Good early evening.

Lynne1, hope the young ladies were smitten with the kitten and are now on the way to a purrfect life together.

Shirley, congratulations on the arrival of Smokey and Bandit. They should settle in quickly and become a most welcome and enjoyable addition to the family.

No doubt, Jo enjoyed the Jenny visit and Grandmom and Great Grandmom enjoyed the added special time spent with Master Elliot.

No scullery duty tonight. Watching PBS.

Judie, the young ladies were enchanted. One of the cousins, about 9 , gave us an anatomy lesson about sexing the babies. She thinks they are both females. Momma cat wasn't thrilled with all of the company, but I kept her firmly in my arms. I'm sure they will be back often to visit. They are polite, well mannered children, if a bit exuberant.

Shirley, I was wondering about your trip to Europe(?).

Off to see what there is in the fridge. I too will be tuned into PBS this evening.

Hi, Gang,

I've been busy doing transcription this afternoon, and I've finished the last report and sent them all back to the doctor's office.

Glad to hear of Zoey kitty's continued improvement! Way to go, Zoey!

Shirley, the two kittens sound like they'll get used to everyone soon and fit in
well. I like their names!

The kids got home OK last night, about 9 pm their time. Their Siamese cat, Latte, is being shy with them. I know she must be glad to see them again, but she always ignores them for a while when they've been away.

It's not too hot here today. They predicted a high of 80, but it got up to 86.
It's dry enough that it feels better than 80 with high humidity, though.

Well, I need to go get some clothes out of the dryer. Will check back here later, if I can stay awake after dinner. Have a good evening, everyone.

Judie said...

Hi Andy. Glad you got all that transcription done and over. Maybe tomorrow is a more relaxing beginning of the week.

Lynne1, so glad the young soon-to-be owners were thrilled. How nice you were treated to a sex education lesson, also. Perhaps that young lady could visit Shirley's roost. lol

Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

Cam is down. Maybe tomorrow?

Sandperson's alarm just rang. Much banging and clanging in the hall closet. Departure is imminent.

Restful sleep for all.

Good late evening to all ♥

I had a most wonderful day = being with an inquisitive 7 month old is so refreshing!
Elliot notices everything around him - the different expressions on his face were
remarkable to watch.

I did finished watching WETA 9-10 MASTERPIECE Poldark
It is a very enjoyable show!

Now time to get ready for sleep time........

Goodnight to all ♥

**Saw online pictures of Smokey and Bandit!

Hi,

Lynne1, thought you might be thinking of the trip to Europe, but I wasn't sure. I will be visiting France in September. We're making a very quick trip to Huntersville this weekend. We're meeting friends there so Hunter can go with them to Florida for a week. They're coming down from Ohio, and Kathryn made the arrangements to meet in Huntersville since we'd like to visit there anyway.

stronghunter said...

Yes, Steph took some pictures this evening. Steph and Will came for dinner and kitty visiting. I will try to get some pictures on here tomorrow.

stronghunter said...

It is amazing how much noise a small kitten can make when it is tearing down the hallway. There has been much playing today.

stronghunter said...

Looks like we are going to have some rain.

Time for me to say good night. See you tomorrow. SED.

Good morning.

Shirley, what fun! I recall a poem about something coming in silently on little cat's paws (Frost?) and laughing as I thought freight train would be more accurate. Hope the babies slept quietly through the night. Enjoy!

Off to go with Darth for his procedure.

Hoping Glo will give an update on Zoey.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Sandi said...

Goodorming my eagle friends.

Judie, I hope Darth's procedure goes smoothly today - please let us know.

Shirley, sounds like a happy time for the Phillips household!! What fun! Can't wait to see pics of Smokey & Bandit!

Lynne1, have both kittens found a home?

Janet, how are you feeling this morning?

Jo, sounds like a wonderful day for you yesterday with Master Elliot!

The Member-Guest event went very smoothly and everyone had a great time!

Tennis for me this morning and then I guess the beach. Heat index is supposed to be over 100 today - there is a heat advisory in effect all day. Glad tennis is at 8am and on a shady court!

Brian emailed that he and Bitsy (their cat) arrived in Mexico. They have 3 animals to get to Mexico and could only take 2 at a time so the dogs will go later. He will start his new job this week and then fly back to the US on 7/18 - I guess he will find an Embassy person to cat sit while he's back in the States from 7/18 - 7/24 to pack up their house in WV.

Have agreat day all - stay cool!! Maybe a new thread today???

