Hi everyone, was just catching up...funny how fast I went from excited to sad so quickly reading from where I left off to now. What a difficult day all around.
We have been shoveling all afternoon in addition to what we did this morning) and are wupped. Neighbor/landlord Kyle was able to get the plow truck unstuck, on to get it stuck again. So he went to backhoe. It's now stuck at the end of the driveway. It's a sheet of ice under all the snow. He's kicking himself in the butt now for not plowing last night. No other way out of here either....sure hope he can get it unstuck tomorrow. I have NEVER seen so much snow. Took some pics but will post tomorrow. Too tired to do it now.
Looks like everyone made it through the Great Superbowl Weekend Storm of 2010 OK so far! The effects will be long lasting I'm afraid. There is a branch on the tree next door laying on the overhead line that conducts our phone and internet....If you don't see me at some point, just assume it fell! Our actual power line is above the branch and not in danger.
Done babbling. I'm so sad for our pair, as I know all of you are as well, but of course nature is a terrible beauty as we all know.
An owl tried to invade the Norfolk nest last year and I think the eggs were damaged. Not sure about the second clutch but the third one produced Buddy!
Hedgie, are you still with us? Shuttle launch still on for the morning? nice about your newspaper person, I told mine last night not to worry about it including Sunday morning...they were nice to call
I don't know about ya'll but I am emotionally drained!! I have been watching this since 5 a.m. this morning, crying, praying, crying, and praying some more!!! I pray for a fresh clutch! All night I worried that the heavy snow would suffocate them trying to save that egg. I am so grateful to be part of this community of nature lovers! Experiences I would never have had anywhere else with the best people ever!!! I love you guys!
Love you too Sissy...we will help each other through it each and every time there is a crisis.
Good, Megan...glad you have a place to go to keep warm. Have been thinking of you a lot today, I shoveled some snow and thought I would like to be on your maintenance crew ☺
Buddy was the only hatched chick of the third cluth at Norfolk and he developed a major case of what they called avian pox, or think it was that. He was removed from the nest and is still in rehabilitation, had to have lots of work done on his beak. Short answer...
Shirley, Buddy was the eaglet that hatched last year at Norfolk. He had a growth on his beak and they had to remove him from the nest. The growth fell off his beak but they have to Dremmel his beak ever so often because it still grows crooked.
Norfolk nest last year...they had laid 2 eggs, then an intruder female came and disrupted the incubation. The eggs were abandoned. The intruder left and they laid 2 more eggs. Then they think an owl spooked the eagle at night and she stepped on the 2 eggs, breaking them.
The third egg of the second clutch, yes the 5th egg of the season, was laid and hatched. At around 2 1/2 weeks of age, they noticed a growth on the eaglets beak. They retrieved him from the nest, he had avian pox. That is our Buddy. He is being cared for by the Wildlife Center of VA, he will become an educational eagle.
His beak became twisted to the left because of the avian pox, and needs trimming.
I had a longer answer but it got blogger copped on me and I failed to save it like I usually do. Buddy was the only hatched chick of the third clutch there. First clutch got abandoned after drama from an intruder female, second clutch got damaged when parent landed too hard on them after an intruder owl. Buddy made it through, and then his fate.... that was 2008
Megan, we haven't seen a plow on our road since about 7 this morning. Never saw a car all day but we walked down and someone had clearly gone by in something big.
Wish I had bought more cookies...
The birds at my feeders tried to eat me out of house and home today!
I am wondering where Lib and Belle got the sticks...must have pulled them off a tree. The ground is covered and probably will be for a long while. Hope there are a lot of dead limbs that they can us to rebuild. Speaking of limbs, Gene noticed a limb fell on the Eagle Express. Can't get to the top of it to see the damage:(
I saved a pic when it was getting dark & lightened it & that's when Belle was still there at 6 PM.
If I stand up can see a lighter picture on monitor & now the outline doesn't look like a bird there. Still have sound up, too & here some little maybe feetsie noises. Too bad the tree snow is blocking the night light.
Hi all! (((hugs))) What a day! I left as I had to get some things done and it was just too hard to watch.
It was spring of 2008, two years ago that Buddy was in the nest after all the drama. Jack was celebrating with a friend his 50 year hs graduation and we went to Williamsburg and NBG. We visited Buddy when he was just an Eggbert.
I guess I should say, pretty confirmed it was the original pair. I am an amateur on answers, know that the good info comes from those who have been watching and studying longer going to go read and maybe fall asleep.
Wanda -hope the Eagle Express is okay...you can recruit us to come help with repairs when the time comes ☺
Spent the afternoon typing up recipes for Ashley and Michael. Taking then prepared meals and instructions for cooking them. Delicious gourmet meals. Our birthday present to Michael. Also made a birthday card for Zach. I always make their cards. Going over tomorrow afternoon for Super Bowl Party.
My hubby and the kids spent so much time clearing the snow and we knew that when the BIG plow came their work could be made futile with one swipe of the plow. Well plow was a coming up into our circle and hubby hurried out and must have give directions... lol Driveway is still clear out into the circle.......
Dagummit---wanted to add some pics to Blog & pic attachment window won't open. But you can do thiss yourself if you want~~~~~just saved a nest pic now & lightened it and semicircle of nest looks uniform--most likely MT.
I have a couple pics from this afternoon that will explain a strange incident~~~~don't want to spill the beans yet. And why would Blogger be affected by weather?????Aren't they on West Coast??????
I have been hearing some small sounds at the nest, not sure if from the tree or the nest.
Wanda - I checked my video from 1:57 to 2:02...Belle had not laid the egg yet, I must have just missed her laying it....and she was making small cries...
Gotta eat something---not hungry & take a pain pill. Fo0rgot about my almost better back & did a little shoveling---only to make a trench to the deck to throw lots of roll & cracker crumbs & down the steps (4) to carport where Shorty was waiting under car for peanuts!
Then I'll try pics again. Hint Lolly--almost electrifying!!!!!
there shouldn't be any damage to the nest from the storm, the snow should melt away and the nest should be good to go...just saw some snow fall from top of pic, eagle must be up there.
lol Hedgie - were you talking about the sub shop - I thought where in the devil is Margy going to work that she would getting on the subway! lol I think I have had it for today!
Yeah, hoping we get one. Not really convinced power is gonna stay on, but who knows, we've been very lucky so far. Gonna hit the couch for a while with hubby. Hope to talk to you all tomorrow. New day, new hope.
WOO HOO!Backhoe unstuck, and Kyle just charged down the driveway full speed ahead and rammed the snow clear across the street...we are free!!!! Of course the road isn't plowed yet....
Heading for shower and bed. Prayers for all, glad is OK...hope Eagle express isn't badly damaged.
I picture Megan and Russ falling peacefully asleep on the sofa, their work finished and the greenhouse saved!
