LINDA, how is the tapping/sapping of the maple trees going? Glad Dennis is feeling well enough to get outside and do something.
I got a lot of errands done yesterday, so today the rest of the packing remains to be done. I'll be leaving for PA tomorrow morning. The weather forecast still says it's supposed to be a sunny day, which makes me feel a lot better about driving so far!
Lots to pack, nice clothes, just in case and for church, warm clothes for sure, and comfy round-the-house-clothes, plus all the toiletries, etc...and SHOES!
Don't know how long I'll be there before I come back to get my taxes done. Kate is already planning to come up for a few days with Dalai!!!
My weekend has felt to empty not having to do all the station website stuff. Glad that part is over!
Belle is up and chirping and just poofed.

When I was going to and from and to and from a few times to The Big House...I had all those things to
pack also !
And it was only a few miles
away and I could stop at The Roost
every day....
but it takes some fancy-dancing
to get it all together !

stickers and stamps...ha ha, I
had a Mess of that kind of stuff !
And the lounge around the house
clothers were some of the most important items I packed!

and binoculars...
it all went, and came back ☺

Morning eagle friends. Shep is holding down the windy fort presently.
Lori, I don't know about Blackberry, but the iphones should be updated from time to time. This is done by attaching the phone to your computer via the charging cord to a USB port and accessing the itunes site. It automatically installs new features, fixes bugs and downloads your photos to computer. My Christmas present to myself was a new iphone 5, which I love.

HODA: yes, wiped out not only from the teaching, but passing attunements. that metaphysical energy surge wipes me out .... i took half of both classes and amie (My friend and the person whom i have mentored) took have the classes, but i was just completely wiped out and asleep by 9 p.m. ready to rock it again today though!!!!!
STRONGHUNTER; we have dealt with dogs and fences...Luke, our old guy who passed in Sept had a great sense of humor. (we called him Luke after COOLHAND LUKE the movie) He would get out of the fence, come the the front door and sit there and wait for us and for all the world looked as if he were laughing! He calmed down in his older years, of course, but he was the darndest dog! I miss him. Sable doesn't care to leave the yard....but we know Scout was found wandering ...that was WHY she was at the doggie pound.....and noone came looking for her. COULD Mean someone let her free accidentally on purpose, ya know? or she could have escaped.....but thinking we need reinforcement.....and that would be easier than trying to completely redo the fence in the back yard....
LINDA: we were looking at the DIY fence. it is rather expensive to have it installed. Tom is pretty handy and I think we can do it.....just needed some input from those who may know...so thank you.....
Need to get moving; sable needs her meds and cats need their breakfast...my coffee has been consumed and my mind is now awake. i was a goofball and set me alarm for 5:30 instead of 6:30. it was nice to know i could sleep for another hour.....BUT........would have rather not had that interruption. feeling great this morning though. enjoyed watching the DAYTONA races last night....tomorrow is 12 years since DALE SR died.....funny how you remember that stuff, even though I never was a big DALE fan...he was the epitome of what a race car driver is/was (opinion only of course) .....but his unfortunate death brought about many safety changes for current drivers. just a shame it takes such a death for the positive to occur....
enough of that!

Good morning everyone. Sounds like a beautiful sunrise at the nest. I missed it. We were at coffee and dog treats. Dex has decided he no longer likes to go for a ride. I am sad and confused by this. He won't sit in his doggie seat he has loved for many years. He jumps out blindly which also concerns me. When he gets to the seat he is trembling. I am hoping it is because with winter his rides do not end at the Marina where he walks but more often at the Vets where we go once a month now for check up and meds. I don't walk him at Marina in winter anymore do to last years pit bull incidence. Come spring we must make some daily trips and walks there. I hope that is the problem and he learns once again to love to go for a ride. HAGD all.

Good morning. Have not ventured out of my room yet, but I heard Luna barking upstairs this morning, which means she most likely did stay all night in Hunter's room. He did take her doggie bed up there, but I do not know where she actually slept.
When we get the new bed set up, there is not likely to be room for her to be there with him. And she has a tendency to take over the whole bed if given the opportunity, big dog that she is.
But there will be more space for her bed on the floor. We got a twin-sized bed so that Hunter will have more floor space. However, this neat bed converts to a double as well.
Oh, Glo, I hope Dex finds joy in his daily rides again soon.
Janet, Luke does sound like quite the character.
We are missing Flash's happy barking that always greeted family members' arrivals. He was the one who always let me know someone was here.
Oh my, Shirley.....sad but
heartwarming, these things you share with us.
Glo....am saddened by your report on little Dex's changes...maybe when Springtime returns, he will be more like his ol' normal self.

Hoda, I am feeling bad that you are not getting this dog. However, she would have had to gone through the medical exam and shots, and then transferring her. I think she is too tiny and fragile to travel alone. She really is a little thing!
