I am jumping over to see where you all have gone.......

Mema Jo said...

Well that is crazy - I am the first one to split..

You know what... The comment box is
not over by the right margin....
Are we back to old style comments?
It is farther to the right then before..

Weird

paula eagleholic said...

:)

paula eagleholic said...

Mine is still at the bottom, Jo

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, wish they would make those comments not show...but I don't read them anymore

Mema Jo said...

Paula Is your comment box at the bottom because you have shrunk your whole page in half?

Mema Jo said...

What comments show that you don't read
I have nothing like that ... ?

paula eagleholic said...

I was talking about the comments under the cam, Jo.

Page full blast, still have comment box at the bottom

Mema Jo said...

I agree that I also wish that OD would put the comments on another page as they were recently. I don't read them and very seldom look at them.
At the top of the cam is PHOTOS
I did pull those up today.

I thought Margy was on her way over here I am happy your weekend went well
Did you ever find out what the Burning was across the way from your place.

Hoda said...

Welcome home PAULA.

Glad you made a safe trip.

We'll have avalanches well into April...I am glad they rescued the two from today.

Judie said...

Hi all,

Glad Sharon is feeling some better. Hope she continues to improve. Also hope Thelma is doing better.

Shirley, so sorry the tooth is still giving you trouble and discomfort. Hope there will be some relief tonight.

Hoda, thanks for the information. Just always cautious as some therapists are not licensed and take advantage of others.

Lynn, you are going to look beauteous! Glad you had the energy and interest.

Paula, nice you had lovely weather for paradise.

I still think Wanda and the Capt. should have a soup kitchen fish fry -- good fish market just down the road. Wand, how's GG?

Time for me to hug the sandperson and send him/her on the way to visit others. Sleep well everyone.

paula eagleholic said...

Jo, haven't found out what the burning was. Apparently they don't do any more controlled marsh burns. It may be in the paper down there next time I go down...

Hoda said...

Thanks JUDIE. It is all good.

I think I need to shut down the computer to see if I can get to bed within a decent time...

Goodnight.

PRAYERS♥

paula eagleholic said...

Is the 15 minute timeout gone too?

paula eagleholic said...

Hope you get some sleep, Hoda!

Going to hit the hay myself..been a long day

JUDIE...we have never had fish for dinner at the Soup Kitchen. Mountaineer Food Bank has never given us any. Too expensive to buy for a crowd as large as we have been having!
I would like to raid the Royal Nest of some of their fresh fish...they get some beauties at times:)

We had 2/3 of the family at GG's Friday and the other 1/3 today; Jillian and Aaron. We were sooo happy to see them (GG loves Aaron)
Jillian and I pulled the weeds out of 2 of the flower gardens. All ready to plant some Megan flowers. (I would have to play hooky from church to do that) I guess the 21st Nest Trip won't be too late!

GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL

ps Judie...GG is somewhat better. May take a while for that pain patch to work throughout her system~
She was happy to get your card...thank you, you are so sweet to remember her through the mail. Her favorite part of the day is going to the mail box!

Kay, so glad you are using a cane! It is against Momster rules to fall. Use that cane!!! What you need is an eagle cane.☺ I am really so sorry that you hurt so bad and having trouble getting around. Prayers that there is an opening and you can get your shot sooner than next week. Love and (((hugs))) as well as lots of prayers!!!!

Lolly said...

Tomorrow I go back to the eye doctor and I order my glasses! Yea me! Yea glasses! LOL Have been having lots of allergy problems with my eyes, so I will ask for a prescription for eye drops. I was using them, but stopped as I thought I could do without them. Well, I did for a while but spring pollen has really affected them.

Lolly said...

It got up to 87 today!! Do not like that! It is presently 75 and we have decided to turn on the ceiling fan tonight. House is wide open and fans going.

Lolly said...

Guess it is my turn to say good night! I will slip over to the candles, lite a couple for Kay and Lynn, say my prayers and head to bed.

