Good morning again... Ditto on thoughts and prayers for AJ.

See Mits - I was right - you are Fast!

Nest is MT - I am watching Live feed
Still cam is now up - Margy said she had sent an email.

Thanks Steve - Holler at us on here if you see any eagles on the property
Thanks!

Shoot! I was watching this for a new thread so I could be first, but I was distracted at just the propitious moment...

hedgie said...

Thanks for call over, Mits!
Off to a good start-----blogger cop says 7 comments.....in actuality only 3! Go figure!

movin said...

Thanks, Hedgie, for the fledging date.

I count 5 weeks though, but that could be long enough for her to have ventured off on her own...

Might see her again but not a lot of times now.

Good Morning Jim

You gotta be faster than Mits to be #1

movin said...

Yeah, Mema Jo, but alas, nobody is faster than Mits...

Mits said...

well, I'm not that fast, have not posted since last week sometime, was just looking to see if the still cam was up and saw the zero:)

Mema Jo said...

Like I said one day - you've got to be at the right place at the right time!

Mema Jo said...

I need to leave and get street clothes so I can make that 1:00 eye appointment.

See you all when I return.....♥

hedgie said...

Yeah, Jim, 5 whole weeks yesterday or today....beginning sixth.

hedgie said...

Hospital of my birth celebrating it's 150th year. Had a big party yesterday! Providence Hospital in DC, founded by Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent DePaul. Chartered in 1861 by ol' Abe himself.

hedgie said...

Here's some more trivia for you: On July 6, 1970, Congress re-considered raising the minimum wage from $1.80 to $2.50/hr. Guess most of us remember our first jobs in those days!

Judie said...

Thank you, Steve. Thanks for the call over, Mits.

Jim, I think if you keep working on your propitious you just might get ahead of Mits.

Yep, finally got the ironing done.

Classes begin for me on Aug. 31.

Because I'm selfish! So there! Okay, so I decided to share with Shirley.

Lynn, congratulations to Providence. Just so happy your weren't the first baby born there.

Off to put dry rub on some baby backs and make sauce. Later

hedgie said...

Judie, you have LOL! I'm glad I'm not THAT old....a hundred years makes a BIG difference!
Uh....what time did you say dinner was???

hedgie said...

Another brain fart----you have ME LOL!

Lolly said...

Today is the birthday for lots of folks I know. However, my great niece, Kaitlyn, is 18 today. Her mother was my little redheaded flowergirl, and 13 years ago Kaitlyn was Laurel's little reheaded flowergirl. The big tear jerker was at Laurel's rehearsal. I looked up and there was Kaitlyn wearing her mother's dress from my wedding. Boy, did the tears flow!
Anyway, posted a picture of Kaitlyn on fb.

Lolly said...

red headed, NOT reheaded. LOL

Feeling virtuous, have walked. ☺ Now to make a list and head out shopping!

Dinner is when you arrive! BBQ ribs, corn on cob, something green, and maybe rain for dessert.

Am anxious to hear from Paula but know she has other priorities.

Hi, Gang,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHRISTIE!! Have a fantastic day!!

Dana, just for you, I have set up a thumbprint security system! Don't worry! You will ALWAYS be welcomed to the blog! (Promise you won't EVER become a Russian spy!)

Have been praying for Ajay this morning--hope all's well with her and the surgeon! Anxious for an update.

Shirley, wishing for a safe trip home for you! Glad you had a good time!

Judie, does your imaginary ironer bring her own iron? I don't even have an iron any more, since our last dog chewed up the cord on ours.
Long story short, it's BYOI at our house! (Thank GOD for perma-press!)

Ms Bookworm said...

Gotta go get busy again on cleaning up outside. BBL!

magpie said...

need to sneak in a little nap before 4-12..
best wishes for Shirley's traveling, and Paula's daughter-in-law especially...

and everyone else too for that matter

Wanda had to go ahead and pick three tomatoes...they can finish the final ripening indoors...so I will find you in the next few days ! ☺

I had to agree, that was a good idea!

Judie said...

Irene, my imaginary ironer does NOT have her own iron. She has to use mine.

Cool idea Andy. Maybe I can get a neighborhood dog to chew the cord and never have to iron again. Or, maybe I can just take my stuff to Margy. Besides, she has tomatoes- yum.

Also, thanks for adding the new security system for Dana.

