Thank you Steve for the fresh new thread......

The active eagle cams are popping up especially all over FL.

Ask everyone to read previous thread from this morning

Good Morning Eagle Buds !!!

Haven't fully caught up with the old thread posts, but enough to know Mega-prayers are needed for the ROBERTS clan. Condolences to Lynnis as her family mourns their sad loss. Special thoughts go out to Meridith and her precious little one.

Saying additional prayers for JUDIE and JO as they seek answers and treatment for arteries, hearts and "damn spots"!

So happy to see that LORI and Kate will be at the Momster's gathering later this month!

This is a banking day as I see my adviser and work some details out---not my favorite activity, but it must be done. I'll drop by Kroger to leave a few bucks off, too. Can't seem to drive away from my place without including a stop there!☺

LOLLY, you did the Smiley Face thing up brown or, uh, I mean black! Cute!

Love and prayers for all in need! Heading for the candles as I need to light some more for you dears!

Prayers SANDI for mother and child.
It must be very hard for BRIAN to not be with his family at this time.

Good that LORI / KATE will attend the gathering.
SHAR thank you for trying to phone NORMA. A reminder to phone again.

Love and Light to all.
JO JUDIE prayers and keep us posted.

Lolly said...

Good morning!

When on my ipad I can do the smiley faces. On my laptop now!

Prayers Sandi, for the baby and for your DIL's family.

Judie....Jack was wondering if Evil Jufie digs holes?

Wow, so excited that Lori is going to make it the 18th. What a great group to be there. So sad for those of us who live too far!

Need to run some errands today. Being so slow moving! Ha! But, that is how I like my mornings!

Thank you for the new thread Steve and Kay, you are closing in on Jo for a full headdress!

Positive energy for the early newborn and also
Judie and Jo as they await answers from the doctors.

Sympathy of course to
Lynnis and het family for their loss.

Good afternoon,

New washer is here. They said it should run empty the first time, and they set it to do that. It is now making sloshing sounds.

Luna has busied herself checking out the places they went to make the delivery. She was not happy that I confined her to the dining room while they were here. She thought that her help was needed with the installation.

grannyblt said...

Good luck with the new washer Shirley. I wish my installers had told me to run it empty the first time. They hooked the water up incorrectly--hot to cold. There I was trying to figure out what I had done wrong and scrambling to figure out the error codes.

Hi from school. Thanks for all the prayers for brand new to the world Olivia Katherine! Her breathing is OK and her color is good - swallowing will be checked some time today. Meredith is doing fine and has been able to hold Olivia. Mere will stay in the hospital til Saturday and baby will be staying in NICU for a bit since she arrived so early.

Have not heard anything from Lynnis since a post this morning on Facebook. Lynnis's grandmother was a gracious, sweet, lovely lady and she will be missed by many. I know it must be hard for Brian not being with Lynnis at this time. Not sure that he will be able to cut his trip short and return for the funeral - I rather doubt he will. Denny and I are waiting to hear the arrangements but will be going to Accokeek (in Prince Georges County, MD) for the funeral, whenever it is.

Shirley, happy that you have your new machine - front load or top load???

Jo, like Hoda asked, why more chemo if you don't mind us asking?

Will try to check in from home this evening. Later!

Mema Jo said...

Hoda & Sandi - MORE CHEMO?

I have small cell cancer and it is known to SPREAD rapidly. Radiation
may not start for another 2 weeks so
precautions are being taken.

Now you know the rest of the story.
Thanks for asking.... ♥

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

I LOVE YOU JO!

Mema Jo said...

I am so joyful that our prayers for Meredith and Olivia Katherine have been answered. I'm sure there is a reason as to why she decided to come
early.
Prayers for Lynnis and her family
to find peace with their loss.
Losing a grandmother is a hard thing
to go through.

Judie said...

Good late afternoon.

Lolly, Jufie only digs holes when there is no shotgun around. lol

Promising news for Olivia Katherine. Prayers continue for the entire family.

Thank you Jo for the update. Seems the best to take precautions.

Shirley, have fun with the new washer. May all your clothes come sparkling clean.

Very happy to see that Lori and Kate will join the momsters. Never met either one in person so something to look forward to.

