Janet, not sure that I recall what you're referring to with Olivia's math. Maybe you've already explained and I missed it or forgot.
Judie, just knowing that you've made your decision to retire at the end of the semester must give you such a good feeling!! My final year in Baltimore County, when we moved here, I had a horrible witch of a principal. I waited until July 15th, the deadline for notifying the school system that I wasn't returning, so all of the good department chairs would already be placed in other schools and she would have a harder time finding a replacement for me. Spiteful yes, but it's what felt right at the time.
Have been watching my goldfinches at the feeder this morning. They're not wearing their "spring feathers" yet, but the color on the males is definitely brighter.
Need to get myself moving and do something. Have a wonderful day everyone!!
I am getting some of the rain now - just sprinkles so far. Lots of egg hunts taken inside I suppose.
This is what the Easter Bunny brought me Vincent is going to be a big brother Heather and Jeff are very excited and in Oct there will be 4 Diritto family members in their home. This will be #13 great grandchild! God is Good All the time....... ♥
Time for me to depart and I will return filled to the gills with all the good foods and my heart will be filled completely with love for my family and friends
Also, thinking of Michael traveling to Ft. Bragg to be with Christine and fam for Easter. What a treat. Very glad he will be with Christine tomorrow. <3
Vegetarian fare for Hoda AND decadent Chocolate Mousse! Wonderful....and Enjoy, Hoda (( Hugs )) ♥
On to the day here, headed to Shepherdstown along the river later....a ways upstream from the Royal Sycamore, but I'll keep an eye out for soaring birds
Happy Blessed Easter to Everyone! See our bird family is having fish appetizer!! What a food drop. Can tell a little rain there with tenting going on. We are just starting to have sprinkles. Glad to hear of all the family and friend get togethers today.
Think I will put an "almost" Easter pic that I emailed to some in the Nook. Enjoy!!~~ ☺ ♥
Congratulations JO #13 enough now for a hockey team plus two spares! LOL!!! I loved the picture on FB and BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Congratulations JUDIE...I am glad you made the decision. You will be amazed as to how you ever found the time to work. Leave it all behind you. You have done a super fantastic job and don't take the negative of the administrators with you...SO freeing. I understand SANDI'S sentiment about holding on till mid July. For me it would have been till the first of September and I just could not do it. I was sure that if I did not leave right then I would get cancer or some major sickness. I was having dreams of having a heart attack and they were not able to revive me!!!You two are probably not as stressed as I was then...BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.
Cutest little things...yep barely heard the knock on the door. I had to bend down to see who was there. "Would you want to do jump rope for heart?" said a little girl...I asked if she wanted me to jump rope for heart and she smiiiiiiled and said "no I jump"...I looked at her envelop and she was looking for sponsors. So so so so so very cute.Could not be anything older than six years old...I sponsored her..."Thank you" she said.
Worried about the drama at the nest again this morning...good reporting all thank you. Glad Belle and Shep were up to the task of protecting the young ones and their nest.
I am so grateful for your friendship and your kindness. Blessed be.
72 here LOLLY. Don't forget pictures of your table and the wonderful food presented.
For breakfast desert, yes it is Easter and I can have breakfast desert, I started on the chocolate mousse...oh yum...also had a hot cross bun!!! Yes MARGY it was deliciously scrumptious.
Just checked in on the nest and see rain there. Sort of foggy and wet here.
Belle seems to be doing her usual mumbrella routine except I did see a bit of gray. A possible escapee?
Hoda, what a sweetheart you are to sponsor the little rope jumper. Super great cause to support.
Taking a break to rest my eyes then headed to the scullery. Don't often prepare ham but will heat a pre-cooked smoked 3lb and make a glaze, add some red smashed potatoes and something green = we're good to go with some sammich stuff left over.
BREAKING NEWS...GOSLINGS TO JUMP MONDAY, 4-1: Our Canada Goose eggs have begun hatching as of Easter Sunday, 3-31, in the Home Tree Nest. Two of the brand new hatchlings are pictured below. All eight of Wilma's eggs are expected to hatch very close together.....within one day. Most likely on Monday, 4-1, ALL OF THE LITTLE GOSLINGS WILL JUMP 35 FEET TO THE GROUND and follow Mom to the pond....with proud Papa Fred bringing up the rear. This is a fascinating glimpse into one of the amazing marvels of nature.....DON'T MISS IT!
What a great EASTER for JO #13 you are one lucky grandma
Me with only 1 but love her like there is 13

