Brought this over from old thread: Old non-viable eggs - usually stay in the nest.. Once there was an egg in a nest that the hatched eaglet (Eggbert)fledged and the old egg was still there.
I see the white spot but even at full screen I can't be certain if it is an egg or a snowball. I'll go for the snowball.
This is a new experience for all of us as to what we are seeing. Most of us are guessing but next season we'll be able to talk about it with a bit more knowledge. You know - Live & Learn
I am just dropping in for a minute. Was suppose to go north 3 hours to visit Children and Grand babies, but our plans have changed. Sniff,Sniff!
Now I get to work on our basement. Yeepee!!! We are starting to finish up our basement! Doing insulation, putting up walls over insulation. Everything is a mess down there. Big task, but will be nice when all done. "Perseverance"
Beagle I think it is. Even after 4 yrs of watching - I can never be certain unless they are side by side. As long as an eagle is there in the nest for me to watch - I have learned Not to call it Liberty or Belle!
My sound keeps cutting in and out...and so is my feed today...if you don't see those "seed pod fruits" swaying in the breeze, you probably need to refresh!
Jim, Paula has a pic of the newest egg on her blog.
Jo---the young girl---24---has a brain stem injury. Was taken off life support, but survived. Not comatose now, but............in a nursing home/rehab facility. Drs. say she will never be functional.
February 2010 Update: The pair of adult Bald Eagles has been seen at the nest, repairing damage from fall and winter storms. We, too, are making repairs to some of our equipment and hope to once again offer live-stream video of the Bald Eagles this nesting season. Please check back for updates.
Sounds like a good dinner, Judie. Makes me want to go fix some coleslaw.
I will need to go to the grocery store tomorrow. Trying to catch up on some schoolwork today. I was surprised to see that no one has posted anything on our discussion for this week's assignment yet. I
I got some more pictures of Savannah and eaglet. The last picture I put in, do I see two? She only fed one, but it looks like two. My blog Eagle and Panda Pics
Good afternoon. That wind is still blowing at the nest. Belle just called out. Was out delivering cards and cup cakes and went by a very tall tree Guess what was in the branches. Garland
Paula, I looked at earlier pictures of Savannah's eaglet (on facebook) and a big ol white egg. Look at my last picture. I do not see an egg, but what I think is a little one that did not make it. What do you think?
Hi Sandra... Yes that was an egg roll Should have been 2 eggs in there. We think maybe only the newest 1 is going to be good but like you said MTBR at a later date!
Thanks, Paula. Looked at the video. Think they are going to have only the one eaglet. But, that is a success story! It will be interesting to watch. I have a lot of questions....will this eaglet be able to succeed on it's own???
Ceil, you had me looking back to see what I'd said that you were responding to. Decided that you were talking to someone else!
Newbies--if you haven't been reading our blog, you might be confused about references to a garland . . . Ceil's Christmas garland blew away in December and is still flying around the country. We never know where it will appear. Keep your eyes peeled.
Afternoon Everyone, been ddoing this and that around here today & fell asleep in front of Olympics last night! Duh, what else is new? Finished shoveling Fubby's trench to thee other end of the deck so we could put up new suet in Magnolia Acres ☺ I understand we have a new egg (or more??) I put 3 sets of pictures on Blog---At Home...& Shorty! I did a video of Shorty, but the end whips up in the air so it won't be shown until I master Adobe film cropping program! That may be several months--tried it before & parts are written in Chinese. The BEST pics are yet to come of the Park yesterday!!! If I haven't formally said Hello to all the new eagle people, well, Welcome!! This is a great group! ☺
LOl was just watching CRC...Savannah circled around the nest twice before I think she finally yelled at Derek to get up. As far as I can tell, Derek has the damaged left wing, has a lot of white on it, it also splays out funny when he is on the nest. He also seems a little lighter in color.
