Prayer works!Time to put some finishing touches on the house pre-Eileen's visit. Will be lurking nestside and watching for word from JO--though I don't expect results will be revealed immediately.Prayers for all in need!!!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Thanks, too for the scam info, JUDIE. It's hard to stay ahead of the scammers. Too bad they can't put their "creative genius" to work on legal matters. I am now screening all calls via answering machine as the National No-call Registry has become ineffective, unfortunately.
gm everyone. Thanks for new thread and call over. Off to run errands this am. Prayers for MeMa Jo will check back later.
Hi from school! Thanks for the new thread Steve and thanks Judie for the call over.Kids are coming down the hall from their exploratory classes - and now the fun begins! Later!
Thanks for the call over.Judie, glad the wrist is not fractured. Your email did come through...sometimes we can't see the one we sent.
Adult in the nest with the eaglets.
Good morning,Thanks for the new thread, Steve, and for the call-over, Judie. The injury on my shoulder looks like a burn. I had used the curling iron, but I can't imagine I burned myself without knowing it. Haven't checked the nest yet.
I am home and have had my 1st cup of coffee - now I am up/running The scan went very well - I love the technicians that pamper you the whole time and give you those warm blankets ! I will be around anyone today other then my Hubby as I ama radioactive being. lolOnce again my thoughts of all of you got me through this with flying colors. Thanks for being here for me - Going to put up my feet because you know I'm not an Early Bird TTUL
I meant to say that I won'tbe around anyone today - Going tomiss some b-day cake for my 52 yr old son....
Mema Jo They best be saving you a piece of that cake. You can have my piece too :-)
on lunch and find a new threadTHANKS STEVE FOR THE NEW ONE YOU ARE THE BEST YOU keep us connected
JO SO happpy you have a good tech that is great to do your scans with need to go read the other thread

Storm coming in from the westSome lightening and thunderBBL
Hi Jo. I'm confused. Why is today different? You are always so radiant. Does that mean you're radioactive everyday? lol Oh, and you can have my slice of cake, also.Kay, because I do not think my front-load washer cleans as thoroughly as I would like, I do small loads of wash during the week. Also, this time of year, Darth gets very dirty - think boy playing in dirt.Headed across the hall to watch The Chew and put my feet up while waiting on the dryer.BBL
Judie, I am with you regarding washer inefficiency. I am not all that pleased with the cleaning effectiveness of my washer, either. I have to wash items several times to get spots out. I have tried spot remover stuff and am still not happy.
LOOKS LIKE EATING TIME AT THE LAUNCH PAD AREA
Afternoon snack time. I guess I just don't get it how slamming clothes around top-to-bottom can get them as clean as the old agitation process. I'm having to wash more loads and use more stain remover. Hmmmmm? Conspiracy: washing machine manufacturers + water suppliers + manufacturers of detergents, stain removers and softener. lolHave the night off. Darth has a meeting. No scullery duty.
Happy Earth Day all. When I went to grocery today I used my reusable totes instead of plastic. And I pointed out the fact I was using them to all within earshot. I'm sure they thought I was an old crank. I rarely see others use them. Rain and a few snowflakes here today.
HOWDY EAGLENUBS home from work BBIALW
Vet just called and the makers of Nexguard are paying for all of her care, so Animal Hospital will re emburse me for Sat and the vet is going to go ahead and order 18 more days of supportive treatment she has been on since Saturday, add a liver supplement and will also do the repeat blood draw in a month all on their bill, not mine. So financially I guess we are on a good road and sounds like Vet is totally able and willing to health wise do everything she can to get Patches through this as easy as possible.Patches is overall doing ok. Not great but so very much better than over the weekend.

LIL is eating but not as much as BIG
Belle is tearing something up Kids are watching now
BIG had nice PS and now is in middle and Belle is tearing up something and LIL is watching and sneaking in a bite I think hard to tell but Big is content to pick at flugg at the tail of LIL
The fur is flying
SHEP has arrived
I am really needing Belle and Shep to start fishing again. Way too much fur flying. Not sure what the last 2 meal deliveries were but neither one were fish. EEK!
adult eating at 12 only see beak and food kids are happy and content to watch one is snoozing its Big
SHAR I agree but we just don't eat fish we need a variety and I guess they do to
LIL is picking on something drug it
he has drug it down from the adult to cute What is it??