How's the bird poop cleanup coming? Are you wearing gloves and a mask? Better be!

Closing rebuttal.

Mema Jo said...

I have returned but I can't see you all due to eyes being dilated. I am touch typing...lol
Everything is okay with my retina & I can wait until next year to get a recheck.
Don't see any bird in our nest...
I wish - just one more time - need to hear the squawking....

Going to close my eyes as I put my feet up.......
Anxious to hear from Paula about AJAY.

movin said...

tHERE'S one fledgling at both the WE and the TH nests.

I don't think either fledgling has ever returned to the PH nest this year....

Lolly said...

Margy, you can come to my house anytime and I will set you up with the ironing board! Oh, I hate it! Just have a few things that need pressing. Seems like I like cotton too much!

Yes, anxious to hear from Paula.

We have been up to Ft. Worth and have ingredients for tonight delicious meal. Michael gave his dad 10 small bottles of wine to go with 2 meals...5 course meals!! Jack wants to do it tonight. So..first we are having "orders" (Jacob's name for hors d'oeuvres.)A cheese mixture on crackers, then bacon wrapped shrimp, then Four Cheese Risotto, then Involtini di Vitella and last but not least the last of the apple slices! The Involtini is stuffed veal bundles. With each course we have a small bottle of wine. LOL I may not get back on the blog after eating! Wowser!

Margy, "thank you" from Jack for the card. Got it today!☺

hedgie said...

Know you are already working, Margy (what is the communication problem today?) but wanted to add to turkey discussion that I used to see flocks of up to 40 here......about a dozen hens and all the rest younguns. It was quite a sight. Now I'm lucky to see more than 6.
:(

Wish we would here something from Paula.....

Judie said...

Very good news, Jo. Tipingk seams jowst fien two me!

Lolly, I'm leavin' on a jet plane...

hedgie said...

Lolly, you may not even make it through 5 courses!!!! Meal sounds tasty!

hedgie said...

What is the veal stuffed with?

Lolly said...

The veal has procuitto, parmesan, mozzerrela and parsley. You cooked the bundles in white wine. It is one of our favorite meals.

Lolly said...

I fell asleep. ☺ Up too early this morn. Woke and could not go back to sleep.

Mema Jo said...

Oh my, I can smell it all now, Lolly!
I bet you two don't get to the apple slices! Keep us posted.....

Judie I can't read your typing! lol

Lolly said...

I think Judie has already been into the wine!

Also, this will be the last of the apple slices. However I am thinking of making it again this week as Larry and Sandy will be here.(my brother and SIL) Larry would LOVE it!

Lynne2 said...

wow, I could here all the brains farting from 3 miles away...perhaps everyone should be reheaded, or at least get some Beano for the Brain.

Sure anxious to hear that Ajay's Sx went well.

Glad your retinas are good Jo!

Lolly, sounds like quite a meal you'll be having! I just can't eat veal, though....

One of the caterpillars has gone AWOL. I have NO idea how it could have escaped from the critter carrier, but it's GONE. The others are steadily eating and have grown little "horns" on each end today.

I have been way too up close and personal with poison ivy today. I have NEVER seen so much poison ivy growing in such huge vines in so many places as I have seen today. I was extremely careful though. I guess I'll know by morning if I was careful enough. Although poison ivy = a course of Medrol Dosepack which would = 7 to 10 days of being PAIN FREE!!!!! Maybe not such a bad thing...

paula eagleholic said...

Just a quick note, Ajay's surgery went well, she should be released tomorrow. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

Mema Jo said...

PTL Thanks so much for AJ's update!

hedgie said...

Oh, Paula, that's a relief!! So glad it went fine. Know she's glad to be going home to her babies!! NO lifting, Ajay!

hedgie said...

Lynne, hope you don't get the itchies! I'm immune to it.

Mema Jo said...

Just finished dinner - Lynne - I hope you stay 'ivy poison free'
Your lost caterpillar - do they eat one another?

Just checked on the Finney cam and saw some wingercises. Both chicks are in the nest.

Lolly I'm stuffed just reading your meal. Gained 40 lbs from it.

I think Judie's eyes were dilated or she has my eyes.

I just read Lynn2's comment "Sure anxious to hear that
Ajay's Sx went well" I read Sx as sex I thought what!!
went back re-read people remember please my eyes
are not the best as before.

Paula so happy things went well with Ajay's surgery.
Will continue to keep her and family in prayers...healing.