Well, I am finally back in Bedford. First part of my stay was sad but then spending time with Mattie, Sissy, and Tom was great. Then hugging my baby boy and spending the weekend with him and Kelsey was wonderful. We had such a good time at Mattie's party last night. Really grateful for my life! And, it is so good to see my other 4-legged children, although they seemed happier to see Mopsy than me! :)
LOlly, they have lots of info on their website...they put the chicks in hack towers at around 6 wks of age, they say a lot of fishing, hunting etc comes from instinct. I'm sure having a parent around is helpful, but I think a lot is instinct as well.
Jack found an article the other day about the Texas eagles at Llano, but it got thrown out before I read it. Remember, we went last year. Well, they are raising two this year and I am sure attracting crowds to the side of the road where you can see the nest.
Lolly, My daughter or SIL sent me pictures a few years ago of nests & birds at Llano! I know that they will migrate and go north later, not stay in the TX heat. So neat they can be seen this early. And bet they didn't mind the snow at all, if they got any! Went went to Llano one year for B-B-Q!!!!
This is a very interesting article about the Llano eagles. Apparently there was another adult female that helped feed the eaglets in the past. Not there this year.
I was having so much trouble with the live cam that I installed Firefox. So far, so good. I had Firefox until they reformatted my disk, but had been using IE even then.
WOW, Lolly----that guy is a great photographer!!! Seems so strange to have everything happen so early!!! Bet they are really confused this year with your snow! Now to read the article...
Unbelievable! Wonder if there is any other documented incidence of a third "parent" being involved in raising the eaglets??? Cool! Wonder what happened to her this year? :(
for once something is working well here...food in nest, someone is not sharing I'll be more sociable soon so, our still cam is down? all black with a red x for me wow empty of eggs huh, she sure is settling in something seems to be alerting them from overhead a little
Those big twigs on that nest look very cumbersome, Jo, I haven't seen an eagle in there for awhile . Someone could take them down and make snowshoes out of them ☺
parent has not been off them long Jo...I checked that one first when I saw my still cam was black...how many posts go I go back to find out the status of NCTC or could someone just lay it on me now...
okay I go back now to read what everyone has been up to hope to find mostly good news and not much sad/bad news xo bbsoon I hope depends on how fast I speedread
Dinner is almost ready. We are having Tenderloin with Blu Cheese (This is a thyme seasoned tenderloin topped with blu cheese and fresh steamed asparagus put under the broiler to melt the cheese, then topped with a reduction sauce. Having linguine with homemade pesto sauce and a salad with homemade blu cheese dressing. Strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Actually dinner is over. finishing my glass of wine now. I typed what we were having for dinner and then when I returned, I had not posted it. lol Senile! Dinner was yummy and enjoying the wine.
Helen I was just talking to MM She said what is Jim doing I said watching the race. She said that is still on. Margy thank you so much for the anniversary card. MM said thank you for her card. She loved it. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL Going to watch some tv. Restful sleep to everyone
Since it's only my son and me, I take him out to dinner. We get into good conversations when we do.
He gave me a lesson on how to maintain my computer. Some of the things he told me....will just wait for him to do. He just took off with his roommate to return to school. (sniff)
BEagle The WV DNR calendar has not had an Eagle as one of featured paintings in many many years...I have the prior calendars for nearly 20 years worth... I understand deadline for submitting art work is in February...I keep meaning to write them a letter to plead that they find a Bald Eagle painting to include...and Osprey too. There was an Osprey in 2009.... What do you think?
Jo, the winner is a good guy! And my guy was right behind him in 2nd. It's all good. Margy,s till cam has been down all day...:( Paula..thanks. Before my time, so that's why I never heard of it!
BEagle: They have wonderful pictures! They are paintings.. all manner of birds, geese, owls, fish lakes and people fishing frogs, turtles, (can't remember any snakes right now or spiders ) butterflies, black bears, foxes, rabbits... and much much more. It is a terrific deal at I think 9 dollars now....and all kinds of fantastic information after all the pictures.
Mits off Mon and Tues, work Wed and Thur and supposed to be off for the week-end.
Thanks Lynn...I read that you guys could not see it at first light today :( I don't even mess much with the live cam because it is seldom live for me! As you know...
