What is going on at the nest? I was watching all day and missed how the egg got out of the egg cup. AND she acted like she wouldn't be bothered with it. Now she finally scooped it up under her.

We're designing WebQuests. It would be challenging to focus on female criminals. Not sure what this teacher has in mind.

Dr. Z is one of my favorites! With Omar Sharif and Julie Christy of course. The was another one made years back that was a little less Hollywood, but very good as well.
Congrats on the new computer Lolly! And thank God Laurel has such a compassionate mom!
We almost went to Red Lobster today but switched gears. Took Daisy for another long walk...got some pictures that I'll post later on. We just stayed in bed late and relaxed today.

My mother in law called today...her husband fell yesterday outside and couldn't get up. She had to get him up herself. Right after that a chunk of ice fell off the house and sliced his hand.

When I first opened up the still cam, I guess it was Belle, was sort of looking at the eggs, and it almost looked like 2 eggs and a little something else, then she sat down on one, and the other was in front of her...just all by itself then she brought it up under her
so was that happening earlier? I have to go read
Prayers for Steve, Lynne, and for your in-laws.
That is a very sad event up there with Steve's parents....

Hey all. My computer froze and I had to start again. At that time she was calling out. It was strange to see her sit on the one egg and then when I was going crazy thinking she was leaving the other one, she rolled it into the egg cup with her too.
My live feed had stopped as I was on facebook, and when I got the feed back up, this is all I saw. Strange
My cam was stopped...couldn't say..all looks fine now
Off to watch a Criminal Minds rerun. Don't let the bed bugs bite.
and mine of course was not on!
The friend who, with me, exchange Wonderful WV magazine subscriptions each year, called me today and was trying to navigate through the sites to get to the Eagle Cam, I was not at home, but at least got him to the Still Cam, then he had to make an ambulance run. I asked him: Did you read this in the WV Magazine ? Yes..he did

Well, Candy...I can't say for sure what we are expecting, but I can say what we are dreading: possibly some rain and/or ice tonight, maybe some rain and/or snow Monday night, and there is talk about a big storm yet to come before the month is over :(

I told Josh the other day that he moved out of Winchester Va, just in time, but he likes the snow. Snow is fine, but you all got toooooo much. Poor Liberty and Belle.

I know what you mean. I was born and raised in New York state and had enough of snow. It is pretty to watch,but that i it for me. We had a couple of little ground covers this winter down here, It seems to stay always west of us, which is fine with me. but that is it.

She got up and backed off the eggs, two,rolled them, looked around, called out a couple of times and then settled back down on the nest. And all is peaceful again.

I was downstairs watching skating and came back up to check on her, got the video just in time. I knew she was standing up in the bowl before I went downstairs...but I didn't think to check my sound...I could hear the wind, tho.

Have been trying to catch up on the blog. Today was a busy day for us--one of those days where you just never seem to light in one place for long. Wish I could say I felt better tonight, too--we went to Wendy's and each got a fish sandwich combo. When we started eating it, we thought it tasted weird. The sandwich left a bitter taste in your mouth, and the fries tasted like they'd been fried in rancid oil. I didn't finish my fish sandwich. Hope everything will be OK. Still have a bitter taste in my mouth. Won't be going there again any time soon. Called their '800' number and told them about it.
Judie, sorry about the security system! Probably a glitch in my computer. It did another "crash dump" today, and had to reboot and re-sign onto everything again. This is getting mighty old mighty fast!
Belle is looking nice and peaceful on the nest right now. Hope the good weather will hold for a while.
We had some rain again last night, but just cloudy today.
Going to go watch some TV and try not to think about Wendy's. The night light is on over the nest, the porch light is automatic, and the eye scanner is ready to go.

Just finished another tray of slides and heading to bed. Watched 82 the whole time. Saw when she finally rolled the eggs and settled down. No view of the eggs, but we know there are two! The about 10 minutes ago think I heard 81 screaming. At times the sound was close and then it would fade. Something was really upsetting him and it sounded like he was flying. I may be way off, but that it what it sounded like to me. 81 was just staring in one direction.
Headed to bed. We have gone from 73 to 43 and they still say we will get several inches of snow. Two more inches and we break the record for the most snow in a season. Lovely! Just lovely!

Just came to shut things down. Checked TH and there is a large, creepy something in front of nest. Dark w/white fuzzy part can't really see well & wind is blowing so hard, feathers are looking like it wants to fly. Sad thing is when enlarge cam it stops moving. Maybe that was all the ruckus you heard, Lolly.

OMG, I'm hoping the poor thing in TH nest is not another eagle?! It looks too small, but right colors. #82 isn't paying any attention, just got up for egg roll & plopped back down. Gotta wait for AM sun, I guess.