Judy - I would love it for you Not to hate holidays. Perhaps your walk on the beach will help after working all day.
Hoda - have you changed your eating habits for just one day? Go for it ♥
YAY ZACH was on the blog!!! Happy Happy Easter ZACH. Say hi to your cousins Jospeh and Jacob.
I am busted JO!!! Overdosed on Chocolate Mousse...I have had my quota for the next couple of months!!! Delicious though. Can I say it is good for me as chocolate has anti oxidents??? LOL!!!
Sorry holidays are tough for you JUDYE I always think the stores should close for the holidays. People can be too greedy sometimes about shopping hours. I remember when the stores used to close.
Home from a nice dinner with Denny and Kevin. We went to a place where a friend of Kevin's is the chef - good food!
Judy, I always feel badly for people who have to work at places that are open on holidays. Like Hoda, I think stores should be closed on holidays. I worked my way through college as a cashier in a grocery store - this was in the 70s. We were closed on Sundays and, guess what? Not one person ever starved b/c they couldn't grocery shop one day a week!
This has been a lazy weekend for me - just what I needed, I think! Gonna watch some TV so I will say goodnight now. See y'all in the AM!
Will be thinking of Christine first thing, hoping her surgery is early and everything goes smoothly>
When I first started working at Walmart we were closed for all holidays because we were a Div 01 store and now being we are a supercenter we are open for the food part which I also think is stupid to be open Peeps need to plan ahead I loved it when the Blue law was in NO one open on Sun but not now days
I just have to bide my times I am goning to retire in a little over TWO years
It was so bad today the crowds and people were upset with us because we sold through 100% of all filled baskets and 99% of candy only jelly beans and the egg carton of marshmallow eggs and grass and lots of MT baskets left
Family gone.....time flew by fast! Thanks to all who responded to Zach. He wanted to get on, but then he flew off. Lots of action with the boys here. We had a great time but it went by too fast. The neighbors knew when Laurel arrrived as they blew the car horn. Then they both left...more blasts of the car horns. They were playing tunes back and forth. lol