You must be right about the time the second egg was laid because the Outdoor People said pretty much the same time as you. I did post a photo of Belle at 1:59pm, and she was looking down at her feet and I thought I saw 2 eggs. I was doing my hair and heard her little noises and that is what brought my attention to her. I guess she was in labor at that time. Poor thing, she has been through so much. I felt like there was a death in the family! But, after you all saw sticks being brought in, I quit mourning and have hope now. We should never give up hope, Belle and Lib didn't. We could learn from their positive attitude:)
Wanda, that is exactly how I feel, like there was a death in the family! But then, I think how grateful I am that was not babies in the nest and that Belle and Lib are okay!!!
I see you are keeping us all up to date with your "Watching Eaglets Grow" I love to use it as a reference and just want you to know that your time is greatly valued! Thanks Again.
Judy - we could get egg #3 They were bringing in some new branches so we shall see what the morning brings! Thanks again for stopping by.
Lynne, we had this funny email about waxing at one time. We thought it was really funny and then we started saying that whoever got 100th post, won wax.
Lolly & Shirley...Gene shoveled a path from our house to the cars and when he finally got to the cars, he could see a large limb had fallen onto the side and top of the Eagle Express. He couldn't get to the top of it to see if there was damage. It was a spruce tree and they usuall fall softly because their needles sort of break the fall. We shall check it out once some of this snow melts.
Hi Mema Jo and Paula. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for #3. I was so pleased to hear that Belle had some food today - she'll need the nutrients to make a strong healthy egg. And while I know that eggs need to be kept warm - I also know that we had eggs hatch on the Maine Coast nest even though they'd been left untended for quite a bit of time in sub-freezing weather - so I'm open to a minor miracle.
I am looking forward to tomorrow too...it will be like starting all over from scratch. Still a lot of snow in that nest. Hope they can overcome it.
I'm going to say good night...'puter has been acting up all day and has gotten worse this evening. Going to turn it off all night and start all over with the eagles in the morning.
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS SLEEP WELL AND LONG MANY PRAYERS BEING SAID
Good Night everyone from this roost too. Hope to get up to watch the launch and maybe see the shuttle soar past when it gets 900 miles downrange then stay up to see our nest at first light unless I end up at work, been lucky so far
(( hugs ♥ )) to everyone God Bless Us, Every One xo ☺ ♥
Good night to all turning in...it certainly has been a rough couple of days all around. Hopefully tomorrow will bring sunshine and warmth to our nest and our hearts.
Shuttle launch on schedule for 4:39AM. For mid-Atlantic region, start watching SE sky when they say that it is 900 miles downrange(CANDY--700 for you). It will be moving to the north.....look at about the 70 degree angle. It's a beautiful sight to see....and skies are clear as can be ...at least right now.
I have been ignoring Lily and fb while wrapped up with our nest. Tonight I have been doing a little catching up. I learned that Jack Hanna has a fb page and let me tell you....he has been educated. lol You go....Lily fans!!!
Thank you, JudyB for encouraging words. We are all so down and apprciate your words. Also, like that you are "keeping your talons crossed". lol
Going to put my nose in a book right now. Will be back later.
That's it for me, gang. Bath time and a few hours of shuteye...up around 4 and then will probably go back to bed after the launch! See you sometime tomorrow morning!! Prayers for all....and may we all find peace in our hearts. Love you all.
NITE KIDS!---Had help this afternoon!---Still can't get out of drive---'will worry about that tomorrow'---Just happy still have electric---LIFE IS GOOD!
Happy Birthday, Mits!!! Have you ever been snowed in on your birthday? Well, stay warm and cook yourself something special! (((hugs))) And, get your hubby to take you out to eat when you can get out.
Looked at the nest. Can not figure out anything. Does not look like an eagle, unless it is covered with snow. But, it does look strange.
Heading to the shower.
Nite all! Try for pleasant dreams. You take the risk of hurting when you love, and that is what is happening to each of us. This too shall pass.
Just a quik stop .. Anyways Mag i have NASA channel on noW watching the astronauts are just getting in space shuttle now.. At least thats what they are showing right now.. Isnt that a beautiful sight the shuttle.. I will be watching when it lifts off.. Have only seen 1 go up at Cape back in 2002.. But when i lived in Florida could see them go across sky.. Huge rooster tail and the booster rocket drop off.. Not sure if Belles in nest.. i rode the Space ride that simulates going into space at Disney was enough for me(screamed..eyes closed... held grandsons hand.. couldnt breath give ya ahint??lol)can imagine areal ride..lol
Hahaha kids say ur getting old when u set and watch NASA for hours ..4:39am eastern time set to lift off unless something happens and its scrubbed..showin them gettin into seats..wow that what ride looks like inside too.. Did i mention Clausterphobic too..lol
weather Lynne....a cloud cover which is coming and going, they have to secure safe launch and then safe return if there are any problems in the early minutes after the launch....
they were nine minutes from launch time...all systems were go except for the weather.... will try to try again at 0414 Monday morning...more to be determined based on the weather
Good Morning....it's fun on here when there is a launch
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---I couldn't sleep---needed to see what's happening with MARGY & BELLE & LIB!!---to WISH MITS A HAPPY!---HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Hi Norma We were up for the shuttle launch which was postponed... I'm doing housework while the nest is still dark saw you post late last night...things getting cleared up there are they? xo
computer running like a snail this morning but I do have live and still feeds up I talked with Suzanne yesterday Norma...she sends her love and hellos to all and prayers for Belle and Liberty xo
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA--- An ALASKA dentist has given a bald eagle a unique beak----using a temporary crown, sticky poster putty & yellow highlighter. The bird was found in Dec with severe damage to its beak, apparently from fishing line that wrapped around it & started cutting into it. Cindy Palmatier at Bird Treatment & Learning Center says staff there decided to turn to dentist Kirk Johnson, who thought of patching up the beak with the same material used to make temp crowns for people. The 'crown' is being held on with poster putty, & Johnson colored it in usinging highlighter to give it a yellow tint. The bird center says the eagle is doing just fine but won't be able to return to the wild.
doing noisy laundry & washing dishes and things will quit all that soon as sunrise approaches good story about the Eagle rehab Norma if I don't make it back here very often I hope you understand No call to go to work, yet, I return on schedule 6 am Monday xo
GOOD MORNING... ACTIVITY IN THE NEST...noises like the sounds Belle made yesterday just before she laid egg #2. They are bringing sticks in now. Where on earth are they getting them with all this snow and the darkness?
Watching nest---m/t --- They had the changing of the guards!!--then BELLE was on making those same noises again (egg laying sounds)-- moving around in the egg cup---etc-POW!--She flew off!---M/T --really bolted off the nest!
When I first brought up the still cam, my heart fell because there was an eagle in it but then there was no one. Somebody there now. Still trying to dig out the egg cup.

