I read back on comments. Can't find any on this thread about Megan running out of water. That is serious because she is on well water. Has to have water hauled in at times. Unless that is a tank they fill with a spigot on it???

Don't know specifics about Megan, Dana....she had posted on FB yesterday that she hated turning on the tap and having no water. Oh--Lynne, thanks--haven't been on FB yet....good to know it wasn't a dry well or a burned-up pump!!!

Wanda-----I used the Ss cleaner ONCE and threw it away. It took more elbow grease than I have to use it---smeared awfully. I just use Windex regularly and once in a while hot, soapy Dawn water.

Here at the big school house. Finished my class. Supposed to have office hours -- no customers so far. Thought I would stop by to catch up.
Wanda, don't know about stainless steel except that there is a cleaner made for it. I would think a soft damp cloth would work. Nevertheless, so glad you have the new frig. Enjoy!
Don't want hurricane damage but sure could use some rain and cooler temps.
Hope Shirley took some supplies with her. She's going to need something for stamina through tonight.

I have rebooted and guess what!!! I am A-OK! That was sooo weird.
No, Jo, armadillos dug but their biggest damage is only about 6 inches deep to the lawn. Holes everywhere!!! Grrr! Then their are their burrows. Not as many of them and they are deep, but in out of the way places. Can think of 4 burrows in our yard. One that makes me the maddest is right behind a tree, under the Cast Iron plants and right beside the stream. He keeps digging it out and burying some of my impatients.
Lolly, a reboot is a good idea, but I would clear all the file and cookie caches in Internet Options first, in case it is malware or the like.

That's a relief, Lolly! Whew!
Christie's laptop died 10 days ago...they said it sounded like the fan burned out (which was what I told her it sounded like---had that happen at work once) and maybe fried the motherboard....but the guy who works on laptops was on vacation. Shannon should know today what they found out...and if it's a dead duck, if they could retrieve her files.
Judie, glad your office hours are quiet ones.......first impression of your students yet????

Students were fine. 100 wannabe adults. They were mostly attentive and I have some prior students which makes it nice. Two lady basketball players and one male basketball player, a men's soccer player. Probably more I don't recognize.
About to get ready to head home. Not much sleep last night so fading fast.

Good Morning/Afternoon, Everyone!
Have been busy getting some laundry folded, the kitchen cleaned up, and English homework finished for tomorrow. Next project: make the bed. Oh--swept birdseed hulls off the patio and refilled the feeders, too. The dishwasher is running now, and will soon have another load of laundry starting.
Waiting for the gardeners to get here and get finished, so I can go water the patio plants. After that, will probably watch some recorded TV. Should go get some school supplies from Wal-Mart, too.
Hope they're not too busy!

Hope Judie drank some caffeine so she doesn't get sleepy driving home!
Nice that she has some returning students. There are a lot of those in my English class--makes it fun, discussing class topics during our breaks. I have 3 classmates in my Practice class this time, but we all try to get to school early in the day to get transcription done, and don't always see each other. The teacher has it set up so that we can come in at any time of day, do the work, sign the attendance sheet in the drawer, and leave our work in a folder in the drawer. She's there during class time, but we don't necessarily have to be, as long as we've signed the roll sheet.
Judie, hope you got rid of the butterflies today. Bet your class is interesting as all get out! Wish I could attend!
Shirley, hope you have a stash of protein bars or something to tide you over later today. Bet you'll be tired when you get home tonight!
