I don't like the early nightfall much either, but really, it's not so bad! Holiday time is upon us to keep us busy and before the big Christmas Day, the hours of daylight have already begun to increase! And it IS kind of nice to have light in the AM to get motivated!
Shirley I am studying that Solar Eclipse news now ! It might take me awhile to figure it all out for us hereabouts....Thanks...!! And congrats on that high bowling score !!

I got the information about the eclipse from Rus on FB. I think for those of us on the East Coast, it will be at about sunrise and will be a partial eclipse. Looks like it will be complete in parts of Africa.
Had a nice talk with Susan this evening. She has been so busy that most of my news about her activities has been via FB. As I suspected, there is a new studmuffin in her life. It seems they have rock-climbing in common.
Kathryn is off with a girlfriend to visit an astrologer in Richmond. Will be interested to hear how that turns out. I may be asleep before she gets home. But Hunter may be wide awake. Just checked and he is not asleep.
Do keep us posted on the comet, Margy.
I am getting very sleepy. Think I will say good night while I can still type. See you all tomorrow. God bless.
Oh, Margy, I swear there was a bird in my neighbor's tree that was making such a fuss, I thought about that magpie I saw in Colorado. Didn't see it, so I don't know what it might have been.
We had a great day! Joseph was great keeper and they won! We did not linger there as they had a party to go to. Also, it took us close to 2 hours to get home. Traffic was horrible!
So, jack has se the clocks back and it is only 10:20' so here we sit having popcorn and G& T. See, he is evil! Lol
Good Sunday morning my eagle friends. Lynne is right, this time change is hard on pet owners. Bella was dancing around at 5am (DST) for breakfast and then again at 5:45am.
Tennis for me this morning and then I have lots of school work to do. Got the cleaning and the laundry done yesterday, didn't get a bike ride.
Prayers continue for Dana's dad, Lolly's Norm, Loretta's Norm, Michael, and Hoda's sister.
Good morning to all. Beautiful cool day here in Nashville.
This time change doesn’t mess with me as badly as the fall back in the spring. I am thankful for that!
Work was great yesterday. I even had a long enough break to do yoga. I’ve been doing yoga on my lunch breaks. It really makes my day so much better.
Grocery shopping this morning. :P
LORI: rock those grades girl! MAGPIE: missed your posts! Glad to hear from you. Maybe I just missed them in my speed readings… I feel caught up this morning. Tom and Livvy worked on the house a bit for me while I was at work yesterday. That is most appreciated.
We watched a movie: Jack the giant slayer last night. Pretty good. Livvy liked it. Gotta get moving. Hope everyone has a lovely day! (((Hugs))))
Norm has had several friends step up to come and spend the night these past few days - and it has been a huge blessing to be able to go home, take a bubble bath and sleep in my own bed...even though the empty space on the left side breaks my heart. Thank you, Rex, Jim, John, Monte and last night and tonight, Ken Ruettgers, his dear friend from Oregon. Norm and Ken have a rich history together. They spent several summers together, visiting NFL Training Camps across the country and ministering to the pros - and inviting them to PAO Conferences. The room is full of laughter and wonderful stories when these two guys get together.
The rehab here in the Acute Rehab Center at Swedish Cherry Hill goes on seven days a week. Norm works with therapists for a couple of hours every morning and every afternoon. He often needs to sleep in between - these folks are serious about recovery!! So, if you think about visiting, call me first and I'll let you know the schedule for the day. He has so been blessed by calls, cards, flowers, feedback on CaringBridge and cookies - as well as a few minutes here and there with friends stopping by.
Please know that one of the symptoms of a stroke is that your emotions are right at the surface - he will be laughing one moment and in tears the next. It does not surprise me at all that the tears are not tears of sadness, madness or frustration - but instead, of a tangible sense of the Father's constant love and incredible grace and mercy. Who Norm is at his normal best...is who Norm is in these dire, difficult circumstances. His great heart was not touched by this devastating stroke. The staff here at the hospital all smile when it their turn to provide his care.
We are thankful - and it appears that he remain working in this Rehab for the next four weeks - so we will celebrate a month of Thanksgiving in 2013. Bobbe

Good Afternoon, Dear Eagle Buds! We had a lovely day at Park yesterday and they held the Annual 10/5K runs & a 3K walk for Wildlife. Of course, I was manning the office, but it was not too hectic----most of those visitors could read the directional signs!!! Lolly, thank you so much for posting Norm's Caring Bridge page. What wonderful people they are. Hoping for all the best. Glad you liked the pics. It's about time to see something. Lucky JudyE!!! Haven't heard anything more about my cousin Pat's Norm P. He's taking some chemo now. So glad I never had to have that, but I must have told some lies, as they are probably going to shorten nose. Went out to see if I could see the eclipse this morning, but the sunrise was behind a tree.

Prayers continue for everyone's needs. Make it a great day!
A quick good morning to one and to all! Busy weekend. Work Saturday. Then yesterday was grocery shopping. Walmart was very loud yesterday and distracting. I had a difficult time concentrating on shopping lots of noise bothers me and always has. Hmmmmm…..
I grilled burgers last night for dinner. That hit the spot. Then bowling. We won one game by 1 pin. Tom pulled it off with 2 strikes and 9pins in the 10th frame!!! Woot woot. Personally, I couldn’t hit squat last night. First ball fine, but getting a spare, out of the question! :P bah humbug. Oh well, there’s next week
Now its Monday yet again. A chilly morning here. 39. Going to be nice this week. Hope everyone has a lovely week. I’m off and running . light, love, hugs, and smiles!
Yes - it is cold out there. The sunshine will add some warmth to the day. Squirrels and blue jays and titmouse are feasting. I haven't seen Mr Red recently. Pizza party for gs birthday this evening. Tomorrow Michael has a check up down at UMMC with his surgeon who took care of him. He is so anxious and has many questions. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the prayers.
Good morning! Prayers for Michael, Jo. Prayers he receives some answers.
It is cloudy here, 56 and light rain expected this evening , tomorrow and into Wed, but not holding my breath.
I love reading about Norm. Had not thought about it before, but his personality is reminding me so much of our maternal grandfather. Our grandpa, was a sweet, gentle, emotional person, who everyone loved.
It is also fun to read the comments his friends leave. So many of them are pro football players with funny stories. One story...a man left a comment calling him Brother. He said he remembered in one game, after knocking Norm down, putting out a hand to help him up, saying "how are you, Brother?" And, Norms reply "Don't brother me!" Lol
Time for me starlet my day. After walking, jubby and I have some shopping to do. Have a great day!
Got the test out of the way this morning and the teacher started lecturing on Handling and Taking Diagnostic Tests when the head teacher walked into the room to announce there had been another bomb threat. Stupid kids. Don't they know that's a federal offense? Anyway we were told to go home at 10:35, so here I am, home again. Didn't have time to even get our test scores.
JANET, lucky Tom with the bowling. Should have had him buy a lotto ticket, too!
JO, have fun at the pizza party. Let us know what the doc says about Michael.
SANDI, congrats on the end of your marking period.

Good morning to all ♥

Squirrels and blue jays and titmouse

recently.
Startlet? really? Pecking on my iPad. No telling what I will type!
Good afternoon everyone.
Wishing everyone a great day!
WE HAVE A NEW THREAD!