I'm glad Megan has a little respite from all the work, yet I know that her work is never done
Hear crunching in the snow. Can't see her walking----must be using her beak.
Saturday, February 06, 2010 6:15:00PM This was on other thread.
After that heard louder sound like rustling of wings--she may have flown up in tree.
Thanks Steve

Looks like everyone made it through the Great Superbowl Weekend Storm of 2010 OK so far! The effects will be long lasting I'm afraid. There is a branch on the tree next door laying on the overhead line that conducts our phone and internet....If you don't see me at some point, just assume it fell! Our actual power line is above the branch and not in danger.
Done babbling. I'm so sad for our pair, as I know all of you are as well, but of course nature is a terrible beauty as we all know.
What happened at Norfolk last year?
Can anybody see anything?
I sure can't.
An owl tried to invade the Norfolk nest last year and I think the eggs were damaged. Not sure about the second clutch but the third one produced Buddy!
That is a wonderful song Ceil.
thanks, Lowreeda. I hope Belle did fly up in the tree.
Sharon, I can't see squat either. Gonna stop trying.
I gave up tying to see, too dark.
Power is going on and off again...man I hope it stays on.
megan what would you do...do you have a generator and all that kind of stuff
Hedgie, are you still with us?
Shuttle launch still on for the morning?
nice about your newspaper person, I told mine last night not to worry about it including Sunday morning...they were nice to call
No Margy. MIL has woodstove, so we could go next door and keep warm.
Somebody needs to tell me about Buddy. I have seen mention of him several times.
Love you too Sissy...we will help each other through it each and every time there is a crisis.
Good, Megan...glad you have a place to go to keep warm. Have been thinking of you a lot today, I shoveled some snow and thought I would like to be on your maintenance crew ☺
for an old lady, I did pretty good. Neighbor lady has the perfect size shovel for me
I hope the power stays on. We have started burning the firewood and logs we had stockpiled.
Buddy was the only hatched chick of the third cluth at Norfolk and he developed a major case of what they called avian pox, or think it was that. He was removed from the nest and is still in rehabilitation, had to have lots of work done on his beak.
Short answer...
Will has done a fantastic job of shoveling. Our driveway is clear, but our street is a big time mess.
Shirley, Buddy was the eaglet that hatched last year at Norfolk. He had a growth on his beak and they had to remove him from the nest. The growth fell off his beak but they have to Dremmel his beak ever so often because it still grows crooked.
Thanks, Margy. So that is why you were talking about having Buddy at the open house.
We saw a backhoe earlier, came half way up our lane, then disappeared. We haven't seen a plow since. We are really snowed in.
Thank you, Sharon.

