Okay, if we are assigning job duties to our new property, guess I'll just have to reactivate my license and be the nurse!
PixPA certainly IS active and noisy. I haven't had turkeys here in a long time. Infact, I haven't had ANY birds at all in the last week or so----think someone must have put out a really yummy feeder somewhere nearby that they like better than my corn!
Today Cloudy. Snow likely...mainly this afternoon. Snow accumulation around an inch. Highs in the upper 30s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60 percent.
Tonight Cloudy. Snow likely...mainly in the evening. Total snow accumulation around an inch. Lows in the mid 20s. Southeast winds around 5 mph in the evening...becoming light and variable. Chance of snow 70 percent. amen;)
She looked like she was still hungry, so she's either gone to the 7-11, or she's headed to Home Depot for more materials. [I almost said "to the lumber yard", which shows you how old I am.]
Good Ground Hog Day everyone....silly ground hog. I don't care what he says. Meteorological Spring begins on March 1...we are in the "winter" of winter!
Loved the Harley video....and I'm glad to know the chihuahua in the ad preceding it is an "optimal pooper". We should all be so lucky.
Wish me luck....Daisy Mae has her first vet appt. today! It's here "post adoption" vet visit, but I think she is ailing a bit. She's been unusually quite and less active for the last 2 days which is NOT like her at all. She's eating, and seems OK on her walks...can't quite put my finger on it.
Boy, the NBG nest looks in really good shape...I love the way they build up the edges, helps protect parent from all the nasty wind while incubating as well
A little chihuahua who alerted his owner to a fire in his semi cab over the weekend at a Frederick-area rest area passed away from smoke inhalation Sunday. He had been receiving oxygen therapy at a veterinary clinic, but it was too late. :(
Two weeks before Donna died, she fell asleep with a cigarette and her oxygen going (I know). It caught the rug on fire and Buddy the Bassett woke her up by beating himself against the front door. I am so grateful that she didn't go that way for sure!
Good morning! Watched our eagles in the nest while reading the paper. Have not figured out yet how to read the blog and the paper at the same time. Have to work on that one!
OK, can I visit you occasionally at your weekend home? I can help Megan with the landscaping and help Gene in the kitchen.
I know! Just put me in charge of a kitchen garden!!!!
Just got a morning treat! Jack and I were standing by the kitchen window when a Red Shoulder hawk flew down and landed on the ground. It picked up a stick and flew off. Left our yard though. Wish they would build in our yard again.
Just read on the blog at NBG that naming eagles is just wrong. People then think of them as pets, not wild animals. I disagree! I think all of us are intelligent enough to know Lib and Belle are not pets. I think we just enjoy having a good time and really admire these elegant wild birds.
just read on the NBG chat, that the reason there is no sound is because it is right next to the Norfolk airport, and the sounds of the jets all the time, would drown out the sound...makes sense to me;)
To those of you having problems with the feed running slowly, I have a few suggestions.
Right click on your desktop, go to properties, then settings, then advanced, then troubleshooting. Set Hardware acceleration to none...don't forget to hit the apply button.
And for those viewing in IE, I would suggest you download firefox and view the live feed in that browser.
Also, when you have the feed up and running in firefox, right click on the live feed, go to settings, and uncheck the box that says enable hardware acceleration.
Only problem I have is the full screen feature, so think I will stay where I am. Have no problem with any other cams. Everything runs great, can have several open.
I am glad Kristen is already half way home. I am going with hubby to Dr at 3:00 - right down in Middletown. He's having 1 or 2 moles removed. I'm just going in case he needs me to drive him home - Just hope I don't pick up any germs in Dr waiting room.. No other place so great of a chance to happen........
Lynne....tupperware?? Geesh! Reminds me of the time my sisters' Australian Shepherd ate a whole package of bacon, including the stiff plastic insert and packaging!
updated forecast from weatherunder ground.com for nest
Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 7 am EST Wednesday... This Afternoon Cloudy. A slight chance of snow early...then snow likely. Snow accumulation around an inch. Highs in the mid 30s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 70 percent.
Tonight Snow...mainly in the evening. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. Lows in the mid 20s. Southeast winds around 5 mph in the evening...becoming light and variable. Chance of snow 90 percent. Wednesday Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. amen;)
I just got a letter from Buddy's keepers yesterday, In essence, thanking us once again for our $222 donation and inviting us to their open house: March 7-21-28-April 11 and 25. They cared for more than 2,500 animals in 2009.
Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital. After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator. On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
'I don't know,' he said. 'She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.'
LOL, Wanda...I've seen that one before! My funniest story was when we were learning to pour meds--with a very nasty prof. In the process of handing a cup of pills to a patient, they spilled all over the sheet. Prof very snottily siad "WELL, Miss McCann, you'll have to repour those." The patient speedily gathered them and threw them into his mouth. Guess who the patient was??? My Daddy!!
Hubby decided at last minute that he didn't really need to have a chauffeur to the Dr....... Boy if he calls for me to come pick him up - He'll never live it down!
Lynn...The Lumber Yard on Eagle School Rd, is now the RESA VIII bus garage...not sure where all the lumber went or what the proprietors are up to these days
all I got from Glo's link was a big rectangle with a nice teeny tiny colorful square in the upper left corner...must have undid something somewhere...same as when I go to Paula's last HP video of a few days ago.
Have been really busy this morning working in the yard. Trimmed back my purple fountain grass, and pruned some of the rose bushes. Have a bunch of asparagus fern to trim back (Get out the machete!) when I'm finished with that.
They say we won't get rain until tomorrow now. Our gardener had a chance to do the yard earlier today--that's a good thing!
Looks like we're in for 6 more weeks of winter. You guys back east ready for that? Hope it doesn't include TOO much snow!
Kinda grubby now, so need to go take a quick shower. Have school again tonight.
Lynne, hope Daisy is OK. Am sure the vet will check her out carefully. Hope no big pieces of Tupperware in her tummy! Gosh, you wouldn't BELIEVE what my Sis-in-law's bulldogs have chewed up and eaten! They're unbelievable. In any case, will be saying prayers for Daisy for a good vet report! Better head for the shower--gotta do some damage control. Got my dirt manicure today, for sure! Will check back in later. Oh--BTW, am trying to decide whether or not to TiVo 'Lost'. Used to watch it, but it's gotten pretty "out there", and not sure if it's worth watching this time. Guess I'll watch tonight, and decide based on what happens (or doesn't). Have a good evening, and I'll check in after I'm home from school. Say, how is Sissy doing? Have you gone to the doctor yet, Sissy? Sure hope so! Prayers for you, too! Well, bye for now. Love all you guys! :o]
Hubby is home - safe and sound... Moles were facial area so even with the small bandages he looks like he's been in a fight! I told him that now he will be beautiful again... He said I just want to be able to shave without have to avoid those spots.
Mr Bill - it is snowing here ever so lightly.
Oh Hedgie - glad you got your new comfy executive computer chair!
Oh-ho, she is!!! thanks for update about Lumbar Yard, MArgy----you can see how much attention I pay! I go to Meadow Lane Shopping Center once every month for our breakfast. Guess I'm just watching traffic rather than down the street! Duh!
Well, we are back from the vet. Daisy did really well and loved meeting all of people and dogs that were there!
I was mortified, however, because she uh, produced some pungent gas, and was not at all quiet about expelling it. Guess she was a little nervous!
She has a very slight fever, a lot of "junk" in her urine and with her 2 days of relative lethargy, the vet put her on an antibiotic. No vaccinations today, will go back in 2 weeks for those and to have a recheck....she also has a slight heart murmur. UGH. It's only a grade I-II / VI which is very slight and she is not symptomatic in any way. Something to keep an eye on though.
We haven't started to get any snow yet and I hope it stays that way til Steve gets home! Hope Ed's home by now and that everyone else stays safe!
They have been messing around in our nest all day long....... Tell them it is time to get serious. OR maybe they know about the weekend storm and are holding off because of it.
Would it be better for Belle to lay her first egg today....before the snow gets bad so she can stay and cover and keep the snow out of the egg well it BEFORE the BIG snow on Friday/ Saturday (which I am predicting will go down in History as The Superbowl Weekend Storm of 2010, or is it too much to hope that she can hold them in til midweek next week?
That is funny. Someone on the NBG blog asked if it could zoom out farther. So, whoever is in control, instead of answeringthe question....they zoomed way out.
Shirley, regarding the starlings....we had them here, too for the last 2 days and only one other time this winter. I don't THINK they migrate, but maybe span a really wide area which is why they aren't here every day. Megan's suggestion about putting something on top of the suet feeder is great.
Saw 2 hawks on the ground eating carrion today...a Red Shoulder near us, and near the vet, a Red Tail. Where was my camera? HOME
Thank you Sharon! That was my first birth and was when you said Stick of Butter..... OK I was wondering why we couldn't keep both of them and see if they would mate.