I have never had a caterpillar eat it's siblings...but then, I don't know all there is to know about them. I do know that they are very good at getting into nooks and crannies and turning up a few days after I have pronounced them, dead!

Paula, glad to hear that Ajay's surgery went well and that she will be back with her babies tomorrow. It will be hard for her to not hold them:( (if that is what the doctor advised)

Have had the first wine and "orders", now on to the next course.

Still able to type. ☺

Sorry about the weight gain!

Shut down last night due to heavy rainstorm, but it really didn't last long enough. Had 2 appts. today & I'm hot as charcoal from driving around!

See that Paula checked in & AJ is A OK!!!! Thank the Lord for that!
Happy B'Day to Lynn's Christie.
Would you believe it's starting to rain here? We'll take it! They're predicting heavy storms TU afternoon. I hope it's after I leave the Park. Not too safe down there!!
Gotta find something to nibble. We had watermelon & Popsicles in afternoon!

Costume Lady said...

I have to laugh, now, thinking about Karla's surgery. The doctor told her, before hand, that he was going to put a DONOR bone or cartilage in her spine and she said "I don't want part of anyone else in my body"...doctor said, "OK, we will have to take it from your hip"...she said, "OK, I will take the Donor's bone";)

Costume Lady said...

Oh, Lolly, when you come back, after your 2nd course...if you come back:)...I wanted to tell you that I thought your idea of using a prefolded diaper for decorating was an ingenious idea! You are so talented and cute, too:)

I also thought of you, today, Lolly, when looking for a new sewing machine for GG (hers was ruined in the basement flood). I saw a machine that actually embroideried Teddy Bears, etc. Would be perfect for your burp cloths. $999.00...Hmmm, maybe I could go into business making burpies here in WV! Let's see...that would be $3.00 ea.
X 333 to pay for the machine. It would probably cost a small fortune for all that thread!
NEVERMIND, I will stick to my costumes:)

Costume Lady said...

Can you drive, Dana...do you need anything?

Judie said...

Well, here I am all sobered up and getting ready to board the jet, pick up Lynn, and head to Lolly's. Course, we may not get there as I can't see squat. Hang on Lynn.

So pleased that Paula took time to give us an update on Ajay. Hope she can rest tonight and be ready to go tomorrow. She can hold Gianni -- just can't life 5lb+. Course, in my case, I milked that for about six months.

Anyone have an update on the WE #07?

Lolly said...

Judie, Jack says to tell you...Pay no attention to the armed guards and the dobermans at the door!

Veal is ready to cook, grill is heating for the shrimp, Jack is stirring the risotto so I can type this. Hey, I like a multi course dinner that is cooked by someone else! This takes time! LOL

Gotta go stir so Jack can grill the shrimp!

BBL

Lolly said...

Ahh, second glass of wine and shrimp coming up, then on to the risotto! And the third glass. ☺

Hey, I can still type!

Lolly said...

I wish I had that machine, Wanda. You do not want to know what I paid to have the names embroidered.

Lolly said...

The six diapers cost $10 (I think!) at Target. With the trim and embroidery you would have to charge at least $12 each, not $3.

hedgie said...

Wanda, very fortunate that Christie was FINE other than her size. The amniocentesis showed that her lungs were not fully developed....but she wouldn't wait----things started happening about 8 hrs. after the amnio and emergency c-sec done 3 hrs. later....guess that proves that tests don't always tell the whole story.

hedgie said...

Looly, if it takes too long between courses, you won't ever get filled up!

hedgie said...

Hey, Lolly Looly----I haven't had any wine, honest!!

Lolly said...

ROFLMBO Not only am I causing you to gain weight, you are now slurring your words. Love it! Second course down....on to the third. This is fun! Bought conversation cards for the boys on our trip. Jack and I have been reading them and answering. fun!

BBL

Costume Lady said...

LOOLY...I was just figuring how long it would take me to get my investment back from the sewing machine as quickly as possible. If I sold the Burpies at $3.00 ea, they would sell like HOT CAKES...then I would have my $999.00 back. Then, sell other Burpies at $10-$12.00. Why, I might even start making my own costumes again:) YAH, RIGHT! Those days are looong gone:(

Judie said...

Looly, tell Jack I love uniforms and dogs!

Lolly said...