One of the eaglets just drug the "supper" over to it closer.
I think I saw yellow webbed feet maybe? Not sure.
I can't believe he dragged it down from the adult but now is facing the opposite way
Pretty brazen of the lil one LOL
Hard to see where the eaglets end and the supper begins. Blending right in there together.
I think the adult poofed I see no talons which they would move so I could get a good snip of mystery meat there
LYDIA thinks its part of a ribbit I posted pic on the momster page
I don't think it is a rabbit. It had what looked like a longer tail when it first arrived.
I hate when my sick head keeps trying to figure out the vermin in the nest. Drives me crazy.
I am off to choir practice. Patches is actually starting to play. Hopefully Belle and Shep are going fishing
BIG shake on CAM
SHAR do you consider yourself a sick puppies Well you are among friends
Need to cook dinner but thought I would stick my nose in here first. Busy day...worked in the prayer garden at church and then came home and did some Lollypaloozing! After that headed to the grosssssserie store. Expecting Sister Sharon and BIL Dan tomorrow afternoon. Yea! They will be at the RV park across the highway for the weekend. Dan is on an alumni committee at TCU.Jubby thinks he is starving, better get busy!
Headed to the scullery to find a snack for myself. Get hungry when I watch the eaglets eating.JudyE, the original Body Farm is located in Alabama. Been there for years. Has been a huge help in providing forensic information on crime victims. Interesting because the weather conditions/insects in a different part of the country will add much.BBL
Glo, very good news that the company will cover expenses. What good news that Patches is improving.
Eagle came in and is feeding chicks for a bit now what ever the mystery meat was is now at 11 new food was brought in I don't know what was on rocker watching on laptop and now on desktop Don't like typing on tablet

Good Morning, very early morning, Eagle Buds!!!Fell asleep too early in the recliner last night and excited about Eileen's visit, so up and at em' too early.Wow, I lived lo these many years without knowing about Body Farms. Guess if one donates the ol' bod to science one might land in one of them--♫♪ Give me land, lots of land under starry skies above. Good start to a new day. I will head to vets to pick up the meds Patches will take for the remainder of the month. Wind has stopped here finally and birdbath is skimmed over with ice. Need a tad more spring soon :-) Have a good day everyone.
Gee, the nest sure needs a good spring cleaning down by 3 - 5 o'clock. Too many pieces of unknown leftovers! And it looks like Belle snuggling in with the kids, who seem wiggly. Or at least one seems like it! It is amazing how big they have grown and how they are maturing with a few feathers! Weather looks better today too. Wishing for a sunny day for all!
Good morning,Adult and two eaglets in the nest. Two youngsters are cuddled together. It is a brisk morning here, and I am sure the same is true at the nest.
Not freezing here. Temps in the 40's. I turned on the furnace for a bit. Even Hunter remarked that it was cold in the family room this morning.
Good morning.Slept in a little this morning and woke to bright sunshine and a lovely blue sky.Eaglets and adult in the nest also enjoying some sunshine.Checked on Big Red at Cornell and it is windy and snowing there. BrrrrrKay, do what you can and then just enjoy your time with Eileen. She's the priority.Headed across the hall to the t.v. Such a strange coincidence. Having an injured wrist seems to require putting my feet up to ease the discomfort. Crazy huh?BBL
Heard some eagle calls. Two eaglets flopped in the nest. Things look pretty calm. Not sure how much I want to know about body farms. Yikes!
Enjoy your rest, Judie.
Good morning to all ♥Kay - enjoy your company - good to straighten up the house for that reason. Family time is so rewarding!Judie - hoping the 'feets up' will do the trick in making your wrist feel better. Maybe the wrists' bones are connected to the feets' bones!Barbara I agree that spring housecleaning at the nest needs to be done.Lynne - good on you for promoting Earth Day where it should have done some good. Judy and Paula - thanks for yesterday's reporting on the eagles' activity.Glo - thinking of you and hoping Patches will get better and back to herself day by day. She is such a sweetheart.Shirley - hope your shoulder is better - Like Kay said - sometimes we just don't find out the cause. Perhaps you just need some pure relaxation time. Sandi - Love your avatar picture - she looks so precious. She resembles the Roberts !
It appears they like to hang out with their dead friend. Pretty sure it is a duck or water fowl of some sore. I see webbed feet and and a yellow bill I think. Parent just arrived in the nest calling hard. Wind is still whipping!
