I fell the happiness from everyone! Can't wait to see a feeding or a switch because I can't imagine how our 2 eaglets have grown - especially with all those fishes in the pantry!
Have been watching Belle feeding both chicks - what a wonderful sight!!! The down side of getting the cam back is that my spring break will probably be a lot less productive now! =)
Thanks so much Steve and all the folks at NCTC for working so hard to get the cam back!! You ROCK!!

Time to get moving. 63 but cloudy. Jack has left for lunch with his crew. I think I will run an errand into town before working in the yard. Hope it feels good even though no sunshine,

Have no idea if Steve and his miracle worker elves read this but sending a huge thank you for getting the live feed operating. Hugs for all who helped with this.
Made a phone call to SC this am to wish gs a happy birthday. Most of you remember Sgt Ryan! He has his discharge and has return to school, part time job, engaged and they just bought a home. All in 29 years!
Went for a great ski! Had a great tumble!!! Man oh man was I going fast. I tried ploughing to slow down. Did not work and I had a choice of going over the side to hug hanging trees or to go into a snow bank. I chose the snow bank. Bent my knees furtnerh and sat and then laid down on the snow afte losing a pole!!! It was actually more controlled than it sounds. I WAS GOING VERY VERY VERY FAST!!! Was a bit shaken and yet I am alright. Sat for a while and made sure no pain, moved a bit, no pain, stood up, no pain! OK NOTHING iS BROKEN!!! I started to laugh it was so funny! Man oh Man did I feel the wind on my face!!! LOL!!! Wrist and upper back are bruised both weak spots. Nothing is broken no swelling. Yoga should fix my back tonight...Doctor is already on Easter Holiday and I do not want to go to emergency as it is not an emergency...
SHEP off BELLE back. The chicklets have grown if you consider how backed up the camera is...they fit in the cup but they are large. Good eating at the nest. Cute...Hedgie is active while Shamrock is plitzed out...now Hedgie taking a nap too and Belle preening.
Thank you JO!!! My friend Dale and I laughed so much and made up story about this Egyptian she went skiing with her and who went over the bank all she managed to do is catch my hat and I am still going...no one has seen me since...it was a hoot...I am glad I did not go over the bank in all seriousness though! Glad to be here and we have a cam and I did not intend to go fast it was just that ploughing technique did not work so well!!! I have to practice some more that is all...every thing is better with practice!!!
SANDI I was not scared...just careful and knew that we could get the medivac if I was in serious trouble...they have them on stand by all the time even for cross country skiers...it is all good. I was deliberate in satnding up and wanted to know what the next phase would be. I was more shaken than scared...Thank you. You are on spring break now! YAY SANDI and DANA...Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy...
Just checked a few minutes ago and see that the cam is up! Yay! I saw Shep, then Belle came in and there are Hedgie and Shamrock. And we have sound.
Thanks Steve, Clayton, and anyone else who got the cam back up for us.
Been off to the bank to get my mortgage refinanced. Actually filled out the application and got things rolling this time.
When I left her office, the loan officer hugged me. She was working at the savings and loan here in town where we had our mortgage when I was married. She was so very kind and helped me then, so I went back to her. Was so glad she was still working there. Actually the savings and loan is gone, but she works at my bank now. Very convenient.
Now to get a new homeowner's insurance policy. She said that they will call.
I am glad for you SHIRLEY. It is always good to have a banker whom you can trust and you have a history with her. Glad she was able to work things out for you. You are such a good client and dependable and reliable that I do not think they would have any doubts at all as to their mortgage payments.
Got a virus on my computer and am going to need my sons to help me remove it. It's called Whitesmoke. Looks legitimate, but when I tried to uninstall it, it did not go away.
Another momster breaks the rules. Glad you are oK Hoda You do know its supposed to be Wind Beneath my Wings not wind in your face. So glad to have the cam back on. Tried to nap this afternoon. Tried to nap this afternoon. I am not a good napper unless I am sick so that didn't work. I am still tired LOL. Hoping for something nice and relaxing to watch on TV after supper.
