Good dental report. Not so good is the amount of money for a basic cleaning. Outrageous!
I see that Jo's part of the world has had some excitement this morning. We are in troubled times these days.
The cut & paste done by JudyE was the message contained in the body of a Shirley's hacker email. Can't remember if both I received had a link but one did. Probably not a good idea to bring that sort of information to the blog. If the hacker is lurking he/she gets attention.
Hope Lynne2 is feeling better. I also thought blasting kid rock would end the problem.
Going to take care of a small amount of laundry, put my feet up, and wait for the washer to beep at me.

well I tried to post the picture from Petsmart but link didn't work. It is on my fb page and public. Hmmm Maybe that will work. No biggy if you miss it. It was fun to get it taken for our first Halloween though. Not really a costume just a candy corn pattern sweater with a pumpkin on it you can't even see.

Shirley, I'm sure it was an "exciting day" at Hunter's school with all the reporters camped out. Did they have counselors in the building to talk with any kids who were feeling anxious?

Judie, I know what you mean about dentist charges. Right now we both have dental insurance b/c the school district covers most of the premiums but that won't be the case when I retire.

Jo, there was a shootout at the Sheetz in Frederick today. Bad guy spending the night in the morgue. So, just how soon do you plan to visit Sheetz and MacDonald's? Seriously, the shootout occurred at the Sheetz.
Maybe I need to find a new dentist. Really like the hygienist but this area is getting way too expensive.
Sandi, glad Sam at least was able to avoid being arrested today. Must have been your charming personality along with the candy.

good afternoon to all. its been a busy day.
I took Olivia out to get some new jeans and shirts. she was most cooperative today. allergy shot of course, and that meant a trip to Wendy's for her. we went by the Walmart and then party city. whew, I was done.
I have a cake baking in the oven for the crew and taters cooking. we have left over pork roast from last night and plenty of sides.
thinking of mom today. 8 years ago this morning she traveled thru the veil to the other side. I baked one of her cake recipies....a marble cake.
hope everyone is doing well and that all news is good news.....will check in later.
Good evening. Sitting at open house for school. I don't really enjoy wasting my evening, but that's what you have to do when in a private school. It's all about marketing and numbers these days. Drives me nuts.
I wish we didn't go so crazy filling seats. I have a hell of a class this year. I wish my numbers were lower! Oh well, until I move to FL I'm stuck.
I see we have no cam. Bummer! How is everyone else these days. I've been trying to stop in more often, but life is just crazy.
Javalin tore her ACL a couple of weeks ago and is in recovery from surgery. Aric is having issues at school with a class and once he drops it, it may put graduation in jeapordy. Annemarie is deciding where to go, and she seemed set on Dayton, but tonight told me she isn't sure, which of course brought about tears...everything does.
Just a snippet of my life these days. Oh and Andrew and his gf live together. He has blue hair and piercings. smh...I'm hoping it's just a phase.
Yes Patches is a sweetie and we are practicing the crate. We have gone for a few rides in there and now we are practicing just sitting at my feet in it for a while in the house. She seems to be ok with it for short periods anyway. We'' increase the time some each week. I also am debating whether to get her a sedative for the flight. Haven't decided on that one yet but given her shyness for so long even though that is getting better I am thinking the flight might be easier on both of us with one. or half a one etc.
Dana, I hope parents have shown up by now. Of course the parents that need to be there won't show.

I stopped in at Mikes house to offer my condolences and a cuple of cards to the girls and Mike.
Had 60.00 of candy in my truck that I had to unload on Angie that she needed for school needed 800 pcs for three bags 315 315 350 each bag and oh my expensive I told her that it would haunt me I would be able to hear EAT ME EAT ME all night LOL just didn't want it here for temptation Me with no will power at all
So I just meet her up at a gym where Jordyn was going to Halloween Zumba party 530-7 party She said I could take to her house but save miles I would have drove by there to get to their house so just made sense to drop there.
Angie is doing trick or trunk at the school and there are 800 kids at the school, so she will have a piece for each and some left over for teachers I guess
Now need to go hit the shower before my shows come on
GLO I would ask VET regards to the doggie downers LOL LYNNE2 may chime in on them if she reads this Patches is so little probably wouldn't take much maybe a Benadryl
yes Judy I am sure my vet and I will talk about best to do for Patches flight.

Glo, just a thought of humor but maybe you should take a bit of tranquilizer before the plane ride. lol I've been there with kittens. Attendants told the pilot and co-pilot and both (not at the same time, thank goodness) came out to see my then babies. Patches and you will be just fine. Feel it in my heart. Other plane rides with other, older cats I did give a very light sedative.
Lynne2 is likely on target that the very parents who need to attend parents night will not be there. Is anyone surprised by that? Not me!
Dana, hang in there girl. Javalin will heal and soon enough your very own kidlettes will be out and crying on their own time. We're here for you.

Judie Flying is definitely not my thing. I have never added a dog to the flight however. Yep It's gonna be quite the day. We'll get this done though :-)

Went to UIL band contest. I thought Joseph's band did great! They did not win, will not go to state, but they made it to regionals and did well. Proud of the band. He is loving band and that is what is important!

Absolutely gorgeous sight at the Decorah nest this morning. Eagle building crib rail was really fighting with a large stick. Fascinating to watch.
Congratulations to Joseph's band making regional competition.
