Hot diggity dog, 3 feathers in a row! Thanks Steve.
For those of you not on Facebook, I posted my pictures of the grosbeak and cardinal on my blog under "my wildlife".
Re: Lynn's passing one week ago.I have spent the last week compiling all your warm memories of Lynn, and sympathies to her daughters and each other. And I must say: You've done her proud!
Home for lunch and find a 1hour old thread with three comments on it THANKS FOR THE NEW THREAD STEVE

WOO HOO! Just took the dogs out for a walk and passed the BB house (babes are gone) and lo and behold, I have a pair of TREE SWALLOWS sitting on and checking the box out!
Thanks Steve for the new thread and Sharon for the call over. Shar, are you just lucky or are you spending every waking moment checking for a new thread? That grosbeak (sp?) is gorgeous - have never seen one! WOW! Judie, I will share your thoughts about the shrinking tub conspiracy with Dennis. The current trend is to make things larger b/c, as a society we are getting wider, not skinnier! Am axious to hear what the plumber was able to do for us. Hope Grace and Audrey are doing OK and the call from the vet comes soon - the waiting is very anxietproducing!Lynne2, congrats on seeing that first hummer!!!Will light a candle for Lynn at 5:45PM and say a special prayer for Carolyn and Christie and all of Lynn's family.
Forgot to check the little box - oops!
Lynne2 - teh avatar...fantastic...."good friend" of mine sent me the Charley Harper in Audubon Magazine link....Wheeeee doggy !Hi Eagle Pals! Thanks for the NEW THREAD Steve,no matter where I come in these days it is always NEW to me. LOL

Sharon:dazzling photos of the two Misters !!!I'm packing my bags for Bluefield right now !
The whole family was in the nest I loved watching the chicks watch them fly offf they stretched their necks big time watching them
I tried two times to load the live feed while I was typing and tending to some work things, did not see anything...will try again.
DANA did you see how the chicks watched as he flew off Ok now back to work I have 1 hour to take off and I have decided to leave a hour early instead of a longer lunch and I know they won't like it but tuff nuggies its my choice they ask me to stay and I should be able to do what I wish Ya think It will probably bite me in the butt later on down the road there is a report leaving tooo early before end of shift Oh well tuff nuggies again LOL BBL HAGD
I had to keep trying toooo Margy when I came home to get live feed
I pinched the blooms off the marigolds Dana, and now lots more new ones are coming in ☺Hello to Everyone, Yikes, I have never been so many hours away from the blog as in the last 3 weeks.....I gotta go make more dough $$Hope the Evening is a Good One....xoxoxox ttfn ♥
Oh Magpie, I would absolutely love to see you come to Bluefield!
Margy, I got the link from friend on FB, and went straight to the library to get (the only) book of his pictures....LOVE them!
Hi all,Still no call from the vet. Anxiety level is increasing.Babes are looking big and, sad to say, practicing to fly high.Jo, hope you are feeling better and apologize for not saying that earlier. Sandi, the "Let's Grow Large" posse is the secret society of fast food eateries. Food police want skinny and are in cahoots with bath/shower union. lolSick of these stupid papers. I fear for the future!Wish we could have some interesting birds here. Mostly robins, several cardinals, blue jays, and adorable gold finches. Nothing exotic such as buntings and blue birds.Bye
Hi Margy. So nice to see you stop by. Have a nice afternoon.
Yes JudyE it was so touching watching the chicks watch him fly like that. Wondering if they were thinking, "one day we will do what Dad is doing". :)Margy so happy they are doing so well for you and that you are happy with them.♥
Thanks Judie...sure have been missing out on news, so next time I check I hope to see that you have heard from the VET....and that Jo is feeling 100%and that you are happily done with the academic shenanigans for the semester
Lynne2: I betcha our source is the same on those Charley Harpers!there was an exhibit at Roger Tory Peterson Institute awhile back, where my naturalist pal works....breathtaking, what an eye for artistic expression he has !!!xoxo
Judie, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you wait to hear from the vet. YOU call them!! Our clients are invited to call as often as they want to when patients are in hospital! We know people are anxious and have no problem having them call.
I'll bet it was Margy! I am using the Migrants picture as my cover photo on facebook! His pictures are really adorable!
