Lolly is going to retrieve her missent coat at Goodwill. I hope she finds it! Hopefully it has been kept at the same Goodwill to where Jack took it. We have a few different locations here.

Well, I am back. No luck! The dern thing is one employee remembered the coat!!!! Probably wondered why it was given away! They bag things, load them on a truck and send them away to be tagged. It was in their trailer, in a bag with multitudes of bags. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, Lolly gets a new coat! And I still have the hood! It will go in the trash.
Pixcontroller is weird. If ad starts running, I mute sound ON PUTER TASKBAR. Within a second or two, it overrides it! ARGH! Don't like that they can do that. Once I mute it a second time, then it's okay.

To Glo several inches of snow is but a drop in the bucket compared to what she has had. Sure hope she stays longer - the sun has to shine - how else do we get Georgia peaches..

I watched and recorded Lily and Hope for about 20 minutes...all I heard, at that time was Hope suckling and Lily fussing at her. Hope was under Lily and it looked as though Lily was rolling around, trying to get comfortable with her BIG BABY under her. Nursing Lily may be painful now with swollen nipples:( Poor thing!

Right.....Lily is probably NOT feeling real tolerant of Miss Hope right now. Gee, I know how she feels today, even if for a different reason.
yes Mema JO I can deal with the cold and snow. Bt I would love the sun and warmth. Its only a very cold cold rain here at the moment bUT most likely it will all freeze where it is once the night comes and of course they have nothing to use to melt the snow. BUT we do know where there is lots of sand :-). Dex has had his fresh applicaiton of frontline. If he is comfortable here in a couple of days we will stay out the cold etc, but if he continues to struggle we will head on home in the next week to ten days or so. Have to watch travel weather for sure.
Geeesh excitement and yet concern for Lily, Hope and new baby(s). Will hope be removed form the den. That is certainly what the eagles do. Wish it were Feb or March and not Jan if that is what happens. She has no den to weather the winter in MN. :-(Oh my shouldn't get going on that it takes me down a not so good road.
I still miss our Pop Up Cam. I know deal with it! OK :-)

Hi Jim, The still cam just came up or it's the first I've tried since earlier today.
pix Controller that has Lily cam needs to get their ads corrected. Several times I have had two running at the same time. And, occasionally an ad runs with no picture, just sound.
Norfolk eagle cam has not fired up for the season ... soon though ... but they do have some videos of action in 2011.
Wray, the female, is on the WE nest now.

Good afternoon fellow animal watchers! Mother nature has so many things happening this time os year. You don't expect it but it's there. I am so grateful to the people who have installed cams and maintenance them and still respect the animal the cam is watching. One downside....it takes me quite a while to check on all the cams in the morning and get everything else done too...like dress and eat! LOL

I am so glad Susan is having a good time in Ecuador. I have spent time in South America and I love it there.

Jo, I have a large stuffed moose that I use as a pillow. I can arrange him so that I can sleep propped up and can breathe!

Now that Lily has pulled the bedding away from the camera we can better see what needs to be done to improve the view for data collection. Lynn plans to pull the camera back for a wider view and up as far as he can. -- SM

NCSuzan Yes I bought a cortisone spray with aloe for him that I use right away on any spots he digs at. And he has been getting one half benadryl at morning and night but I really don't want to continue to drug my dog. He does well on Frontline plus at home. I even shaved down the spot where I applied the new dose yesterday so it could get well absorbed into his skin. He is just too old to even think of changing meds in my mind. Told my son we will know by the end of the week if the Frontline is going to work on him as a fresh dose for 2 or 3 more weeks or if we need to just head home. It is what it is and I am doing the best i can to take care of his skin but its been a hassle for both of us. We are avoiding snowstorm number 3 though today and tonight and of course have missed a few weeks of bitter cold. It all helps :-) Its been good Holidays and a nice weather break, just the stinkin fleas not stink bugs is the biggest challenge. One flea for Dex is a challenge when it bites him.

Glo, I almost forgot. I also gave vitamins to my dog and it helped tremendously. We would get the vitamins in a tube that you just squeeze out. He loved it.
lily is still out, Hope has been in and out twice. Doc is almost there.
NCSuzan What kind of vitamins. Did you get them from the Vet or over the counter. We don't have this issue at home and his diet and appetite remain very good. Thankfully. If Dex doesn't want to eat I would be packed and out of here.
Jo, know what you mean about pillows. I also have three plus sometimes Mr. moose and sometimes one of those neck pillows. The best sleep and breathing position is here at my desk bent over at the waist face down. My daughter hates it because she thinks I might be dead! But no shortness of breath when I get up. LOL!
Lolly I am to pack it up and go to exercise BUT don't know that I can stop watching my Bears!

