congrats on the new computer Lolly! And thank God Laurel has such a compassionate mom!
We almost went to Red Lobster today but switched gears. Took Daisy for another long walk...got some pictures that I'll post later on. We just stayed in bed late and relaxed today.
Glad to see Crunch Bob checking in!
My mother in law called today...her husband fell yesterday outside and couldn't get up. She had to get him up herself. Right after that a chunk of ice fell off the house and sliced his hand.
Wanda, hope GG is well, and congrats on YOUR new computer too!
Bath and bed time for me. Prayers for all and see you tomorrow!
Oh No, we are not to split tonight, because we just THREADED ☺ but those are good numbers to know about, it took me quite some time to figure it out, and then, there is WAX.....that's a whole new numbering system.. ok - GO !

MET PAULA
Switcharoo - Belle's out, Lib's In
Don't get discouraged, Paula. Winter is the worst time for selling. Spring will be here soon, and that's always a good time!

Good morning my fine eagle momsters and dadsters.
Sharon is on her way to Charleston or Scott Depot to be precise. Me and the dogs are just hanging getting a few things done around the house. I plan on watching a good movie later.

Lynn I just e-mailed the Mayor to tell her thanks. Last week I was making signs that said remember the snow to had out at election time
Too bad about Sassy. They did all they could for her. RIP little hummer.

Lynn her name is Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Her dad was in politics and he was well liked. All you want is an honest person.
Hubby and I are going out. Have to get out of this house. (cabin fever)
Have a fun afternoon!!!!see you later. ^..^
Ragdoll if you go to fonz(Friends of the National Zoo) they have an article on Tai Shan. They is live cam to see his mom and dad and San Diego zoo has a few pandas and cams
Ragdoll I meant to say there is a live cam of the pandas. I checked and they are having problems with the some of the cams.
Off to do some chores
Thelma, enjoyed looking at your pics on FB!
Eagle flew in, eagle on eggs flew out.
Thank you Hedgie.
Thanks, Ragdoll. Luckily, I have quite extensive overhangs.....about 2 ft. No "ceilings" to hide anything---I have a log home, and Cathedral ceiling is all wood. Luckily, too, new roof two years ago.

I give up! must be too excited BBL
Hi!
We have been without Internet today. Been reading the messages.
Has been a sunny day, but clouding up now.
Phyrly - yes technology is great for those kind of things.
Looks like Belle on the eggs.
Was out throwing the tennis balls for the dogs...great day outside, my temp gauge says 54°
I see what Steve meant about correcting the egg info...he has it posted on outdoor channel as feb 14 for the 4th egg...he said he will correct on Monday.

Okay, got that off my chest! Grrrrr!
Watching TH. Saw her roll the egg/eggs? The egg cup is too deep to see anything.
If I was an eagle, I would like my nest where the TH nest is located. But, was wondering if they have to watch for more 4 legged critters. ?????
Hi everyone! Happy Sunday to all.
The b-day boys are out to eat at their favorite steak house and I have the house to myself! Hooray!
I'm not staying, but wanted to check in and let you all know that I'm looking in at all the cams and saw a Harrisburg falcon too.
Now, "Doctor Zhivago" is coming on TMC and I have the remote!!! Yipee. I'll also be checking the Olympics.
So much to see, so little time. Wish I have Tvo or DVR or something to record some of this.
Have a great day and I'll try to get back later.
God bless!
Finished Carolyn's taxes....now trying to file electronically....running into some kind of delay....on hold on phone....argh!!!!
Lolly, only 1 egg at TH
WE cam is also back on again
Well .......... GooD day, everybody.
It's developing into a pretty good Sunday in So Cal.
Around 60° and overcast-sunny. Not bad for the dead of Winter.
How's everybody back East?

