We continue to have significant power supply issues, along with software control issues with the cam. We have decided to hard wire the power and bypass the solar cells that have powered the cam the past several years. This will clear up the power issues.
We are working with the camera manufacturer on the night vision. We have gotten it to work on a sporadic basis, but not much more than that thus far.

We have determined that the night vision has not been working because of this power issue, so this will (fingers crossed) get the night vision working full time.

Joey's secretary put a used popcorn bag in the trash and Bosco got after it. Grrrrr! Left her a note and Laurel said "Good". She had been told not to put food bags in the trash but in the garbage.

Home from first physical therapy session.
I WALKED TODAY!
Hurts a bunch but walked a good distance with a walker. Biggest problem was my fear the bones would break again. I like the therapist. I will have therapy twice weekly for 4 weeks and possible another two after that.
Well, as usual, I am now very tired. Going to put my foot up -- swollen and aching.
Hope everyone is having a good day or, at least, not a bad day.

I had to go digging in Laurel t-shirts. I just brought sweatshirts and I am dying! We are expecting the coldest temps in years next week but right now it is near 70 Snow flurries Sun nite and Monday. We shall see!

Hi Folks. Been a long day here and I am dog tired :-). My sons big Labrador has seizures which he had at 7 am and Dex is still struggling with some itching which he did form 3 til 5 am. I am sorry to see our cam is down once again, but glad they are working on it UNLESS this means going back up the tree to hard wire it. Seems like its more than just plugging it in on the ground somewhere or it would be plugged in by now. Anyway we did see them several times this week. They are busy at the nest. Fingers crossed here too.

Lab has meds but nO not really totally controlled. Has some reg med and some for clusters which he has. We are on the cluster schedule now. Dex has had "another bath" and gets his Frontline in 2 days If that doesn't help him then we probably won't stay til Feb. WOW! What an afternoon of webcam viewing. First the bears, isn't Hope beautiful? And then our eagles! YAY!
Lynn, I have checked out those concentrators before. That is an exorbitant price and with a limited battery life it really does not last any longer than the liquid oxygen. It really limits me for the times that I want to go somewhere and would be gone the day for example. You have to be near your supplier or home in order to refill. Just an inconvenience tho I am very grateful to have oxygen on any level.
Wanda, would be sad if you sold your shop but good luck if you do.

We're home. I'm cold and tired. Mai is exhausted....and probably has a full belly!
We were the only ones in the class---so much for socialization, right?
But the Trainer was fantastic.....and Mai did very well. She gave me good tips to use to work on the problems we are having. Her training does start out treat-based, so Mai certainly had her fill of blueberry and PB treats!!!!
Gonna get a bite of supper and then get my bath while she is sleeping.
Very disappointed to see that we don't have our infrared. I just want to cry over that.

Suzan----what I sent link to doesn't require "fill-ups". When the battery gets low, you just plug it in, to either a regualr outlet or a car cigarette lighter outlet. Read the FAQ page.....and internal a nd supplemental batteries total 5 hrs. and whole thing weighs 5#. It says Medicare covers it.

Haven't been many critters at Chelsea (farmhouse office). See maybe 2 deer but have had lots of geese by pond. Many were standing on ice! Now there is one melted section that was full this AM.

Just got home from a nice dinner with Will. Hunter, Kathryn, and I took him out. We went to Bravo again. Very good food. It started snowing while we were there.
I am plumb wore out. Gave one SOL test and dealt with Block 4 today. Then I spent quite a bit of time organizing my classroom for the ladies who will administer the SOL test to my Bl. 4 kids on Monday morning. Desks are in a new arrangement with a post-it taped to each desk with kid's name on it.
I am ready to head upstairs. So happy to see Judie is ready to walk into my house and wish my twins a happy birthday. Of course, only one twin is in town tonight. He's still a bit stiff and sore. Maybe more than a bit stiff and sore.

It's Snowing In Martinsburg !
Just got home. I am once again too pooped to pop! After Laurel got home we moved boxes to Fayes and brought stuff back. The main thing we brought to Laurel's was Fayes jewelry box. To say she loved jewelry is to put it very mildly. She loved costume jewelry. She had one of those jewelry boxes that is a piece of furniture and it was full. Laurel and I sat on the floor going through it all piece by piece. Laurel is keeping what she will wear, gave me some earrings but most is going to be sold. She is taking some to school to let friends pick what they want and giving it to them. We had to look carefully for gold. That is hard to do, Laurel and I both have little jewelry and what we have is good. Neither of us have been big on costume jewelry.