I copied and pasted the conversation from FB about the fuzzy camera It was soooo clear when first installed If you have facebook go look at the comparison pic I put up I put 3 pic on one to show
I don't know Judy, I am waiting for it to finish too...don't care for the show myself...so I am catching up on the blog.
Had a great day, big dinner, ham and turkey turned out good. Michael and Laura have long hit the long.
Watched Wreck it Ralph with the kids...they are sleeping over down in the basement.
Larry even got off early cause the store was slow, so he was able to join us just in time for dinner. Don't know why Lowe's was open today, they ended up sending people home cause it was slow.
I think store should be closed on the major holidays too. Our local grocery store was open, but I think they probably closed early.
Sorry I missed Zach on here! The kids finally got to see Belle feeding the chicks in the early afternoon, and later on when Shep and Belle were feeding.
Stopping by to say G'Night to everyone. Hoping all had a terrific Easter. I have hectic work week coming up and a 12 hour day tomorrow, but i will be peeking in on the nest from my netbook at work when I get the chance. I miss them when I can't and they are growing sooo darn fast right now! I love this family and the harmony. So special.
hope everyone has had a lovely day. i enjoyed having my usual set of suspects over for a cook out....it rained til about 4 today. the kiddos went out and blew bubbles and played with chalk. even in this day of high tech goodies, chalk and bubbles still rank high with kids.
JO: so happy for a new addition!!!
JUDYE: hate that you are feeling so blue and hate that you cannot spent it with Angie & crew. hang tough sis.
well closing down for the night. light, love, hugs, and pleasant dreams to all!
Hey guys gotta run something by all of you what I intend on doing
I want to do this and I am not asking anyone for anything just wanted you to know and get your approval to use the names Momster & Dadsters from the blog on the card
I want to send Steven Chase and Clayton the crew that fix the camera something to share I was given a coupon to a place I do business with often and thought this would be a perfect Thank you to them So no ARGUMENTS about this I want to do it and wanted you to know So let me know if its ok to says its from all of us Please and thanks in advance
forgot to say where the place was Edible Arrangements I guess they need the business LOL I received a 50% savings for being a repeat customer in the past. first I was going to just toss it and not use it and then I thought PERFECT and he could share it with them there I would put Steven Chase, Clayton and the Crew responsible for the camera FIX on the card and say to the best Blog Master and Techs from grateful Momsters & Dadsters
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYP See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Just talked with my brother and learned that he is expecting his 7th grandchild, so excited to be expecting another great niece or nephew. This is my chiropracter nephew and his wife who is also a chiropreacter. They have Reece who is almost 2 and now another expected early December. So very very happy for them. They are the cutest couple and just great parents.
Margy, sorry you could not chat with Zach, but he really was not sitting still long enough to do it anyway. He wanted to get on but his attention span was not long enough today. lol
WOW--So glad that Shep got rid of the nest intruder! Those were a scary few minutes!
Hoda, so very sorry to hear that your cousin in Egypt has passed away. Prayers for you and your family, and (((HUGS)))!
I'm very happy to hear that Isla has returned! She is absolutely amazing!
Someone asked whether we were able to go into the house and get some necessities when the bee swarm happened. Ken was brave enough to go get some clothes and toiletries once most of the bees had been vacuumed up. About all we can do to keep this from happening again is to keep checking to make sure all of the vent holes under the eaves have screening in them. I'm still pretty jumpy, and won't leave Emma loose in the house when we go away. I put her in her crate in our bedroom, with the bedroom door closed. She gets a few treats, so she's OK with that. We haven't seen any more bees so far.
Well, pretty tired tonight. Going to call it a day. Have said prayers for everyone, and the porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, everyone, with SED. God bless, and goodnight. I love all of you! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christy♥♥ I LOVE us!
Thanks Lori! Looking for a project to get into. Also started another book last night! Monte calls the Kindle the gift that keeps on taking.
Looking at real estate this morning in Naples. Found some good duplex's. We decided last night that is what we would do. We would go together and get a duplex. If only. Even went on the website for Catholic schools to see if there are any job openings. I think I'm dreaming, but I'm going to go with it for now. Not sure we could really do it, but man do I want to!
Good Monday morning Lori, Janet, Dana, and all my eagle friends!
Judy, what a nice idea to send the Edible Arrangements coupon to Steve and the tech crew at NCTC!
Dana, love your warm weather investment idea! Denny will work until I retire in 3 years. Once we're both retired, as much as we love living in Bethany Beach for most of the year, we don't love it in the winter. We will go south for January - March - not sure where (no further north than South Carolina). Also, I don't think we'll buy a place - we've owned 2 houses at the same time before and then there's always work to be done on them. We're thinking we'll just rent a place for 3 months every year. Nice dream for you and Monte!!
No tennis for me this morning but I am playing the next 3 mornings. Today is a little of this, little of that day.
Prayers for all the needs on our blog, especially Christine today, that her surgery goes smoothly.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDS and thanks for the support on my idea I have a certain time to use the coupon down here to have the items shipped up there Now I just need to make sure they deliver up there I am sure they do AND SIS you are part of us so your vote will count Silly girl you LOL
Judy, when I ordered an Edible Arrangement for my sister and family for Christmas, I just went onto the website and entered their zip code and got the names and phone numbers of all the franchises close to where they live, then called the one closest to them to place the order and set up delivery.
Sun coming up on the nest and Belle. She is brooding the chicks. Nice pink hue. Sun is coming up through the fog here.
What is that all over the tree trunk to the left (the cut off branch) Is that bird poo did some one not ger out of the bowl Or is it fish scales any idea I noticed it yesterday the whiteish color all over it
WOW on the news just now in Hillsborough county they are starting in just 4 schools for now giving kids 3 free meals a day now so they will get dinner That is so good with all the people in need
Judy, pretty sure that's "whitewash" on the tree and that side of the nest. Guess that was the designated bathroom area until the chicks could shoot farther! =)
Very nice to be rid of the virus in my computer. Was sure Rus could do it. It is what he does for a living. He takes care of computers for the federal government.
I had run anti-malware programs, but it was not showing anything. I think this particular virus wasn't really malware. It just wanted to get me to buy stuff from them. Kept advertising things.
I see the white branch on the left, too. Had not really noticed it before. The sun is really highlighting it now. There are some other whitish spots in other places as well. Looks like poop shoot spots to me. There have been plenty of eaglets in this nest. Look at the grass and branches in the 11:00-ish area.
Funny, someone on one of the sites I looked up posted that they loved the program everyone else said was a virus. Rus said that it might have been from whoever was creating the virus.
Need to get rolling here. Supposed to get bloodwork, etc., for the colonoscopy and deliver the paperwork to the surgery center. Colonoscopy is on Monday, April 8. Susan will come down to help me that day.
Gotta pick up the "stuff" for the preparation for the procedure, too. Yuck. But the prep has improved over the years since I had to call the doctor and say I could not finish.
Glad Ken was able to get back in to get necessities from your house, Andy. Would have been most inconvenient to go without. Was thinking that you would need credit cards, money, identification, etc., to get into a hotel, but guess Ken had that with him since he was not at home when the bee horde revealed itself.
I cringe every time I think about that. It really sounds like a Hitchcock movie.