My neighbor Lorraine was released from the hospital today and is doing well...has to go for out patient IV therapy antibiotics for the next five days...so thanks again, all, she is on the mend and happy to be back at her roost ☺
Yes! You can go view the calendar on their DNR home page, BEagle let me find the link, eyes very tired now have to find the magnifying glass too..back in a minute with this
Little Diego (I know that's not his name) and mom are sleeping on the shelf. She looks like a restless sleeper and I wouldn't want to sleep with her!☺
Our daughter was a terrible bed partner. When we'd go camping she & I took one of the beds and Jim and the boys split the other two in the camper. She usually ended up with her feet near at my head. It's funny now 'cuz her oldest son was the same way when he was little. ☺
Don't go camping anymore. I figured out it wasn't a vacation for me. I still had to cook and clean, etc. It's a nice hotel for me now but we don't go anywhere. ;o(
bbl, going to check out other cams. I must have 75 of them!
then go look at publications and programming for calendar 2010
hope this works, didnt blue link it because now I can't see and can barely type :( going to catch a gaze upon the nest on live feed, such as it is here. bbsoon
Well I read the posts carefully enough to see that I did NOT see Dana here today... will ring her up Monday... can't see, can't type, can barely think, but I think I CAN sleep... slam wore out from the past week as are many of us.
Good to See Everyone... And, daytime visits with everyone in the morning. Now off to NCTC live feed for a few then off to the pillows.
Loretta I will check the Nook for any new pictures too.
Put a couple Park scene sets on Blog. That makes 5 so far & still have the really good stuff to do, like eagles, hawks and bears! Oh my! Need a Tylenol. Haven't read emails or much of blog yet. BBS
Nite Margy! Hope you do get a chance to see your grandson. Going to see J & J tomorrow. Will go to Dallas next weekend to see Zach. They lost some big limbs if not two whole trees from the weight of the snow. Jack has a chain saw, so he will see what he can do.
Night Sharon - Glad you are home in Bedford safe and sound. Now you get to share your bed with all the doggies! Happy that you had such a happy weekend ♥
I'm headed for bed, but wanted to say Hello, before I said Goodbye:)
Got groceries for GG today. Glad she is allowing us to do that. Hope she eventually realizes it's OK to let us do that and won't find it necessary to drive herself there. She is doing really well! Was frying chicken when we went in...looked nice and brown and crisp...she does makes good fried chicken, still:) LYNN...SORRY MISSED YOUR QUESTION ABOUT DR. He doesn't think GB is her problem. Thought she should have a Colonoscopy with the mishap she had 2 weeks ago, but then agreed with me that she couldn't handle the prep. She lost 5 pounds while she was sick, but is eating well now.
MARGY, I have a patch of SPRING BEAUTIES. I'll let you know when they bloom and you can come down and see them. I have many ferns gathered from the wild and they transplant very nicely, just need lots of water when first transplanted:) All our dogwoods came from the wild too. Just need a lot of care when you first plant them.
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS SLEEP WELL PRAYERS FOR ALL
Oh, now I remember...went grocery shopping for us and GG yesterday. That always wears me out. I shop up and down every isle and then have to walk the length of the store (Wal Mart) to get Ensure in the pharmacy area.

Steve glad you relieved our 700Plus
remarks and gave us a new thread.
I'm hoping you know about the new egg and our speculations. We would welcome any comments you may have cause this is
all new to us.
Brought this over from old thread:

Thanks for the heads up on the new thread and thank you for the new thread.
These beautiful birds are intriguing bring about many questions.
Steve - Live feed is running very well
We have lost the Still Cam.
Thank you for the new thread Steve. I have wanted to thank you for almost a year now.
I am a newbie. I have only been reading, not commenting. Have always wanted to thank you.
there's a similar dot straight begin the tail feathers...a little lower...too.
Must be snowballs.
Those dots are too small to be eggs.
Eagle just flew in.
Viewing the Valmont owls... Snow has blown into their nest box.
My live feed is really having issues. but eagle flew in, eagle on eggs flew out.
Well this winter will have educated us all, unfortunatly we have to wait until march to figure out what we learned.
