NATURENUT: so sorry about the cat. to me, sometimes my furbutts are more human than humans. I love them beyond questions, perhaps a bit too much sometimes....for some people's tastes...but either way, they deserve our best and our help. its a tough choice somethings though.
its been a busy day my friends. my house has been scrubbed top to bottom, lolly-ized I suppose. I had tom helping while he was home on his break. :)
we were busy with home school as well: by jove, I think she finally has the knack of fractions! still reading in life of fred...(math related). we did art, learned more about colonial America and then read in a book called GROSSOLOGY. its gross facts about the human body. and in it it has a recipe for fake blood well you KNOW she had to do that and dag gummed, it looks flipping real! she is most pleased.
I am relaxing for a min. the grill is warming up and I am getting ready to work on my costuming for this weekend! I am creating another steampunk hat. I bought some spats for my boots and i'm gonna steampunk them up as well. most excited about this weekend!!!!
othr than that, its been a pretty day.
colors are starting to pop on the trees. it is a bit warm, but supposedly a cold front is coming. 80's is a wee bit too warm for the end of October, although, not unheard of. I have gotten a lot done and as long as I can spend most of my day in the a/c i'm okay (remember, pool is closed).

Well I went and found a copy online and ordered it so now I have a new copy I scanned and also put in my puter so this can't happen again Well when I was looking for it There is a blog that the tree is on but the directions are no longer on it so many people have commented on it that they would love the instructions so being its was with google there is a way to put a link so I did with the instruction and direction for all who commented on it So I made several more people happy they can make it
The funny thing is the magazine cost 49cents in 1979 but I pad 7.50 plus shipping and handling but it was worth in IMHO
My radiation treatment doesn't start until Nov 7. Tomorrow is for things to be done to get ready for that date.
When you lie flat - they make a mold of your body and that is where you lie during Cyberknife treatments. That is at 12:30pm
Then at 2:00 pm I will go over to the hospital for my CT which enables them to set up the digital program for the radiation. Really scientific - My Robot Arm ♥

It’s on a mission to resupply cargo to the International Space Station (ISS) on November 2 via its attached Cygnus spacecraft.
Beginning at 6:49 p.m. – just moments after the Wallops rocket launch – the ISS will become visible on a path almost directly over Washington, D.C.

Spent the weekend with Kate and the bulldog rescue at the Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth. Weather was amazingly gorgeous! Just got home this evening.
Hi all - drove up to the beach at 6:30 to see the launch but, as you know, there was none! We did see the ISS very clearly though. Not sure if I'll get back there tomorrow evening.

MISSED the ISS flyover. Sitting right by the dang sliding door, curtains open, all set. But a show was on and I got engrossed. DUH. Another one on the 29th, I think.
This will be the last week I get to drive home while it's still light out. UGH!
Loretta, I hope by now you have taken BW to the vet. I won't beat around the bush...what you are describing sounds like he may have thrown a blood clot, and the prognosis will likely be poor. He will be able to eat and drink and function mentally, but it's unlikely that function in his rear can be reversed. I'm hoping I'm wrong. Praying for BW.

living right in the middle of a farm is pretty cool. Farmer has been harvesting potatoes! Neat machine that digs them up, sends them up a belt and though something that sends the taters one way and the dirt another.
He works all day and way past dark. He is still out there now! Lots of taters don't get picked up by the machine. The farmer's church group comes and hand picks the rest to distribute. Pretty cool!
Well, I see I am alone again so I will say goodnight and stick my nose in my book!

F. Austin in Nacogdoches. It is a great state school. However, TCU has a beautiful campus and you can easily fall in love with the school.

Whew!
Do hope that Loretta's BW gets some medical attention.
No mystery. We had planned to visit Westminster at Lake Ridge today to take a final look and make a deposit. However, some other stuff has come up so we will probably go later this week or next week. Just wanted to make sure it was a done deal before sharing.

I went in to work this morning. new therapist needed to practice = free massage. :) she is a sweetie. she is the niece of one of my clients. fantastic massage!

Yes, Darth seems prepared to make a commitment (after almost 32 years JudyE). Seriously, it can be fairly quick or it can take a year or two. The deposit puts us on the wait list and then we wait until a cottage is no longer occupied and it becomes our turn. Still....

Oh, my! I think I did not get on this morning! Whoops! I headed outside and did some gardening. After that I ran errands.
Watched TV tonight. Two nights worth of The Voice. Sitting here on ice, think yard work did a number on my back. Groan.... Guess iI will take it easy tomorrow?
Oh, Jo! I am so. Excited you have been adopted. Guess a vet visit will be in the near future. He is a beautiful kitty.
Have a children's book about a kitty. He lived with a nice family but at night he left. Another family had a kitty but he was only home at night and slept with little girls, during the day he went into the woods. LOL. Same kitty, owned by two families.....or so they thought.
Time to go shower and to see if a hot shower will help my back. Going to take a muscle relaxer tonight!