So Lynne2 when that exhibit was at RTPI I could access the site from there and went from link to link and it was wonderful....might have to get me some greeting cards....have received some nice Christmas cards of his art, from a couple of folks in the past...OK! end of the workday work whistle is going to shriek here shortly for meTTFN xoxxo Hoping for some time with a special gal pal later on ☺ ☺
Judie, I too was going to suggest you call the vet.
We could all call the vet!Girl Power...okay gotta go I think there is a Smoothie in my future tonight ☺ xoxo Love you, Precious Pals ♥
Okay, bird inventory so far today:Rose-breasted grosbeak (male), titmice, chickadees, Mr. and Mrs. Cowbird, catbird, blue jays, cardinals, downy woodpecker, gold finches, house finches, mourning doves, robins, nuthatch, but not a partridge in a pear tree! :)
Sharon, your Grosbeak is a beauty! I'd love to see one.Judie, have you called the vet yet?
What a poop shoot that was !!
wing flap before poop shoot must help LOL
Whew! Thank you to those who encouraged me to call the vet; however, as I was about to do that the phone rang (about 5 minutes ago) and it was the vet. Both young ladies are coming out of anesthesia and both are doing well. No complications. Audrey has nibbled some food but Grace is watching her calories. Vet said there was no aggressive behavior BUT they got quite mouthy about being prepped. There are no external sutures. They are glued. They can come home after 2pm tomorrow. Hope the hands on the clock just twirl around.Margy, have fun with your gal pal. Have a smoothie for me, please.I want some of Sharon's birds. No fair.To the kitchen now. Oven BBQ chicken, Cole slaw, maybe some cornbread. Thanks for the support.
Well, wasn't that all about me.Jo, I know I said earlier but hope you are feeling better.Who's pictures? Roger Tory Peterson Institute? I must Google that.Bye
Judie, Grace will fit in my skinny bathtub!! Seriously, glad to hear that all went well! Don't know who will be happier to see who!!Lynne2, I didn't see one of thos butterflies as I was driving this afternoon - very strange. But yesterday was sunny and 80 and today is cloudy and gray and 58!! Maybe they prefer warm weather!Love my new stylus to use with my Kindle! This may actually allow me to get a phone with a virtual keyboard!!I have a student with spina bifida. He walks but with braces. Today he came to school and told me that next week, he will be having surgery (he has known it was coming within the next 6 months). Currently, as his spine continues to curve, it is compromising his lung capacity and eventually, it would kill him. The surgery will stop the curvature b/c it will fuse his spine with his pelvis. But WITH the surgery, he will most likely live the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Makes me want to hug my healthy boys! Josh could use some Momster prayers - I'll let everyone know when I have the exact date for the surgery.
Jo, sure hope the new meds don't continue to make you feel puny!Has anyone heard from Linda lately?CarolAnne, thanks in advance for taking the time to assemble the Lynn tribute; I bet it was a real labor of love.Jewels, if you hop on the blog this evening, know that you and your sister are in our thoughts and prayers daily!
Judie glad the kitty's are doing well. Sandi please do let us know when Josh's surgery is.Rain is starting here. Coming down very heavy!!
Hi everyone. Shar, you should soon have enough feathers for headress. ☺Lurking...
I hate the second that reality hits and I realize she is really gone! Sucks!
Nana, it is going to be an awesome headdress at that! :)
Sandi re: Lynn's tributeMore to be revealed on May 12thBubby home soon - time to look busy. :o)
My candle is still lite for you Lynn:Isaiah 40:31King James Version (KJV) 31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.I miss you so much Lynn/e-Hedgie. My friend soar high as an eagle ^j^♥
WOW I hear thunder at the nest
We miss you Lynn, more than you can know. A big hole is now here in the blog and in our hearts, as the Lord holds you in his arms.
Missy was almost getting air or is the LIL Bro
So it is almost 5:45 in Hedgesville and I just want to say Lord we thank you so much for sending Lynn to us and for all that was shared on an individual and various groups with this wonderful lady. We miss her so very much and yet not one of us is grieving the loss of her pain and sickness. We just miss Lynn on our blog. How very strange though she is everywhere. She lives on in those who knew her in various relationships. We pray for your healing touch on the hearts of those who weep for you promise to comfort them. Grant a special sense of peace and love to her girls and close family and those friends who were as family too. In your precious name Amen.
How very strangely weirdly timely that a thunderstorm should be descending on the nest at this moment...