Happy Valentines Day to All!!
Back to work!!!!! Everybody enjoy your day. ^..^
I saw the wiggle wiggle but at no time could I see past Belle's body into the
egg cup. Well I did see one for half of a second..
That's Belle on the post now, isn't it?
Phyrfly that says it all!
So far my live feed is running smoothly.
Sorry you didn't make the trip up north to see the kids. You'll love having the finished basement!
Beagle I think it is. Even after 4 yrs of watching - I can never be certain unless they are side by side.

My sound keeps cutting in and out...and so is my feed today...if you don't see those "seed pod fruits" swaying in the breeze, you probably need to refresh!
Putting my feet up and watching some of the Olympics.
BBL
Looks like big Belle to me...
gotta go get some chores done...
I have the same symptoms as you Paula. The seed pods are a good focal point.
Paula said the feathers look lighter on Lib, so I say this is Belle. but I will get tired of trying to figure them out and go the THE eagle.
And what is THE eagle doing now, giving us a tail feather?
I am taking my Valentine out to dinner (son) where I will proceed to insist he be my Valentine. Happy V Day to you all.
TCB........later.
Jim, Paula has a pic of the newest egg on her blog.
Jo---the young girl---24---has a brain stem injury. Was taken off life support, but survived. Not comatose now, but............in a nursing home/rehab facility. Drs. say she will never be functional.
Got this message on my Facebook wall--it's from my son Rus.
"Hey Mom, I saw a bald eagle flying over the 14th Street Bridge this morning. He definitely got to work quicker than anyone today."
I have been working on the assignments for my current online course on designing WebQuests--checking in from time to time to read messages.
Beautiful, sunny day. Snow is melting.
BBL.
Snow is really melting at Savannah's nest...
Duke Farms Eagle cam update
February 2010 Update: The pair of adult Bald Eagles has been seen at the nest, repairing damage from fall and winter storms. We, too, are making repairs to some of our equipment and hope to once again offer live-stream video of the Bald Eagles this nesting season. Please check back for updates.
No school in Culpeper tomorrow.
I see the melting snow, but it looks like there is snow on Savannah's head and back. Odd.
Egg roll
I just noticed how bare the osprey cam nest is of sticks....
Shirley - no snow on her back, must be the sunlight
Steve, thank you so much. Happy Valentines Day to you and your family♥
Paula, thanks for the update on Dukes. I checked about a week or so ago but nothing happening.
Shirley, wonder if the eagle Russ saw was one from the St. E's property? Wouldn't that be a fun coincidence?
Ragdoll, hope your visit was only postponed -- maybe next weekend?
BTW my snowshoes worked just fine coming back from Lily's.
Whooosh! Sheesh, almost got knocked over by a speeding shiny garland. It's on the fly again.
Okay, need to go mop up the laundry room floor in anticipation of the new machine sometime tomorrow.
Looks to still be a bit windy at the nest with egg sitting in progress.
For dinner: an authentic New Orleans shrimp PoBoy sandwich and cole slaw. Good way to say thanks for the washer.
BBL
Sounds like a good dinner, Judie. Makes me want to go fix some coleslaw.
I will need to go to the grocery store tomorrow. Trying to catch up on some schoolwork today. I was surprised to see that no one has posted anything on our discussion for this week's assignment yet. I
Savannah is off the nest.
Just saw one eaglet and possibly one egg.
Hi, just checked on Savannah and saw one eaglet. Might be mistaken but thought there were two that hatched. Did one not survive?
Shirley, enjoy another day off.
It is fun to think that Rus saw the St. E's eagle. I haven't heard anything about them recently. Hope they are doing well.
Judie, I can enjoy the days off, but it's going to be hard to get the kids focused when we go back.
We missed three days week before last. My big group of juniors is going to be crazy.
I got some more pictures of Savannah and eaglet. The last picture I put in, do I see two? She only fed one, but it looks like two. My blog Eagle and Panda Pics
Remember to double click the pictures to enlarge them.
Eagle up, can see two eggs
She wiggled back onto them.
Eagle just flew in with stick.
