Good morning! I'm glad I'm not all by my lonesome! :)

Jewels said...

LOL I would rather be home in bed.... this night is dragging and people are on my nerves tonight.

Jewels said...

I wanna see a bobblehead!!!

DanaMo said...

I know me too! So you are at work? What time does your shift end?

Jewels said...

8 am . and it cannot come soon enough!!

Jewels said...

My shift this month is midnight to 8am. I love my coworkers on this shift but they talk to much and one won't let you get a word in edge wise.

DanaMo said...

Oh yes, I know the type. And sometimes it's just nice to have quiet.

Well I think I'm signing off for now. I'll be back when there is sunlight. Hopefully there will be something to see.

I hope your last 1.5 hours of work are quiet. :) Have a great day! And get some sleep ;)

Jewels said...

Alrighty Dana, sleep well!

Jewels said...

afraid there is no quiet here!!

Jewels said...

I miss my Margy on my shift!!

Sandi said...

Good Saturday morning Dana and Carolyn! Wow, almost 200 comments since I shut down my laptop last night! Either you guys were a very chatty bunch or something happened - back in a bit after I do my speed reading to catch up!

magpie said...

Good Morning Eagle Pals....
Been up for awhile...
heard some healthy peeping shortly
before Belle was making some
Big Girl cheeping...
Can't say I saw a bobblehead thought.

Jewels, I miss my favorite work pal also: YOU!

Good morning Margy and Judy - still reading to catch up!

magpie said...

Appreciate Glo's posting the links to some cheeping...but I could not open them...It's Okay, but Thanks Anyway

I don't recall in prior years being able to hear the peeping...
sure is neat though!

grannyblt said...

Good morning. I see Belle awake and looking around. Can't wait until I can get a clear picture. Will read back last night's comments

Sandi said...

Cam just shook. Shep must be in the tree. Belle got up but then wiggled back down - DARN!

Thanks for the videos of the peeps. Watched Glo's video from 2:30am and thought I was still seeing 2 eggs, not an egg and a chick. JMHO!

Today should be the day for a hatch!! Still, Shep hasn't brought any fish to the nest this AM - another reason I think there's no chick yet.

Jewels said...

nO doubt the one video I seen last night was still 2 eggs, but the noise was still coming from the egg, so I think it will be today or tonight!!

Sandi said...

Just watched a video from Deb Stecyk on OC that she took at 6:13 this AM. It says we get a quick peek at the first chick. I def. didn't see a chick and don't see one right now as Belle is doing an egg roll. I see 2 eggs but I can hear the peeps!

Thanks Judy, for the suggestion to open more than one cam page and stack them on top of one another. The speakers on my laptop are pretty lame but the sound is much better with 3 pages open!

Nope, IMO, no hatch yet!

stronghunter said...

Good morning,

Egg roll. Two eggs. Didn't see pips. Changeover from night to day view happened in mid-roll.

glo said...

Will upload latest video now. I still see 2 eggs and hear peeping. I will tell you something did happen a little after 5 Eastern time that cause a big racket from Belle on the nest. Woke me up but by the time I got to cam in LR she was sitting alert and everything had quieted down again.

stronghunter said...

Shep has arrived. Put fluff on Belle.

Sandi said...

Shep arrives with flugg not food, and proceeds to plop it on Belle's head!

stronghunter said...

Yes, he was almost on top of her and just gave her a head full of flugg.

stronghunter said...

Shep poof.

glo said...

LOL Shep in with comic relief will post that one too soon LOL

magpie said...

Well, on to the work place, land of still cam and Blog posts...but no live feed

Lovin' Wanda's report of
Friday Family Fun Night....
always do love those reports

"See You" all later...
Happy Nest Watching !

glo said...

Just a few minutes later here comes Shep. Maybe he heard the forecast LOL Sheps Comic Relief">

Lori O. said...

I'm confused...so we hear peeps and OC says the first glimpse of the eaglet...but Sandi says she didn't see any... Does anyone know if there's an eaglet this morning? I trust SANDI, so I'm thinking not, but, yes, confused.... :)

Lori O. said...

GLO, I couldn't see your video. Said it was unavailable. Maybe too many people watching it!

Sandi said...

2 eggs Lori. Even Deb on OC has said 2 eggs were seen this AM. No hatch yet.

glo said...

OK well hopefully others are watching etc. Dex and i are soon off to coffee and dog treats. You can see first egg roll of daylight and comic relief if you scroll back just a couple of comments for both videos. It's a wonder she didn't smack him LOL. I bet she saw him coming and is still not surprised by his antics LOL. Too funny.