Night all!♥ Sweet dreams!♥

HODA, since you're not on, I'm
hoping that you're getting some
good sleep & a tea craving won't
disturb you! :)

LYNN, I bet you look even prettier
with your fresh mani - pedi! What color?

JO, sounds like you got all the good
goodies for your Easter festivities! I bet the GG's love it!

Sorry about your tooth pain, SHIRLEY.

KAY, don't you worry about using a cane.
I'm positive that shot on the 11th will do the trick.
Prayers for a pain-free day, week, month!

LOLLY, I bet you're excited to be
getting some new glasses. LYNN got hers recently, and I had an exam
and ordered mine on Friday! Wish we
had a group plan!

Should be an easier week at work.
Loo is on vacation and Marilyn will fill in for him.

Hi, Everyone,

Hope you all had a blessed Palm Sunday, and April Fool's Day.

Think I posted this on the wrong thread:

We have had quite an afternoon and evening. The neighbor who lives next door to our desert house called, and told us that our gardener came over and told him that someone broke into our house, by breaking one of the patio sliders on the back side of the house! We called Security, and the Sheriff. The Sheriff called to let us know that it looks like a bunch of teenagers were having a party and drinking in the house.
There's apparently not a lot of damage, but they did leave some graffiti on the wall. He said it's not going to be a difficult fix.
However, Kubby had to call his boss and get tomorrow off, and we are both going to make the trip up there to take care of the situation. We've called the insurance company. They were looking up someone who boards up broken windows, and were supposed to call us back, but they never did. When we tried to call them, the number was "changed or out of service" with no new number on the voice mail. Please pray that nobody will break in again before we can get the slider boarded up.
Security is going to keep a close eye on the place, but I'm not sure whether they will be checking out the back side of the place, or just driving by. Golly, it seems there's always something. We didn't drive up there today, because we figured it would be nearly impossible to get someone to board up the broken slider at 4:30 or 5 pm on Palm Sunday. Hope we have some success tomorrow. It's a 90-minute drive one way. Emma will have to stay home alone, so we'll be concerned for her while we are gone. We hope we will be able to sell that house before too long, because it's becoming an unnecessary source of stress for us. It's a really complicated situation, though, and we need to find a probate attorney who knows real estate. My cousin is a part-owner, and we haven't seen or heard from her since about 1994. She hasn't contributed a cent to either the payments, or any repairs. Tried an internet search to find her, with absolutely no success.
More prayers, please! The place was completely refurbished inside about 5 years ago, but we haven't rented it out. My Dad, when he rented the other house he owned just down the street, had the place trashed by the renters. Yikes! MTBR tomorrow....

Very happy to hear that Lynn was feeling better today! Hooray--no nausea! Hope the massage was just what the doctor ordered. Sending love and (((HUGS))), and prayers for your healing continue!

Lori, praying for the situation with Kate's mom. Certainly hoping it works out well! That's a tough one, for sure.

Well, very tired, so I'm calling it a night. Prayers have been said for everyone, and every creature.

GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDS

stronghunter said...

Just getting up.

Paula, it is the same tooth with the root canal. It still needs a cap. I have to wait a bit for that. I postponed a bit because Hunter will be on spring break and need to go with me, but if it keeps hurting, I may reschedule and take him along.

stronghunter said...

BBL. Must get Hunter going.

Janet said...

Morning all!

Spring break: easy going mornings as I am the ONLY ONE UP! :)

Ms. Bookworm: how awful that your house was broken into. It leaves you feeling quite invaded...we had some issues a couple years ago with vagrants who were living on a knoll behind our house....my son caught them climbing over our fence late one night and i don't think they were coming for coffee and cake....i freaked. so sorry that this has happened...

glancing over posts for the last day or so: hoda, so sorry that you are still having snow. please ignore the rest of my post.....lol.

