Her Most Serene Highness is Princess Charlene of Monaco...they are more affiliated with the Catholic Church hence her Title.Prince Albert the Second is His Most Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco.

HRH are blood royals to the British Throne. For Example Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge is not a blood Royal and she is supposed to curtesy to those who are. When she is with Prince William she is introduced as HRH. She is not a Princess. When William ascends the throne she will be Queen Concort.

Wishing you well with the move tomorrow YRH LYNNE.

I have finished my reading for tonight and ready for bed.

I did not like the socks either, the ones with the indiviual toes. Hard to put on, too.

Heres to HRH, may her day be serene.

Prayers for the Riffes...not far from our minds and hearts.

See you in the morning light! SED

Good Morning Everyone!

Happy Saturday!

GRANNYBLT, have a great time searching for your Harlequin Duck! That sounds so fun!

LYNNE2, hope everything goes smoothly today and you get it all done - as much as you have planned. I'm so happy for you!

PAULA, we have ice here this morning, too...a little "crusting" of it. Nice that Larry will be in Frederick!

HODA, it's okay with me - you wear socks with your sandals anytime you like...you, too, MARGY! Personally, I love wearing socks with Birkenstoks! So comfy.

Suppposed to go get my do done today, but not if this ice sticks around. Hope it melts soon! The is one big patch of black ice on the parking pad in the back of the house, right now. I'll use that as my sample. Just glad the wind has died down!

Prayers for all in need, JO, The Riffe Family, DANAMO's Dad, T-Bird's BIL, SANDI's Mom, WV Jerry's MIL, GLO's MIL.

SHARON & ANDY, hope your pain lessens today and you're able to get some comfort.

GLO, is today the day you were supposed to have that big storm, or was that yesterday?

magpie said...

EAGLE AT BWO...
NICE, TO BE ABLE TO SEE THAT AGAIN

glo said...

Good morning all. Going to have some breakfast and head to the Marina. I don't really expect much action as our eagle counts are down but with the cold and snow we can hope. Lori The big snow was Thurs but ours turned into about 3 inches of heavy wet stuff. More snow in forecast for Mon night and Tues though. We shall see. Prayers for lynne2 as she moves and the Riffes' as they celebrate what was a pretty awesome woman. HAGD all.

Judie said...

Good morning. Rainy here.

Hoda, so sorry about the avalanche victim.

Happy Moving Day for HRH Lynne2 and Steve.

Sandi, so glad the students took seriously the boy with the knife. Relieved no one was injured.

A day for funerals. Darth and I will attend a service today. Hope the Riffe family will celebrate their Granny's life with peace and acceptance.

Glo, enjoy the marina. Are you taking Dex today?

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

paula eagleholic said...

My live feed was stuck...Belle on the nest...Shep just brought in some flugg, lots of it!

Lolly said...

Time for a quick GOOD MORNING and then I am off!

Need to eat a bit and then we head out. I will go to basketball and Jack gets the cold soccer game. lol Then at 2 choose which game to watch. I will probably go with Jacob...less stress. lol They are in the same gym but at different ends. Very large gym at the U of North TX., so can not see both games at once.

Also, we are delivering a chiminea to the Fritz family. They left the old one behind, as it was in bad condition. This one used to be Michael's but they have a fireplace on their patio.
We have stored it out behind the shop.

Gotta go. Thinking of HRH and her royal pain as they move, as well as thinking of the Riffes today as they say good bye.

Have a good day!

paula eagleholic said...

raining at the nest.

paula eagleholic said...

think Shep brought food, Belle is squealing...yup she's eating...

paula eagleholic said...

Good boy Shep...

He took off...she is devouring at noonish

Linda said...

Good Morning....

Getting an even later start today!
I thought I posted a while ago
after I caught up on my reading!

Looks like the weather is just south of where Lynne and Steve are and they may just be getting a few scattered showers. I hope that is the case.

magpie said...

my goodness on the still cam
eagle looks like it's standing on its head ☺

paula eagleholic said...

She is done eating and back on the eggs....transmission not very good today at all

Linda said...