Jerry, enjoy your vacation. Glad your MIL is doing well.
Belle has herself all tented out over the chicks. Sounds like the rain has started in WV. Gray and chilly here but the rain is coming.
Janet, not sure that I recall what you're referring to with Olivia's math. Maybe you've already explained and I missed it or forgot.

Good and Blessed Easter everyone!

Belle really has her wings spread now.

Just a quick peek in and then I am gone. See you this evening.

Quick mid-morning hello.
Belle chick-sitting. Actually, glad I have not looked in at a time of drama. Makes me nervous.
Congratulations Mema Jo. What a wonderful Easter announcement.
Ah Sandi, we're on the same "spitey" page, I think. Could compromise and go for mid-July -- birthday present to myself.
Okay, back to reading papers.

Oh raining in earnest now at the nest...but the temperatures are moderate (well, in the 40's at least)
Shep makes a great Dadbrella,
protector, sentry, food provider...and so on like that !
and Mombrella Belle does the same as well.
Always enjoy reading about the doins' amongst us, and wishing all, continued joy and contentment as the day progresses

Delicious Easter Meal JUDIE...good to have sandwich makings too.
Shep just arrived with another fish. Belle was already feeding the chicks. Now both are feeding them - what a sight!!
Jo, what wonderful news about a new great grandchild!! Congrats to the whole family!
Belle is taking bits of food from Shep and feeding it to the chicks - love it!
OMG, how precious is that...Shep is giving food to Belle and then she is giving it to Hedgie! Is Shamie full or just too lazy to get up and eat?
Looks like they are both getting full.
Shep was gorging on something Belle took it from him. He walked around to get it back closer to the cup. Belle is feeding...Shamrock's turn.
I love the sound of the soft chirps.
Belle takes to wing. Shep still eating.
He realizes Belle is gone, stops eating and goes to cover the eaglets. They are wiggly...

You can hear Belle check on her wing she has a itch A BIG ONE
chew is what I wanted to say where in the world did check come in Chew on her wing LOL
And yes, Hoda, chocolate has antioxidants!
JudyE, delayed until 9:40..20 more minutes...
So special.
G"Night and SEDs to all á•™(`▽´)á•—
hope everyone has had a lovely day. i enjoyed having my usual set of suspects over for a cook out....it rained til about 4 today. the kiddos went out and blew bubbles and played with chalk. even in this day of high tech goodies, chalk and bubbles still rank high with kids.