Hoda, Hoda, Hoda!!! What are we going to do with you? You broke a rule!!!! So glad you are okay and all is well!! Practice, dear, practice!!!
Did not get any yard work done. Ran an errand in town, then did some shopping and bought two new tops. That was fun! Then Jack and I bought grosssseries for Sunday. Having a ham and a new recipe for "decodant potatoes." Not exactly for those on a diet. lol Jack emailed Laurel and made a plea for lemon cake with lemon icing. Poor Jack, his wife does not bake for him!
Hoda, honey, I'm so glad you are OK. Probably will be sore tomorrow or Saturday. Even with the fall and, of course, knowing you are mostly well, I think (hope)it was exhilarating at those moments just before the crash. ha Yoga will def help :-)
you bounce well Hoda! looks like I will watch and not type from my phone making too many mistakes! kids are all downstairs playing a game. loce the sound!
Good grief! I leave for a while and what does Hoda do? She transforms herself into a shiny British Columbian flying ski-shod flying garland! Careful what you do Miss Hoda. Holiday time could see you having to fly everywhere only to come to rest in the secret hiding place.
I heard about 2 Momsters falling the other day!Not allowed~~~Hope everyone is feeling OK. Then, Andy gets a house full of bees!!! and now Hoda has been flying down the slopes!!! Not fledging time yet!!!Prayers for all!!
All righty folks....so its just about beddy bye time for Janet....let's not have any falls, spills, or thrills tomorrow please! i don't think my heart can take worrying about you all!!!!
Repumzol Rapunzel!!! JUDYE!!! LYNNE OH MY GOD you sent me to THE TOWER!!! OH NO!!! YOU ARE MY FRIEND!!! Your Most Gracious Highness...all the same Long Live The Queen a few more years so I would not have to go to The Yower yet!
Flying Garlands too? I was not chasing the flying Garland.JUDIE I did not see it!!!
Thank you DANA I am well padded and did indeed bounce well!!!LOL!!!
JANET not yet taking up flying I will heed your advice if you talk to HRH LYNNE!!! No Tower for me!!!
Laughing my head off
Seriously I am well...where we skied today was over my head and so now I know...
Thank you all very very very much...I LOVE US. I am well. Wind beneath my wings indeed GLO!!!I hope I do not have this experience again though!
Yoga went well. Wrist is sore and I will wait and see what tomorrow brings in terms of soreness... Hot baths work...
Hmmmm???? Wonder if they have hot baths in THE TOWER??
Yes, hot showers are good for the aches and pains. Wish I had a hot tub for that reason. I would go out, soak in my tub and stare at the moon. (All with a glass of wine, of course!)
And, speaking of hot showers....I am headed that way.
Hi, Gang, I'm back! We got to move back into the house this afternoon, after going and picking up a super wiggly Emma! No sign of any more bees. Gee whiz, what an experience! I had turned off all the lights in the living room, and shut the shutters, so it was dark as a cave in there. I decided to go get another cup of decaf, so went to the kitchen. Saw a couple of bees in the patio sliders, then there were 5 or so. And then there were 10. All of a sudden, a black swarm as big around as a basketball and about 3 feet long came flying from the living room into the dining room! I wish someone had taken a picture of my face! My jaw hit the floor! Just about that time I decided to bail, and went to the garage at full speed! When the bee men got there they used a "bee vacuum"--a specialized shop vac--to vacuum up the swarm. There were about 10,000 bees in our dining room! They got the queen, and then all the others were attracted to the bee vacuum, which made it easier. They also found a huge swarm on the outside of the house by the dining room, and a smaller one on the chimney. There were bees flying everywhere in both the front and back yard, and quite a few got into the garage. They managed to get almost every one. We only found about half a dozen dead bees inside the house today. I vacuumed very thoroughly so Emma wouldn't get hold of any dead bees. The swarm was taken to a beekeeper, who will provide a hive for them. Hopefully, case closed.