Well, 17+ hours without food is not fun. Vascular tests are very good considering the severity of disease. Blood work result must wait until I see the cardiologist on the 7th. Never had to wait so long for a blood draw - they were busy - and since I had to fast for the morning it seemed reasonable to not eat for a fasting lipid test, etc. So, long day and now tired and very hungry. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Going to put my feet up and contemplate dinner inspiration.

Oh, my apology. Forgot my manners.

Thank you Steve for the fresh thread and to Kay on yet another feather for her eagle hat.

Top loader, Sandi. I can see right now that I may need something to stand on in the laundry room. I can barely reach to the bottom of the machine, and Kathryn is a bit shorter than I am.

Just finished the first load and put in the second. I did have to resort to the instruction manual before I could even start the thing. Supposedly, if it has problems, I can use my cell phone to send signals to the people at the washer place so they can diagnose what is wrong.

stronghunter said...

Still need to read back.

Thanks for the new thread, Steve, and for the call-over, Kay.

Hopes and prayers for the chemo to do its work, Jo.

stronghunter said...

And hopes that the chemo's work is done quickly, too.

stronghunter said...

Not seeing any hummingbirds. Maybe they are headed south.

stronghunter said...

Hoping that all reports are good, Judie. I am supposed to have some blood work done before my next doctor's visit. Just routine stuff. I hope I do not have to fast for 17 hours.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,

Sandi, my heartfelt condolences to the whole family for the loss of Lynnis' grandmother. Prayers for Meredith and Olivia Katherine! A word of encouragement--I was born nearly 2 months early in 1945, weighing only 4 lb. 6 oz., and I'm fine!
I even had some problems with my formula and lost weight, down to 3 lb. 4 oz.!
God bless the new mom and baby!

Great to see Red here! Belated Happy Birthday wishes!

Shirley, wishing you all the best with your new washer! I have a bit of a reach to get to the bottom of the drum too, but don't quite need a step stool.
Of course, you know I'm kidding when I say this, but since all my wash comes out SO clean, I've wondered what would happen if I put Emma in there on a "delicates" cycle, with a "low" spin speed.LOL! There's plenty of room in there.
Think I'll stick to the bathtub, though.

Prayers ongoing for Jo, Judie, Larry, Jack, and everyone else on the prayer list. Hope everyone has as good a day as possible.
Will hopefully be back tonight to check back in. I ♥ us!!

Such great news today.

Shirley has a washing machine and our royal couple made a nest visit and JudyE got pics. Terrific October 1st.

Have asked the Sandperson to make sure departure is on time and everyone gets a visit. My feet are going up and I suspect my eyelids will be going down.

Restful sleep for all. See you tomorrow.

I will soon be heading upstairs to my bed.

I did three loads of laundry today. There is a pile of folded clothes on the coffee table. Mostly stuff for Kathryn and Hunter. I will let them take their own things upstairs. I don't mind folding because that just involves sitting on the sofa, but carrying loads of clothes upstairs is another matter.

stronghunter said...

Will is now doing his laundry. The new washer has gotten a good workout.

SED, everyone. I will see you tomorrow.

Olivia Katherine, love the name! God bless her with a wonderful life!

Prayers for you, as always, Jo! Love doctors that are cautious!

Jacks has two dr appointments down and two to go! Then next week he already has two appointments. Enough already! And, he is ready for the eye doctor to remove the cataracts. He sees the eye dr tomorrow.

Front comes through tomorrow. Praying for rain. Sept was the driest Sept ever recorded for our area. Looking forward to a few days of cooler weather.

Time to start preparing for bed.

Night all! SED. 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻

Hi, Everyone,
Dropping in to say goodnight. Have been working on Ancestry.com.
Making slow but steady progress on Ken's family tree. Fun to do!

Wow, both of our eagles have visited the nest! (Awesome avatar, Judy!)

Shirley, glad you're getting caught up with the laundry situation! Enjoy!

Lolly, hope you guys get some rain tomorrow! We were supposed to get some showers or rain last Saturday, but not a drop. Today Ken and I wished we could still be in Vail, CO--they had a high of 28 with snow today! It's supposed to be 97 here in SoCal tomorrow, and 101 on Friday! Aaach!
Well, I'd better get going. Miss Emma is begging for a lap, and Ken has already gone to bed. Prayers continue for everyone. Goodnight, and God bless. I ♥ us!!

