We passed a milestone a couple of weeks ago that I didn't notice at the time. We are now at post 1017 for this blog. Thanks to all who help make the NCTC Eagle Cam Daily an active and vibrant world-wide community for folks interested in eagles and all other critters as well. A thousand posts about a nest in little Shepherdstown, WV is a lot!
We did some work yesterday to cut back trees that were interfering with the microwave signal from the nest. In addition, our guys are planning for the next season, which will happen sooner that we all think. We're working on some technological improvements to allow more reliable video. More on that later.

FOOD CHANNEL NETWORK...ACE OF CAKES....is a bakery in Baltimore, Maryland specializing in custom made cakes....they did a viking ship for a wedding cake, also a 50th anniversary cake, they put a digital photo frame in it with pics of the couple through the years, and they made 75 small replicas of the cake for their guest....very talented, eclectic group of people

BUT, surprise, surprise, my live feed seems to be working very well today. I haven't seen that working in a couple of months, I don't believe.

Taking a lunch break and saw your question. Yesterday or day before...Live Cam started working again...isn't it wonderful? Read Steve's comment on The Daily page for Thursday.
It is a little windy, but a beautiful day (67°).

Hi, Anne-Marie. No, no rain yet, although we did have some surprise showers on Monday.
It "is" cloudy and supposed to be a lot cooler today ... we've had a long series of 80's and 90's lately.
