I can't tell what's going on - seems blurry maybe because one of the eggs is moving? my images are never as clear as some of your smight be from waht I've heard y'all describe There's definitely something going on there though

Just a FYI for all you eagle lovers out there (oh yeah, that would mean all of you), the NU live cam is back up and running. There were eaglets in there a couple of times today. They have had intermittent problems with the live feed but have pictures you can see throughout the day. But, this evening the live feed was back up. Dark there right now though but be sure to check it out tomorrow. You never know.

maybe because it is noontime there and the heat of the sun is keeping them warm - but hoping it is because someone is pecking their way out of the shell...
Well, I missed most of the Frieda thing, but I did get to see her turn one egg before she settled back down...got the pic.
One of the pictures I posted is now in the latest album in Brisbane...the first one where she is standing up.

So did I Paula, but checked there a few days ago and saw the still pics. For some reason today I tried the live feed and there it was!! That nest reminds me more of our nest than any other I have seen so it feels kind of homey to me!
I can't see w/ that plant in the way either, Sharon. Think it is growing!
I'm having a hard time making out any eggs clearly think there are two for sure tucked behind the clump of green darn weeds - know she likes them to spruce things up but man they do get in the way of seeing (guess that's her point) Oh well - can't believe she's still off the nest

Well that was interesting...she was off nest a long time...finally came back....walked over top where I thought I could see atleast one egg..tucked head down towards her belly like pushing eggs under her and plopped down.

Well I see freida has sort of settled down on the eggs again now. Hmmm Thought we were gonna have some reall excitement there for a while. Won't be long til we get to watch some little fuzz balls, at least with the 10 sec still. That'll help us pass a little time in apretty cute way.

Well i am finally home had alate customer come in but didnt give him my usual spill about please bring final purchase's to counter its time to close..lol He always spends alot and he did $197.27 .. Any ways have Freida up on cam, gona keep her up as long as i can stay awake.. If it really raining hard n windy tomarrow we will be closed...That plant had growed!! Grrrrr all the rain over there helped it Tai was asleep on the ledge... Mom is on the floor by the lil room unless i am mixed up it dark...lol Now Frieda turned around and man that was fast she is looking the other way now, showing us her best side..lol Ruffin feathers, she sure is moving around alot , anyone else see it to?? Perhaps a egg is hatchinggg. Geeez now i will be on egg hatchin watch all night..lol
Well, Redskins lost again. Husband still convinced they are hiding their greatness til the real season! Time will tell. Nite All.

She was off them for a little while earlier, Belle thought something might be happening then. I think it is too early yet for the chicks, couple of 5 days yet at best.

8:55 pm Arizona time, Frieda is puffed out over her eggs, her rear end to the camera. Looking over her shoulder. She's so cute -- can't wait to see those babies!
mauley I'll be 34 this year. I remember being 12 years old and thinking that 30 was just horribly ancient. The night before I turned 30, I was a mess -- it was the end of my twenties, and I'd never be "twenty-something" ever again. When I woke up the next morning, I thought, "I just don't even care about how old I am anymore." Plus, I consider my birthday as a post-cancer anniversary, sort of a "starting over" birthday. So, this year, I'll be NINE YEARS OLD! Hahahah!!!
Gotta run... hafta get up early to help Jody take some juvenile Great Horned Owls to flight training at Adobe Mountain. I'm going to try to take pictures of some of the place so you all can see it (Jody's and Adobe). Maybe I can talk the boss up there to let me see Montana -- maybe even get her on a glove or a perch next to me so I can send the picture to all of you! Cross your fingers...
9:01 pm... Freida got up for a stretch and to turn the eggs... still three eggs, no hatchlings yet... few more days, I would think... someone better watch closely and get a picture when they do hatch!

Frieda is quite fidgety, getting up and changing position and rearranging every few minutes... I wonder if she's feeling the chicks moving around in the eggs, and she's checking to see if they've hatched...

There is a small black bird that keeps coming in the NU nest and the eaglet keeps chasing him out. Brave or stupid bird, don't know which.

Suzanne sounds like you had a great Eagle day yesterday. I'm jealious lol kidding.
When I kept asking about the eagle pic yesterday. It was that I thought in here you had an eagle pic by your name lol senior moment.
Mits better wait it out in DC. Ocean city cams show high waves and rough.
See only 2 people on the boardwalk usually this time in am lots.
Now there are 3 black birds in the nest with the eaglet. He keeps chasing them out. It is so funny. Hope one doesn't end up as breakfast!
Person standing out at Rehoboth Beach you can see his shirt is all twisting from the wind.
Now the blackbirds are dive bombing the eaglet. If he just had a little more training, I am afraid they would pay the ultimate price for that!!
Sharon doesn't that make you think; if he is still around there.
Ours are probably still around the tree too. Especially since S.W. said he seen them.
Maybe after storm is over I can get husband to drive me down there.
Just checked on Lil Smurf. He was in nest nice and dry there. Flew off probably to get himself breakfast.
Eagle flew off in NU nest and now 3 blackbirds are all around in there. Almost like they are picking at pieces of food crumbs.
Tai and Mei are out in the yard. Cam isn't zooming in on them yet.
Tai's not up a tree yet either.

Good Morning Everyone.. Been up awhile and watching the weather channel yeah yeah for over an hour now..lol Also been checking out live beach cameras up and down the east coast..Ocean City is a ghost town no one on boardwalk or beaches...We are getting rain here but not hard yet.. Checked in on Tiger & cubs they must have had them seperated this mom and mom was having a fit even showed her teeth and could tell she was growling as keepers walked by... Havent seen Tia this morning yet ... Elephants are getting a bath.. When i tryed to look at NU Eagle cam said it was down for awhile??? Ok more critter checking.. Oh and i watched Freida til after 3 am this morning no hatching yet.. Suz you watch the road and not the sky going home and please be careful.. Mauley how nice to hear from you again.. What exactly do you teach i think i remember English?? Ooooo i dont like it sorry but i am a history and geography nut.. Have a great Day stay dry everyone!!!

Suzanne, you are so blessed to see the eagles, and I am so envious that you will have to forgive me.Sharon I have the rufus sided towhee and I love them so much that I bought the Ray Harm print of them. When I love something so much, I try to buy an art print by some good artist I like, Like Ray Harm or Charles Spaulding, or local artist here, Mitchell Tolle, to celebrate my love for them. That's why I want a Todd picture of our eagle family so I may mat and frame and put in my gallery to cherish (Hint Hint to someone out there.)

Guess Sharon is trying to get her work done. Told about the baby towhee but didn't come back to tell me about it's size...they get 7-9 1/2" but that's a baby wonder if it is size of a sparrow?? Oh well keep wondering dana lol

Nilla, if you click on the 56K link, the live feed will come up. It is just intermittent problems and has been working well this morning. It was wonderful seeing the eaglet even though it had to fight off the black birds.
The towhees are about the size of the parents now.
I have been working hard since 4 a.m. I have to leave at 11 to go to the hospital to train a new girl so have to get my time in before then. No slacking today, no time to make it up later! Ball game tonight, I am sure in the rain. That is okay, those babies in the band can play in any type of weather (except thunderstorms of course).

Well everyone be careful on the roads... The Cheetas are laying in the litter box at National zoo... Just took my medicine and thinking of going back for asnooze again... Then again i should also go to the grocery store... Naaaa bed sounds better..lol I doubt very seriously if we are open tonight because daughter is working til 5 pm and it will be bad before then and she will close and go home... Ok off for some surfin n back to bed...
Ok now I have to go out to grocery store before this storm gets worse. Oh my I hate that ... long lines.