Goodorming my eagle friends.

Denny talked to his brother last night. Olivia has not needed to be put on oxygen at all - great sign - and weighed 5 1/2 pounds - that's a big baby for a month early! Mom and baby are doing great!

Have not heard from Lynnis - tried to call but got no answer. Denny emailed Brian in Mexico, who emailed back that he's pretty sure there will be no viewing or funeral service for Dottie.

Long day for me - parent conference night from 5:30-8pm - no sense coming home and going back so I will just stay at school and get work done from 3pm til 5:30. I will check in this afternoon.

Have agreat day - it was good to see both of our eagles in the nest yesterday.

Janet said...

morning all! Thursday. Warm day ahead, rain coming in this evening. Sept was very dry here as well, thankful for rain.

Hope everyone has a super day!

Judie said...

Good early morning.

Slept well last night. Was really tired.

Very good news about Olivia Katherine and Meredith.

Lolly, hope Jack's appointments all go well. No Dallas hospitals, please.

Andy, may raindrops fall on you and Lolly.

Shirley, I agree. Carrying clothes up the stairs is becoming problematic for me also.

Headed for the coffee pot. Then I think I will try to go foraging for food.

Wishing everyone a lovely day.

Mema Jo said...

Good morning to all ♥
Just finished my cup of corffee - I'm
only good for one cup anymore. I have a free day - Whoopee...

Very happy about the birth weight of
Olivia Katherine and that Mom is doing well. Prayers for Lynnis as she faces her loss.

Sounds like the washer is putting on the mileage. Almost like a new
toy! I agree Shirley about folding them and leaving them for pick up by owners. - I think you can always expect one bad day for bowling scores - the team your with now seems not to blame any one bowler and reacts as a team - so different from last year!

Mema Jo said...

Judie - I think your sound sleep proves you don't have anything wrong with your sleeping habits - you just need to run around all day doing things. lol But don't do it 2 days in a row> ♥

Do we send the Mounties out for Hoda yet?

Judy - the albums are fantastic. TY
so very much.

Janet - wishing you a super day too

Good weight for the baby. So happy all is going well.

Good Morning Eagle Buds !!!

SANDI, so happy to hear Olivia Katherine weighs SO much. She'll be home in no time! Prayers for Lynnis and family continue.

JO, s'wonderful to hear you have a free day. Enjoy !!!

Hoping for rain for our TX and CA Momsters and Dadsters!

I picked Malcolm up about an hour ago and brought him home for a play date. It's just like having kids! Julie will pick him up about 4:30. This is to be our last warm, 80° day--rain to start here tonight and will be heavy tomorrow, they say. So, the dogs and I will be outdoors on the deck and in the hood much of the day.

Love and prayers for all!!!

We have a big summit coming up.
New classes starting... Meditation Wednesday evenings now.
Friends who were away in Ontario Cottage Country are back so walks and catching up are back on.
Doing chores to prepare for winter...
It is all good.
I love Us.
Wished I was there for the gathering on the 18th.
Instead I will be with the Kootenay Lake Summit Conference.
Thank you JO.

Jordyn starts gymnastic tonight 530-630 Sure she will love it she is so excited about it also. She is having a sleep over at a friends house tonight First one with this friend and she is ecstatic over it
I picked up the movie for tonight gals movie nite The Fault in our Stars
Ok now heading out before I have to meet Angie at her work at 430

hey all. Thursday afternoon aka Friday eve.

Warm out. Pretty day. Glad to be done with work for the day, I am tired.

Booked myself a massage for 6 tonight. Needing some down time.

Nothing much going on around here. Had a couple pecan sandies and now consuming a cup of coffee!

Later ya'll....

Lolly said...

Dark sky, wind, thunder, come on, please let it rain!! Oh, we have sprinkles, but we need rain!!!

Jack is in Ft worth, called to report rain and hail. Oh, well, his truck is not new!

Lolly said...

Judy, I think they are being very cautious. Concerning the Ebola virus. I think it very careless that he was able to travel here. Very careless of the first nurse who was told he traveled here from Liberia and did not report it.