Maybe that was a rain dance by the eagles LOLLYNN♥♥♥ ! ██ ██░░░░I tried to make a candle ♥Love it both are flapping their wings in the rain
and it didn't work I forgot to say it won't let it stay lined up

Maybe it is an American Soldier watching from over there.
Is there sever weather for you all the wind is really blowing
that would be cool WVDANA
No severe weather JudyE, just a scant few "popcorn" thunderstorms around. VERY few, in fact, and so eery that the big one happened when and where it did.
sun sure is shining on the nest now and DAD just popped in and went to the branch on the left
Wow that downpour right around 5:45 and now the sun is out at the nest! Do ya think maybe Lynn was letting us know she was here with us on the blot???
I believe in that Sandi(your comment at 6:39pm)♥
Yep that what I think tooo We also had a shower pop up heat of the day kind
I had made a comment about it Heaven crying with us at 557
Oops, blog, not blot! Yup, that's what I'm thinkin'!
I see the reflection thingy again
The BLOT??? That's even better than my occasional BLOB!Cooler temps Sandi is probably why there weren't any RAs today. But they were here like crazy! Got some pics, will try to get some stuff uploaded on my BLOT this coming weekend.
About time for some Wingercising! Primping those feathers......... ♥
Don't forget we need some May pics on the Momster Album... Thanks
I just seen on Diane Sawyer where they showed "Made in America". Where people (judges) look at what the person has and wants to make in America. For instance; this guy had a rack that fit onto the cab of a truck to carry ladders and such. He was told to take it overseas. He said, "No to them". So they rejected his idea. Channel 7 went and found him. They wanted to see how easy it was to put together. Very easy ! Then they called a phone number that had called the man after his rejection to have it made in America. It is an American Company that is going to meet with him to make his product. Also channel 7 found out that Home Depot wants to sale his idea!!!!!!!Channel 7 tomorrow is going to show what happened to 3 other people that were rejected by "Made In America". I do believe that it is going to show. Their idea has been made in America!!!!!
I have a video I am uploading that I was doing of the wingersize in the rain Or Rain dance its uploading will let you know when it is done
I put pic in from today and I still have some I need to put in last months I do pic everyday and had been putting them in every couple of days or so Just haven't put in the last week of last months but willl because I love seeing how they change on a day to day basis
Here is the wingersize rain dance by our winged warriors so stinkin cute they were almost running in the rain I wish I had singin in the rain on it OH let me go see if its one of the options on youtube music that would be cool it on the blog now but I will go do music todays rain wingersize at 5:51pm
I am doing one with music but I am saving it as a second one because i like hearing the thunder but not the TV forgot to mute it oops but I love the wingersize and on the launch pads too boot to close to the edge I love the way they sort of run too and there was sort of a tiff to the end of it
Evenin' all!Got my tuberous begonia bulbs in the pots. I overwintered them in paper bags, in a box, on the bottom shelf, in a dark corner. They had sprouts when I opened the bags! Note to self: check 'em earlier next year.I agree Lynn was here with us.Off for more chores.TTFN
Missy feeding herself. Bro looks interested.
I think she had a fish
Dinner over. Kitchen repaired.Sandi, you cannot have my Gracie. I don't care if she does fit in the shower/tub.l0l Can't wait until we can bring them home tomorrow. Also, I wish your spina bifida student a successful surgery. My thoughts will be with him and his family when the day arrives.JudyE, thank you for the rain dance video. Lost in iphone land!!! OH MY GOD!!! SO much I have to remember...tap tap tapping my way, flicking my finger one way or the other to get the page to move...oh my I am not REaLLY flicking the finger so no one take offence or say REALLY??? I do not know what words to use to indicate the movement of going up and down...LOL I will need rescue soon!!!
Hey, Hoda? How about the words: moving my finger up and down? Are you having fun, or what?
Evening all,Bubby is cutting grass,so here I am.The memorial book has gone to the publisher. It should be available for anyone about mid-month. Details to follow when available.Additional comments/tributes can still be made at the funeral home site.
Do I need to send out a Silver Alertfor Linda ?????????
I am wondering if so Jo. Cause I thought when we had the 5:30-5:45pm prayer time for Lynn. I thought for sure Linda S. would have written a prayer and put in.?????
I sent her a FB message and of course it is on here. If nothing is heard I will call Linda tomorrow..Off to Criminal Minds BBL
Last on Linda's facebook was April 26th.