Lori O. said...

Thank YOU, SANDI!

GLO, have a good morning with Dex.

glo said...

Good morning Sandi Hi Lori Well both videos are also on my facebook wall first two things of the morning. Not sure why you can't open them. I open them fine. G to my wall I guess.

Lori O. said...

GLO, it was on FB that it said it was unavailable...that was where the link went to. I'll check your blog.

glo said...

no sorry not on blog

glo said...

Well atleast one other person has seen one of them on fb. I have no clue. Sheps comic relief is too fun. and we are still waiting on a hatch. 2 eggs. peeping heard 40 mins ago.

stronghunter said...

Breakfast for Belle.

Eggs exposed. Cannot tell if there is a pip.

Sandi said...

Glo, your videos played fine for me on FB.

Tennis this morning from 9 til 11 - RATS! But other than that, I will be glued to my computer monitor all weekend!!

Dana and Hoda both mentioned the parents of my students yesterday. Sadly, the parents are a big part of the problem! Parents in jail, parents on drugs, parents who are still "children" themselves (either chronologically or emotionally), parents who make excuses for their children rather than accepting responsibility for them, parents who are too busy working to parent. It is sad!

Shep just arrived with a fish for Belle! Whatta guy! She is eating and Shep is now egg sitting.

glo said...

Shep in with food for Belle. Moves over to tend eggs. Egg in front either has very large crack or big piece of straw. Keep a look out.

stronghunter said...

Or parents fighting with one another. Each one blaming the other for the problems with the kid.

Shadow of what had to be Belle flying over the nest on her way to a bit of freedom.

Sandi said...

Do you recall last year, when Shep was egg sitting and a chick hatched under him (don't remember if it was #1 or #2). He stood up and looked down at what used to be an egg but wasn't an egg anymore, and looked around like, "Oh crap, what did I do? What the heck is this? Where's the egg I was sitting on? What's Belle gonna say when she sees this?"
=)

grannyblt said...

No hatch. Can't tell if a pip

Sandi said...

OK, gotta get ready for tennis! I'll be back by 11:15 - promise!!

Later!!

stronghunter said...

Parents who do drugs with the kid. Yep.

Parents who are in the same gang as the kid.

Parents who are teachers, too, and try to tell you how to do your job.

glo said...

LOL Sandi. Will share Sheps breakfast delivery and egg tending and then off for coffee and dog treats. I haven't had much sleep. I could see and hear all kinds of things soon. Its breakfast instead of hat flugg this time">

Lori O. said...

Thanks for the info and updates everyone... Kate is here this weekend with Dalai so it's a lot busy around here!

glo said...

After watching latest video again I do think the front egg has a large crack which changes in size on the video as the chick pushes against it to hatch. coffee time BBL

grannyblt said...

I used to work with someone raising a grandson who would take no responsibility for the child's bad behavior. It was always the teacher's, or someone else's, fault. That child is surely in jail by now....

grannyblt said...

Enjoy your visit Lori. Hope you aren't contending with snow like we have here. Tell Phil he was sure wrong this year!!

Shep egg-sitting and doing nestorations.

stronghunter said...

Quiet here now. Kathryn is at work and Hunter is with his dad for the day.

I might fall back asleep.

stronghunter said...

Shep is one busy little housekeeper.

Judie said...

Good morning!

Finally have internet back. Went down sometime wee hours of Friday morning. Took Darth and Peggy from about 10am until almost 9pm to get it "cleaned" of a gazillion corrupted files, etc.

Too much to catch up on. Looks as if Shep is egg sitting but also looks as if he's not quite so deep down. Of course my eyes could just be playing wishing thinking tricks on me.

I'll check in as I can today as I have some errands to take care of.

Wish everyone a wonderful day and wishing for a bobble head, also.

olivia was invited to join in an ice skating synchro class the next four saturdays...where the skaters learn to skate together as a group...its free and she was specifically invited, so you know were we will be. its only a 30 min class...

i have a private reiki class @ 12:30 and reiki share @ 3:30...

that pretty much sums up my day. i know i grip about the time change, but i do enjoy the extra light at the end of the day.

everyone ... have a superb day! light, love and hugs to all! here's looking for an eaglet today!!!!

YAY, a pip!!! Won't be long, now.

glo said...

Oh Magpie So glad you could see the video. It's gonna be a great day.

Lori O. said...

Dang, I keep getting errors on the videos...must be my computer's problem since everyone else is able to see them. Sorry for the alarm, GLO.