And a switch- eagle on eggs flew out.
Megan she called him a little while ago. He finally came with a stick. Just saw egg roll
Yeah, I heard her yelling. Woke my dog up.
omg! i think I just saw an egg roll! Or snowball. Eagle stepping very carefully. MTBR
Shirley you saw an egg roll.
Savannah- up again-
Lib pulling fluff around and a stick
Sandy - that would be a 2 egg roll!
Lolly - will look. I saw 1 eaglet eating last night, and one laying in the nest. No movement. Have not been able to catch her up today.
Lolly, nothing official from CRC on the 2nd chick, but no one has seen it moving. It looks like it has been moved since last evening, tho.
Lib doing wiggle wiggle
Look now- Savannah up
Hi Sandra... Yes that was an egg roll
Should have been 2 eggs in there. We think maybe only the newest 1 is going to be good but like you said MTBR at a later date!
Headed with hubby to CVS
BBL
Never mind- quick switch there.
Paula, I need advice on buying a new laptop. You seem happy with yours. Hi, Ceil and all who are on.
Lolly, I did a video of Savannah feeding last night, check out the EM blog
I put in on their FB as well, but it's quite small there, couldn't post a link to my original
Sandy - I got mine from Best buy, it's an HP pavilion dv6, if you like I can email you the link or post it on here.
I have an appt to have my eyes examined on March 15 better get them checked sooner. Sorry Sandra I saw the name Shirley. I have things to do BBL
I'll just post it on here...give me a minute
Here's my laptop...and yes, very pleased with it! and Best Buy as well, did in store pickup, I was in and out in 3 minutes!
HP Pavilion laptop
Pairs short program is on the Olympics tonight...I love figure skating.
Thanks, paula. I'll check it out,
You're welcome :)
Thanks, Paula. Looked at the video. Think they are going to have only the one eaglet. But, that is a success story! It will be interesting to watch. I have a lot of questions....will this eaglet be able to succeed on it's own???

That garland has been to Texas and California,as well at Northern Minn. Sort of sad it is not still there. Thought it great for cubbie's nursery.
I am off to bake a cake for my valentine. Actually, just making a one egg cake so he can have strawberry shortcake.
BBL
Afternoon Everyone, been ddoing this and that around here today & fell asleep in front of Olympics last night! Duh, what else is new?
Finished shoveling Fubby's trench to thee other end of the deck so we could put up new suet in Magnolia Acres ☺

The BEST pics are yet to come of the Park yesterday!!!
If I haven't formally said Hello to all the new eagle people, well, Welcome!! This is a great group! ☺
Savannah up feeding eaglet :)
Looks like chicklet got some good bites....Hancock forum is calling eaglet Olympia...I like it!
Switch!
Egg roll!
Paula, I looked at your video on your blog, but then I found it on the facebook page. When I clicked it there it enlarged...very big.
Good job!
LOl was just watching CRC...Savannah circled around the nest twice before I think she finally yelled at Derek to get up. As far as I can tell, Derek has the damaged left wing, has a lot of white on it, it also splays out funny when he is on the nest. He also seems a little lighter in color.
Oh, OK Lolly, thanks for the info!
Well, I am finally back in Bedford. First part of my stay was sad but then spending time with Mattie, Sissy, and Tom was great. LOL, Sharon, that's cuz they had Tbird!
They must luv her too ♥
At the WV raptor Rehab Center when we use hack boxes...we always add food to them daily in case the hunting didn't go so wel for them.
And, I thought they had to go to school on Eagle School Road.☺
Jack found an article the other day about the Texas eagles at Llano, but it got thrown out before I read it. Remember, we went last year. Well, they are raising two this year and I am sure attracting crowds to the side of the road where you can see the nest.
Llano, Texas Eagles
This is the nest we visited last year. Maybe we should go again. I am ready for a road trip!
You will really like this site. You can go quickly all the way to the bottom, then slowly go up reading and it make a great story.
Sandra, we have a Best Buy in Martinsburg now---at the new Commons shopping center!
Hello All! Back home now.