Guess Belle was hungry, huh?

magpie said...

I guess because it is only two-dimensional

Good Morning More Eagle Pals !

Linda said...

Lots of buffering today on the live feed.

It was doing really good once they adjusted things. Maybe they will need to tweek things a bit more!

magpie said...

Linda...
totally enjoyed the
information on your
trees past and present

Linda said...

Dennis sure loves his fruit trees!!

Hopefully the ones he has planted here will take off one of these days, MARGY. The deer find a way to destroy a couple or more each year and he has to start all over again.

Even with the electric fence, they sometimes get through when the bottom is covered in snow, I think they can get through without a shock.

paula eagleholic said...

Eagle at BWO

Linda said...

Looks like a wet eagle, Paula!

Sandi said...

I just came across Bandit's Thundershirt. I cannot put it on him anymore b/c he tries to bite anyone who tries to hold him in place and/or touch his stomach. I think he only wore it once or twice before his dementia started.

It's a size small so it's for dogs 15-25 pounds. I even have the package that it came in! If anyone on the blog can use it, I would be happy to ship it. Seems a waste to just let it sit in a closet.

Mema Jo said...

Good late morning - I was here much earlier but got side tracked. Dismal day with grey skies but no rain yet.

Lynne and Steve - the best of everything in your future with windows♥

Watching Blackwater nest and any updates from Lisa. Sure am hoping for a Pip! I like being able to check the osprey platform.

paula eagleholic said...

Shep is back

paula eagleholic said...

Fishing must be good today...he brought Belle another fish!

paula eagleholic said...

Must have been small...gone in 30 seconds!

Belle departs to the right...Shep's turn for egg duty

stronghunter said...

Good afternoon,

Oh, socks with individual toes. I do not think I would want to wear those. They look cute, but uncomfortable.

Kathryn is working today. Hunter is with his dad, so it is just Will and me around the house.

stronghunter said...

Time to find some food.

paula eagleholic said...

Hey folks, we are only 3 weeks away from hatching at our nest...

magpie said...

It is going to be here before we know it, Paula ☺

magpie said...

oh I am confused
the BWE was on 15 sec refresh
now it is on 20-second
but Wooo-eee so is the Osprey cam
makes sense to keep it the same I guess

paula eagleholic said...

Yea, they have to watch how many pics they upload.

paula eagleholic said...

Temp here is 50° now.

Actually hauled some donation things outta here today...that really felt good!

Working on Michael's old closet...had to send him a pic of something I found in there...we had a good laugh.

magpie said...

makes sense all right, about the BW nests, thanks Paula...

I can get energized about making donation piles...it's the things I don't really want to give away but know I need to that makes it tough!

things I just don't room for, gotta "cut the cord" and let 'er rip I guess

Bravo to all making great headway along these lines

Got the do done this morning and the only thing I've done is take my Dad on a drive up to the gas well to check on it...and another trip out the road to the mailbox. Both needed to be done, but were great for getting him outside and out of the house for a little bit at a time.

Hope LYNNE2's move is humming along and she's managed to snag the chair for herself! :)

Looks like the sun is out in Shepherdstown. Still gray and drizzly here. Good day for cleaning the upstairs.

Need to grocery shop this evening and then we're going to watch Argo on demand. I'm worried that it might be too intense for me in light of Brian's job so I didn't want to spend the money to see it in the theater and then have to ask Denny to take me home. This way, if it's too upsetting for me, I can just leave the room, plus the investment will only be %4.99 rather than the cost of 2 movie tickets.

Thinking of HRH LYNNE and hoping all is going well.

PRAYERS To the RIFFES and God Rest GRANNY RIFFE'S SOUL.

Awesome day here. I saw a license plate that read:
Y B AVRG
Why indeed.

So many workshops offered in town about fruit tree prunning and seed exchange and while it is snowing it has a spring like feel to it.

This week I will go out skiing three times. Friends I encountered invited me out and I said yes. So Skiing Sunday, Monday and Thursday.