(joking)

we have continued to have over the top warm weather. its been averaging in the 80's. we do need rain, things are beginning to dry out, but hopefully int he next few days. i've been trying to get the weeds under control in my flower bed (sigh) not a lot of luck there. we did plant the cherry tree yesterday! ( i bought a bing cherry tree). so excited about that. the fig tree is up and looking glorious. just such an early start to the warm weather!

we have all of the boat seats in now. the old ones sold...tom put them on craig's list and within an hour he had phone calls and a guy came out to get them last night! those behemoths are GONE! boat seats are great...but where does one put them outside the boat? they take up a lot of space!

my friend john suffered another smaller heart attack on friday. i was at work and beside myself. not really sure how i functioned. thankfully it was "small" and the wife (cheryl) took him straight to the hospital where they put him back in and put the 2nd stent in. he's home again....and all seems well.

last week was just a rough week: and i am putting all energies towards less stress this week!

looking at taking a day off and taking the boat out tomorrow if all goes well. first time for the season. the water is still too cold to get in or go tubing, but just to get out there and relax....NICE thought. want to go fishing next weekend.....wanted to go tuesday, but the grandkids will be with us and 4 and 5 aren't going to sit still long enough i don't believe to fish. that's okay....

one more Sunday for bowling. we are 11th out of 14. we are not dead last! hurrah!! we won all 3 games last night. i've had a stinky few weeks, but managed to bowl over 100 all 3 games, so i'm not complaining!

all right, need to get ready for work. have a fabulous day to all. smiles!

Sandi said...

DMo, guess you got yourself moving - hard for me to do today as well!

Hoping for a good day for
Lynn
Kay
Sharon
Thelma
Shirley
Kate's mom.

Wow, sun at the nest this AM. Still cloudy here but the rain has stopped and the wind has really picked up - should get sunny by this afternoon. Have a good day, my eagle friends.

stronghunter said...

Hunter is now having a bowl of cereal and watching cartoons. He is still supposed to read for 20 minutes. Oh, my goodness. I don't know if we will make it to do that.

Windy and cool here this morning. I need to buy blinds for two windows in Kathryn's room. Lucky has destroyed them.

Andy, sorry about the damage to the desert house. Sounds like a complicated mess with the cousin.

Janet, my bowling team dropped from 8th to 9th place in our 10-team league. Tomorrow is the last game.

Any suggestions for a lady's bowling team name? We are now Rose's Ladies, but Rose quit long ago. I would not even recognize her.

stronghunter said...

Nest looks peaceful but windy this morning.

Good morning. Off to coffee and dog treats.

hedgie said...

Good Monday AM!
It's a glorious one-----birds are singing, trees are still leafing out and the woods are starting to look prettier.

Andy, so sorry about the break-in. Scary and such a violation. Good luck on your trip today.

LORI: toesies are BLUE! Fingernails just a pearlized neutral taupe!

Eaglets have grown overnight! Amazing how big they are getting. Hurray for a successful season for our nest.

I stayed awake for the whole ACM show and was so tickled that Scotty got the award, and thought that Sharons' Pat and Miranda did loverly on Marry Me!

hedgie said...

Shirley, hope the tooth is feeling better this morning. Know what you mean about the pain pills. If I took two, I'd be in la-la land for a week!!!

Looks like Hoda slept all night---I hope.

Hoping that Sharon is 100% today.

hedgie said...

How about the Strikeclones, Shirley????

paula eagleholic said...

No posts this morning?

paula eagleholic said...

OK, there you all are...I couldn't get any new posts when I refreshed!

paula eagleholic said...

Shirley, didn't they put a temp cap on it?

hedgie said...

As a little boy I used to babysit used to say: time for some "brpprest."

Lori O. said...

LYNN, Blue toes - I love it!!! You wild woman!

paula eagleholic said...

Andy, so sorry to hear about the break in...hope you can find someone to take care of that window today.

Huge poop shoot by #1

Judie said...

Oh ho, Shirley's Girlies? Rolling Thunderballs. What fun! Shirley, so sorry that tooth is giving you so much trouble. Really hope it can be treated quickly. Tooth pain is very unpleasant.

What drama at Lock Garten. Want it to sort out with no permanent injuries. Ilsa was looking pretty in the sunshine this morning.

Our babes are sleeping and being well-tended. Looked like Belle.

paula eagleholic said...

Clumsy wing flaps!

Judie said...