Always need to be back home before dark and black ice appears.
A lot of pink sky to the west for the sunset this evening.
I really love some of the pictures.
Thx, Mema Jo on eggs. I've been asking that, emailing experts, searching websights, & couldn't get any answers.
This is a very interesting article about the Llano eagles. Apparently there was another adult female that helped feed the eaglets in the past. Not there this year.
Article on Llano Eagles
Larada, I remember that you told me you went to Llano. Be sure to read the article, it is very interesting.
Yes, they got a little snow, but nothing like what Belle and Lib have had to deal with.
Glad to see night light on and head tucked under wing..... sleep time.
This race is never going to end........problems with track...twice!
Guess it is time to go fix dinner.
Will tell you what we are preparing later. Yummy!
I was having so much trouble with the live cam that I installed Firefox. So far, so good. I had
Firefox until they reformatted my disk, but had been using IE even then.
Going to work on taxes for awhile and then Hedgie hope race is over by 10 for Cold Case!
Hedgie - the west end nest on catalina had 3 until last year
Or maybe it was the year before...
I heard of the Llano trio a couple of years ago...also referred to as Cottonwood trio I believe
Lynn maybe she found herself a male friend
Don't remember that from last year, so maybe it was the year before, Paula.
Gonna eat some yummy messy ribs...bbialw
Lolly, thanks for the link to Llano!
Is that Belle snoozing away?
She must be pooped from those last two eggs!
Lynn, the last season all 3 nested together successfully was in 2007. Dianna disappeared at the beginning of March 2008.
Won't be much longer - getting headache doing taxes. Still watching live feed..... our sleepy eagle.
Howdy, Valentines
Has anyone posted that there is an eagle at the nest at Fort St Vrain in Colorado ?
I'll post the link in a minute
Hope you are all are fine, I haven't read a thing yet

The live feed on Xcel is freezing..
Clear pic but it stopped dead for now.
Daytona is finally over!!!!Jamie McMurray won. Good for him.
I never saw a track get repaved during a race!!!
Did you see those two perfect eggs?
Is it my imagination? It looks like they grew.
for once something is working well here...food in nest, someone is not sharing
I'll be more sociable soon
so, our still cam is down?
all black with a red x for me
wow empty of eggs huh, she sure is settling in
something seems to be alerting them from overhead a little
Hi Margy - I had just posted about Ft St Vrain. Live feed froze for a while.
Very nice web cam, Jo. Those eagles are really busy.
We have some of the same viewing habits Jo ☺

How exciting that the BWE eggs could start going for a hatch on Feb 24
February is almost officially half over!! Next month is Spring Month !

Back to my taxes
I shall return
Glad the race is over - Lorettta seemed pleased with the winner -How about it Lynn?
Ha Ha - already did !
Those big twigs on that nest look very cumbersome, Jo, I haven't seen an eagle in there for awhile .
Someone could take them down and make snowshoes out of them ☺
**** 2 eggs visible in the Valmont Owls' nest ♥♥
Back later............
parent has not been off them long Jo...I checked that one first when I saw my still cam was black...how many posts go I go back to find out the status of NCTC or could someone just lay it on me now...

Welcome to all the newbies. I was one just last year. It's a great blog.

Oh so the still cam has been down since this morning.
Was okay when I left at 5:30
Ma or Pa Valmont is back at the nest
Dinner is almost ready. We are having Tenderloin with Blu Cheese (This is a thyme seasoned tenderloin topped with blu cheese and fresh steamed asparagus put under the broiler to melt the cheese, then topped with a reduction sauce. Having linguine with homemade pesto sauce and a salad with homemade blu cheese dressing. Strawberry shortcake for dessert.
that race was more like 500 hours, instead of 500 miles:)
That blue cheese cuisine sounds scrumptious and i just had dinner out with my son.
You must be a superb cook Lolly!!!
Actually dinner is over. finishing my glass of wine now. I typed what we were having for dinner and then when I returned, I had not posted it. lol Senile!
Dinner was yummy and enjoying the wine.