Janet said...

good morning to all. gkids will be here in a bit. chels has jury duty. I anticipate a grumpy teenager. two late nights in a row an dup early on a Monday. may let her go back to bed for a bit.

I am very sleepy this morning as tom and I were up late for a swim in the dark last night. it was fun playing hide and seek with the sandperson. very frustrated when I would duck under the water. lol.

I am feeling about 90% this morning. still a cough and tickle a little snuffy but lots better. do need to go to the dr and get a note for work. I was out for 3 days. I know they won't ask it of me, but the rules say more than 2 days out requires a note and I make sure I get it for my records just in case there is ever a problem. I always make a copy for my home files as well.

Thanks for asking, Sandi.

I did manage to vacuum the pool late yesterday. ( I slept most of the day again) and Tom and I cleaned the hot tub and put fresh water in it. That's as much as I did. He picked Bojangles up for dinner.

This weekend taking Jack, gs, camping up to Kentucky. I found a groupon for Kentucky Down Under. Saved quite a bit of $$$. Planning on doing the Dinosaur Park per his request. Leaving Friday, home Monday. Short trip, but should be fun.

Everyone, have a great day! (((hugs))) to all

Good morning to all ♥ Shirley you were right because we do have some rain today
MT nest on the still cam - I am sending email to NCTC if they can help reset the
live - I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I have a flock of crows (blackbirds) starlings and they seemed to have brought their
young with them. Lots of bickering between them. Older ones take peanuts but the young
don't seem to know how to do that so they eat the sunflower seeds. The squirrels make them scatter away from the peanut pot - lol

Shirley I hope Smokey and Bandit had a good night. Did Hunter sleep by them? It is a wise idea since Luna is there to cage them during the night until they find their boundaries.

Prayers for Darth's procedure to go well - Judy will be a great caretaker.

Thankful Brian and the cat had a safe journey. Hope when he returns the house packing goes well. Sandi - was Brian just renting or did they own their home.

Lynne - not so strange that Latte rejected affections since she didn't get to go with them to Disney World - for some cat's when their owners leave it is a big deal!

Janet - I am glad to hear you may be feeling better today. Here's hoping you have a wonderful sunny weekend camping! How has Olivia been enjoying her summer?

Today my youngest grandson celebrates his 20th birthday!

Next Monday my oldest great-grandson will be 11.

These grands are aging - lol

From Glo this am:

Zoey has eaten pretty well all weekend. Seems to feel pretty good. Fluid though still is fair at best. Vet check this morning. Stay tuned.

Prayers for a good report from the Vet for Zoey

Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!

Glad the cam is back up--Whitetail enjoying a feast--the juvies need to catch on to eating while perched on a branch. They do seem to like Sycamore Palace and are reluctant to leave!

JO, happy birthday to those grands! Thanks for GLO's optimistic Zoey report. Fingers crossed in hopes the Vet has the same opinion!

MARGY, so good to see you here!

SHIRLEY, it's going to fun hearing all about Smokey and Bandit as they frolic about the house. As Jo said, caging is a good idea when you two legged family members aren't up and at em'.

SANDI, hope tennis was fun today and that you have a relaxing afternoon at the beach. Sounds like Brian and Lynnis have all the moving complications down pat and I wish them nothing but good luck as they embark on a new adventure!

JUDIE, thinking of DARTH and hoping for a good report!

JANET, 90% sounds good, but hoping it's 100% by this time tomorrow!

LYNNE1, sounds like good homes are in the offing for your little ones! Those cousins are delightful children!

Had a grand Sunday here! Saw a great musical at Seth's university, "The All Night Shuffle", in the afternoon and later enjoyed a great Ragtime Band in concert at the park.

Today is a kick back day for Penny n' me with outings between rain showers.

Prayers for all Momsters, Dadsters, Kidsters and Petsters in need!

Hellooooooo! I see our Margy was here! 😄

We worked in the yard today. Ever since returning from our trip we have been off schedule. Trying to get yard mowing back to Friday. So, we mower today and will mow again Friday. It is starting to dry out and we are having to water.

Enjoy the kitties, Shirley. Skippi is only a little over a year old and already is not as playful.

Sandi, I have missed a lot. So, Brian and family are going to Mexico? Where in Mexico? For how long this time?

Judie, hope all goes well for Darth.

Checked the cam, saw an empty nest, with sunshine and a breeze but no Eagles! Presently 98 here!