Know what you mean, Wanda! From the time I was a teen, I sewed my own clothes. Made my wedding dress! Sewed for Laurel and actually sewed some for Michael. But, no more!!!!!

Okay, third course is over! Actually have saved some of the third course wine for the 4th course. The risotto was yummy. Could have made a meal of it!

Lolly said...

ROFLMBO Oh, Judie! Love it! Jack says...."How about the high voltage wires?"

Remind me to tell you later about Portuguese men in uniform. Oh la la!

Lolly said...

Have posted a pic on family pics blog.

Lynne2 said...

Glad to hear Ajay is fine and going home tomorrow!!!!

Now hoping to hear from Shirley soon to know she has returned home safely.

LOL! Sorry about the Sx confusion...it's the abbreviation for the word surgery that we use in the vet biz.

Well, I am sorry to report that I didn't get the job. I got a message on my VM this afternoon from one of the employees of the vet's, and not even from the vet herself, informing me that they "appreciated my interest in working for them, but they have chosen another candidate". Given the short and pathetic excuse for an interview that I got, and the outright lie that she had "just begun to interview" speech that I got Saturday...I think she had made her mind up long before I got there. Something is just not right here. I know the economy is bad but holy crap....I should have a job by now.

Oh BTW....oooooppppsss...guess I wasn't quite as careful as I thought because I have little itchy bumpies on the underside of my right forearm. UGH. Either that, or I have leprosy. Yeah, probably leprosy, with my incredible luck!! LOL!

Lynne2 said...

OK, what' with the "LOOLY"....you guys been drinking some wine too? LOL!

hedgie said...

So now we know........Judie loves K-9 officers!

hedgie said...

Lynne, so sorry.....but it's probably for the best. If she's wishy-washy and less than truthful....well, you know.

Oh-oh.....wash your arm with bleach!

Sx is also the abbreviation for Symptoms!

I goofed and spelled Lolly Looly, Lynne!

Judie said...

Well, if this doesn't just take the cake -- the peanut butter cake. Had to turn around and drop Lynn back in WV and land in my own backyard. Something about not being cleared to land near Dallas because of some aeronautical person refusing clearance because of some high voltage wires. Ridiculous. My jet runs on AAA batteries. I'm getting Interpol on this first thing in the morning.

Lordy, Looly has had waaaaay too much wine. She thinks she's in Portugal with some men wearing uniforms...probably dobermans in disguise.

Lynne, sorry if you have poisoned ivory. Hate that stuff. Drink some wine. I think not getting the job at that vet's office is a blessing because I cannot believe you would be happy working for someone who uses those tactics in dealing with job applicants. Wonder how she deals with clients and their pets?

Where's Shirley? We better not find out she's in Dallas.

Okay, since I do not have peanut butter cake, I do not have wine, I have not been allowed to land my jet in Dallas, I am going to watch t.v. So there!

Judie said...

Shucks, Lolly, I thought you were posting a pic of Jack in uniform with a dog!

Stopped in for a moment. I am typing up bills for my hubby. He is a master electrician. He has to make some good money because I took the summer off. Shame on me. LOL

Okay, I haven't read all the comments and will do so in a little while.

Are you guys drinking wine. I have to admit. I found a real taste red wine today. Hubby and I had it with dinner. Have to go stock up on it tomorrow.

We just had a thunderstorm. It was a big one. we sat on the sun porch and watched it.

Lynne2 said...

Shirley is probably staying put until everyone who is under the affluance of incohol has passed out.

Lynne2 said...

I love watching thunderstorms on the porch....but very dangerous to be outside when it's lightening. Lightning? Litainging ligheenting.? Pass the wine please. And throw me one of those burp diapers. Why am I seeing 2 of everything?

Lynne2 said...

you guys sure know how to cheer someone up! Thanks!

Think I will go drown my self pity in a bowl of chocolate ice cream. Sugar Free, of course!

Lynne, does your fat-free chocolate ice cream have incohol in it? Powerful stuff, incohol.

Ragdoll said...

The lightening was cloud to cloud. It gets a little scary when it is ground lightening.

Paula, I am so happy that DIL's surgery went well. Thank you Lord for answered prayer.

Ragdoll said...

The wine I had tonight was higher in incohol content then what I usually drink. GOOD STUFF. Potent!!!!
heeheehee!!!

hedgie said...

Ragfoll, if you are doing the billings, then you ARE working this summer!!!

