Here I am on FB - looking at a sort of blurry pic of a black bear that Lynne say she saw. Are you all saying what I was thinking and that it is really a large black furry dog.

We had a fun Family Friday, minus Jayden...his folks took him to the Fair over in Winchester. Miss him sooo much when he is not with us!
Had a small birthday celebration for Grand-Son-In-Law today. He's a pretty cool kid!(Aaron)
Going into church in the morning to hang up clothes and start dinner for Soup Kitchen...need to start resting up. Last SK took the tar out of me:)

Good morning on my last Monday of summer vaca! MT tree in Shep'town.
Had a quiet but nice birthday. Madeline made me pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. It rained pretty much all day, so Madeline and I bought a 1000 piece puzzle. Kept everyone busy all day. Lisa cooked a great Martha Stewart pasta dish and we all had ice cream cake for dessert.
Dana, happy first day back to school - hope your meetings are short and interesting and you get lots of time to work in your room and reconnect with your colleagues!
Tennis for me at 8 am and then hopefully to the beach. Have a great day all!

it was a busy weekend, went by all too fast. you know we had the bday party on saturday...yesterday, went and ran to best buy. we have the protection on our phones and i think it might have paid off as mine has been giving me fits...it turns itself off, changes its own ringtone....hides my pix....so a new phone is enroute and i have a loaner.
tom needed a new battery..that is also enroute.
we dug more dirt. although the gravel and sand have been handled....we have a few piles of dirt to move....so a shovel and some fun times with my husband....moving dirt back toooo the pooooollll....
and even though it was cloudy and only about 80, it was quite humid and a quick dip in the pool felt pretty darn good!
monday again. hoping everyone who is beginning their shchool year has a fabulous start.
i am thinking, do we have an optometrist on the blog? do we know one? cuz, i'm kind of thinking SOMEONE who thinks a dog is a bear MIGHT need some glasses....we could all chip in and get her a pair...just saying, lol.
or keep her out of nelson....