Lynn - my dogs drop those silent bombs as well! Sometimes they are not silent! Glad to hear she did well at the vets.
My dog Boo has a heart murmer as well. I'm surprised the rescue shelter didn't know it, if they had her checked in any way, the vet should have picked up on it.
I only have vaccination records from the shelter, and I called the previous owner's vet (from RV cert info) and all they faxed was a list of things done...not any notes or anything. She had chest rads when she was just 8 weeks old, and a CBC done. My guess is that they heard it then. But my vet will have to call them and get the actual notes. I hope it's nothing. I'm so paranoid!
Oh, I have some of those thingys that need to be burned or frozen off. Have been hesitating. 5 years ago, they cost $80 for the first one and $20 for all aothers, plus a 2 or $300 consultation fee. I have 3 very noticable ones on my cheeks and many on my forhead. Scraped one off a few year ago to see if I could and it nevr came back...too chicken to do anymore. Shouldn't fool around with things like that.
Megan, go to firefox.com and click on the add ons at the top of the page, then go to plugins. Redownload the adobe flash player and you may want to do the adobe reader and java as well
Wanda!! How daring of you!! But you're right, better have the Dr do it now.
That's good to know Paula! I'm glad he's had no trouble!
Still no snow yet but the radar itself is showing that there IS snow....this phenomenon is called "virga" which means it's snowing up high but the lower air mass doesn't have enough moisture yet to support it to the ground.
I'm sure you'll all sleep better tonight know this.
Oh, and a 1-2 grade is very low on the scale. You may find that it gets graded up as she gets older. And they may suggest an xray now for comparative purposed later. I haven't done that...because there really isn't anything they can do for a heart murmur!
Thanks - I thought I remembered about the Cousin relationship.. But I think that Goo Goo for SD had something to do with that! Like Lun Lun (Mei's mom) and and Mei (Tai's mom)
I wonder if they watch who they're courting when they live out in the wild?
OK, got new video software for this computer too at work...here's this afternoon's video. Video still a little choppy, but it is what it is. Sound is much better!
My little Scrappy had a grade V-VI/VI murmur...there isn't much to be done, but he was on Enalapril to help his blood flow. His heart was very enlarged...but he was very old. About 15 or 16...chihuahua/pug mix. It can help to have rads done periodically to make sure the heart is not increasing in size and possibly and ultrasound so they can tell where and what is causing the murmur (if it were to get worse) which can help determine what medication will make life easier.

Jim, we still have a Lumber Yard here, I THINK....Wanda, Margy??? Isn't it still out there at Eagle School Rd./Meadow Lane intersection?
Shar----how's Sissy??

YUp, Harley got released..cool story
thanks, I am sure she's OK. I'll have the vet run blood and do a urine test as well.
Boy, the NBG nest looks in really good shape...I love the way they build up the edges, helps protect parent from all the nasty wind while incubating as well
I love the color there too.
Tai is interacting with Mei Xiang by the screened window
Maybe Daisy still has some quilt debris in her tummy, Lynne! Hope there isn't anything wrong!
Harley was/is a very lucky bird.
Pretty egg at NBG
A little chihuahua who alerted his owner to a fire in his semi cab over the weekend at a Frederick-area rest area passed away from smoke inhalation Sunday. He had been receiving oxygen therapy at a veterinary clinic, but it was too late. :(
Tai is just full of himself this a.m. rolling around in the snow
I just read that, Lynn
aww, poor little thing
Two weeks before Donna died, she fell asleep with a cigarette and her oxygen going (I know). It caught the rug on fire and Buddy the Bassett woke her up by beating himself against the front door. I am so grateful that she didn't go that way for sure!
yes, for sure, Sharon, good old Buddy
Tai is playing on top of his travel crate
Eagle has returned
Fooling around with that small tree that came in yesterday
Good morning! Watched our eagles in the nest while reading the paper. Have not figured out yet how to read the blog and the paper at the same time. Have to work on that one!
OK, can I visit you occasionally at your weekend home? I can help Megan with the landscaping and help Gene in the kitchen.
I know! Just put me in charge of a kitchen garden!!!!
Margy, my avatar is the NBG eagle. She was looking so grand yesterday in the nest.
Good Morning - Kristen is with me
Big discussion on daughter's wedding which now could be in May.
Need to go over on Older thread and read early am comments.....
