Back from my walk. I went walking in my heavy winter jacket and was about to take it off before I got back. Didn't need that today; not with a sweatshirt underneath and a turtleneck. Looks like the eagle was up and turned around. All still looks pretty quiet.
JudyE So good to see you off work for the day and back on here.
I never had to get a passport as I've only been to Canada, Bermuda and Hawaii in my younger married days. Now we go no place. I live on everyone else's pics they send back.
Three of my four children have or have had passports. I helped the two oldest ones get theirs way back when they were teenagers. I do have an idea how it's done.
I have seen a fair number of states here in the USA. I think it is interesting that Val is ready to go to any one of about half a dozen places.
Connie and I are on a passport with my mom funny picture of her and we are one each side of her When we went to Germany we went to Germany when I was young I guess Connie has the passport still
Both eagles back in nest. No dinner yet. Both just looking around. One eagle off and three eggs showing. That eagle up and off and other eagle does egg roll and wiggle wiggle and is on the eggs.
Shirley, I keep wondering if they keep taking the wet or damp flugg away from the eggs to give them a dry spot. I don't know what I am talking about, but it is a thought.
I have been sitting here watching a very restless eagle moving those 3 eggs all over the place and, for the life of me, I can't figure out what's going on with them! Grrr!!
Funny story about the wind blowing at the nest. (I know I've told it before.) One day at school, we kept hearing a odd noise. Neither the students nor I could figure out what it was. Finally I realized I had the nest on in the background, and we were hearing the wind blowing at the Sycamore Palace.
I want to run up to JoAnns I got a 60% off one item there and I want to get my expensive styrofoam cones for my Christmas trees I crochet each year and then after the 22 the coupon is for 50% off the couplons says 20-22 and the other is 22-28 so are they both good on the 22 I don't want to risk it and you can only use one per transaction so I will go today just in case almost sound like rain at the nest on the cam
I think you are both cracking under the strain of maternity watch. It sounds like something above is chewing on a stick or something. I just thought that maybe the other eagle was above the nest keeping a look out. LOL :) Too silly!
Shep might be up there, but I cannot imagine he is chewing on a stick. But who knows, maybe that is what male eagles do when they are waiting for the eggs to hatch. He certainly does get antsy.
Shirley, that is so cute about you forgetting you left the computer on on our eagles in the classroom. I can see you looking around wondering what the noise was.
Most of my students enjoyed watching the eagles. I do remember one kid who wanted me to explain why we were watching an eagle in English class. My usual answer was that it was okay because we were speaking English after all. Some teenagers will do anything to get your goat. Always had to keep that in mind.
I thought it was interesting that some of them thought the adult eagles were babies because they looked so small in comparison to the nest. That was a good opportunity to explain how large the nest is.
Hearing that chirp to me tells me an eaglet has broken through the inner membrane. I think we will see a hatch by tomorrow night at this time and perhaps much earlier in the day the way she has been acting this afternoon.
Heard a "thunk" here. I think a bird just hit the window. Didn't see any birds lying on the ground. I expect there is a bird with a headache somewhere out there.
We atleast have internal pip, is where they get their beak into the air cell. Nothing visible on the outside, though often the chick's chirping can be heard at this point.
and we might have dirty eggshell or external pip :-)
Oh she has? I didn't know we would be able to hear it on our speakers. Aha. Then maybe Glo and you did hear chirping from the eggs. All I can hear is the wind blowing and that crunching sound or whatever it is.
Can just see the white head now. We will have to wait until tomorrow. Too bad we don't have night vision, but we do have an excellent view of the nest this year.