His beak became twisted to the left because of the avian pox, and needs trimming.
Told Kathryn the Hunter and I may be spending the week together. Kathryn is likely to have lots and lots of work to do.
I don't know about Buddy either
I had a longer answer but it got blogger copped on me and I failed to save it like I usually do.
Buddy was the only hatched chick of the third clutch there. First clutch got abandoned after drama from an intruder female, second clutch got damaged when parent landed too hard on them after an intruder owl.
Buddy made it through, and then his fate....
that was 2008
I remember your menitoning some of this before, but didn't have all of the pieces tied together.
Look up Lynne2, just typed the whole story.
I heard Leesburg already cancelled schools for Mon and Tue.
We are still deciding whether to open tomorrow, will decide in morning. May not because people can't get there to open the store.
Oh my, after reading, I did know about Buddy.
Megan, we haven't seen a plow on our road since about 7 this morning. Never saw a car all day but we walked down and someone had clearly gone by in something big.
Wish I had bought more cookies...
The birds at my feeders tried to eat me out of house and home today!
I wonder if BWE is stuck or the wildwatch cams go off at 6pm...stuck on 18:00
We have not seen a plow today.
The birds here cleaned out one of my 2 feeders...
after seeing your Whatever pics Megan I can believe it.
Two conflicting errors in a row, I'm done for awhile
Thinking of all, best wishes for a safe and hopefully restful evening
xo ta ta for now