Poor Emma has been sleeping like she's in a coma since she got home! I guess it wasn't very quiet at Petsmart at night. She's got some catching up to do! She ate well while she was there, and went potty OK, and the people there LOVE her! They really fussed over her.
I found out today what the MRI showed. I have one vertebra somewhat out of alignment in my neck, and two herniated discs. I think they are between my 3rd & 4th and 5th and 6th vertebrae. I have an appt. for a follow-up on April 4th with the specialist to decide what to do next. I'm feeling better, but still have some pain, both in my neck and my shoulder and arm. Can't wait to get this fixed!
Well, pretty tired, so calling it a day. Have said prayers for everyone. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, everyone, with SED! God bless and goodnight. I love all of you! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christy♥♥ I ♥ us!!!
Guess SANDI and DANAMO are sleeping in this morning on their days off. Hope you're both enjoying the freedom!
HODA, so relieved that you're okay after your great, super fast ski tumble. WOW! Glad you got up and laughed and had time to appreciate the wind in your face!
Hope everyone has their Easter plans made and shopping is done!
HODA: i will talk to hrh lynne 2....about no beating with wet noodles, nor any other punishment as i am sure this is your first offense.....but i have to admit, as i was going to sleep last night, the song, the old one about the daring young man on the flying trapeze was on my mind:
except the verse talked about our daring young HODA on the high flying skis....
ITS FRIDAY again. it is raining here, which is okay. well not for tom. he's been doing yard projects and if it rains, i suppose he won't make so much progress. he is coming in for a 2 hr massage with another therapist today. i worked on him some last night.
it was beautiful yesterday, about 60 and sunny. today, 60 again, but rainy.
spring break is almost over here. school starts again monday, which willl be April 1. how quickly this year is going!!!
Ms. BOOKWORM: i am so glad that those bees have been evicted! i think i would have wet myself seeing that coming at me. its like a darned horror movie!! other than covering the entrances, any other way they can keep this from happening again? once is bad enough, but twice???????? that's crazy!
well need to get moving on my day. watching our eagles.....brings smiles to my face.
everyone, have a lovely day. light, love, hugs and smiles to all
Another doctor appointment for Annemarie this morning. Hopefully to get clearance to play LAX after get beaned in the nose with a ball. The trainer at the school won't even let her practice even though she feels fine. She apparently didn't "pass" the impact test. Personally I think it's the test du jour. Maybe I'm a bad parent. I don't know anymore. Wish they were back in diapers. Sure was easier.
Trying to think of a project for Spring break. It's been 2 years since I redid my cabinets. I am thinking of painting an old dress red that I have in my kitchen/family room area. I use it to keep all my stuff in for school since I don't get my own office in the house.
Maybe Annemarie and I will go for mani's and pedi's after the doctors...just not sure what to do with all this time on my hands. LOL
Shep just flew in with a stick...Belle finished feeding the kids and took off to the right. Shep is brooding now...LOL, he's trying to get the chicks covered up.
Andy, hoping for the best with your neck problem. You didn't need that bee experience, but hopefully all is well now. Poor Emma, I'm sure she is glad to be home.
I'm off to Good Friday services at noon, then lunch with a friend. Tomorrow may be another trip to Presque Isle State Park to check out more migrant birds.
Dana, I got confused at first--you were going to paint an "old red dress." Since you are a kindergarten teacher, and a very creative one at that, I figured that maybe you were going to paint a dress. Finally decided you are going to paint a dresser. I hope you will provide a picture when you are finished.
Have missed some posts, so maybe you have explained this: What happens with the duck eggs while you are on break? Do you have to go to the school to check on them?
Hoda, I do hope you are not sore today. I had to go read back again this morning. Somehow, I had missed the description of your skiing adventure, thought I knew something had happened because of all of the other comments. When I found it, I realized it was right above my own comment. I think my mind was on the mortgage issues then. So glad you are okay.