Swingin' Sisters?

Andy, so very sorry about the desert house. So very inconvenient and just so hateful when people take advantage of a situation like yours. As for the cousin, you have probably tried People Search but if not, it might go better than Ancestry.com. You might also check the Health Dept. in the last known city of residence -- would have death record.

Wishing Kay and Sharon and Thelma a healing day.

Coffee and newspaper. Bye

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Gang,
About to go take a shower and do some damage control to my appearance so I don't frighten small children today. We will be leaving to go to the high desert within the hour. Emma is going to puppy camp today so we have one less thing to be concerned about. She likes it there, and won't have to bust her bladder waiting for us to get back home. Thank you all for your concern and your prayers for the situation at the desert house. We got a call from the insurance company, and they gave us the number of a company in nearby Apple Valley that boards up broken windows. We've already called them, and looks like they will be out today to take care of the broken slider.

Judie, I'll try People Search again--maybe they'll have some newer info. Last time I tried, the last address was from 1996. She's a bit of a vagabond, so could be just about anywhere. May have to hire a private investigator or something.

Well, better get going. Pretty anxious to get up to the house and see just what we're dealing with there.

Lynn, will be thinking of you today, and sending love and hugs your way. Prayers for your healing going up, as usual. Did I read that you now have blue toenails? Good for you! Love it!

HAGD, everyone. If anyone talks to Sharon, send her my love. Know what the vertigo is like--Kubby's had a BAD case in the past. NO picnic, for sure!

Later, alligators. :o]

Ms Bookworm said...

P.S.--Saying healing prayers for Thelma, too. Sending love her way.
Miss her!

Hello - What a sunny but breezy morning it is. I pray everyone had a restful night.
Little ones are snug in the egg cup but I'm sure they will be up again soon

I am jumping over....

Mema Jo said...

Shep is in the nest - little ones are
still in the egg cup - Hope they don't blow out!

Mema Jo said...

Blue Toes, you sound like your beautiful self this morning... Love it! Don't walk out to the mailbox - you could blow away! ♥

stronghunter said...

I found info about relatives who have passed away on a Social Security website, Andy. I am not sure which site I was on.

Would be nice if you can avoid the expense of a private investigator.

stronghunter said...

Blue toes. How cool, Lynn. I haven't painted my toenails for a long time.

The babies are lovely, but, geesh, what a mess of half-eaten fish.

Mema Jo said...

Andy - safe journey and hope damage is
not too destructive. You are very fortunate to have next door neighbor - We have an neighbor next to us that is an all year resident. I really fear for vandals but they have their eyes on the house.

Judie said...

Mornin' Jo.

Shep still babysitting and babes are sunning themselves. Windy.

Checked on Derek and Savannah and their babe was no where to be seen. At four weeks, it may be already moved to the hack tower.

Decorah has three little bobble heads. Cute. Mom having trouble tucking all three under her.

Phoebe has two tiny babes.

Well, I've diddled away enough time. Need to read some material for class tomorrow.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley - It would be worth a phone call to your dentist to let him know that your tooth is very uncomfortable.
Can you massage the gum around the tooth? I don't mean for pain med, I mean for an explanation of the cause.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Paula, I am with you on the cam, I do think it is a bit blurrier!

Andy, guess you are headed out already. Sorry about the break in and wish you luck on selling the place. Property that is owned by several can be a pain in the neck.

Lynn...toenails blue? How's the circulation in your feet? LOL You are sounding good! Hope that is the case. We should have been together last night...listening to and cheering for Scotty. Isn't he the cutest?

Have a great day everyone! Time to read the paper. Want Kay to get on and say she is a bit better today!!!!

Also want to hear from Sharon!!!

Some feeding in our nest

Mema Jo said...

I agree with Paula that due to size our #1 is a gal and our #2 is a boy.

Shep is feeding both of them

stronghunter said...

I can massage around the tooth, Jo. I probably should give the dentist a call. Last time, I e-mailed and they called me pretty quickly. They really do quite well.

I like it that I can call and get a real person during office hours and leave a message at other times.