I had a taste of a good beer yesterday----can't remember what it was called but it's a Michelob product (Anheiser-Busch) and it has a hint of orange peel and coriander---not bad!

Lolly said...

Dinner is over. Have the Apple slices yet to do...think we will have it with very little wine. ☺

The veal was delicious, as usual, but you know, I really like a meal all together instead of one course at a time. The wine has been "vunderful" and still sipping on the last glass.

Costume Lady said...

Sounds like "RAGFOLL" and Lynn have had too much wine, tonight;)

Lolly said...

Yep, I am worried about my influence on them.

Ragdoll said...

LYNNE, sorry about the job situation. Sounds like this person is not worth your talent.

Prayers that Lynne doesn't get Poison Ivy.

Lolly said...

Yes, Lynne, so sorry about the job. But, it was probably not what you would have enjoyed. Doors open and close for a reason.

Ragdoll said...

I can't believe it!!! I am here typing away and Annabelle (my ragdoll kitty) keeps staring at the door going out to the porch. I also keep hearing a little rustle noise. Asked my Hubby to come and listen. He catches this little bug and takes it out doors saying "This will take care of what you two are hearing."

On his way in he hears me laughing. Beside a stand in the office. I have a shopping bag on the floor. Well, there was a "tree frog" jumping from the bag to the wall. He would fall down and start over again. The frog is now outside (happy). We cannot figure how this tree frog got into the house.

Good thing we caught it. My cats would of been going nuts all night.

Lynne2 said...

I'm going to bed now....some of you should do the same! LOL! You guys are too much!

Have a good night all...prayers and more prayers for everyone!

hedgie said...

Wunnerful.....now Ragfoll is seeing frogs and bugs.....and blaming it on the cat! Too much wine up there in Maine too!!

Ragdoll said...

Opps !!! I meant to say "the incohol content is MORE the what I usually drunk, I mean drink.

Yea, Hedgie your right. I am working. Now I can sit up straight and tall.

stronghunter said...

Hello to everyone still conscious and able to read at this point. I am not sure what all you have been up to this evening.

It sounds like Judie has gone stark raving mad while trying to fly to Dallas in an airplane that runs on AAA batteries. Lolly is having a variety of wine with every course of her dinner or something like that. Meanwhile, Lynne is into the poison ivy and thinks she has leprosy.

We got home awhile ago. I had some problems getting online.I think my computer thought I was still on the front porch in Maggie Valley. I had to get Will to reset something for me.

The television will not let me watch CNN. I think I have worn out that channel because I like to watch CNN while I blog, so I watch it a lot.

The trip back was fine. There was a cloud hanging over Fredericksburg when we arrived, but I haven't seen any rain here. Maybe a bit to the north.

stronghunter said...

Lynne, somewhere I read that you should clean off poison ivy oils from your skin with alcohol. That's rubbing alcohol, of course.

stronghunter said...

Glad to read that Ajay is doing well.

Ragdoll said...

SHIRLEY, YOUR HOME!!! I hope you had a great time. My camping/hiking trip got canceled because of the heat.

stronghunter said...

Sorry that the trip got canceled, Ragdoll. We were fortunate that we went to a place with reasonable temperatures.

Ragdoll said...

Glad you had a safe trip home, Shirley.

We are going to try our camping/hiking trip again this week. We are leaving Wednesday. It will be a little different then last plans. We are going to camp in one spot and do day hikes.

One of the guys going with us is starting chemo next Tuesday and he really wants to hike this trail. So we are doing all we can to make this happen. He is a very strong person. Prayers for Toni, Please - Thank you.

Judie said...

On a sobering note, I guess it's time to pull the plug on the comedy hour. Sure was fun tonight.

Hope Shirley and Jo return tomorrow. Forgot to say hi to Wanda and Loweeda, so Hi to you both

Paula, again, so happy that Ajay will be going home tomorrow. She'll be just fine.

Turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others who may stagger in later on. Please stagger quietly as some of us will have headaches. Dana, remember there is a new security system for you.

Off to find the snandperpsonage.

Sounds like a fun evening on the blog!

Ajay doing well, John finally on his way home...her Dad is staying with her tonight...all 3 kids in bed, played with, fed, bathed and now snoozing! Kitchen is clean, diaper bag ready for tomorrow .Got a large basket of laundry folded, but haven't made a dent on what's in the basement. Laundry out the wazzoo!

