Lolly, congrats on your diagnosis!!!! I got the opposite presumption today from the dermatologist. He's frozen a thing on the side of my nose twice and it started growing back again. He said it WAS pre-cancerous before, but now it's probably basal cell CA. Not a big deal~~I've had over a dozen removed. He did some slicing today and will call me in a week to see if there will be more slicing and dicing.☺ I told him when it's healed, I could get a diamond stud for the hole! He said it should be a tattoo!!!!Ain't gettin' old fun??
Can't wait to see how Lori's day went! I don't think she has anything to worry about. ☺

Laurel called. This is Joseph's first time ever to play football. He is on the 7th grade team at school. Not sure if he is A or B team but feel sure it is A team. Anyway, looks like he is the quarterback and not surprised. He wanted to be a receiver.
Laurel also told be about her day. SANDI......she had an incident with a student today. Had to call for help. Police on campus carried her away...literally carried her screaming. Laurel was looking at her 504 which stated she is to follow the teachers directions 80% of the time. Laurel said she was not even doing 20%. She was not disturbing the class...she was just not doing anything. Laurel would politely tell her something and she would just put her head down. She comes with a history! Prayers for this little girl and Laurel!!

Yes, Lori, concerning my doctor. She, Carol Shelley, is a nurse practitioner. I call her Carol as she is a friend. Actually, she is a friend of a friend. A lot of my friends go to her....we love her! Also, like the Dr. she works with but he is just okay.....she is awesome.

Joseph plays soccer and now he has added football.
Jacob likes baseball.
Joseph has to be at school at 6 for football. Yesterday he had football, walked home a mile after school as he did not want to wait for his mom, and then after dinner he had soccer practice. Jack just shook his head and say that is only for the young and healthy.
Oh, and Jacob walked home with Joseph. This is good...the exercise!

Angie got the appraisal and its was 5 thousand less that what they were asking for it Angie called Linda the owners which she wasn't suppose to and Linda said never mind the house is there even if it is less They offered Angie and Carl appliance and lots of stuff they are leaving for the they seem like such a nice couple Angie and Carl will remains friends with them Are inviting them to the first cook out They have purchased a 35ft motor home to live in. I think its so sweet of them to do this for them
Got a call from State Attorney right after I walked out the door will call him tomorrow and get the form out in the mail What a nightmare but least I know what the hold up was and no one got my refund being it was being sent to another address Thanks IRS for that anyway but they could have called me I think or maybe to many people to do that to

I ended up smashing two crab spiders in my yard they keep building a web at my front door I walk out and get webbed I knock it down and they rebuild I even took the spider from the web and placed in my neighbor yard and guess what a day later was back in the tree and on my door well the next step was a big STEP so sorry little spider I gave it many chances to move else where

Most of the following will affect only our Yahoo members.
Yahoo are making massive changes to all groups, and people are experiencing big problems.
They're calling the new format `Neo' and they're rolling out the changes to individual Yahoo ID's which means that some of us are still seeing our groups in their original format. The vast majority of reports that we've received from newly "Neo'd" members are not good, in fact they say that Neo is horrible and impossible to follow! So please be patient if an occasional incorrect message finds its way to our message boards because it now seems that message replies are being sent to all members (i.e the message board) and not just the poster.
We're hopeful that Yahoo might change this and in the meantime we're trying to intercept replies and re-direct them. We hope that Yahoo will restore more functionality eventually, although we have been told it is unlikely that it will ever be back to the way that it was.
Neo'd members will see an entirely different Yahoo group (front page and message page) and it is likely to be more difficult for them to use. Our message maker and all of the usual links and images will disappear.
We can only offer you limited help at present, mostly because we've not yet been Neo'd and we've not yet experienced it ourselves. We know that Neo will completely break our moderation tools, we also know that the new format will not allow us to amend any of the incorrectly posted messages that we catch in `pending' – which in turn means that we'll need to return more messages to you to edit yourselves. At this point in time we are considering "moderating" the whole group, so that we don't have response's going to the list.