Thanks to everyone for all of the Buddy stories. It is comforting to know that the eagles can lay a second or third clutch.
and Shirley, they think the original female and male had that third clutch too....
nice way for things to work out...
So, what do you think? Is Belle in the nest?
I guess I should say, pretty confirmed it was the original pair.
I am an amateur on answers, know that the good info comes from those who have been watching and studying longer
going to go read and maybe fall asleep.
Wanda -hope the Eagle Express is okay...you can recruit us to come help with repairs when the time comes ☺
I would say not, last night I could barely make her out. Not tonight.
So some hussy female homebreaker caused trouble?
Spent the afternoon typing up recipes for Ashley and Michael. Taking then prepared meals and instructions for cooking them. Delicious gourmet meals. Our birthday present to Michael. Also made a birthday card for Zach. I always make their cards. Going over tomorrow afternoon for Super Bowl Party.
Yeah....that's the story. Eagle drama!
Norfolk laid egg number 3 today.
I'm here, Margy.....a little too low to chat much. Sad situation.
No plows here, either.
Sky is clear! Launch on for 4:39AM!!!!
Whoa! On the NBG blog they said a 3rd egg was laid today. I had not heard about that.
I'm just too tired to type...
My hubby and the kids spent so much time clearing the snow and we knew that
when the BIG plow came their work could be made futile with one swipe of the plow. Well plow was a coming up into our circle and hubby hurried out
and must have give directions... lol
Driveway is still clear out into the circle.......
Glo, you discoved that before me.
Heard movement at the nest a few minutes ago but nothing now.
And the Buddy story was 2 years ago. My how time and eagles fly!
Bless you, Megan. Hope you get a good nights sleep after soaking in a hot tub.
Now you have us wondering, Larada!
what's a snow plow????? think it will be days before we see any here.
Margy, avoid the "subway" if you have to go to work!! Everyone is getting hung up there.
Are you talking about TODAY, Paula??????
lol Hedgie - were you talking about the sub shop - I thought where in the devil is Margy going to work that she would getting on the subway! lol
I think I have had it for today!
ruh roh, Lowreeda!
seems like Buddy was just last year! guess he'll be 2 this spring...wow.
Try again NN - I was in looking at your pics... Maybe that is why it wouldn't open.
Thanks Glo/Lolly for the info about NBG 3rd egg!
We just might get our 3rd egg too in a couple days.
It was posted on the other thread too, about NBG.
I put some pictures on my Whatever blog. Of what, snow of course.
Heading for sofa and some distracting TV. BBL.
you and hubby did a good job of clearing the GH, Megan.
LOL, Jo.....locals have always called the railroad underpass on Oueen St. the subway!!
Pictures are great and really show the what all those hours of hard work last night produced - A bare roof!
Yes, we did. Between midnight and 3 am we weren't sure we were going to be able to keep it from collapsing, snow was coming down so fast.
Hedgie I never never knew that! lol
well you deserve a good nights' rest, Megan.
Taking a break.........
BBILW
Yeah, hoping we get one. Not really convinced power is gonna stay on, but who knows, we've been very lucky so far. Gonna hit the couch for a while with hubby. Hope to talk to you all tomorrow. New day, new hope.
That is so true Megan, new day, new hope!
Put the 2 late, lightened nest pictures on Blog. Will do some others in a little while.
I can't get the second picture to come up, Loretta.
Snow just fell down again. Skeered me!
Yup, Sharon, I think there's an eagle up there!
OMG, just reading back & see there was a 2nd egg ;>(
I told them to wait!
Now I'm not gonna eat dinner
Loretta, can't believe you didn't know! :( Sad day!
Wax!
Hi,
Will and I had pork chops, mac and cheese, and green beans. After all of his hard work, Will needed a real dinner.
SHARON, I think you got 2 waxes today, didn't you? You can use that to put on the runners of your sled:)
Wanda, that is exactly how I feel, like there was a death in the family! But then, I think how grateful I am that was not babies in the nest and that Belle and Lib are okay!!!
Oh Lowreeda, I'm so sorry you just found out...
Sounds like a good hearty, healthy meal, Shirley.
I just had an opossum walking across the field on top of the snow. Ugly little varmints!
Oh Sissy, if there were babies in the nest, I don't think I could have watched at all!
Quick Judie!!!! Where is Darth??
I think he is shoveling snow in my yard!!!!
Pretending to be Will in a paintball mask!
Check my blog and advise.
That's funny Shirley! Wasn't that nice of Darth!
Wanda, have seen several references to the Eagle Express. Did it suffer some damage?
Been a tough day. Time to relax a little and hope for better times.
Goodnight, everyone. Prayers for Belle and Lib and their extended family.
Yes, I was wondering about the Eagle Espress, too.
Judie, have you found Darth?
good night everyone, prayers for everyone to keep electricity for warmth and comfort, this has been a stressful week, prayers for peacefulness too.
Good night, Helen. Good night, Judie.
OK, I keep seeing this "WAX"....I'm just dying to know what it means!
I've been away much of the day. I rarely post - but appreciate all the information I find here.
Thank you all for the updates.
And hugs.
JudyB
Judy B thanks for your thoughts!
I see you are keeping us all up to date with your "Watching Eaglets Grow"
I love to use it as a reference and just want you to know that your time is greatly valued! Thanks Again.
Judy - we could get egg #3
They were bringing in some new branches so we shall see what the morning brings! Thanks again for stopping by.

