Having lots of ear pain today - or as the doctor is telling me TMJ pain. The meds are NOT working at all.
Dennis had a good point. I need to have a root canal on that same side and have not been chewing on that side. Maybe somehow I have been compensating and am "out of whack" and that caused the TMJ on the right side only?
I went ahead and scheduled the root canal for Thursday. Great.........more pain!! At least that will fix the chewing problem and we will see if this is really TMJ or not.
On top of that I have a bit of a migraine lurking. I took meds for that, but not really feeling much relief.
Oh well..........thankful for all the good days I have!!! ☺

Lolly, I am worried about you. If you are having deep cough that is causing you pain, I really encourage you to see a doctor. I suspect you have bronchitis at the least, and pneumonia at the worst.
Today was Pumpkin Science day and I am exhausted. Hoping to put some pics on my kindergarten blog and make another video, but I am just too tired for tonight. Also our field trip to the pumpkin patch is suppose to be Thursday and what do you know? They are calling for 70% chance of showers. I am postponing AGAIN. I'm so disgusted with the weather! That changes our Halloween Party as well. Oh the life in kindergarten. If only all my problems were so simple.
My best friends Golden Retriever died today. Her age was relatively unknown because she was a rescue but somewhere around 12-14. So sad, such a sweet dog, Dixie.
Dana, so sorry to hear about your friend's Dixie. A long life for a Golden, but sure know the pain she feels tonight. So great to see your pretty young face in the pics from yesterday!!!
Just got word from Carolyn that Charlie's Uncle Wayne passed away today. Older man, relative of his Dad's....and he was Charlie's best man when the kids got married. Sure hope this doesn't throw a curve at her trip down.
LYNN sorry to hear about Wayne's death. yes I do hope it does not cause even more upset in their lives.
Last night marked a definite change in the temperatures and life in Nelson is a slight bit slower than the day before...the water in the lake is slower the birds are not as active and it seems we are all in our own ways preparing for the winter months...

Vacuumed and did some tidying up...It is always a problem for me how much paper piles up and if only I would file it when it first arrives. I open it and know what it is and then do nothing about filing it and it piles up and takes so much longer to do it then...it sounds like this might develop into a New Year's resolution not that I am big on New Year Resolutions!!!!LOL

The Plot is starting to Move!!!!End of last week, I spoke to former owner of daughter's wedding photo studio.He said he had talked to lady who bought it in 1997 & gave her our phone #. He doubted there were any files as old as ours.I could never find her name listed anyplace. Today a lady with a different name called Fubby. He called me at work & gave me her number.She IS the same lady, but using another name than in '97!Her middle name is now her professional first name, & last name must be different from marriage!!! The story is that in the past there was a roof problem where negatives/proofs were stored.I assume water & some files damaged. She has them stored in Laurel, MD & will check perhaps by end of week! Prayers are not necessary, but can I beg that some fingers get crossed and she finds ours?????? This would just be a miracle.She said if they're gone, she could scan my small album and make a duplicate for Sherry! Bless her! Now, I will hit the loungechair. Thank you Momster Pals! ♥ ☺

JudyE has it mixed up about the sunset. I was in vehicle with Margy and Wanda. We got ready to leave the entrance of NCTC. Margy was just going to tell JudyE how to get to the curve in the road. I said no Margy we need to take her there it isn't that far. Please we need to take her there. So Margy did that. Early in the day I ask Wanda to pray with me that we would see the EAGLES for the new people. GOD GRANTED THAT WHEN WE MADE THE RIGHT AND WENT TO THE CURBE/TURN IN ROAD. I am so grateful to report that we now have heat! Wood pellet stove and it seems like it is going to be pretty warm. The people that lived here before took out the furnace and sold it for scrap and I didn't have a heat source. Now I do.

Today is my Thursday since I took the day off Friday. Needed an extra day to regroup since I'll be hosting Kid's Day at the Washington Internat'l Horse Show on Saturday. It's at the Verizon Center so it's always a long, long day when I have something like that in DC, plus I won't drive in DC so I'm going with the station crew!

Today is my sister Kathy's 64th Birthday....she's celebrating in Heaven....she died in December, 2007. I'll make a visit to her burial site after work in Hedgesville....top of the hill with a beautiful view, and I can see Maryland from there Remember my Cloud Angel pictures? Those were taken from there, maybe I can find some more Angels in the sky today ☺

Just sent an e-mail to my Fort Collins brother. He likes to ride his bike when the weather is good. Probably not today, though. He has to go in sometimes, even when the weather is bad, because he has to take care of the plants in the greenhouse.
Back many years ago, he put on snowshoes to go take care of the heat pump when there was an immense snow. My mother was there to help with their new baby at the time, and was impressed with the use of snowshoes. We did not use snowshoes in North Carolina.