Jack went out and bought a new computer. I will not say a thing. ahem!!! Here what I need. I need everyone to send me an email so I have your email address. Have added a few from some mail that went out today. Hopefully, Mike our computer geek (Used to work for Jack) will be able to recover our hard drive. Need my pictures and address book!!!!!!!
Enjoy your new computer, Lolly. I have sent you my address.
Eagle eating in our nest, 2 eggs in view
Lib just flew in to incubate
goosey goosey
Thanks, Shirley.
TH eagle just calling out after rolling egg. Whoops, 82 just arrived. 81 wanted out of there!
Went out and took pictures of daffodils. It did get to 72 today, so nice. However, it is already down to 55. Have snow in the prediction for Tuesday. NO!NO! NO!
calling out by both...Lib flew off
Hi Lolly and Jim. Guess Diann is wrapped up with the Dr.!! LOL!
Favorite movie of mine, too.
Lolly and Jim, you both have email!
Cooling rapidly here now that sun has set....but was quite pleasant this afternoon.
Tamales for dinner....almost ready. BBL.
Lolly, just as you get snow, we get snow, LOL. Some possibly for tomorrow, but may be freezing rain instead :(
Maybe more later in the week.
Geese flying by again, Belle wiggled onto the eggs.
Sure would be nice to TH to have a second egg tonight
Oh and LOlly, I know what you mean about those people that just lay around and don't help! Frustrating sometimes...
Diann - I watch Dr Zhivago about a month ago, the whole thing. It had been a long while since I had seen it, such a good movie!
Lib just landed up above the nest, Belle was checking him out :)
I see spidey webs!
Saw a fly outside at my Mom's yesterday! Oh, and more dead stink bugs inside...
P.S. 4 deer in back in the snow, and 4 in the driveway, where they are probably finding acorns!!
Oh, I would love to have deer. But, then, they would be worse than armadillos! lol
ENJOY!
No snow on the Oregon cam...I think they changed the view with the new cam...today was first time I could get it on.
OK, Wanda, what did you get?
Nice flower pics Lolly,
Nice pics too, Margy!

101 viewers at TH, guess a lot of other eagleholics are looking for that second egg too, LOL
You all watch the eagles for me!
That was a big bird that they brought in to TH.
Guess I will go prepare dinner while they dine on that bird.☺
nice bird for dinner at th
It's dark out and the moon is gorgeous
I have been out and about in the sunshine most of the day.
We can all go to Heather's reception and then go watch the baby Palmer:)
Paula, I go an HP with windows 7.
No bells and whistles. Plenty of memory.
Good evening, everyone.
Hi Crunch Bob. How is Doris?
Ah Shirley, yes I do approve of researching an infamous crime. However, I would assign a crime that is infamous but not recent and would perhaps assign a crime committed by a female. Much more challenging.
2 beautiful eagles out at Hornby Island, it is foggy there.
We are all OK. You know there is a split
Oh the feathers are flying everywhere at TH...
Wanda - HP is a good choice
for your computer, I mean!
Sounds bountiful shrimpy Shirley.
I had the coconut shrimp but they were
deep fried to deeply! I like Out Back
shrimp best. But I did have my fill of
the cheesy biscuits.
Jo
I think you have them. There was a SPLIT at 7:53
Good evening everyone!
Yes, Wanda, congrats! Enjoy!
I almost forgot...
Please say a little prayer for Steve tonight. He's very tired, and feeling a bit blue and discouraged.
Thanks
Did you all now there is a New Thread
Prayers of course, Lynne, just read your comment, have to go back and read the rest
GO TO THE NEW THREAD ☺
Bob - We won't SPLIT until we hit 200 count. 43 more to go. It is at 200,
400, 600 and sometimes 800 or on and on.
Jo, I guess Crunch meant there's a new thread. I was confused, too.
Oh No, we are not to split tonight,
because we just THREADED ☺
but those are good numbers to know about, it took me quite some time to figure it out, and then, there is WAX.....that's a whole new numbering system..
ok - GO !
FL weather good now. Shuttle touchdown on schedule for 10:20pm EST.