Too much wax on you Sharon
You just slid away ..... lol

Lynne, we had this funny email about waxing at one time. We thought it was really funny and then we started saying that whoever got 100th post, won wax.
Had to repost a tinyurl link instead. I have lost the instructions for the blue link!
Hi Judy B!!!
Well, I think I am going to bed now. Love you guys and hope tomorrow is a better day! ((((((HUGS)))))))
Talons crossed for a better tomorrow.
Good Night Sharon
Can't wait to see the nest in the am...
SHARON..are you sneaking away before you have to explain the wax story to Lynne? CHICKEN!:)
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL AND LONG
MANY PRAYERS BEING SAID
Good Night everyone from this roost too. Hope to get up to watch the launch and maybe see the shuttle soar past when it gets 900 miles downrange
then stay up to see our nest at first light unless I end up at work, been lucky so far
(( hugs ♥ )) to everyone
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
<b
Good night Wanda and Margy.
Tomorrow will be a new beginning!
I am heading down the hallway very soon
Lynne, email on its way with the wax story.
Put some snow action on the Blog.
Later~~~~~
Lol, that's great about Lily fans! Hanna needs to check out Lynn Rogers research!!
Glad Hanna learned something new!
judy, I do remember the Maine eagles and the concern. thanks!
Well tomorrow I will be hoping for the bestest, Judy. Thanks for your input.
So have they given up on this egg? I don't think I see a bird there in the nest right now, just a LOT of snow.
Delphia - don't know what we are going to see in the morning. MTBR
WVEC nest has three eggs....
That's it for me, gang. Bath time and a few hours of shuteye...up around 4 and then will probably go back to bed after the launch! See you sometime tomorrow morning!!
Prayers for all....and may we all find peace in our hearts. Love you all.

And, I like what JudyB said...cross your talons!
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA---
An ALASKA dentist has given a bald eagle a unique beak----using a temporary crown, sticky poster putty & yellow highlighter.
We have read many stories about Birds being tangled in fishing line!---DANGEROUS STUFF!
MARGY---Are you napping or cleaning?----(teasing)---Do you work today?
doing noisy laundry & washing dishes and things will quit all that soon as sunrise approaches
good story about the Eagle rehab Norma if I don't make it back here very often I hope you understand
No call to go to work, yet, I return on schedule 6 am Monday
xo
THANKS MARGY!--I can't tell you how much I miss SUZANNE---She is such a caring person!
will keep fingers crossed for ya gal!
Eagle calling sounds !

and an eagle in sight
GOOD MORNING...
ACTIVITY IN THE NEST...noises like
the sounds Belle made yesterday just before she laid egg #2.
They are bringing sticks in now. Where on earth are they getting them with all this snow and the darkness?
hard to make out, eagle standing over the nest bowl
Hi Wanda

Watching nest---m/t --- They had the changing of the guards!!--then BELLE was on making those same noises again (egg laying sounds)-- moving around in the egg cup---etc-POW!--She flew off!---M/T --really bolted off the nest!
MORNIN' WANDA!
EAGLE on the nest---got light all of a sudden---would bet it's LIB!

SNOWY NEST M/T!!!---

When I first brought up the still cam, my heart fell because there was an eagle in it but then there was no one. Somebody there now. Still trying to dig out the egg cup.