Oh, my, Sharon, that certainly could have had tragic consequences. Yea, Buddy!
2 eagles and a fish breakfast at NBG
wow, great pic at NBG
My nephew, Brett, just posted on fb a video of my newest great nephew, Talon. He is just beautiful!!
See our eagle in the nest. Is it Belle?
Got my chair put together and in place! Thanks to Mr. Bill! Very comfortable.
yea...Mr Bill:)
Our eagles are busy again.....
They are really busy, that nest cup is looking good!
Just got a morning treat! Jack and I were standing by the kitchen window when a Red Shoulder hawk flew down and landed on the ground. It picked up a stick and flew off. Left our yard though. Wish they would build in our yard again.
Are we going to get an egg today?
would be nice, Lolly, would love to see a day time egg laying:).
train going by.
Just read on the blog at NBG that naming eagles is just wrong. People then think of them as pets, not wild animals. I disagree! I think all of us are intelligent enough to know Lib and Belle are not pets. I think we just enjoy having a good time and really admire these elegant wild birds.
Shhhh, Mits...not the T word!
NBG should be getting a second egg anytime. Hope so!
yikes, sorry, you are right not the "t" word
Once I saw an egg laying in daylight - Kent Washington nest Star was her name. Actually saw her stand up and out plopped the egg.
I have been thinking about them alot Jo, really do miss that cam
I miss the Tesoro cam. I liked how they could show the young eagles that were learning to fly.
Leaving to fix my face and hair. Yep, it is broken!
BBL
Lib back with a stick...Belle sure was fussing at him when he landed
So, Lib says to Belle. Do not care if you are about to deliver....MOVE!
He's working on the egg cup, guess he can't wait for eggs either!
BBL lol
She just took off, Lib still there
yes, miss that one too, Lolly, and I think the contact was named Lynda White, and she was always nice to reply to emails.
I miss communicating with Loraine.
yes, she was really good too:)
LOL, exactly, Lolly, too funny
Guess Belle is going for more lunch...
Eagle returns
I try to tell by their size and neck/tail feathers if it is Belle or Lib.... Sometimes I just guess from their actions
The cam shot now at NBG makes that nest look very shallow. Put up the child proof railing!
just read on the NBG chat, that the reason there is no sound is because it is right next to the Norfolk airport, and the sounds of the jets all the time, would drown out the sound...makes sense to me;)
oh nice.....we are under a winter storm warning. This morning, 1-3 inches predicted. NOW, 3-7 starting early evening.
Going to vet with Daisy who just chewed up a tupperware container. She has SEVEN different chew toys. Go figure.
Be safe everyone
Still calling for 1 to 3 inches here later this evening.
I have 3 different snow advisories here from different weather sites, anywhere fro a dusting to 6 inches...take your pick, I pick 0 inches.
winter weather warning wap
Not sure where you are Megan, but maybe too far west of me to be in the warning....but that could change! I sure hope not.
Megan - you should try my suggestions, works better here on older computer.
OK, Paula:)
Only problem I have is the full screen feature, so think I will stay where I am. Have no problem with any other cams. Everything runs great, can have several open.
Ok, Belle. Read all the snow reports. Did you read them? If you are going to lay that egg any time soon, you better protect the nest.
LOlly, yours sounds like a vista problem perhaps
May want to search microsoft on that issue if you want to try to resolve it
And for an FYI, my computer here at work has 1 gig of ram, and 2.33ghz cpu, and runs on windows 2000, was made in 2003.
With the changes I made, I can actually post to the blog and watch in firefox without the computer hanging up.
The snow is starting here...boo!
I am glad Kristen is already half way home. I am going with hubby to Dr at 3:00 - right down in Middletown. He's having 1 or 2 moles removed.
I'm just going in case he needs me to
drive him home - Just hope I don't pick up any germs in Dr waiting room..
No other place so great of a chance to happen........
Hold your breath, Jo, and do not touch anything!
Have been watch NBG while "walking". She is looking like she might pop out another egg soon. She is restless and holding her wings funny.
They are very good pre-egg laying signs.
I'll just keep my scarf over my face at the Dr. If anyone stares or asks I'll just tell them that they don't want my germs.
Eagle alert, both our nest...mantling!
Back again!
Our eagles are in the nest
Looks like Belle is eating - again.
Lunch time
poof poof and a cry!
WOW! Gone up to the branches......
There they go again Maybe we will have 4 eggs this year. LOL Good golly you two. And how much snow is in the forecast.
