IMHO as an eagle nest watcher - Bonking is an act of nature and NOT cam instilled!
David - I don't agree with you!

Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!

I don't hear static, but do hear the sound of heavy wind. Eagle doing the brooding now is watching something of interest.

JUDIE, Happy "Do" Day!

LOLLY, sorry to hear Joseph is under the weather. Hope he's feeling better very soon.

SHIRLEY, Rus is blessed with a loving family that is willing to help on short notice! Have I missed something? Where is he moving to? I don't know when I'll get bone density test results. If there is no significant change I imagine I'll be staying on the current drug and may not hear anything til' I see my doc in May.

Hey, JO, you must have sensed my presence!☺

Have a good day all!

Prayers for those in need!!!

Hi Kay,

Rus will be staying in the same area. Not sure exactly where he will decide to go at the moment. The house was just too big for him. He will be looking for something smaller.

I had to turn the volume down because of static. But I did hear some eagle calls. Our eagle is very alert at the moment, but they do seem to stay that way during the daylight hours. I think that's Belle.

Not hearing static now, just the wind.

Eggs being rolled.

Well, my goodness, I cannot quite believe the eaglets are trying to impress an audience with their bonking. And, I do not see that eagles are always gentle. Parents are gentle with their offspring, but offspring are not always gentle with one another. Eagle cams have given us the opportunity to learn a great many things about these beautiful wild creatures.

Looking back . . . I see that David was being sarcastic. I should hope so. Silly man.

wow what a whooper of a fish delivered by Shep

That will get you up off those eggs

Lunch delivery!! I think our Belle is hungry. She hollered when she saw Shep arriving.

We are now on wide view. I missed the tour. Eggs exposed for the moment while Belle has her lunch. Shep has poofed.

Thanks Shirley - honors Law Enforcement

She must be starved - did you notice the pinkish coloring of that large fish!

Good thing the weather isn't that cold - I thought Shep would be incubating while
she eats........

To me it was obvious he was being sarcastic and I thought his comment funny! Without cams there is no way to know about eaglet behavior!

Just finished our 30 minute walk and want to thank our Eagles for entertaining me. First there was the tour. Then watched as a fish was brought in. Very hungry Belle devoured it while Shep hopped to the stump and then flew away. No sound but knew there was a disturbance for Belle as she was ducking, watching and calling out! Then she got up and did a little more calling but soon calmed down. Then she left the nest and apparently just circled the nest as she came in from the other side. Surveying her domain or an an itch to fly and exercise her wings?

Time to put on my grubbies and head outside. Wish you could see my daffodils. It is a good year for them and just beautiful!