Merchants are generous with their donations to our Silent Auction for the Canadian Federation of University Women April AGM. Today I collected two very beautiful figurines, some books some scarves and put in applications to a Wellness Basket from the co-op and another application for coffee and chocolate baskets from Oso's...they make wonderful gift baskets and so we are happy with it all...

I went to the Gym for an hour and a half this morning and then went out to breakfast and then went to collect the donations. It is absolutely beautiful with the blue skies and the white snow capped mountains. Walking is not treacherous even though I used my trekking poles just to make sure.

I was hoping to hear from HRH LYNNE by now...it is almost five PM your time!!!

LORI did you get your do done?

I ♥ US.

Hoda said...

JO Did she say how things are going? Where you able to chat or to text? Hope all is good with HRH!

We be home! Joseph lost his soccer game and then lost his basketball game. So, his bb is over and his soccer is just beginning. Jacob won both of his games so they play again next weekend. Have to say they are undefeated and that is because of the coaches son. He is a basketball playing demon!!! lol He is a third grader that is an unbelievable player.

Wondering about Lynne and hoping her move is serene. lol We moved the chiminea to Denton. Glad to have that over with.

Jacob missed his first baseball practice today. Wish the sports would not overlap.

Lolly said...

Had to laugh. Luke wanted me to pick him up and hold him. A different dog from last weekend when Miss T was still there.

Lolly said...

The cam is so quiet. Ok, now hear the geese.

Hoda said...

LOLLY what is a Chiminea? I do not have a mental picture of what that might be...I come up with chimney but I am sure that is not it at all.

PRAYING that the injuries are not serious or life threatening SHIRLEY. Did the driver make it out alive if the car disintegrated so badly...was it more than one car? Was it a collision or was it the speed that made the car disintegrate like that??? Sorry for the ignorant questions I know nothing about auto racing.

Judie said...

Good evening.

Was going to make some comments but after reading Hoda's post, I'm exhausted.

JudyEddy said...

OH that wreck is horrfic 15 spectators are injured I saw it on the news I have one good thing to say it lucky that it wasn't tomorrow race the grandstands would had more people in it If you notice on the pictures the first rows are empty All the drivers are ok the guy that went in to the fence looks like a baby soooo young HODA I bring over it to the blog if I can find the story I am sure its on my news station will go look

Mema Jo said...

Hoda -Google says that a chiminea, is a freestanding front-loading fireplace or oven with a bulbous body and usually a vertical smoke vent or chimney. Lolly was taking one to Denton

Anxious to hear from Lynne and Steve

Dinner is over - nothing like homemade chicken noodle soup warmed up! So Good

Hoping LYNNE isn't wearing herself out....

And hoping she will check in with us soon!

Hoda said...

LINDA don't encourage JUDIE she is playing top secret agent and she is not telling us what she is up too. This is only a cover...we have to discover what she is up to? Threatening her with DRAGON visits does not seem to phase her so can you imagine the power she is harnessing...maybe we will all march over there with our eagle canes to discover what she is up to??? LOL!!!

Lori O. said...

Hi LINDA!!!
Hope you are having a good weekend.

Waiting to hear from LYNNE2 on how the move went, and KAY.

Hoda said...

Oh I like Chimenea...wonderful fire and there are some earthern ones and some cast iron ones...very nice idea to have.

magpie said...

Oh Lori...
by the way, I meant to say,
Good on You for your accomplishments today !
Starting with yourself ☺

I have to ask, can you say more about the Gas Well? sounds
interesting...

Walk was good, it takes me about 44 minutes to walk a mile, it is a good walk. Safe. Paved surfaces.

See that big old Moon...it goes fully FULL Monday afternoon.

magpie said...

I think I am going to pass on watching the wreck, but
thanks anyway, JudyE....

deal with too much of that
at the workplace

But I offer prayers for those that are injured, now horrible that must be to go through

Lolly said...

Jo, you did a good job of describing a chiminea. We love ours and Laurel and Joey love theirs. We have them on our patios and burn pinion wood in them. Smell so good and are fun on cool nights spent outside. They are made in Mexico. We bought ours when we went to south Texas and brought back two, one for Michael and one for Laurel. When Michael moved to his new home we brought his here to store as an extra. Now that Laurel needed a new one....we had it!