Waiting to see the pip on my new iPad Puffin Browser that LINDA told us about!

Hey! Maybe I can watch the videos on my iPad - I'll try that.

Again, thanks for all the updates!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING...
Loved GLO's video...hearing that little baby inside the egg is like a miracle!

LORI, someone, I think LINDA,
was giving instuctins as to how to see the LIVE screen on all those hand held devices...

stronghunter said...

Shep is crunching on something there.

stronghunter said...

Shep is crunching on something there.

stronghunter said...

Pardon double post, please.

glo said...

Shep is back. Obviously he has been to the lumber yard. He makes me nervous moving branches around these eggs now lOL. Anyway He has now taken his place on the eggs and Belle has poofed.

stronghunter said...

I hear a dove.

stronghunter said...

Belle back.

glo said...

Gosh Lori I hope you can get it on your Ipad with the puffin browser. I surely hope so. I know you can see the nest on it as it worked for you yesterday.

stronghunter said...

Definitely going to have a long thread this weekend, but would not be surprised if Steve pops in at some point and gives us a new one.

glo said...

With Blogger it really does not matter at all how long the thread is. It would help keep the dates and times a little straighter for all of us watching though.

stronghunter said...

We've gone longer than this before, that is for sure.

stronghunter said...

Someone on OC thought they saw holes in both eggs, too. Wouldn't that be something? If the delay worked so well that both chicks hatch on the same day?

glo said...

3 eggs hatched within about 28 hours of each other at American Eagle Foundation last year. it was just like watching triplets so very close in size and behavior all the way through.

stronghunter said...

egg roll.

stronghunter said...

Lots of trains today.

stronghunter said...

Would be harder to tell them apart if they are really close like that. Lots less bullying, though, I would think.

Mema Jo said...

BWE getting fed - they sure are growing

BWO - On the platform now
This new osprey was hanging around a while on Friday; it might be a resident.

Mema Jo said...

I only saw the one egg with the PIP

Sandi said...

Home from tennis! Good day!

Glo, thanks for the video of the exchange at 9:20am. Sure hope we get a chick some time today!!

Didn't the Blackwater eaglets hatch just one day apart?

Sun is out here in Bethany right now but the nasty weather is headed this way. Hope Ocean City can get the St. Patrick's Day parade in before the rain starts.

glo said...

Gosh that Shep sure does lots of fiddling when its his turn. I think he is ADHD :-)

Sandi said...

I just checked the log and BW eaglets hatched on 2/26 and 2/27. Hope ours come that close together while I'm off!

I agree with Jo that Steve is probably checking the cam when he can and may start a new thread once we have a hatch.

paula eagleholic said...

A pip was spotted?

Sunny here now w blue skies

An eagle landed in my yard this morning!

Sandi said...

Oops, sorry - it was Shirley who said that about Steve and a new thread!

Lori, enjoy your visit with Kate and Dalai this weekend! If I had guests this weekend, I think I would be a terrible hostess - it would be so hard for me to stay away from the cam! =)

Pauka, enjoy your day in Paradise! Sorry to hear about the new leaks!

Sandi said...

Paula, not Pauka! WOW - an eagle in your yard??? How cool is that! Adult or juvie?

Lynne2 said...

Can Paula get a Puffing thingy so she can watch from HER phone, too?

Unknown said...

Hi everybody! Well, I was wrong, Thought surely we would have a hatch last night, but there is a nice big PIP clearly visible this am. Surely it will be today!

Some folks on the cam comments say they thought they spied pip in the second egg too, but I have not seen it yet.

I have a friend who watched the Jordan Lake eagle cam and said one year their eggs hatched within 12 hours of each other. Wow, wonder if "ours" will be that close this year?

glo said...

Paula Any chance you might open up a camping spot in your yard. :-) You have indeed found your paradise.

Lynne2 said...

hey, Steve is going to join the blog. I forget how to do that! help!

Lynne2 said...

oh Lydia, that would be so much awesome for us to have them hatch so closw!!!

Sandi said...

Just got a little glimpse when Shep repositioned himself. Hole may be larger but still seeing 2 eggs.

Sandi said...

Could definitely see a large hole in the front egg while Shep was just up and moving the eggs and could hear the chick peeping. Couldn't see enough of the 2nd egg to tell if there was a pip.

I agree that Shep seems more comfortable with the idea of tending eggs, not chicks!! I think he thinks that, if he just tucks enough fluff around the eggs, the chicks will stay inside them! =)

Unknown said...

Thanks magpie--good to be here ♥ Eggscited to be off on hatch weekend!!!!