Dana the prayer was just a suggestion this afternoon, and i'm sure many, including Linda, may not have seen it.It is unusual for her not to check in. I believe she and Dennis attend church services on Wednesday evenings. Maybe she'll check in after!Think I'll go read for a while. I have had a relaxing and yet productive day. Five loads of laundry, some trimming outside, dusting and vacuuming, gettin' me arse kicked at Words with Friends, dog brushing....whew! And still took 2 nice walks and did some birdwatching from the patio! In case I don't get back, I'll see you in the morrow. Goodnight and prayers for all!
Hey HODA, I think the manual with my droid phone does indeed call it "flicking". :)
Lynne2, you've got mail.
Wax or another feather or a poop shoot facial?
I sent Linda an email yesterday and I think Lori did too. I didn't hear back but I am not sure if Lori did.
Lynne you are probably right at church.
Hoda, saying "flicking the finger" is a-okay!!!
I send this from my iphone
I love us
Yeah, HODA!Did I miss LOLLY's sunshine smiley face check in this evening?Maybe she's watching AI, which is where I'm headed.Sweet dreams to all and prayers for those in need.
I think Lolly was working in the yard today. I am praying she didn't get run off by an email we received earlier! :(
Whoohoo! Hoda is working that iPhone. You go girl!! :)
SHARON Is it not a rude thing to do to flick the finger? I think so...LOL
SHARON How do I make sure my internet is turned off when I blog...I can not see a special button to turn it off...does it turn off automatically on the iphone?
Hoda, it depends on how you are using that flicking finger! :)
What do you mean internet turned off?
Hoda, come over to Facebook chat. It will be easier from there.
LOL!!! SHARON!!! NOW how do I make sure that my internet is off. I have been turning the phone off to make sure it is off...is there an easier way? I use the blog page and then how do I turn it off?
Hoda, to turn your Wi-Fi on or off - Settings>Wi-Fi>on/offTo turn your cellular data on or offSettings>General>Network>Cellular Data on/off.
Well, I hear the sandperson beginning the stealthy passage down the hallway. Tonight I will not object to the sleepy dust as I am tired and so want tomorrow to be here so I can get my babies.Um, speaking of silver alerts, I don't recall seeing anything from Shirley this evening. Maybe it's bridge night.Hoda, you can flick your finger all you want to. Just don't flip the bird, girl friend. The night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
The moon sure is bright enough to see what those 2 little ctitters of oursare doing. They better get to sleep!
I think all this flipping and flicking fingers best stop! loL ♥Are we having FUN yet!I Love Us!
Good evening Eagle Family...I apologize for my absence.....This house this has been weighing quite heavily on my shoulders.....both Judy and I share the burden and this had to be done....but just waiting to actually get it on the market....its been two years in coming....FINALLY. Now, to get it sold.I hope everyone is okay. I've been lurking, scanning posts...kind of keeping up. Still feeling somewhat stressed as our niece has taken liberties to be rather ugly on facebook. :( Makes me sad. I understand she is defending her mother, still, makes me sad.Been working. School is almost over here....our end of the year school testing is done...now, the home stretch! Hope everyone is well...think of you all so often, just not good at posting...especially when not my usual bubbly self. Hugs, light, and love to all...blessings. and good night.
Guess this is Hello and Good Night!Worked on some nest pictures from the Park and another fine fowl from Chelsea! They are in the Nook. This AM, I did find the Brown Memorial message page and added mije. Tonight I read them all. How amazing that everyone agrees on the same great qualities. Touching.Well, time for the news----and hitting the hay. Hope everyone had a good day and that you'll have Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for Good HealthBlessings on Lynn's Family ♥
Hi all! Worked in the yard all day. Then I cooled a meal and we ate in the garden...first time this year! We had salmon patties with green onion sauce. Yum! After that I collapsed and watched AI and then Castle which I had recorded.Missed the group prayer time but I have been mending my heart while working in the yard.
There you are Lolly! Question - did you cool dinner or cook dinner? :) Love ya! I am heading to bed to watch Days of our Lives. That is my nightly ritual before I go to sleep. I love my DVR. Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers and fur. Tomorrow would be my Mommy's 84th birthday. I miss her so much, seems worse since losing Lynn! :(I LOVE US!!!
I cooled it!!! Don't you cool? It is the newest lastest up to date food preparation!!! Get with it Girl!!!!
So, Hoda...you got your iphone? You are going to love it!