OH I figured out the calendar question-- I was at Angie and clicked on the link and didn't see anything meaning our calendar is safe --I wasn't logged in to Yahoo at all and I think someone may have thought it was public it said I had to be a member so that is good news for us
So our calendar is not for anyone but us is good to now also ok its been a long tedious day Tomorrow I need to call SSN or go there and call the State Atty back he gave me his direct line on my answering machine so will be easier to call him I guess

On a serious note....those in closer proximity to where I live may have heard about the Baltimore County Policeman that was killed in Catonsville, MD. His name is Jason Schneider and he and his wife, and his parents are clients of ours. Dr Baker actually dated him in high school and remained friends. He was a former Marine, and father of 2. The family has lived in this area for many years and they are well known. He was leading a tactical unit to serve an arrest warrant. He was in full tactical gear. Shooting started, people came out of the house. Someone was crouched under a bush waiting for a policeman to come by and sadly it was him. He was shot up under his vest. The shooter was shot 6 times and died on the way to Shock Trauma. Viewing in town tomorrow and due to the expected traffic our schools are closing early. It's so sad....
I just thought of it the link to the Yahoo is on the front of the blog page silly me LOL just wanted to chime in with that and say LYNNE2 so sorry about the police man being shot and happy the culprit is dead that did it

Lori, there is a friend of Larry's at his beach house that uses the N word all the time. I heard it plenty when I was growing up, but was suprised to hear this guy still using it. He's a couple of years older than me...and hails from the Philly area.

I'll be getting a vinyl "Eagle" for my new/old teal Trans Am.I don't think of them as eagles---went on older Firebirds' hoods. Fubby got some for his older car. The man who designs them didn't have any colors I liked, so got permission to change colors on one of his originals. His royal blue became teal, aqua, turquoise w/one silver feather in each set of 5. He sent us back his design and it was same as mine! He said there won't be any charge for artwork! That's enough about that!

Area schools on lockdown after attempted entries
According to a BOLO alert dispatched in Jefferson County, a search is underway for two men who allegedly attempted to make entry into at least three elementary schools in the county Friday.
A black male subject and a second man, both well-dressed, attempted to make unauthorized entry into Shepherdstown Elementary School, Blue Ridge Elementary School and T.A. Lowery Elementary School, according to the alert.
The men were reportedly last scene in a Black Mercedes with a blue plate on its front, according to the BOLO.

Criminal???? Call me a knot head but not a criminal. Knot is not (love that!) above my ear. It is at the level of the top of my ear but more towards the back. I'm not caught up here yet, but need to let you know I haven't melted into a puddle yet. It was 101 here yesterday, and the humidity yesterday morning was 64%.
I have officially HAD IT with hot, humid weather! Supposed to be somewhat cooler today, but time will tell. Right now, I need to go get a wet towel and cool Emma down some. I'm trying to give her a much shorter haircut, but she hates clippers (we're talking a near heart attack!), and she won't hold still for long so I can use scissors. Have to take a couple of snips and wait to catch her off guard next time.

Jack and I took a pile of old towels to the city pound this afternoon. They were so grateful and asked if we wanted a tour. Turned them down, did not need a heartbreaker afternoon. Did meet Sheba, the pound German Shepherd. She is beautiful, calm, and just precious. She visits schools. Just awesome. Also, the receptionist was holding a 6 week old puppy. Boy, they really try to get to you!!
High today was 99. Higher in the city. Do not know how Andy is possibly surviving without AC.

LORI....you asked earlier what wine tonight....well, tonight it was a Gewurztraminer. Jack grilled halibut and we had it with the left over green onion sauce I made earlier for the crab cakes. Enjoyed the halibut much more than the crab. Need to find another source for the crab. Wine is delish!! :) Do not have wine every night but tonight this was great!

I have been watching a family of 5
young squirrels feeding on the peanuts and sunflower seeds on the deck. At times they are very docile and stay at their own place and other times they can but heads and chase each other. My morning entertainment.
Going to be humid today - Picnic starts at 4:00 - I may need to sit with some others inside the house rather then out on the patio.

Does she get her nails or toes done - how about a gift certificate to the salon that she goes to or where she gets her hair cut? Or a gift certificate for a massage? Does she drink coffee - how about a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts gift card?