Chiminea

The boys like to roast marshmellows.

Lolly said...

Oh, and our was not as expensive as that. Ours are completely made of clay.

magpie said...

and if we were not tired reading about Hoda's activities, we surely were after reading about Joseph and Jacob! Bet they worked up some voracious appetites....
glad for the victories....sorry about the losses, and about the missed baseball practice...
Wonderful, that they are so athletic, Lolly and Jack

Good evening folks. Hope all is well with everyone.

My birding friend and I saw the Harlequin duck on the Allegheny river, just as had been reported. The 'rest of the story' is that when we stopped for lunch, I mentioned to the restaurant owner that my late cousin and her family had lived in Freeport (about 50 miles from where I live) for many years. It turns out this person was a good friend.

Looking forward to hearing if HRH and family are moved in and putting their feet up. Hope it went smoothly.

SED to all

We are waiting for our HRSereneH to report in.

Thinking I am going to watch a movine tonight. Jack is off to the study to watch hockey. He likes to watch it in there as he is closer to the screen. Also, he can easily get on the PC in breaks. No fire tonight...going to put a lap blanket over my legs.

Had to recover from my exhaustion just reading Hoda's laundry list of activities. Whew! Chocolate coffee beans? Well, no wonder she's "wired" to the max.

The wannabe adults are really fun this semester. My buddy in the psyc. dept. and I were honored last Wed. night as two of the top five athletes' professors of the year. So gratifying to know students do appreciate what we do.
Especially nice is that GDub has ~240 students who are on the Dean's list. What I hadn't planned on was the halftime announcement of my upcoming retirement. I guess that eagle is out of the nest. May return to finish the 2013 year but currently think this is my last semester. Will stay with the police, though.

So, hoping HRH is zonked out and refueling for tomorrow. I really am so happy they have a decent place of their own now.

What? Stop it! @#$%*! The sandperson really has an attitude tonight. Grumbling about "the schedule" being screwed up because I'm on the computer. So, the night light is on, sandperson is departing, restful sleep for all.

magpie said...

Well Judie...guess the cat is out of the bag with that announcement....it sounds like a pretty smart move allrighty...
especially if you are really ready for that.
What a lovely honor for you and your friend in the psych department...those students ARE smart!

JUDIE - Nice to know you are appreciated for the hard work and devotion to teaching you have done over the years!!

Congratulations on the upcoming retirement!!
I would think that after the summer, it may be
difficult to go back for one more semester, but
I know you will make the right decision!!

Also happy to hear you have a good group of
students this semester........unike last semester...

Might as well go out happy with the semester
you have completed. Who knows what the next
wanna be adults will be like!!

YAY So MISS JUDIE is going to retire!!! YAY YAYA YAY you will love it JUDIE and you will wonder how you ever found time to work!!!

The Sandman is not complaining about you still being on the computer he was telling you his assignment in Western Canada BC in particular and Nelson specifically is unreasonable and he can not do anything about it...those chocolate coffee beans are deadly!!! Yes MARGY you crunch them and they are delicious. I expect I will see sunrise!!! Yet I am headed out skiing in the morning so need to get some sleep!!!

Hoda said...

I will go do some relaxing yoga poses and some meditation.

See everyone tomorrow...I need to stay away from the computer so I can get some sleep.

Hi! I watched Dream Girls tonight. Had never seen that movie. Really enjoyed it and now I know why Jennifer Hudson won her award. Wow!

Yes, Laurel has had a cold this week. Her throat has hurt terribly, cough, headache..you know the drill. Bless her heart, she never slowed down, kept on working, kept on DOING EVERYTHING BY HERSELF!!!! She got the cold from Joey, who took several days off. Why are some men such wimps?
Oh, forgot, she got a fever blister, too.

stronghunter said...

Hope Laurel feels better very soon, Lolly. No fun to keep working when you're sick.

Time for me to crawl under the covers.

SED, everyone.

God bless.

Lolly said...

Anxious to hear from, how did you say it, Hoda?, Her Most Serene Royal Highness.

