Luncheon and gifts. I had already purchased for them the infant car seat and so for the shower which is 'Yellow Ducky' themed, I found a yellow ducky bank from Lenox. I guess I better put some coins in it before I give it. The Shower should be FUN! ♥

I just checked the nest and was surprised to see how much the eaglets have grown in a week; black feathers and all coming in.
I have been reading about your get together. Lucky all of you. It sure looks like you have a large bunch coming to this one. Take plenty of pics and all have safe travels and you will have a wonderful time once there, I'm sure. I am jealous. Maybe next time.
There is the happy family all together now. They sure have strong winds. Oh, Shep just left. Guess he is out looking for dinner for his family.

Been in and outside watching the show in neighbor's yard. They had a guy up in a tree cutting it down with a chain saw branch by branch. Branches go over Fubby's garage roof. If he hadn't been at a car show this AM, he would have been out there! Man was very good--tied ropes around limbs so they fell in a safe place.
I hear more TV car noises. Believe Nascar is today and trucks tomorrow. Varoom room~~~

It sticks in my mind that STEVE wrote that the chicklettes are about the size of a chicke...I like it how Missy sleeps on her side and stretches out both feetsies and wing in one direction...very challenging yoga pose I would say!!! I wishe Bro would not use the side f the railing for a pillow, he is at eight and there is a big hole right in under his head!!!
I am sure the rest of the reailing is just cut off because of the zoomed in camera but it makes me worry.

Thinking of LOLLY and JACK and hoping their trip is going really well...reunion today I do believe...
Took Bandit and Bella up to run in the sand for the first time this spring - beautiful warm day. What a difference in Bandit from last fall! Bella has always had a hard time keeping up with my long strides, since her legs are only 4" long. But Bandit has always bounded ahead, zig-zagging here and there, chasing seagulls, and loving the chance to run off-leash. He and I would walk for miles and he would be so happy that he looked like he was grinning! Today, he started out great but after about 5 blocks, he stopped running and just walked beside me. I probably turned around before we even hit the half mile mark, but by then, Bandit was walking behind me and even behind Bella! Poor old boy, he has really slowed down.
My eyes are so itchy from all this pollen, and it will go on for at least another week! It was warm enough to open windows today but there was NO way I was letting that stuff blow inside. Our first year of living here, we went to work and I left windows open one spring day. We have dark hardwood floors and, by the time I got home, they were yellow, as was all of the furniture! Learned my lesson!!
Gotta feed dogs and come up with something to feed the people in the house! Already did pizza last night ... hmmm ...
Oh yeah, Kay, it was great to hear that today was a little better for you!! Hope each day is a little better than the one before!

I saw the chicklettes being fed at least twice today and their crops look full to me, yet I do not understand why Shep did not bring in fresh food today. There is plenty fish leftovers under all the new fluff and especially where Bro is lying down right now around four position there is 3/4 of a fish under the fresh flugg that was brought in today...