No Palmer sounds or sightings?

paula eagleholic said...

And once again, thanks for all your prayers for Ajay. They ended up removing L4 and took two pieces out of L5 that were pressing on her nerve. And she ate a good dinner tonight!

Ragdoll said...

Thank you for the mockingbird video. Too funny.

I am so glad Lily and Hope are back together AGAIN. Was this a teen pregnancy??? Lily needs to settle down and take care of her BABY!!! Poor Little Hope.

Toni had chemo last year and he did great. We are praying it will go good again this time. Toni has lung cancer. Tears!!! Nice man.

I am glad your chemo wasn't to bad. Are you still doing fine?

PA Nana said...

I tried, but it'll never happen. No way can I catch up after days away.

I see that Ajay is on the way home tomorrow. Prayers that she's back to her old self in no time.

Loolly is drowning her delicious meal in wine; Lynne is watching for poison or Leprosy; Shirley is home - hurray; and Judie is trying to fly a AAA battery charged plane to Texas without luck; Lynn had to be taken back home because Judie couldn't get the necessary clearance and I was waiting at HIA.
terminal ;o)

Dana sure hope you're doing better

Now, a cold Guinness would hit the spot for me. I'd also consider a Margarita. I know, I know, I can't mix these with my meds, but ..... sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Lynn, the picture of your girl is beautiful - happy birthday to her.

So sad about Phoenix. Reminds me of Koo. Now I need that Guiness.
Pray Lily and Hope are together.
Have to check fb.

Good night everyone. Pleasant dreams and prayers for all needs/wants.

I sure hope that tree frog didn't bring it's whole family in the house and we don't know about it YET!!!I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night with a frog across my face. eeeeeeeee!

Good night eagle buddies!!!
Prayers for all healing, needs and wants. Praise for all answered prayers. Sweet feather floating dreams. Night Night

Have been watching TV. It has been a fun evening. Excuse my silliness! Jack even got into it! LOL More fun!

Paula, so glad all is going well. Yes, it takes a lot to maintain a family of little ones, but it is so rewarding.

Hello to all coming in and goodnight to those turning in!
Lovely video of Lily & Hope. Funny seeing that milk all over the fur!! And Lily sure likes goading Hope into play!
Not a teen pregnancy, Diane, but June sure didn't give Lily good maternal instinct....but since it's her first time, guess we have to give her some slack!

Paula.....no sight or sound of Palmer.....think she's flown to juvie school someplace else.
You worked hard this evening!

Ragdoll, prayers for Toni for sure. And tell him to hang in there!! I'm a 5 yr. survivor of small cell.

Almost time to go upstairs and remove as much basset hair and slobber from my body as possible before retiring. I thought it was bad enough to have a basset nose rubbing on my arm all the way back from Maggie Valley. Then she sneezed! Sweet Luna. I don't mind. But I will need a shower.

hedgie said...

Shirley, glad you are home safe and sound. News made it sound like Fredericksburg got clobbered! Must have been on opposite side of the burg!!

hedgie said...

I'm calling it a day here. See you tomorrow. Prayers for all. And thanks for the fun!

Just heard from Candy. She has made her reservations for the Open Houst in Oct. Think that is fantastic!

Saw the hope update. Need to go watch the video.

Tomorrow is Daughter Day - love her visits
Going back the hallway.....

Good Night to everyone and remember that we came for the Eagles and stayed for the friendships we have made! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Prayers for all wants/needs & for thanksgiving.

Fredericksburg itself got clobbered while I was gone. But just a small part of town. It was an isolated storm. I don't know about tonight. I did not see any rain here tonight. We saw the cloud from the south as we were coming up I-95 and thought it might be pretty bad.

Good night.

Shirley, glad you had a great weekend and are now home safe and sound.

Want you all to know...we made it to the dessert course, and even finished it off with a wee bit of chocolate. (Brought home from the wedding Saturday)

I am off to shower. It has been a great evening. Yes, I came for the Eagles, but stayed for the friendships I have made.