I just like to cook and Jack cooks with me. It is a dangerous hobby. lol

Nest Update
02/14/10:
On Sunday we saw our eagle parents share a Valentine's Day peck.
As a reminder, we hope to see the first of our two eggs begin hatching around February 24.
At work we call it m.i.a.
Since it's only my son and me, I take him out to dinner. We get into good conversations when we do.
He gave me a lesson on how to maintain my computer. Some of the things he told me....will just wait for him to do. He just took off with his roommate to return to school. (sniff)

The WV DNR calendar has not had an Eagle as one of featured paintings in many many years...I have the prior calendars for nearly 20 years worth...
I understand deadline for submitting art work is in February...I keep meaning to write them a letter to plead that they find a Bald Eagle painting to include...and Osprey too. There was an Osprey in 2009....
What do you think?
yes, Ceil it was the never ending race....glad you ahd a nice time with your son, BEagle
I.E. - Do you have any pull and can you make a nice rendition of a Bald Eagle ?? ☺
I am going to Denton tomorrow to babysit. Laurel has in-service. think I will take my laptop, but do not know if I will be on much. Probably not!
I read that Norma sure seemed to enjoy getting off the hill and getting Groceries !
what is your work schedule this week, Margy?
Jo, the winner is a good guy! And my guy was right behind him in 2nd. It's all good.
Margy,s till cam has been down all day...:(
Paula..thanks. Before my time, so that's why I never heard of it!
Let me see what's on about the calendar. We're having a big building move and DNR has moved out from the floor above.
I will check around about it. What pictures do they usually have on it?
My live feed cam keeps freezing. I think it's a server problem.
BEagle:
They have wonderful pictures!
They are paintings..
all manner of birds, geese,
owls,
fish
lakes and people fishing
frogs, turtles, (can't remember any snakes right now or spiders )
butterflies, black bears,
foxes, rabbits... and much much more.
It is a terrific deal at I think 9 dollars now....and all kinds of fantastic information after all the pictures.
Mits
off Mon and Tues, work Wed and Thur and supposed to be off for the week-end.
Thanks Lynn...I read that you guys could not see it at first light today :(
I don't even mess much with the live cam because it is seldom live for me! As you know...
about time you got some time off, maybe you can make a grandson run.
BEagle
sounds like a nice time with your son.
sorry to read that Ragdoll's
visit with family did not work out, but sounds like she is doing basementnestorations ☺
OH it is my ultimate dream, Helen...been a looooooooong time since it has been this long between visits. I miss the little chap too much !
My neighbor Lorraine was released from the hospital today and is doing well...has to go for out patient IV therapy antibiotics for the next five days...so thanks again, all, she is on the mend and happy to be back at her roost ☺
that is good news, Margy....I'm off to watch olympics for awhile...bbl
Pictures of paintings? It sounds beautiful!!!
You know our Judie does not miss a trick on here! Shirley's post about Russ seeing the eagle over the bridge in DC, and she remembers St. E's !
Well what I mean is, the submittals have to be paintings...not photographs, could not figure out how to work that BEgle ☺
I understand. The calendar has pictures of paintings.
Yes!
You can go view the calendar on their DNR home page, BEagle
let me find the link, eyes very tired now have to find the magnifying glass too..back in a minute with this
Ir's snowing at the ESPN cam
No Deer visible
I said that and 2 deer cam trotting into the feeder !
I said that and 2 deer cam trotting into the feeder !
Okie Bird Cam also has 3 deer at the feeder. No Snow.
PIX PA woods is all snow and NO varmints or deer........
I must have 75 of them!
you most likely have this:
www.wvdnr.gov
then go look at publications and programming for calendar 2010
hope this works, didnt blue link it because now I can't see and can barely type :(
going to catch a gaze upon the nest on live feed, such as it is here.
Happy Valentine's Evening to all
God Bless Us, Every One
xox ☺ ♥
Put a couple Park scene sets on Blog. That makes 5 so far & still have the really good stuff to do, like eagles, hawks and bears! Oh my!
Need a Tylenol. Haven't read emails or much of blog yet.