JUDYE: hate that you are feeling so blue and hate that you cannot spent it with Angie & crew. hang tough sis.
well closing down for the night. light, love, hugs, and pleasant dreams to all!

JudyE, that is a very nice thought. I think they would enjoy it.
Sandperson is out and about and the night light is on.
Looks like Belle is still awake.
Restful sleep for all.
Time for me to say good night. All of my children came to have dinner, and we had a nice visit.
And, thank goodness, Rus slayed the virus in my computer.
Good night, SED, everyone. Hope your day was good.
How nice of you, Judy. I am sure they will enjoy it very much.
Yay for Rus, Shirley!
Lolly, that's wonderful news. Any recent pics of Reece?

Paula, no real recent pics but here are a couple of cute pictures of Reece.
Great nephew Reece
Margy, sorry you could not chat with Zach, but he really was not sitting still long enough to do it anyway. He wanted to get on but his attention span was not long enough today. lol
Heading to bed. I have passed out once already.
Night all! I love us! SED!!!
Thanks to Hoda! She sent Zach a test! lol
Make that "text".
Good Evening!
Hope everyone has had a truly blessed Easter!

Good morning!
Can't believe how big the eaglets are already! WOW!
So Sandi, what do you have on tap today? Tennis?
I am so enjoying knowing that I have the whole week off and then the weekend!!! Ah...
Might go in and check my eggs today. Maybe candle them again and see what is growing.
Make it a great day all!
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDS
and thanks for the support on my idea I have a certain time to use the coupon down here to have the items shipped up there
Now I just need to make sure they deliver up there I am sure they do
AND SIS you are part of us so your vote will count Silly girl you LOL
lots of geese going by now
Judy, when I ordered an Edible Arrangement for my sister and family for Christmas, I just went onto the website and entered their zip code and got the names and phone numbers of all the franchises close to where they live, then called the one closest to them to place the order and set up delivery.
Sun coming up on the nest and Belle. She is brooding the chicks. Nice pink hue. Sun is coming up through the fog here.
FLUGG delievery
and he places it on her back
Shep just brought in fresh grass and is gently placing it on Belle's back! =)
That is quite a big of flugg here its is on here and extends to the edge of the nest draped over the edge
Good morning,
Very nice to be rid of the virus in my computer. Was sure Rus could do it. It is what he does for a living. He takes care of computers for the federal government.
I had run anti-malware programs, but it was not showing anything. I think this particular virus wasn't really malware. It just wanted to get me to buy stuff from them. Kept advertising things.
Lovely view in our nest this morning. Two little babies in the morning sunshine.
I see the white branch on the left, too. Had not really noticed it before. The sun is really highlighting it now. There are some other whitish spots in other places as well. Looks like poop shoot spots to me. There have been plenty of eaglets in this nest. Look at the grass and branches in the 11:00-ish area.
I remember having seen the same type of thing around other nests.
Wonder if Shep places the flugg on Belle's back as a way of saying, "Here, dear, place this where you want it to be."
Gotta pick up the "stuff" for the preparation for the procedure, too. Yuck. But the prep has improved over the years since I had to call the doctor and say I could not finish.
I hear baby eagle cries. They want mom and dad.
Shep often makes me smile. He has some pretty cute quirks about him. Off to coffee and dog treats. Wishing everyone a good day.
Fish delivery!!!
Hollering kiddies!
I think someone on cam, too!
Both Mom and Dad are here and in the nest now.
Belle stays. Shep departs.
Shep just brought fish for breakfast! Heard Belle's siren going off and knew food had arrived.
And breakfast is served.
Yummy fish!! Satisfied chirps from the kiddies.
Now they are being covered with flugg. Wonder why Belle is doing this?
Must get busy. Things to do. Places to go. BBL.
Uh oh, Belle is calling out and watching something!
WE HAVE A NEW THREAD AND I HAVE A NEW FEATHER!
