Mason had an awesome day with the therapists and Sylvia. George the OT had Mason grabbing his sleeve and releasing on request, 12 times. For Nakea the PT he stuck his tongue out at her. He will thumbs up almost every time (I think every time), there is more I can't remember. Sylvia put the small guitar in his hands helped him make a chord, then asked Mason to change the chord and he did. Successful work is going to depend a lot on him and getting him to make the effort to make things happen, so we will keep at it and keep urging him on. All of the stimulation recently has, I think, had a great effect on Mason. We can tell by his eyes. Send us some energy and keep this going.
Hahaha. Cars.... I really love mine. It's very fast and it does all those wonderful sporty things that car-loving men like as though it were a world champion. (It's a 2003 Dodge SRT-4). But between them adding two lights every block out here, old age, and now high gas prices, I am lucky to drive 6000 mi./yr.!! In early March it will be 6 years, and I only have maybe 28K miles on it.
Makes it feel like I'm driving a new race car every time I take it on an excursion to the mountains though... Did I say I love it??
I was just checking into the CC eagle cams. The eagles at Cam 2, moved to a new nest, so not CC2 this year. CC1 was being repaired in the middle of November, but the eggs should have been laid by now. I can't imagine they will do any cam work now. Maybe we won't be seeing any Florida eagles this year.
Wednesday Night Clear. Low: 50° F. / 10° C. Wind NNW 8 mph. / 14 km/h. Thursday Clear. High: 69° F. / 21° C. Wind NNW 8 mph. / 14 km/h. Thursday Night Clear. Low: 50° F. / 10° C. Wind NW 8 mph. / 14 km/h. Friday Clear. High: 69° F. / 21° C. Wind North 6 mph. / 10 km/h.
Good morning everyone. I also voted for Fu Mei “handsome and happy boy” as the name for Panda boy cub.
Dana, yes I am the dishwasher but my assistant is having problems and today my garage door broke. Guess there's something else on its way as trouble usually comes in three's. lol
I refreshed our blog & have no idea where this format came from. Don't think I care for it too much because I can't readily see all your other comments. I wish we could have some input with some of these changes..Let's see what goes.....
Paula, Jo was worried that she hadn't announced it, I just let her know that Jim did. Does it change the refresh when the eggs are laid? I thought it did that last year, but can't remember.
Hello all. Caught up now on blog...got Jo's report in my AOL mail about PAtrick and the vidoe...wonderful news! During the night I got hit by the bronchitis bug. While in tub, dog had an accident in basement, and by odor she has her urinary tract infection back...thank goodness she is being kenneled w/ one of the vets...so went to my doc after I dropped her off and got antibiotics. Now finishing up last minute laundry and starting to pack. Jim, your car sounds like fun!! How 'bout of pic of you behind the wheel??!! A guy at luncheon yesterday has a 2000 Chevy p/u w/ over 400,000 miles. Original engine and transmission. His service guy says he has to report it to GM when it hits 500,000...maybe they'll give him a new one and put this one in the museum!! That all depends on whether "we" survive this fiscal crisis, I guess!
Hello Everyone in Eagleland! ☺ Here at Chelsea have Harry Heron, a few geese, mergansers & kingfisher at the pond. Had 2 hawks above--one silent, the other squealing.

When I published my comment - I was right back here......
My blog is the same as always.
Great song, Megan!
Good, Jo, you had me wondering what was coming!
Thanks for the info on CC Deb. I had emailed them about the cam, but hadn't heard anything back other than "we'll check on it."
Time for me to get ready for another
Shot In The Eye!
Oh for the life of Youth - at least the health of Youth.
Be back before I leave.
Sorry I didn't announce BWE being up
I come in so late, I thought it was a known fact! Enjoy.
Jim announced about BWE this morning.
Apparently a raccoon destroyed the CC2 nest, so they moved on. Good thing, we wouldn't want to worry about a coon getting in that nest all season.
looks like ISS will be visible for the nest week:) Margy will love that:)
Screaming eagle w/ fish at BWO now...chased the eewwiiee off
Yes he did, Deb.
I hadn't had to time to read this morning's comments!
I think I'm ready for a nap. I'll be back later.
Paula, Jo was worried that she hadn't announced it, I just let her know that Jim did. Does it change the refresh when the eggs are laid? I thought it did that last year, but can't remember.
quick look at BWO now!
Darn, I typed too slow. I will post the picture I wanted you to see on my Nest Picture blog.
I should have typed refresh time when I asked about BWE. I put the funny picture on my page, it is the second one.
That was cool, Deb...
Did you see them both calling out?
Deb - I think she will leave both cams at 30 seconds

Will check back in in a little while.
I was thinking one of the cams was at 60 seconds last year, but they are both at 30 now. My memory must be off. I did see them calling, Paula.
Lynn, sorry to hear about your bronchitis and your dog's infection, hope the meds work quickly for you both. Are you flying or driving on your trip?
I am off to run errands, BBL, hopefully in time for a visit.