Reading the tributes for Lynn today was really emotional. So many tears that I ended up with a headache. She was so loved.I've been away from the blog dealing with back trouble again (yet?). Just had a third cortisone injection Monday. Doc tells me my spine is in terrible shape and he's not sure he'll be able to help me.He wants to try one more thing - deadening the nerves between L1-2,3-4-5-6. Oh how I wish I could talk to Lynn.Kay, hope your surgery gives you relief from your back pain. Did I miss exactly what the surgery will be? I've had 2 back surgeries and found them to be easier than my shoulder or neck. So, Kay, rest easy. This could very well be exactly what's needed. Prayers for a relieving surgery.Talk about pain meds... had to take 2 today and now I'm getting loopy. Just hope I'll be able to sleep. Please forgive my bad spelling and grammar. It's hard to think and type once those meds start to work.Prayers for Lynn's family and anyone else in need. Goodnight & God bless.
PS. Max & Teresa will be here tomorrow for a few days. They're coming up to cheer me up.Now, going to try and read 2 days of newspapers.Love us. Love Lynn. ♥♥♥♥
The news is over - time for bedGood Night and God BlessPrayers for all in pain & miseryPrayers to you Christie & Carolyn** (((Lynn))) **I do Love Us! Moon is bright on our nest! They are sleeping
Yesterday Joseph found a copper head in their back yard. He got the dogs in and then told his mom, "there is a snake with a triangular head in the the yard." She got a shovel and went looking for it. Sure enough! Joey wasn't home so Laurel sent Joseph for a neighbor and he killed it. Joseph was pulling weeds. It shook him up as well as his momma.I am thinking it is time to get a solid board fence up in their backyard. They come in from the pasture behind them.Well, looks like I missed the chit chat tonight. I am off to shower. Night all! Sweet dreams!
LOLLY I am here...lost in iphone land.Mema JO, I promise I will watch what I do with my fingers!!! LOL!!!SHARON is a real dear and I am ever so very grateful for her help tonight with the iphone...THANK YOU SHARON

C/A I will def want the info on this wonderful tribute you have put together!!! I love us!!! Its time for me to get to bed. Charlie and I both have DR appts tomorrow. Then its time to pack some things. :( prayers for strength to do an impossible job. Night and Love to all!!Peace, comfort and wellness to you all!
OMG, this day has come and gone and I didn't get my photos of LYNN to Carol Anne. One was of Lynn, toasting Suz at her retirement party...a wonderful smile on her face and a hospital patient bracelet on her arm. She went into the hospital the next day for her surgery:( That was the day that we got that speeding ticket in Sharpsburg:)Another photo was from the 4th of July party at GG's. Lynn had her nails painted red, white and blue. She always dressed in the patriotic colors every year. We always had BBQ ribs for the 4th and Gene told Lynn last year that we would have steak this year and she said she couldn't wait:(I love you and miss you so much Lynn♥GOOD NIGHT MY DEAR FRIENDSSWEET DREAMSPRAYERS FOR ALLKAY♥CAROLYN & CHRISTIE♥♥♥LYNN♥
Awww Wanda, I am so sorry!! I bet those pics are beautiful!!! Print them, frame them, they are your memories of good times. Share them... put them on your blog...send them to me,when I have time, I will make a blog with them too. We can come to our Blogs and always smile!!Love you!!!

Hi, Everyone,Have had a very busy day here today, and fell asleep in front of the TV with Emma after dinner. Can't believe it's been a week since Lynn left us. Heart still aches big time. Judie, so very happy to hear that Audrey and Gracie are doing fine. Can the time for them to come home get here fast enough?! Give them my best wishes, and Emma's too.Afraid I missed the prayer time for Lynn, but have been praying nearly constantly for Carolyn and Christie and family. Was surprised to see a female goldfinch in the back yard this morning--have NEVER had one here before. Maybe Lynn was visiting! Would like to think so. Still miss her so much.Well, need to try to get a bit of sleep before Ken gets up and goes to work. Prayers have been said for everyone--added some to the prayer list. Emma is back to her old self, except when we go out front, BOTH of us check carefully to make sure the neighbor's dog is not around!Emma's still scared of trash trucks, too. Believe it or not, I'm actually considering taking some pepper spray outside with me.I'm really glad that neither Ken nor I got bitten! Saying prayers for the student who is soon to have surgery. Tough situation! Hope all goes well for him.Prayers for Red, too! Hope the surgery is a go for tomorrow, and all will be well.