Good Morning Its a raining EAGLE landed and calling out
I am feeling rested this morning.I told a friends that I was getting to be Old Hat at these scans. I now need to help NCTC Friends with their Fund Raiser for Cam equipment. I want to be told if there is a deadline for this and just what is being purchased ! Hope I can get the answers. We are still at 53% with $2660.00. Thanks to all of you who have given already ♥
OH MY no gutter or downspout I have a water fall on my house LOL
HEY Maybe they thing the dead this is a new companion and that is why they are sleeping with it Not eating it I saw no one feed from it yesterday
Nest them is 49° IN RED A FREEZE WATCH IS in affect till Frid morning OH MY
one eaglet is dragging th duck now
yep I think a duck also see long neck and yellows
BIG was taking on mystery meat and gave up Mom is just in middle of nest swaying in the breeze and lil is still down
Maybe it is a stuffed animal, like the osprey used to get.
REMEMBER one time a bear was in a nest I think it was blue years ago It does look like a stuffed one look at it now but still hard to tell NCTC what is it LOL Inquiring minds want to know ODC
The yellow feet were flapping in the breeze a while ago. And I would think a dead duck would be too heavy for the eagle to move with ease.
stuffed bear forgot to add the stuffed part don't want anyone to think a real bear LOL
I agree SHAR looks light weight for our little ones the size of chickens now I think and there is the houses near so it could be something they found on the ground I wish we had a zoom on it and a camera operator to zoom to see it LOL I know wish in one had and s--t in the other and see which fill faster my mom would say LOL I can dream though
BIG stretched his wing out at 1127 and covered up LIL and its is still in that position AWW keeping LIL warm in the 48° what a good sibling
Happy Birthday to an Original Momster - Anne Marie ! I think of you often and thankful I can see you on FB. Enjoy your special day
WELL we had super hard rain and NOPE didn't really tell any difference with the metal roof compared to the shingle roof Noise factor not there like everyone at work keep saying
Now it really looks like a duck and stuffed duke a dogs toy duck you can see the wings and two yellow web feet
the web yellow is blowing in the wind OH is someone recording this
BIG is watching the foot blowing and moving
Even though the view of the "intruder Duck" ????? is good we are still guessing - lolAt least we know it sure lookds like a duck - whether it is a 'dummie duck' or a one time alive duck - who knows. Didn't some one see an adult defurring or defeathering it when it cam into the nest.
the dufuring was in the bottomw of the nest when this was brought in they just stood with it at 11 for a bit
I POSTED the pic of the duck on Steve FB page and I mentioned we thought a toy of sort and this is is answer """ look like waterfowl (duck) of some sort...will ask around.Just now · Like
I was watching yesterday when it was brought in. I really couldn't tell what it was but I know the head and neck were sticking straight out like they are now. If it were a real duck, but dead by then, the neck would have been limber. I love investigative reporting. :)
And I think it would have been eaten by now or at least partially.
Headin to lunch with Angie rain or not Keep a eye on our nest and the new adopted pet
I think if this object was once alive it would be more decomposed by now.
I hope someone gives Steve a good answer... I agree it looks likewaterfowl - ??????????????
Eagle calls. But things look pretty calm. Maybe a request for fresh fish is being sent out.
BOY I posted the picture of the FB eagle pages I am on and I have gotten 100s of likes and lots lots of comments and lots of peep asking for cam link (55) so far or there abouts Just got back from lunch with Angie We got over 2 inches of rain so far today
Angie just called Carl just got called on a call and I need to go get Jordyn and take her home to do homework and get ready for gym Lator gators hold down the fort I know you all will
Looking at the prey item..Can see yellow feet on it. Have never seen anything so light colored.
Paula, those yellow feet flap in the wind too. They may prove me wrong, but I am pretty sure it is a toy. The eaglets can move it easily and nobody has been eating it yet. Remember the blue teddy bear in the osprey nest? :)
My impression is a stuffed duck?I'm sure some of you remember the blue teddy bear in the osprey nest at Milford Point, CT. He blew away in a hurricane!
Too soft and furry looking for a duck :)
oH YEAh...if it was real it would have started to be consumed by now.
