Oh those bussards are ugly ,but very useful. They can clean up a dead animal in no time.Gross, but true, maybe that's why they aren't pretty, remember we can't all be supermodels.

glo said...

OK Now I will try to forward the card I just sent to belle to some of you Buzzards...I mean Momsters Hold on LOL

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Yeah, and don't forget, Buzzards are people too! :):):)

glo said...

Ok I hope I remembered everyone who added something and you get to see the card LOL.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Glo, Belle - you've got mail.

floralgirl said...

Yea, and actually they are vultures, not buzzards.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Okay, bird experts, what kind of buzzard do we have here?

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Floralgirl, great minds! You answered as I was asking.

floralgirl said...

It's a turkey vulture, probably attracted to the smell of rotting food left in the nest.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

From Glo:

I have forwarded it to all who added something and those for who I sorta put words in their mouth. LOL Have a good day. Hopefully Belle has gotten it on the other end LOL

Off to work for me.

Buzzards (or turkey vultures) have blocked Glo from blogging!

They are rather homely, but interesting to watch.Sometimes they sit on the farmer's fenceposts with their wings spread out for hours catching the sun.Kinda cool looking. In the winter we have a large group of them that has shown up for a few yrs.now, they all roost in a couple of trees at nite, about 30 to 40 of them.Spooky looking,it would make a good Halloween picture.Sometimes there will be a black vulture with them. Gotta go outside for a while-BBL

Doreen, I am back from band camp! Wonderful week. Nilla is in the hospital with high blood pressure and don't know what else. Mits has a beautiful new granddaughter named Maggie. Glo has a tribute page on Rainbow Bridge for her son's baby dog who passed away last week. Belle is having surgery tomorrow. Card has been made to sent to Nilla in the hospital. Mema Jo is having a crown fixed today.

Have I missed anything?

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

And Glo has been blocked from the blog! :( Hi Glo!

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Belle, check the email I sent to you (it has my comments inserted in it already).

Pinky - you wonderwoman you - thank you for saving me all that leg work - you're the best!

Doreen! HI - synopsis of the events .. Mits is a grandma - baby Maggie - Sorry can't recall her 'full name' she was born premmie and there are some complications perhaps, no details, but we're praying...

Some eaglet sightings by Jo, Nilla and Pinky (formerly known as WVGAL Vicky)

Nilla is in hospital, been having trouble with headaches and blood pressure, possibly re-emmergence of past problems, we're sending prayers her way too

Geula our Israel luv is having a long visit from grandchildren and mentioned having to occassionaly go into a safe room, so we're praying ceasefire will end those worries and they're safe..

Suzanne went to vist a local zoo and got some pictures of their triplet white tiger cubs, we're awaiting her figuring out the new camera so she can get the pics out to share with us...

Glo is still doing a bit of work for the company she retired from to help them out - very sad at the loss of her son's lovely companion dog, Lady - read the tribute when you can - it is heartfelt and beautiful.

Sharon is home from band camp

Norma is wonderful as always!

Hmmm rest of us have had our various and sundry moments, but that's the hightlight of the drama as I can recall it at the moment? If I left anything out it was not intentional for sure!