Glo, we get them at PetSmart. I use them for the dogs and cats. It is like a thick jelly but hey love it. My dog had a good appetite too but the flea allergy made him miserable. Just one bite and you know the rest. Good luck to you and Dex.

Jo and Suzan....gotta tell ya', while a tripod position helps me immensely, I also find that lying down flat (with, of course, one normal pillow) does NOT bother me at all!!!

Jo and Lynn, yes I am on oxygen 24/7.
My Vet called me after I took in the pee sample. She said she stills see's blood with microcope.
So Little Man has to go see her 9AM tomorrow (as long as not snowed in here). She said could be several things:
1) Needs a different antibotic
2) She does need to do some x-rays
3) He could have a stone
4) She gave a list of many things and that is why she needs to see and examine him. She also said his pee is too light. He is not drinking a lot of water. So I don't know anymore than that at this point. So I am praying and trying to give it to God but when he looks at me I get sad and start tearing up. Will you friends please pray for the best for Ed's Little Man. Who after Ed passed became my Little Man to protect for Ed. He always loved me and Ed both but was Ed's shadow.

No, no new coat and can not find what I want on line either. Will have to wait til next year. In the mean time I can not go anywhere where I need a nice coat. No weddings planned and if we go out to eat, no elegant dining. LOL At least not until warm weather. :)

I didn't get on here all day--busy & then had to do a techie call. Antivirus is not weekly scanning on set schedule.Lesson for today~~~ There is nothing wrong w/it----We don't have enough RAM to run everything! That is different than memory/disc space. Dana, prayers for Little Man for sure. But light colored urine is usually a good sign. Dark means he's not getting enough water. Light also means that the blood is microscopic, which is better than if it could be seen with naked eye.

Vet said it could be kidney stones yes. Plus a long list of other things. That is why she wants him in there tomorrow to examine him. I love this Vet. Dr. O'Donnell. It just really rally's Little Man to take him away from home. He really gets very upset anymore. Still in God's Loving Hands.

Tried on line, Lynn. Want a long, black London Fog trench coat with hood and zip out lining. Have not found it yet in my size. And, not really sure about what size to look for. But, I know for sure black!
Pale urine could indicate any number of kidney diseases...true. Elderly dogs and cats are often plagued with such. Most are treatable.

Last year a friend of ours took his wife and they stayed overnight in Chambersburg. So they could walk around and see all the beautiful ice sculptures. They said for something that really didn't cost them anything so see. It was a GREAT and enjoyable time.

I was there today and got a neat windchime on sale it is an EAGLE. They have 2011 calendars they are giving away. They are really neat. Lots of information on planting; just full of information. They are free. I got me and Mom one.

Back~~~car came right at 6PM from Richmond. Only thing I don't like about it is it's one of the few years they didn't have the "swoosh" on the side----just flat. BOO What did I get from Santa? A loan request !!!
Margy, techie guy explained to me that RAM is different than memory. I thought I needed one of those extra hard drives to accomodate pics with more memory. He said I don't. Capacity is in the disc of harg drive & I'm only using 1/2. Who knew?????Newer computers have much more RAM & like he said you can install more chips. About $50, he said---definitely under $100.
Enough of that~~I have Bear cam on & thought I heard humming (from Hope??) or else it's just white noise.Lily's done a number on camo. I did see movement of the grey blob in middle & the white specs moved, too. Must be debris in fur.

Was chatting with Susan on FB when her boyfriend called her on Skype. She is definitely not out of touch with the world at home.
She had more ear problems and went to the clinic at the school there. She said the Spanish word for ear/nose/throat doc is the longest Spanish word she ever saw. It's a pretty long English word, too.
She does not have a new infection, just drainage from the old one. Problems are caused by the travel and the elevation. She got Zyrtec D and was told to chew gum.
Gotta hit the washer~~~
Almost forgot, s__w tomorrow. Glad it is sooner and hope will not return later as in egg laying/incubation time. Let's get it over with now.

Talked with one of my students today. I want to recommend him to move up to honors English, but I also wanted to tell him that I am not entirely happy with his attitude. When I asked him to see me after class so I could discuss the change, he just said the he did not have time.
He admitted that sometimes he is an "arrogant ass." I had to laugh, but I agreed with him. He is very happy to move up.
Poor Susan. Hope the gum and Zyrtec do the trick!

Susan says lots of the others are having stomach problems and will go to the clinic tomorrow. She is not having that kind of trouble, thank goodness.

Happy that I got my exam written today. Actually, I was able to grab something off the software we have from the publisher. I have to grade three classes of research papers. That is where I will be putting in my time. But I cannot have a classroom full of adolescents in the room for 2 1/2 hours without a very structured activity planned.