It's their cuddle-duck. :)
Great minds Paula! :)
So I checked out Deb's video from last night...one of the adults picked up the "duck" and attempted one bite...looks like it has a hole in it and stuffings are coming out. Looks like more than one attempt to de-fur it...then adult gives up and moves to the 5 spot to check out the nestovers.
Didn't quite have the innerds the parents were looking for.
I hadn't looked at that video Paula. You know they were wondering WTH?
LOL, bet they were, Sharon :)
I looked at it thinking maybe she had captured when it came in. I didn't look at the cam after I left work last night.
I remember when we used to summon Columbo to the nest site or was it the Blog, back when some sort of strange folks stopped by. No strange folks anymore I guess :-) I vote stuffed duck. It's time to go fishing Patches got her first dose of the liver supplement about an hour ago now. She does seem to feel better each day.
Homework done easy Read and 3 questions
Too funny about the "dead duck"! Will be interesting to see what happens to said object!Yard it mowed, house is clean, cake is baked. Bring on the company! Think I will go do a little dinner prep!Did I mention we have termites? Yuck! We get a treatment tomorrow. They will be here about four hours. Lovely, just lovely.
I saw when it came in and did lots of speculation of what it could be. I know the head/neck looked mighty stiff when it came in. That happens when they are pre-stuffed I guess. LOL!
Biggest eaglet picking at lucky duck
They like the feets.
I am amused to say the least at our oldest eaglet trying to investigate the Lucky Ducky !
Bickering little turds. I think maybe Shep stopped by Walmart to pick up some training material for the eaglets. One was giving it the old college try a minute ago.
It could have been a toy that was dropped by one of the Day Care Kids.
Heading home. catch ya'll later
Bit of excitement here!! I was in the kitchen and my sister, Sharon, called. I was talking with her when I spied a SNAKE on the floor here in the den!!!! Jack was close, thank goodness, and he got the snake with a bucket and a cookie sheet! Lol. Not sure what kind of a snake, we tried to identify it. But, did not like the looks of the shape of its head. Jack is hauling it off to release it. He could not bring himself to kill it. Not a big snake, BUT a snake! Shudder!
Have been studying the book. I think it was a copperhead!
LOLLY. A copperhead in your house!,, shudder
They have something for real this time, plucking it.
I think it is time for you to move, Lolly.
Lol. Not moving! Skippi is just going to shave to earn her keep and board!
Going to do an early closingJust a bit tired Goodnight my friends ♥
But no one in nest to call
LIL has in feathers nowvtoo
Good Evening Eagle Buds. Just got home from Outback where I got my 2nd promised B'Day dinner. Lobster, of course & some for tomorrow's lunch. My first look at nest seemed like garbage had fallen from the sky! The yellow looking "neck" on left looked like an aerosol can coming out of a sack! Now I can see footies--must be a stuffed animal!I loved that teddy bear in the eagle's nest a few years ago. Was one of the Hancock group I believe.I can't remember seeing such large wings on Eaglets. Maybe when they grow up they'll work for Boeing! Our wild animal skills here are non existent. Have not been able to catch kitty who should be having Amoxicillin and then Neosporin on her neck. She keeps scratching & it's making me nuttier that I can't help. I'll have to ask vet if we can trap her again and if she can handle more shots. We've never had to deal w/anything like this before. Thank goodness all the outside female cats we know (but 1) have been fixed! For the important group~~~Prayers that Jo's tests will be A+, Shirley's shoulder gets better, Judie's wrist heals ASAP, Larry is ALL OK, & so glad Shar is up and at 'em!Went to my new GP today. The best in the world that I had for 30+ years retired. ;>( When I told him my list of body parts that are sometimes painful or don't want to work, he said our muscles get weaker as we get older (DUH!) and the joints have to bear more of the physical load, so it's usually arthritis, etc.--Ibuprofin or Aleve, or if you get really bad see an orthopedist. Gee, that was enlightening! ☺ At least some back pain now and then is not sciatica! Hooray. And that's enough about that!Have a great evening~~if I don't get back, SED!;>)
Goodorming my eagle friends - TGIF!! 35 days and counting!Saw my first hummingbirds at the feeders :)!!New appliances arrive today - green garland will be whisking away the old!Prayers for all, especially for Jo!Have agreat day!
knock knock knock...Good Friday Morning Every Body...Brand New Thread is Upon Us.....Hope this is a super good, stellar and celestial day and week-end for AlLxo ♥ ☺