OMG, too funny, Belle wolfed down the fish, then flew up into the tree to escape the HP, Lib flew right up there and got her anyhow!
I see everyone else caught that too, LOL!!
Glo we have so many different weather predictions. Could be just an inch BUT
maybe 3. Guess we'll wait and see.
Just some intermittant lazy flakes....so far!
I hope they are soooooo lazy that they won't even land! lol
Lynne....tupperware?? Geesh! Reminds me of the time my sisters' Australian Shepherd ate a whole package of bacon, including the stiff plastic insert and packaging!
They're back!
Nah, I still want sound at NBG, planes or no planes
Glo, one report says possibly up to 6". Surely hoping they are worng all the way around!
Boy, those chatters at NBG haven't a clue....bunch of newbies, LOL
sounds like sleet at the nest...

ya know Eagles have this kind of weather all winter in Alaska, and they do just fine:)
can't learn if you don't ask, there has been a 1st grade class there this afternoon.
Buddy update:
Buddy
Buddy sure looks like a juvie now!
Wouldn't it be great if his training goes well that he could make an appearance at Open House 2010!
tee-hee, Buddy sounds like a problem child...good luck to Suzy.
I just got a letter from Buddy's keepers yesterday, In essence, thanking us once again for our $222 donation and inviting us to their open house: March 7-21-28-April 11 and 25.
They cared for more than 2,500 animals in 2009.
I could invite them to bring Buddy to our Open House:)
I think this was written by our LYNN:
Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
'I don't know,' he said. 'She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
that is nice about the invite, Wanda....love the hospital story too.
My Daddy!!
good for Dad:)
Yep, Mits, we were all newbies once!
Nice that you got another letter, Wanda! Boy, they let open house run a long time! Who wants to suggest to Steve that Buddy be invited to ours?
I love the story - Senior Moments I think they call it!
You go ahead and write a letter to Jay Flack (Slack ??) and Steve Chase and see if it would be ok to do the Buddy invite?
eagle calling nearby.
lets volunteer Wanda, for that;)
Buddy should be the little gentleman with 8 more months of training.
Go for it Wanda especially since the rehab center connects with your name.
rofl, Jo;)
Hubby decided at last minute that he didn't really need to have a chauffeur to the Dr....... Boy if he calls for me to come pick him up - He'll never live it down!
don't answer the phone;)
LMBO Helen! Poor Ed:)
I think it would be SUPER to have Buddy visit us. Think I could pull it off?
I could offer to pay for Ed Clark's lunch and bring some mice for Buddy:)
whose going to catch the mice;)?
I am NOT doing mice.
Mits - that is good advice! lol
I wonder if they are releasing any eagles on any of the Open House dates.
They are all Sundays I think.
Road Trip if they are!
I'll just bring fish--- no mice!
We can take a box of mice as a gift!
Plenty of mice in our wood pile:)
If Jo doesn't answer...Ed might call one of us !!
things going from bad to worse here, can't open up Glo's pics, and a few other things...
anyone have a sledehammer ??
Paula, I tried both of your suggestions.....should I expect any disability from unchecking that hardward acceleration box ?
maybe a nap will help....
xo
I won't answer him either:)
Lynn...The Lumber Yard on Eagle School Rd, is now the RESA VIII bus garage...not sure where all the lumber went or what the proprietors are up to these days
glad you got your chair all put together....
nice going, Bill....an act of l♥ve no doubt....
WCV does not speak of anythig being released. Only says:
Tours are free of charge, but reservations are required.
all I got from Glo's link was a big rectangle with a nice teeny tiny colorful square in the upper left corner...must have undid something somewhere...same as when I go to Paula's last HP video of a few days ago.
I give up for now...
TTFN xoxoxoxo
lol Mits...if Ed has any of our numbers, I think for sure he has yours ! ! !
enjoy your evening folks...
xo
OH NO, MR. BILL...SNOWING!
Hi, Everyone!
Oh--BTW,
am trying to decide whether or not to TiVo 'Lost'.
Margy - in answer to your question...nope!
I'll get Buddy some fresh fish! We can snag him one out of the Bass Pro tank!
Andy - love purple fountain grass, wish it wouldn't die off every winter around here, you have to replant it every year.
Snow is no longer intermittant lazy flakes.............steady and hard.
Hope Margy is home from her gallivanting!!
Wanda - if the mice are in your wood pile then YOU catch them...... lol
Lynn - Margy was just on here - computer giving her fits - probably taking a nap!