Judie said...

Good early evening.

Have returned from a successful foraging adventure. Enough for Darth, me, Audrey, and Grace. Darth wanted a T-bone steak. Not my favorite so he will have most of it and we will have lots of salad.

Glad JudyE is watching her step but do hope it rains alligators on Lolly's abode. I notice Jufie has stocked up on alligator repellent.

Hoda, very happy you checked in. Dudley was becoming quite agitated at your absence. He is sooooooo in love with you! Sounds like you are beginning to slow down a little - maybe the rest of us can get some rest. lol

Janet, enjoy the massage!

Hoping everyone else is doing well. Maybe Shirley will check in - fear she may have been swallowed up by the new washer or hidden under a very large pile of clean clothes only to be found when Hunter needs something to wear.

Tomorrow the lawn people are coming to replace our entire front yard. They have tried diligently to get control without success. So, we are resorting to drastic measures. If successful, the investment will be worth it for sale of the house as will the new landscaping. Someday. Sigh!

Okay, prattled on for long enough. BBL

Lolly said...

Well, guess I was not specific. It rained hard for a few minutes. Need to pray for rain to come down for days and days! We received......are you ready for this?......one tenth of an inch! Thankful for that, do not get me wrong, but really???

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Gang!
Happy Red Friday Eve!

Ken & I walked at the mall today, instead of at Anaheim Coves. It's
100 degrees with mild Santa Ana winds. In spite of the MILD wind, our yard is full of leaves again.
The gardeners were just here on Tuesday, but you'd never know it.
Oh, well. It is what it is. At least it's not humid!

I just thought of something--Shar, did Andrew ever hear back from the school about the band teacher job? Still praying about that.

Judy, I'm really glad you haven't met up with any gators in the park! How big was the one that bit your friend?

Jo, so glad you were able to contact Normabyrd! Golly, it's been ages!

Well, not much else to report on from this roost. We're all layin' low in front of the fans. Haven't seen any birds outside today, either. The last few days, 4 Eurasian Collared Doves have shown up at dusk to eat and visit for a while, but that's it.

Hope everyone is having a nice evening. Will try to get back here later to check in. I ♥ us!!

Sandi said...

Hi from school - STILL!!!!! Conference night started at 5:30pm and goes til 8pm. We have had 8 parents show up! That's 8 parents for 130 students on our team! How sad is that???

Judie, I notice you mentioned Audrey and Grace - still no foster home for them?

OK, I think I will sit and watch the clock for the next 15 minutes til I can go home, take a bath, and go to bed! Goodnight all!

Judie said...

Okay, dinner is over and kitchen restored to order. Upstairs and headed across the hall.

Sandi, so sad. Really, really sad. Not difficult to understand why young people are so disinterested and disengaged. No, we have become the foster family. Sent an email on Monday asking for a progress report. Suspect there is no urgency on the part of the rescue group as we continue to care for the girls.

Lolly, I do wish for serious slow soaking rain for your area. Oh, here's a thought -- maybe Jack could fire his shotgun into the sky and scare the rain down. That would be fun.

Andy, glad you and Kubby are walking and enjoying retirement. Hugs for Emma.

Again tonight, I am going to turn in early. Have a long day tomorrow.

Sandperson is already preparing a satchel. The night light will be on at 11pm.

Restful sleep for all.

Lolly said...

I am thinking not a good idea, Judie. Let's think that through.😳

All bad weather went north of us. Lots of wind damage and a lot more rain than we got.

Going to mow tomorrow. Saturday we have a soccer game in Denton. Saturday evening we have a wedding at the Fort Worth Zoo. Really looking forward to that!

Going to say Good nite! It's that time! SED!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Sadly, I found out today that Andrew didn't get that position. :(

Mema Jo said...

Thanks Sharon for giving the update on the job position - There will certainly be something better even though that suited Andrew to a "T"

Lolly - Zoo wedding sounds unique.

Andy - with all your heat it sure is a good idea to walk in a mall with AC

Janet - hoping your massage made you feel wonderful

Judy - are you having another late night out? lol

Mema Jo said...

Judie - I am ready for the sandman.