Goodorming my eagle friends. I see one eagle in the nest. No sign of an egg shell. I hear the wind and whatever that clicking sound was that Candy and Shirley were hearing yesterday - maybe a branch hitting the cam housing?
The nest looks pretty with the morning sun hitting it. Egg #2 was laid on 2/15 so today would be day 35 for it. Once egg #2 was laid, Belle & Shep started incubating full time, so maybe #1 AND #2 will hatch together, which would be good for #3. Surely something will happen soon!!
Good morning JudyE and Sandi and all eagle friends out there. I didn't hear either of you shout out pip or bobblehead, so I am guessing that we are still in the wait stage. Headed off to church now. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and we have a hatch. :)
Goodorming more eagle friends. I see a fish delivery has occurred - a good sign!! And Debi & Terri posted a photo on the Eagle Cam page from an egg roll that shows what looks a lot like a hole in one of the eggs. Fingers crossed!
It is a sunny Sunday today - but I'm reading back over your comments to learn that the egg cup is still holding 3 in tact eggs. Hoping for some action today!
Just getting my cup of coffee... I'll be back shortly.........
Egg roll, but Belle (?) was really quick about it so, by the time I went to full screen, she was settling back down on the eggs. Couldn't see anything definite.
Sandi that is a great picture - Eagle cam has posted an identical capture - sure looks like a start and of course hoping it isn't a piece of nest material
Good morning! Have been watching the cam. It looks very promising for at least one eaglet,
Jack and I enjoyed the Dallas Opera last night simulcast on the huge HD screen at ATT stadium (Cowboys). We saw La Boheme. It was great!
We are heading out Tuesday. Going to east Texas. Going ti Marshall, Jefferson, and Caddo State Park. Google Caddo SP and see the pictures. We have never been there. It is beautiful! We look forward to some days of relaxation and new activities. Taking Miss Skippita with us. We need this!
Back from mass and breakfast out and see a lot of talking going on here. Restless eagle, someone saw a pip maybe, in and out of nest, Lolly heading out again sightseeing, and breakfast was served. AND everyone is going to have a dirty house as they are all watching in the waiting room watching for a little bobblehead to appear. Sounds like it is going to be a great day! Fingers crossed.
Eagle is up and down, up and down and up again and really digging into the egg cup. Her back is to the camera, so can't see a thing, at this point. She s digging there again.
I made a short video, but it is very hard to see any movement in it. Sorry, but I just couldn't keep watching through the screen of my cell phone when I wanted to look directly at the computer screen. Need to try again.
Terri has a video on the Eagle Cam page of the parent exchange. Not sure if the little guy/gal is even completely out of the shell yet, but I could see those little black eyes! YAY!
Glo, I thought that I saw the other eagle that just left remove some small pieces of white shell when she kept digging in the egg cup a little earlier.
Lolly, when I look at my 3 dirty bathrooms and the dust bunnies rolling across the bedroom floor, I will remind myself that at least I got an Eagle Eye award today! :)
That video that was on utube was perfect. When the other parent flew in, after the first one flew out, then the bobblehead really made his bobble debut. :)
I am so thankful most of you were watching and captured and enjoyed being involved in this hatching. There are 2 more to go! At times like this we know that Nature does create miracles. ♥
What an awesome day. Watched 16 baby ducks jump from their nesting box before church and got home in time to watch Belle and Shep hatch their first eaglet of 2015. I am feeling blessed.
Well Sandi, at least you got to see this one. I was a Kinder assistant and had our computers turned on to the eagles during the season so they could experience it. I retired in July 1 and have enjoyed being able to watch this nest whenever I want to. Do you not have computers in your room. I know it won't be as good as the projected ones, but you'd have something.
Shirley, I wish it was as easy as borrowing a Smartboard! No one is using the one in my old classroom now that it has been turned into a computer lab. But moving it would require a lot of brute strength and power tools (the board probably weighs close to 100 lb and would have to be mounted on a wall), and the projector would have to be mounted in the ceiling of my tiny room. Then, all of the equipment would have to be connected to my computer and I'm not THAT tech savvy!
I heard lots of chirping awhile ago. I wonder if it was a new fish request? I pasted video link, but it didn't work. Keep watching to get a capture! And gotta write my Aunt!
Candy, I have a desktop computer in my little room as well as three 15-inch laptops. I had the live cam up and running last Thursday and Friday in anticipation of a hatch, so the kids have already asked me about the nest. We can crowd around the little computer screens, it's just not the same as seeing the nest projected on a 4' X 6' screen.
Belle is back with a stick. We should have another switch.
What a shame, Sandi. I don't know a lot about Smartboards, but I think they were on wheels at my school. I used technology, but never did use a Smartboard.
Sandi, I was only an assistant, and I didn't know if I would be pushing my teacher too much if I asked her to put it up on the big screen. I only worked with this teacher about my last 3 years.
Well...I see I missed the hatching. Congrats to Candy and Sandi. It's funny...I was going to post I was going out for a while and expected news when I got back. But I see it was never posted. Just started watching Cam and saw a napping eagle but awake now.
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! I missed it because I was taking in 2 cockers in the kennel AND because my live feed doesn't stay up for more than a few seconds. Will have to watch at work!
Oh, phooey! Did I miss the hatching? Has anyone seen the bobblehead yet?
We have been ridiculously busy, and the house is still not back the way it should be. Not sure whether we are going to put the collector plates up on the walls or not. I want to put at least some of them, and Ken wants to get rid of them all! We haven't hung any pictures or paintings yet, either.
Hoping that those with colds are doing better by now.
Need to go work on Emma. She has some knots in her fur that must be gone. She needs a bath, but the knots and tangles must be gone first. She is trying to avoid me, so may need to sneak up on her.
Will check back in later to see if anyone has been able to get a picture of the baby! Congratulations to Belle & Shep! HAGD, everyone! I ♥ us!!!
Don't know who is in the nest but they are tucked in a long day I guess for them and us LOL
I was wondering the same about the first egg this just may be or not be the first egg we will see in about what 5 days or so lets hope doesn't drag on like this one did
need to find and look at the video I saw it was on FB and QUESTION why are they calling the eaglet B% Belle has had more that 5 eaglets and that is usually what the # means or maybe it is suppose to be with Shep ??? Just curious saw the title while I was at work still I wanted to find out I logged on before I left a McD LOL Anxious grand mother I suppose
That color will go with so many other color for the house color I think Right now my house is tan of sort I think the color was dirt road To me it has a pinkish hue over the years of fading Well dirt can be clay and maybe that is what the pinkish is LOL

