Lynne2, sending a prayer and positive thoughts that the new owner will want to keep the status quo or at least you and Steve. If a good vet, he should be very concerned about the goats and do something quickly to help them heal. Hope the thunder shirt works. Very nice of Janet to help out.
Saw the announcement by Gov. Hogan. Very sorry he has to go through this. Prayers he will heal completely.
we had a GREAT time @ Bristol. Thunder Valley is awesome. JUDYE: have you been there? we hope to go back at some point. they really have a beautiful facility there.
arrived home early afternoon. RV is spic and span. laundry is going. one more day off then back to work.
read back on today's posts...sounds like things are well.
STRONGHUNTER: so sorry about the car repairs...and even more sorry for the sulky teen. I feel your pain on that one!
LYNNE2: just follow the directions that came with the thundershirt. Hopefully it will work for you. I meant to put a note in there, had written it and forgot to put it in the envelope ... I actually got the thundershirt from CAROLANNE originally. So it just is right that you are its next owner. :) :) :) happy to help and glad it arrived!! :)
we celebrated fathers day this evening after dinner. now its quiet time. I look forward to a good night sleep and acupuncture in the morning!
Goodorming my eagle friends. Nest looks and sounds MT.
Lynne, good news about the kennel sale to the vet I would think? At least I hope it's good news for you, Steve, and the animals there.
Shirley, sorry to hear about the car repair bill. When those expensive repairs started coming closer and closer together, that's when I knew it was time to replace my 13 year old Jeep. Still, it's hard to have a car payment when you're used to not having one.
Didn't make it to Rehoboth to shop yesterday - will be doing that this morning. It should be a good day to shop b/c the heat index is supposed to be 100 so the tourists should be at the beach for the day.
Brian texted that he didn't do well enough on all 3 parts of his language test so he will be retesting next week. Selfishly, it means he may stay in the States a little longer but for him, it's very disappointing after almost 9 months of studying full time with a 1 on 1 tutor.
Lynnis called yesterday and asked if she and Freyja and the dogs could come for a few days - they will be arriving late tonight. Need to baby-proof the house for a toddler! I can't wait to see how she does with the beach and the ocean!
Have been watching the hunt for the escaped prisoners in NY with interest and remembering the summer I spent not so far from there more than 50 years ago. I was at Silver Bay on Lake George.
Glad you had a good time Janet. Enjoy this remaining day off.
Lynne2, fingers crossed. Lightening bugs are here in the hundreds and they look like tiny sparkling stars all over the yard. So magical.
Shirley, hope you got some intensely restful sleep and enjoy bowling today. Stop by when you can.
Sandi, sorry about Brian having to retest. Maybe having Lynnis and Freyja and dogs with you will give him more "quiet" time to study and prepare. Enjoy shopping and having Freyja with you.
Not planning on doing much today. Too hot for outside. May take care of a small load of laundry. Ribs on the grill (no oven tonight) with Cole slaw. Maybe some reading beginning with another cup of coffee an the newspaper.
On Larry's Loon blog, he tells of the efforts in MN to help revitalize nesting eagle populations. Recently, a banded eagle was found dead on a NY roadside. Hit by a car. Eagle was banded. It was an original from MN and was 38 years old. Very, very old for an eagle. The baby loon is doing well with mom and dad.
Good HOT morning to all ♥ Try to stay cool today - could reach 100°
Both still in the nest - both have eaten what Shep brought in I emailed NCTC - IT and did get the reply that: Thanks for the heads up Jo, Let me see what I can figure out with this thing
Here's hoping they get it up running - Our cam usually stays up year round whereas the OD does go down after the season.
Lynne - prayers for good news on Thursday from the owner. Sandi - enjoy your company (Like you wouldn't -lol) Hoping for the little Beach Babe's picture with sand bucket and shovel.
I'm elated! Opening cam to find both eaglets there is a treat!
JUDIE, thanks for the loon and eagle report. The first good and the second sad, but that was a nice long life for the New Yorker.
SANDI, wow, can't believe you said yes to Lynnis's request!☺ How wonderful that she, the babies and the dogs will be your house guests! Wishing Brian well on the re-test!
Good luck with the Thundershirt, LYNNE2--it sure works for Malcolm. So nice of JANET and CAROLANNE to keep it in the family!
One eaglet poofs and the other looks like it may soon follow--yep, no sooner said than done. MT nest now.
Must be a good year for fireflies for they abound in my neck of the woods, too. Magical, indeed!
This is errand day and not my favorite thing to do. Already looking forward to getting back home.
Lynne, I do hope this works out for you having a new owner. Also, hoping the thunder shirt works for you! Well, actually for the dog. But, you know what I meant! LOL
Need to call Laurel to meet her half way to give her Moseph's shoes.
Nothing on the agenda today except for the delivery of the shoes. May do a little shopping if I am out and about!
Getting ready to batten down the hatches. Nothing too ominous looking on radar just yet but "they" say there will be rapid intensification of storms. Not even any watches or warnings yet here! But there are just a few miles north of here over the PA line.
Going to put on the T'shirt for Daisy, and get the donkeys in the barn. Not that they'd stay out in a storm, but they must stay in til it's DRY tomorrow.
Sandi, sounds like some fun times starting tonight!

Headed across the hall to put my feet up and watch First 48. Then to the pillows.
Sandperson says departure will be 10pm. Taking the battery operated fan to combat humidity.
Restful sleep for all.
I think it's all going to be just fine!
Well, after not seeing and Lightning Bugs for so long, they sure are making up for it now...there are hundreds of them!
Going to put my feet up...good night, prayers for all.

Have agreat day all!
Shep in the nest, don't know if he brought food
Oh he did, something white, probably a fish. Juvie just appeared, dark tail and claimed it, Shep poofed
Saw a cam clunk, he is probably up above. Juvie talking to him like stay away!
Aha, the second one just flew in, hoping for a steal most likely.
Still squawking at parent up above, think parent finally just took off.
Wish my live feed would stay on for more than 5 seconds!
Good morning,
Almost time to get ready for bowling.

Did anyone see any of the Northern Lights last night??
Both juvies in the nest.