I am following her on a map as she drives to work. I had to laugh becaue it became daylight and she said, "Oh my heavens there is snow everywhere!!!!!!"
The roads are getting worse she has just gotten off the phone. She is going to call me when she drives into work. There is a BIG HILL that eveyone has trouble getting up. That will be coming up. She is worried about that hill too. Lord please help her and help the ones driving around her. Many accidents she is seeing.
She has never driven this car in snow. So far good she said. Although this is not the worse of the snow. It will be worse when she gets off work. She said, "Mom there are cars driving with 6" of snow ontop their cars!!!!

Dana, my brother in Fort Collins said that they have gotten 13 inches of snow and expect up to 7 more inches. It is a wet snow, which is unusual for them, so it is bringing down a lot of branches.
He said that Loveland schools are closed because of power failures, but Fort Collins schools are open.
He is at work now. I know he has to be careful to protect the greenhouse and make sure it is properly heated, etc.
They have really good snow removal equipment in Colorado.
Judy always takes such nice pictures. I want to see what she has as soon as she is able to post. I have been enjoying everyone's pictures as they have been posted.

Lolly, glad you are doing better....but keep in mind that viruses usually don't cause fever.....and a viral bronchitis or pneumonia can become bacterial if not caught in time.
Need to ask for prayers for our Son-in-law Marq's dad, Don. He's had some serious complications. He has an infection of as-yet-unknown origin. While Drs. have been searching for its cause, they have discovered that he has blood clots in every limb. Can't put him on his usual blood thinning medication, which might cause the brain bleed to restart. They have him on a Heparin drip, which will only keep the clots from getting larger. They will do tests to see whether he has clots in his heart.
He was put on a ventilator 4 different times, but it caused his throat and vocal cords to swell badly, so now they've done a tracheostomy on him.
It's been a really rough week for his wife Emilee, too. Marq and his brother, at this moment, haven't heard of these complications yet, so please pray for them, too. Momster/Dadster prayers are powerful, so hoping for improvement here. Thanks so much, in advance!
Well I see that if it isn't one thing, it is 3 others. Lynn I'm sure you will find another hospital that will be suitable for your procedure! I'm praying for it! The amputation of Zach's foot medically should eliminate future problems and I bet with a month or two, he will be walking away from the hospital! I'm praying for it! Now for Marq's father who is having serious problems - prayers for medical knowledge to help him recover! I'm praying for it!

Today was Pumpkin Science day and I am exhausted. Hoping to put some pics on my kindergarten blog and make another video, but I am just too tired for tonight.
Also our field trip to the pumpkin patch is suppose to be Thursday and what do you know? They are calling for 70% chance of showers. I am postponing AGAIN. I'm so disgusted with the weather! That changes our Halloween Party as well. Oh the life in kindergarten. If only all my problems were so simple.
My best friends Golden Retriever died today. Her age was relatively unknown because she was a rescue but somewhere around 12-14. So sad, such a sweet dog, Dixie.
Dana, so sorry to hear about your friend's Dixie. A long life for a Golden, but sure know the pain she feels tonight.

Just got word from Carolyn that Charlie's Uncle Wayne passed away today. Older man, relative of his Dad's....and he was Charlie's best man when the kids got married. Sure hope this doesn't throw a curve at her trip down.

Last night marked a definite change in the temperatures and life in Nelson is a slight bit slower than the day before...the water in the lake is slower the birds are not as active and it seems we are all in our own ways preparing for the winter months...

The Plot is starting to Move!!!!End of last week, I spoke to former owner of daughter's wedding photo studio.He said he had talked to lady who bought it in 1997 & gave her our phone #. He doubted there were any files as old as ours.I could never find her name listed anyplace. Today a lady with a different name called Fubby. He called me at work & gave me her number.She IS the same lady, but using another name than in '97!Her middle name is now her professional first name, & last name must be different from marriage!!!
The story is that in the past there was a roof problem where negatives/proofs were stored.I assume water & some files damaged.
She has them stored in Laurel, MD & will check perhaps by end of week!
Prayers are not necessary, but can I beg that some fingers get crossed and she finds ours??????
This would just be a miracle.She said if they're gone, she could scan my small album and make a duplicate for Sherry! Bless her!