Sweet dreams! (((HUGS)))

I see a Southern Lady who is a little bit Tipsy running around with chocolate on her mouth, trying to find batteries for Judie's Jet. Lynn is running down the runway with a bag full of AAA batteries and telling Judie to pick up Looly and head for Portugal...there are some good lookers there, in uniform:)
Lynne can't go because she has Leprosy, and that is contagious. Dana can't go because she is LOFLBO. Jo can't go, she's already headed down the hallway...Shirley is back in her closet again, hiding because she thinks there are a bunch of Winos looking for her...not so, Shirley, come out of the closet:) Ragfoll is chasing a frog, so she can't board that plane, Paula is babysitting and Lowreeda is eating watermelon and pop-sickles. I can't go...have to pick up Dustin tomorrow (my helper). Sooo, if Judie, Lynn, and Looly can keep enough batteries in that Jet, they may get back from Portugal in time for OPEN HOUSE.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Hi, Everyone,
Just got home from my late night at school. Looks like I missed quite an evening here!

Glad to hear that Ajay is doing well! Praise God! So glad they were able to fix what was causing so much pain and misery! Prayers for a continued speedy recovery!

Prayers, too, for Toni--tell him to hang in there. Hope the chemo isn't too bad--some of the ones they have now aren't quite so rough.

Lynne, sorry about the job interview. Their loss, though, not yours! Something better is certain to turn up! Hope you don't get poison ivy! Yuck!

Judie, sorry you couldn't get clearance to land your plane! Maybe next time.

Shirley, glad you're home OK. Bet George is thrilled! Know what you mean about Basset hair & slobber. We have 2 Basset "grandpuppies"! Our daughter in TX has them. They're named Copper Ale and Samuel Adams! Love them both to pieces!

I'm pretty tired, so guess I'll call it a night. Prayers said for everyone. The night light is on, for those staggering in late. The porch light is automatic. The eye scanner security (AND Dana's thumbprint security!) are enabled.
Sleep tight, everyone, and don't let the tree frogs bite! God bless, and good night. Will talk to you tomorrow. Am going to turn up the TV sound to drown out the night herons. Love you guys! :o]

Good morning eagle friends!

I've been watching the last two mornings and haven't seen our precious little girl Palmer.

Does anyone know her last return to the nest?

I hope you are all doing well. Sounds like a lot of surgeries are happening. Better extend my prayer list.

I'm still watching...and waiting.

Morning all. Was very cloudy but now sun is out. We had a good downpour last night just after MN....humid, but not steamy----yet!

Loretta, definitely prayers for your friend in Paw Paw. Keep us posted.

Lori....sad to say that I think Palmer has flown the coop for good. Sad for us, but happy for her!

Lolly, thanks for posting about Candy.....I completely forgot to tell everyone!!!

GOOD MORNING...
Lynn, we didn't get a DROP of rain here:( Did you get enough to help a little?

Lolly said...

Good morning! Have read the paper and enjoyed my coffee but need to head to church soon. Have a few weeds in my garden there that need to be pulled. It is looking great though. Want to get there before it gets much hotter. It is a full sun garden.

Loweeda...prayers for your friend. Keep us informed.

Laurel starts home today. It is a 5 hour drive for her and the boys. Will be glad when she is home.

Wanda, loved your commentary! LOL

Lolly said...

Wanda, watched your butterfly release video. He did not want to leave your finger!

Lolly said...

Palmer is now down on Eagle School Road learning what all good little eagles need to learn. Do wish she would pay us one last visit...need to say good bye!

Judie said...

Good morning, everyone.

Getting a late start here. Need a big mug of coffee this a.m. as feeling a bit wobbly AND I think I saw the shiny green garland -- combination of incohol and jet lag.

Prayers for your friend, Loweeda.

Loweeda, thank you so much for the update. It is good to know what I actually did last night. Couldn't figure out why there's a jet in the driveway and a case of AAA batteries on the kitchen counter.

SI L5 was my disc location.

Hope we get an early update from Paula but I suspect she's working her butt off being grandma, doing laundry, and cleaning for Ajay.

Have a good, quiet day at work Margy.

I just did not realize what my having a wine pairing dinner would do to my friends in far away places. I do apologize!!

I am more than a little concerned about Judie! She really thinks a plane will fly on AAA batteries? I think it's a 9 volt.

Still have my Portugal/uniform story to tell you. ☺

I am off....need to get to church and pull weeds!

Have a great day! (Leftovers tonight and no wine!)

Haven't seen her in weeks. Hurray!

Carolyn got a call(message) from 911 boss-she returned call and she was in a meeting....waiting for return call. Please keep fingers crossed and pray that it is going to be the right news!