Judie...congratulations on the up coming retirement. You are going to love it!!! And, it is so great that this is a good class...way to go out.

My year was my best year, my only year of all day kinder.

And speaking of education. Heard on the news tonight that Texas has now dropped to 49th on what they spend per student on education. Dear Perry is ruining Texas Education. He brags that Texas is so great economically...b...s....! That man makes me so sick!!!

Lolly said...

Thank you, Shirley. She is on the mend. She was a little better today. It is times like this I really wish we lived closer. I could fix meals, help her catch up on laundry, etc.

Oh, just read back a bit and saw Judie's post. Congratulations on being recognized for your loyalty to the athletes! Would have loved to have heard the announcement at halftime! And glad that your wannabe adults have been fun this semester.

Good that you will continue to work with the police.

I am ready for the pillow.
Came back to see if Lynne, I mean if HTH, had checked in. Guess she is too pooped to pop! As in pop in!

Nite all1 SED!!!

Hi, Gang,
Dropping in to say goodnight after a nice lazy Saturday. I'm really babying my sore neck/shoulder, after doing so much on the computer yesterday. It's helping, too. I can see this is going to be a long, slow process to get back to normal, but each day it's a little better, so can't complain.

Hoping that Lynne & Steve's move went smoothly, and that we'll hear from Lynne tomorrow.

Judie, that's so nice that the students have recognized you and your colleague for your loyalty to the athletes!

Hoping that Laurel feels better pronto, Lolly! Whatever she has does NOT sound like fun!

Been thinking of the Riffe family today, and hope things went as well as possible for them today. Prayers continue!

Well, I feel a face plant coming on, so better say goodnight. I've said prayers for everyone, and the porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. SED, everyone!
God bless, and goodnight.

Hoda said...

No way josé!!!
No can do!!!

WIDE AWAKE!!!

I think JUDIE should have a serious talk with the Sandman and how he is failing in his duties.

LOL!!!

Note to Self: "Chocolate covered coffee beans to be consumed only early morning"

Hoda said...

Thought I would have a visit with MISS BELLE!!

Well NOT!!!

She is fast asleep doing a face plant!!!

Whom can I phone to talk to this hour of the night???Maybe Edward in Greece? That would be fun...I wonder if I could get him on skype?

Hoda said...

Well no go!!!

Edward is not on line!!!

I will go give my bed another go!!!

GOOD MORNING ONE EAGLEBUDLETS

I got work up with eagle chirping at 610 but rolled over and went back to sleep forgot to turn the sound down last night I guess

We sure have a fluffy looking nest this am

JudyEddy said...

Looks like HODA was bouncing off the wall last night from all those chocolate covered coffee beans Her poor body will be mad at her LOL

Eagle chirping and spinning arrow

JudyEddy said...

just laughed at my good morning ONE eaglebudlet Don't have any idea why or when I put one in there funny anyway how they fingers type not what we want LOL OK I am sticking with blaming my fingers LOL

Sandi said...

Good Sunday morning my eagle friends!

Hope Hoda is finally getting some sleep!

Judie, congrats on this possibly being your final semester!! So envious! As someone said last night, I would think it would be very hard, after having the summer off, to go back for just the fall of 2013.

Hoping Lynne and Steve and all the animals enjoyed their first sleep in their new digs!

Also hoping Bev's Tom is feeling better and Granny Riffe's funeral went well, with lots of laughter and good memories mixed in with the tears.

Lolly, I sure do undertstand that it's easier for a teacher to go to school sick than it is to write sub plans! Also, I think MOST men are wimps when it comes to being sick!

Andy, glad to hear that the shoulder is doing better. Hope the same is true with Sharon's hip.

Dana, so this is the week. Is Dad's surgery on Thursday?

Lori, what is a gas well?? Hope your Dad is doing OK - having you there must surely cheer him up!

Tennis at 10 for me and then getting all the tax stuff together to give to the accountant.

Sun is supposed to reappear today and temps should be a little warmer. Love that the daylight hours are so much longer. Daylight savings time coming up soon!

Make it a great day all!