I am so grateful to report that we now have heat! Wood pellet stove and it seems like it is going to be pretty warm. The people that lived here before took out the furnace and sold it for scrap and I didn't have a heat source. Now I do.

Today is my Thursday since I took the day off Friday. Needed an extra day to regroup since I'll be hosting Kid's Day at the Washington Internat'l Horse Show on Saturday. It's at the Verizon Center so it's always a long, long day when I have something like that in DC, plus I won't drive in DC so I'm going with the station crew!

Just sent an e-mail to my Fort Collins brother. He likes to ride his bike when the weather is good. Probably not today, though. He has to go in sometimes, even when the weather is bad, because he has to take care of the plants in the greenhouse.
Back many years ago, he put on snowshoes to go take care of the heat pump when there was an immense snow. My mother was there to help with their new baby at the time, and was impressed with the use of snowshoes. We did not use snowshoes in North Carolina.

Getting ready to head out debating if I should eat the free breakfast at Dennys at the HOTEL I had breakfast last nite but its free the gal at the desk says LOL
I am following her on a map as she drives to work. I had to laugh becaue it became daylight and she said, "Oh my heavens there is snow everywhere!!!!!!"
The roads are getting worse she has just gotten off the phone. She is going to call me when she drives into work. There is a BIG HILL that eveyone has trouble getting up. That will be coming up. She is worried about that hill too. Lord please help her and help the ones driving around her. Many accidents she is seeing.
She has never driven this car in snow. So far good she said. Although this is not the worse of the snow. It will be worse when she gets off work. She said, "Mom there are cars driving with 6" of snow ontop their cars!!!!
Ok I am heading out I just had the longest conversation with a bunch of peeps here so I now got to hit the road see ya later

Had a great nights sleep. Second night of no coughing. I am still coughing but it is a very loose cough. Will not go into details, but I am feeling great!
I think I am going to sew today. Worked in the yard yesterday, but Jack wants to take a break today so I will do the same.

Dana, my brother in Fort Collins said that they have gotten 13 inches of snow and expect up to 7 more inches. It is a wet snow, which is unusual for them, so it is bringing down a lot of branches.
He said that Loveland schools are closed because of power failures, but Fort Collins schools are open.
He is at work now. I know he has to be careful to protect the greenhouse and make sure it is properly heated, etc.
They have really good snow removal equipment in Colorado.
Finally found Wanda's third video, had to search!

Lolly, glad you are doing better....but keep in mind that viruses usually don't cause fever.....and a viral bronchitis or pneumonia can become bacterial if not caught in time.

Lynn 2 hrs. is here normal commute. She will be moving closer hopefully when lease is up. Won't be Boulder though rent is too too expensive.
Good Morning/Afternoon, Everyone!
Need to ask for prayers for our Son-in-law Marq's dad, Don. He's had some serious complications. He has an infection of as-yet-unknown origin. While Drs. have been searching for its cause, they have discovered that he has blood clots in every limb. Can't put him on his usual blood thinning medication, which might cause the brain bleed to restart. They have him on a Heparin drip, which will only keep the clots from getting larger. They will do tests to see whether he has clots in his heart.
He was put on a ventilator 4 different times, but it caused his throat and vocal cords to swell badly, so now they've done a tracheostomy on him.
It's been a really rough week for his wife Emilee, too. Marq and his brother, at this moment, haven't heard of these complications yet, so please pray for them, too. Momster/Dadster prayers are powerful, so hoping for improvement here. Thanks so much, in advance!

bet with a month or two, he will be walking away from the hospital! I'm praying for it!
Now for Marq's father who is having serious problems - prayers for medical
knowledge to help him recover! I'm praying for it!

LynnIf Georgetown Hospital does not take your Insurance and that is the place you will NOT be able to go. Remember God is in CHARGE...there is some reason HE doesn't want you to go to Georgetown then. Continue to look and check out. Prayers going up!!!!

I see that coronor's report shows that Amy Winehouse died from alcohol overdose/poisoning.....blood level was 4 times the legal limit (for driving).
And Andy Rooney has had major complications from a simple surgical procedure.... :(
Paula, we went to the beach for a little while on Monday. Frank and Irene are there now surf-fishing. Girls are on their way.....they were on this side of Fredericksburg at noon. They leave Sat. and we leave Sun.
I'll call Candy this evening and hope we can arrange dinner Sat. evening with her and Jim.
Oh---weather was beautiful yesterday and today. Going downhill tomorrow---chances of rain and cooler. It's been around 70° for high.....breezy....just lovely!!!
