Thanks Steve and Margy. Good morning everyone. A gorgous cool day in Alabama. Will really be nice this weekend with temps in the 60's. I'm sure Donnie knows about the wax story already.
Howdy all:) Thanks, Steve:) What just happened on our nest-was there a switch, or just a position change? anyone know, got too many screens up here..missed all the action.
That's alright, red. I have the cam up and I still missed exactly what happened. Working on another screen, made my own 'pop up cam' by minimizing cam page until it just fits into the corner of screeen, so I can still work and see it, maybe that'll help.
I've been watching some videos from Big Rig Steve. He has one where he goes to an underground food warehouse in Missouri. So I Googled it and found a interesting article on how Kraft Foods are saving a bundle of money there with refridgeration savings.

Hi Paula. Yes, I know eggs are usually 3 days apart--seems like with all that sitting and adding fluff hopefully they will be alright! ☺
It seems that at Park every year when ospreys come back, they are later faced with awful weather including ice storms. Of course they haven't laid eggs yet. They just sit on nest & face the wind.

Good morning all! Have been lurking while reading the paper. I was keeping a really close eye on OK. She was sitting in the nest for a long time. Finally she flew.....no egg yet, but it could be any time.
You are most welcome, Wanda! LOL I don't know what happens to me when Jack is gone....I do not get sleepy. I stay up late, but do sleep good when I go to bed in the wee hours.
I am so excited! Diet is working. I am loosing weight! Going to stick with it. Retirement and good eating did me in!
Norma, my internet explorer freezes up all the time when I have our cam up, have to restart it a lot, so it might not be a problem with your computer on that one.
I've been able to get NBG up---using the WVEC link in My Faves from last year. A couple times when I first brought it up, it had the black screen, but has been OK now.
I am on Internet Explorer and I freeze up all the time as well. I think everyone is having problems with freezing up on this cam. The OK cam is not freezing.
It is what it is! We are all learning how to deal with it and how to refresh!☺

Live Feed - I thought we had a beautiful ice bird sitting on our 2 eggs! I sure hope that sunshine come hot & heavy very soon! That fluff is their Down Comforter.
Wednesday, February 4 Xi Lan has discovered leafeater biscuits! We feed the giant pandas leafeater biscuits daily, which contain vitamins, minerals and protein. In appearance, they resemble dog biscuits. We use them as training rewards and as a supplement to the bamboo. The pandas love them! Over the weekend, I saw Xi Lan pick up one of Lun Lun's biscuits and start chewing on it. He has been interested in them for a while, but this is the first time I have seen him pick one up. He gnawed on it for a couple of minutes until Lun Lun noticed that he had it. When she did, she took it right out of his mouth! I guess mother knows best, because Xi Lan is not ready to eat biscuits yet. I don’t think he ingested any of the biscuit, he just chewed on it; his teeth are still coming in, so he chews on everything he can get his mouth around. Pretty soon, though, Lun Lun will have some stiff competition for those biscuits! I remember when Mei Lan started eating biscuits. She ate all the ones she could find before Lun Lun could eat them. Been going thru lots of sites-saw Beakspeak has new look. When I came back to our nest, looks like a giant White bird!!! Sunshine I guess! Many have been talking about an OK eagle nest. I couldn't find it. I know last year an OK home page had a pic of 4 eggs & then cam was down I think.
Count me in, Sharon! I just might need new skates, tho.... I've had the cam up in the corner of my screen all morning, I could tell a huge difference when the current eagle sat in the nest cup, he's down much further, he's smaller.

Hi gang. Been lurking. Not feeling too chatty today...sinuses are making my teeth ache. Margy, Christie is always complaining about the heat at Jefferson. Good afternoon dear ones, Back to the third egg, will it have to be laid by tomorrow (Friday) During the last 5 years, has there always been the three eggs? Just wondering mauley donna

Hedgie....sorry you are feeling bad, Get well quick! I am feeling GREAT and want everyone to feel as good as I do!
Back yard has been a riot this morning. I had a flock of cardinals playing in the stream. So pretty! Got the binoculars to watch, and spotted at the same time a red bellied wood pecker, blue jay, tit mouse, wrens, doves, and a mockingbird. My yard was hopping!
Hi, Dana - I saw your "Hi" to me. So, we're still at 2 eggs, right? It is still cold up here on this mountain. It's 12 degrees! Was 3 degrees when I got here this AM. Yes, Norma, we do have a lot of bats here in Pendleton County - because we have a lot of caves. Well, I gotta get back to work.
Jo....great article and video on NBG and Buddy. Last week the cam was aimed at a camera crew on the ground. Bet that was when they were filming that video. Thanks!
Buddy, is special to me as we visited that nest, remember? I knew him when he was an egg! LOL
Chrissy just picked up my email card. Vets don't come cheap - Similar event here dealing with a feline.. Over $200 spent and then still had to be put to sleep. But it is what it is!

No Norma, you wouldn't...just put me to work. ☺ But, thank you for the nice words. I just came on to say that I saw where the OK nest is empty again...so I am going to head outside. While you guys are freezing it is 70 here today. We missed this last front! Anyway, it is just so nice outside. I am going to go mow. Really no grass to mow, but hey, it makes the yard look nice mulching the leaves, twigs, etc. So, see you later....Gators! BBIALW

I think it is Liberty that plays so much with the fluff - do you think so Mema?
I thought the same thing, Jo, it would make sense they are alot further south.

I was going to say, I am watching the gobblers at Pix PA, see some snow in their beards, but no snowballs yet ! ☺
but they are leaving now, missed my chance at getting a picture.
Megan, you saw the switch, is it Liberty that flew in?
Good morning everyone! It is freezing outside and inside the hospital today! I think I'm going to have icicles coming off my nose soon!

I think it's Lib now, he looks way smaller sitting there now, ... but I'm guessing...
Margy I'm not sure which one of our
eagles is the most Fluffy! I will pay some attention to that.
That sounds like a good name for a Roller Derby team-
Bluefield Bruisers...
I wonder if last year goofed up the eagles at NBG for their egg laying timing. I've been sort of noticing a pattern, but not sure of my eyeballs..about which bird is which sometimes.
Danelle: cold in the hospital? What's up with that ?
I could never use a cane on you two, no matter what! :)
megan, do you want to join the Bluefield Bruisers?
Size wise I think it is Lib also.
Hedgie will have a fit if she reads cold hospital ! ...speaking of which, Hedgie, where are you ?
good info, Deb.
NO - I do not want the wax, thanks anyway - too old for that stuff !
Been going thru lots of sites-saw Beakspeak has new look. When I came back to our nest, looks like a giant White bird!!! Sunshine I guess!

Also, tomorrow is Frank Beahan's birthday...not a very good one for them....Chrissy said they have spent over $300 on the vet since yesterday.
Chrissy just picked up my email card.
Vets don't come cheap - Similar event here dealing with a feline.. Over $200
spent and then still had to be put to sleep. But it is what it is!
Chrissy's Scampy is now in a very happy place with no pain!
Egg adjustment, turned around facing cam.
Thanks, Lolly...I suspect I'll feel better when the weather warms up a bit! Congrats on losing weight...it's never easy!!
She picked up mine, too, Jo.

I know, Mema Jo. Wanda was on here talking about not being able to get the NBG cam and then she went poof!
Egg roll
The colder it is the faster the egg rolls
Yea, she really jumped back on them quickly. Only 22° here and windy, sun is in and out of the clouds as you can see on cam.
BBIALW
MEGAN---Have you started planning for your gardens---bet that takes a lot of planning!!---Such beautiful fields of flowers!!!---and birds---