BBS
Lolly, sounds like a nice Valentine's day dinner!
Whoa, got a lot to catch up, you chatty people you.
Nite Margy! Hope you do get a chance to see your grandson. Going to see J & J tomorrow. Will go to Dallas next weekend to see Zach. They lost some big limbs if not two whole trees from the weight of the snow. Jack has a chain saw, so he will see what he can do.
It was yummy, Paula. Have been trying to cut back recently, so it was very nice to have an excellent meal tonight and not worry about calories!lol
Going to bed now. Love you all and Happy Valentine's Day! ♥♥♥♥
There's actually a picture of a bald eagle once you go to pub's.
It wouldn't surprise me if they have tried locating a bald eagle painting.
Can you paint?
Night Sharon - Glad you are home in Bedford safe and sound. Now you get to share your bed with all the doggies!
Happy that you had such a happy weekend ♥
TV Cold Case
BBL
I am calling it quits for tonight. Have to get up early (ohhhhhhhhhhh) to head to Denton. I might survive!
(((HUGS))) for all!
Sweet dreams!
OMG...snow is almost gone here, it is just a soggy mess....hate to think how soggy you will be when all your snow melts.
Goodnite to all those heading to their pillows.
Going to watch some tv and head to my chair soon too. Must get up early to cancel a doc's apptmt and Tuesday's with my surgeon.
There's just too much ice around here and more snow expected later tomorrow into Tues. and I'm so afraid of falling.
Maybe I'll schedule for May, should be melted by then.
BTW - I found a piece to silver tinsel on my kitchen floor today. I didn't decorate so it must be a part of Ceil's.
Prayers for all wants and needs.
Stopping in to say good night.
Need to get some sleep so I can be ready for Hunter's 6:30 AM arrival.
Oh, Wanda....where are you? The Chinese New Year started today---it is the year of the TIGER!
Hi all,
Will try to seriously catch up tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Margy, so glad you can get some rest and that Lorraine is better.
Lolly, dinner sounds as if it was yummy. Steak with blue cheese is a favorite of mine.
Diann, I thought I noticed a piece of garland missing. Now I understand why. Of course, it's to be expected with all the flying about.
Any news about Officer Carroll?
11 year old (Amber alert) found safe in TN. Abductor to be extradited.
Tired now and need sleep. Washer arriving tomorrow. Darth actually started to talk about also getting a new dryer -- wonders never cease.
Turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others. Andy, if you wake up, please set the alarm for us.
Good eagle dreams.
I'm right behind you, Shirley. Sleep tight, dear fowl friends. Hope your life is full of LOVE!
Prayers and peace.
I'm headed for bed, but wanted to say Hello, before I said Goodbye:)
Got groceries for GG today. Glad she is allowing us to do that. Hope she eventually realizes it's OK to let us do that and won't find it necessary to drive herself there. She is doing really well! Was frying chicken when we went in...looked nice and brown and crisp...she does makes good fried chicken, still:)
LYNN...SORRY MISSED YOUR QUESTION ABOUT DR.
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Looks as though I could be last in line tonight. Heading down the Hallway
Good Night All and Prayers for All
((hugs)) ♥ ♥ ♥
Wanda - Year of the TIGER
Let us hear you roarrrrrrrrrr !!
Well .... I'll be the last one this time
Sleep well my eagle friends. love yas.
good Monday a.m. everyone...have a good one
Good morning!
No snow here yet. Maybe later. Maybe a mix of rain and snow.
I need to get busy and finish up my assignments and get some papers graded and entered into the gradebook.
Eagle in nest calling. (Belle?)
Hi Mits.
Looks like everybody sat up late watching the Olympics last night and is sleeping in this morning.
I watched Cold Case, then went to bed, had a hard enough time keeping my eyes open for that.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...
I fell asleep during Cold Case...have no idea how it ended.
Been doing that a lot lately, must be getting old.
Oh, now I remember...went grocery shopping for us and GG yesterday. That always wears me out. I shop up and down every isle and then have to walk the length of the store (Wal Mart) to get Ensure in the pharmacy area.
split is coming...