JudyE She has been digging down deep all afternoon and seemed unsettled. Then she settled down before I left for the walk. She just seemed antsy.
She just raised up, rolled eggs and without letting us see, she wiggled back down again. :(
Here is a video of the celltower eagle wingersizing and hovering over the tower and also a video of flyout of both eagle at Freedom park the other day

Egg roll. Saw three eggs. Really hard to tell anything else. They all had grass stuck to them or maybe they are all hatching. Interesting.
Boy they just won't let you see the eggs.

Yes, Sandi. Yet another egg roll.
She just can't seem to get things quite right. Restless and so are we. We'll probably wake up to a shell in the am.
Tipping her head. Maybe she is listening.
Are your children calling you, Belle?
I've gotten snips of eggs and on FB the momsters page so hard to tell but I did get three views of this last roll
Doesn't it sound like maybe the other eagle is above the nest chewing on a stick or something?
Oh, I need to turn up the volume. I am not hearing that.
is she tucking in
nope just a itch maybe
Now I hear something. Not sure what it is.
the wind has died down and I hear nothing
I thought I heard a tapping or crackling of sort
I put my speaker to my ear and I hear a peep peep no kidding try it let me know
i hear a bird in the back ground also
bad idea big gust of wind just went in speaker oh my ear
Judy, I hear my computer fan blowing.
I did hear whatever that is in the background.

almost sound like rain at the nest on the cam
Geese.
Sometimes you can see the geese fly below the nest.
I think you are both cracking under the strain of maternity watch. It sounds like something above is chewing on a stick or something. I just thought that maybe the other eagle was above the nest keeping a look out. LOL :)
Too silly!
checked the weather NOt rain just noise on cam I guess Belle is sure itchy looking down again
It does sound like rain, Judy. But that is not what it is, thank goodness.
Just remember IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE LOL
Shep might be up there, but I cannot imagine he is chewing on a stick. But who knows, maybe that is what male eagles do when they are waiting for the eggs to hatch. He certainly does get antsy.
looking down or listening again

I wonder if the sound we hear is something blowing in the wind.
I heard some chirps just then, and Belle looked up.
Egg roll.
I thought I saw something move must me eyes
7:39 eggroll I hear chirps.
Shirley, that is probably what it is. Maybe branches rubbing together or something like that.
Hearing that chirp to me tells me an eaglet has broken through the inner membrane. I think we will see a hatch by tomorrow night at this time and perhaps much earlier in the day the way she has been acting this afternoon.

Glo, I hope you are right. We are all going batty waiting.
Oh, Candy, you can hear chirps from inside the eggs. Ask Dana. She has heard chirps from inside her duck eggs.
We atleast have
internal pip, is where they get their beak into the air cell. Nothing visible on the outside, though often the chick's chirping can be heard at this point.

I sure learned something today. Thanks all
I have been hearing chirps I guess we will find out tomorrow Keeping cam up in case of chirping after hatch
Well the darkness is setting in on our nest. Now you will all have me getting up in the middle of the night to see if I hear any chirps. :)

the chirp in that link is loud Shirley
I know I was hearing chirps we will have a newbee in the am I will not be able to see in the am to dark when I go to work but I will listen
I heard the chirp at 124 on Terry video and after I turned down my cam and can hear it to the end on and off Great job TERRI

Good morning. It's a little chilly but the sun is out! I will take whatever I can get.
Just saw switch. Looked like 3 eggs in.
Good morning.
Well, here we all are sitting in our respective waiting rooms anticipating the arrival of an eggbert. Sigh!
Not much on the agenda today. Just going to settle in and relax.
Wishing everyone a terrific day.

good morning everyone. I sense an especially blessed Sunday.
Jo, the pic I posted on the FB blog IS the one from the Eagle Cam page - it has Debi's & Terri's names included.
I'm with Glo, thinking that today will be the day! My upstairs may or may not get cleaned. I may or may not get out of my pjs!
Goodness, restless eagle this morning.
That picture is definitely interesting, Sandi.
I gave credit on FB to Terri-Debi for the great pic. Yes, there is a restless eagle on the eggs. I think
there must be something going on down-under!
Must tickle when a little beak is poking out of an egg that is snuggled up to your bare skin.
Where is the pic on OC, Jo?
I think our eagle is getting tired.
Keeps looking up. I think our other eagle is up there.
Both eagles in the nest. Interesting that Belle isn't touching the fish - a good sign that it's being saved for later. :)
Both in - one flew out -
what an egg roll ..... WOW!