If it's gonna snow, then let's have a foot, I need a day off of work, LOL
Oh-ho, she is!!! thanks for update about Lumbar Yard, MArgy----you can see how much attention I pay! I go to Meadow Lane Shopping Center once every month for our breakfast. Guess I'm just watching traffic rather than down the street! Duh!
glad Ed is home safe and sound:)
Eagles!
Eagles our nest
Hope Ed's home by now and that everyone else stays safe!
snowing at nest.
We have 2 really busy eagles in the nest!
Mei Lan of Atlanta is going back to China with Tai.
What was our nickname for Mei Lan?
They have been messing around in our nest all day long....... Tell them
it is time to get serious. OR
maybe they know about the weekend storm and are holding off because of it.
Belle sees the snowflakes at the nest.
Lynne, I have dogs that drop those "bombs" on me all the time! LOL!
I see the snow coming down at the nest. Sun shining and 52 here. However, we have more rain coming tomorrow. Yuk! Yuk, to your snow, too!
Buta Buta! :(
Would it be better for Belle to lay her first egg today....before the snow gets bad so she can stay and cover and keep the snow out of the egg well it BEFORE the BIG snow on Friday/ Saturday (which I am predicting will go down in History as The Superbowl Weekend Storm of 2010, or is it too much to hope that she can hold them in til midweek next week?
Oh Sharon, aren't doggies so precious!!
Thankfully she didn't EAT the tupperware, just chewed it up. All the pieces were still on the floor.
That was my first
birth and was when you said Stick of Butter..... OK
I was wondering why we couldn't keep both of them and see if they would mate.
Snowing at the nest
Lynn - my dogs drop those silent bombs as well! Sometimes they are not silent! Glad to hear she did well at the vets.
My dog Boo has a heart murmer as well. I'm surprised the rescue shelter didn't know it, if they had her checked in any way, the vet should have picked up on it.
Looks like snow is starting to stick on the nest. I do NOT like that!
Gun shots?
I DO NOT DO MICE!
Hello everyone.
Lynn, happy you got your new chair and it's put together. Is is comfortable?
Jo, happy Ed only looks like he's been in a fight. I have to have pre-cancerous cells burned off every now and then -- blisters are not attractive.
Lynne, glad Daisy is on antibiotic and hope she improves very, very quickly.
Hi Andy, hope school is easy tonight.
Few white flakes falling here. Not heavy, yet.
Ya'll stay safe.
Big flakes coming down now.
Jo, Mits says Mei and Tai are cousins....not good for mating!
I downloaded firefox, but the cam doesn't show up on the page when I open the site with it.
Lynne - If she was born with the murmur, they would have heard it then. They heard Boo's when he was 6 wks old.
It has not caused him any problems! He is 7 1/2.
Redownload the adobe flash player and you may want to do the adobe reader and java as well
And then you have to probably uncheck that hardware acceleration again.
Okay, thanks, Paula. I will do that as soon as I finish making dinner.
Gonna take some getting used to Firefox. I notice it has spell check...
Megan, that's what I did on Firefox too, to get the cameras. It does take some getting used to.
Oh, and a 1-2 grade is very low on the scale. You may find that it gets graded up as she gets older. And they may suggest an xray now for comparative purposed later. I haven't done that...because there really isn't anything they can do for a heart murmur!
Have I told you all that
I Love Firefox
Thanks - I thought I remembered about the Cousin relationship.. But I think that Goo Goo for SD had something to do with that! Like Lun Lun (Mei's mom) and and Mei (Tai's mom)
I wonder if they watch who they're courting when they live out in the wild?
OK, got new video software for this computer too at work...here's this afternoon's video. Video still a little choppy, but it is what it is. Sound is much better!
No Escape!!
I'll try to work on some of the weekend videos tonight.
Anyone coming in to turn on the light tonight?
My little Scrappy had a grade V-VI/VI murmur...there isn't much to be done, but he was on Enalapril to help his blood flow. His heart was very enlarged...but he was very old. About 15 or 16...chihuahua/pug mix.
It can help to have rads done periodically to make sure the heart is not increasing in size and possibly and ultrasound so they can tell where and what is causing the murmur (if it were to get worse) which can help determine what medication will make life easier.
Oh, and I have been using Firefox for some things for a couple of weeks. I like it! Works much better for FaceBook, too.
Jo, recently my Firefox has been crashing...not sure why. It's been random, but at least once a day.
BBL, off to fix dinner! Still no snow!