I do believe the occupants of the Sycamore Palace should really do some housecleaning. It is a mess!
Lolly, surely you remember the days when you were so busy taking care of your young children that sometimes your house was a mess!? =)
Shammie did a poop shoot--our Hedgie is too refined to do such things on camera.!!
Hoda, honey, I'm so glad you are OK. Probably will be sore tomorrow or Saturday. Even with the fall and, of course, knowing you are mostly well, I think (hope)it was exhilarating at those moments just before the crash. ha Yoga will def help :-)
Wow, walked around the yard, pulled a bucket of weeds and while gone fresh wushi (sp?) was brought in.
Wow, that's a big fish that just appeared in the nest! Would have loved to see the delivery - I was fixing dinner here.

Good grief! I leave for a while and what does Hoda do? She transforms herself into a shiny British Columbian flying ski-shod flying garland! Careful what you do Miss Hoda. Holiday time could see you having to fly everywhere only to come to rest in the secret hiding place.
Glad you are unhurt. Please take care.
This has been quite an eventful day - so
very glad our cam is up/running. The little ones are getting very active!
I may close down for the day - Happy for Dana and Sandi's free time!

Hi, Gang,
I'm back!
I think they are between my 3rd & 4th
and 5th and 6th vertebrae. I have an appt. for a follow-up on April
4th with the specialist to decide what to do next.

Good Good Friday morning my eagle friends!
Bella let me sleep til 6:30! =)
Just heard Belle call out. She is up and must be waiting for her man to relieve her.
Good Good Friday Morning Eagle Friends!
No plans here today, and no snow, either!
Oh, SANDI, you checked in while I was typing. Thought you would sleep later. :)
That is a whale of a fish! Belle is feeding the eaglets now.
Good morning Lori! 6:30 IS sleeping in for me! =)
Yup, that is one big fish! Would have loved to see which parent brought it in - I bet he/she had to take a rest afterwards!
Belle fed the chicks and then took off. Babies were alone for a few and then Shep arrived. He is doing what he does best, sitting on them!
good morning all.
Ms. BOOKWORM: i am so glad that those bees have been evicted! i think i would have wet myself seeing that coming at me. its like a darned horror movie!! other than covering the entrances, any other way they can keep this from happening again? once is bad enough, but twice???????? that's crazy!
well need to get moving on my day. watching our eagles.....brings smiles to my face.
everyone, have a lovely day. light, love, hugs and smiles to all
Good morning!
LOL
Good Morning, JANET, DANA and GLO!
Good morning. My delete. I just needed to put my glasses on. Off to coffee and dog treats. I will check in later
Shep just flew in with a stick...Belle finished feeding the kids and took off to the right. Shep is brooding now...LOL, he's trying to get the chicks covered up.
Wow, Andy, that sounds really scary! Glad you were able to get out without getting stung!
Good morning to all.
Headed to find some coffee.
Shep doing a fine chick-sitting job. Hope to catch a feeding today. Watching them is my excuse to take a break from grading.
Good excuse is also the need to go forage for food at the grocery.
Andy, glad you know what the cause of pain is. Please, surgery only by an experienced neurosurgeon.
Lily's babes are getting cuter by the day. Apparently, personality differences are beginning to emerge.
Wishing all a lovely morning.
Good morning everyone.
Morning all. I see Shep is on duty, but one defiant one is peeking out from under his left shoulder.
Hope everyone has a good day..
Good Morning to all
Just getting some breakfast
I need to read the morning comments
It is so nice to pop up the cam as soon as I sign on...........
BBL
Good morning,
Yikes!!!! Andy, what an experience! I hope they can secure your house so that this does not happen again.
Did someone help you get Emma, your car keys, and some essentials before you went to the hotel?
Hunter is on spring break today and all of next week. Sunshiny outside.
I got so cold yesterday. The temperature was in the 50's, but the wind was bitter.