Up again digging into the cup. Almost was able to see eggs, but not quite.
Heard more peeps that time and strange flopped over egg/shell plopped quickly in front as Belle layed back down again.
eggroll She sure doesn't give us long looks. I can't tell if its pixelating or a piece of eggshell in that pile under her
eggroll She sure doesn't give us long looks. I can't tell if its pixelating or a piece of eggshell in that pile under her
OMG - I just want to lift that eagle up and get one good look at what's under her! She will not let me see ANYTHING!
Glo, doesn't look like a broken egg shell in the front? I thought that it looked earlier that she was picking pieces of eggs out of cup
Shep arrives! Maybe ...
Now maybe we'll get a good look if there is a change in the nest.
Holding my breath here.
Shep doesn't seem to have a fish.
Bobblehead!!!!!
Holy cannoli - I see something moving in that egg cup! That isn't an egg - it's an eaglet baby!
Hooray! A baby!
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a baby eagle!!!!!
Not sure if its totally out of the shell or not BUT I think we have a hatch in progress
Something was moving in there. Did anyone else see it. OR was it just wind blowing a shadow of grass over egg?
I made a short video, but it is very hard to see any movement in it. Sorry, but I just couldn't keep watching through the screen of my cell phone when I wanted to look directly at the computer screen. Need to try again.
There was something moving there!
yes lots of movement. More than just flug
Yes, there was movement.
Now, we want to see a feeding.
I announced it on FB so manybe Jo will see it and come on over. :)
I want to see her remove some of the shell. That feeding is gonna be a while down the road.
Terri has a video on the Eagle Cam page of the parent exchange. Not sure if the little guy/gal is even completely out of the shell yet, but I could see those little black eyes! YAY!

Sandi, now you will never get your house cleaned as you will want to watch the eaglets!
What an awesome day. Watched 16 baby ducks jump from their nesting box before church and got home in time to watch Belle and Shep hatch their first eaglet of 2015. I am feeling blessed.
I think I hear the eagle announcing the baby's birth to the world!
Candy, now is when I will really miss having a Smartboard at school to show my 8th graders the babies!
Jo, have you emailed Steve or messaged him on Facebook? I don't want to bombard him with messages.
Oh dear, both eagles calling out! One in the nest and the other nearby.
Eagle calls? I am not hearing anything.
Shirley, turn your speaker up.
Can't you borrow a Smartboard, Sandi?
Okay, now I am hearing sounds at the nest. Don't know why I could not hear the calls, but I could definitely see that calling was taking place.
Will do Sandi - notifying Steve and NCTC
I turned it up, but I don't believe that was the problem. Don't know what happened. Now I hear the wind blowing.
OK Shirley, glad you can hear the wind blowing again.
The happy parents are together in the nest now. :)
What a shame, Sandi. I don't know a lot about Smartboards, but I think they were on wheels at my school. I used technology, but never did use a Smartboard.
Fly-in. Both in nest.
And poof.
Sandi, I was only an assistant, and I didn't know if I would be pushing my teacher too much if I asked her to put it up on the big screen. I only worked with this teacher about my last 3 years.
I connected a projector to my computer and projected images on a screen, but it wasn't a smartboard.
Nope, Belle just took off again. I guess she figured she had done enough egg/baby sitting for a while.
I guess Shep is napping to get ready for those middle of the night feedings? :)
Time out for my daily walk while everyone is asleep. BB
Hearing that crunching sound again.
Lynne2, I had the same problem until I used Google Chrome. I was able to watch all day with only a couple of refreshes.
Egg roll.
Egg roll n
Nothing seen
Hi, Gang,
Just curious saw the title while I was at work still I wanted to find out I logged on before I left a McD LOL
Anxious grand mother I suppose
I am getting my roof done the first part of April and I have chosen a metal roof over shingles
and I have chosen Terra Cotta as the color One of the house right down the street same block has that color and its so pretty
Almost ready for 400 count and a split.
Steve has seen on FB the video and pics of the first hatch. He is very pleased with that!
That color will go with so many other color for the house color I think Right now my house is tan of sort I think the color was dirt road To me it has a pinkish hue over the years of fading Well dirt can be clay and maybe that is what the pinkish is LOL
grabbing at straws LOL
