LYNN I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself and had a ten hour sleep when you returned...catching up with your self and taking it all in...great way to heal.
I like their little sounds PAULA and I also like how they are staying close together when Belle is not in the nest...In she comes and they snuggle in under her...so awesome to see rather!
Missy got under Belle too, did she kcick Bro out the other side? Is he still in under her and warm?I do not see him but wonder if he is under her tail feathers now not getting much warmth???
LYNNE2, I'm with you ! Loved getting Sharon's list of raffle items won by her family and hope others will share their lists, too. There must have been a whole bunch of items. Anxious to hear what charity the group decided will receive the monies garnered.
Oh, how I love the pics that have been shared so far. I long for even more. LORI, your Eagle shots are splendiferous ! Can't wait to see people shots taken at the Clarion dinner, too.
It helps soothe my ruffled feathers to see what a grand time was had by all. Do so hope I can be there the next time Momsters and Dadsters gather.
JO, those great-grands are beautiful ! Glad they were there to share the joy and spread even more joy !
Happy WET Sunday afternoon. Glad to hear others are getting home today from S'town. Was a wonderful gathering. I did konk out after eating a Berger cookie last night! To die for. Have to hide them! Yes, the Bluefield gang got some great prizes & I think Susan and Linda won many!! Great to see all the newbies that we already "know" and our special pals Lynn and Tori! Slept really late, hope the priest won't mind and have to tackle pics! Have a great day. Some I've seen already are great!!!
Checked the Live cam which actually opened on IE after 3 days and see there are bobbles at Belle's head and tail. Saw the big wings in front, but then a bobblehead wiggled out of her tail!
I would love to have an autumn get together with our group, someplace pretty! Not that the nest isn't pretty, but there won't be any action in the fall. KAY will be feeling much better by then, RIGHT?!
I think today may be the day that our oil tank falls down. When landlord's wife had the idea that each place should have it's own tank, the big and well supported tank was removed and 2 smaller ones put in. There is a drain of sorts under those tanks where the washing machine drains into. It's not draining anymore since he rearranged things...the hole fills, and eventually spills out into the driveway. The water is wearing away the ground underneath. Our take is tilted dangerously at this point. Downward on one side and leaning more and more towards the wall of the laundry room. It's perched on blocks of wood.
I can see a hazardous oil spill coming shortly. I'm not going to be a habby camper when it goes. Especially since there is still about a third of a tank's worth of oil in it.
I hope everyone had a safe trip home who traveled from distant lands ;).
We all had a great time yesterday, mom was happy to meet everyone and Tori was glad to be out minus her feet giving her a hard time. We never made it to B'more and with the weather the way it is, it is better for Tori to be home then out in the rain and cold.
Well Susan and I cleaned up pretty darn good last night with the raffle. I think we were both embarrassed when our numbers were called.
I will share pictures of what I won on my blog later, but my first was a set of eagle picture note cards that Lori made! That was one of the door prizes.
1. A beautiful 1500 piece Eagle Puzzle.
2. A darling bird fabric bag filled with goodies like a yankee candle, small egg nests with soap, linen towels (birds on fabric), bird necklace and something to clip to your purse to keep you keys.
3. A Bob Quinn Book of Photographs of the Blackwater Refuge (amazing photography)
4. A hand woven basket made by our own Lori with fabric resembling our Royal Eagle Pair. It included colors of white and gold and brown, and of course....spotted white fabric on one side for Shep's head!! It came in a beautiful box with another set of note cards. (Tori expressed interest in how that basket was made, so I gave it to her and told her maybe next year she will bring one of her own she made for a raffle prize!)
4. And the highlight of my night was winning a gorgeous sculpture of an eagle perched on a piece of driftwood. This one held a special place in my heart, as it was a contribution from Lynn ♥ for the raffle!!
Well, I guess now that tax season is over, I can no longer count. I had to insert #4 before #5 and forgot to change 5! I forgot the basket I passed on to Tori!
Just checking in after my own adventure behind closed eyelids. Glad Sharon and group are almost home and that Shirley has checked in as have most other travelers.
Babes still hunkered down.
Still raining, of course, and that suggests pasghetti and meatballs for tonight.
Lynn, they don't so much snuggle up but prop themselves up against the warmest body. Maybe the snuggle part will come as they continue to gain confidence.
Off to try again to finish the newspaper. Was hard to make out the words from behind my eyelids.
It was Norma who contributed the eagle statue...two yrs. ago! It got forgotten somehow by this dummy as she had given it to me at the spring gathering, and raffle wasn't until fall! DUH!
Shirley, glad you are home and settled in, too.
Judie, as long as they want the human contact, you're in like FLynn with this pair.
Robyn, glad you all stayed home today. Not a fit day to be out if not necessary. Hope Tori slept well last night!
SHARON, thanks for the donation info. Great choices, both so meaningful for our group !
LYNNE2, cannot tell a lie. I feel lousy today, but am walking better today so that's something. Hope you're right about my feeling better by Fall--if so, I'll be wherever y'all are gettin' together. With bells on ! ☺
LORI, looking forward to your next pics ! I loved the few shots people got of you ! You'll have to tell me who got the things I sent for the raffle--so far haven't seen them on a list. Thank you very much for taking care of that for me and for all you did to make the get-together a huge success !
I just posted EAGLE PEEPs AND RAFFLE PRIZE PICTURES on my blog.
Wanda was still working on setting up the raffle prizes when I snapped the last picture, but you get the idea...seems there was a lot more than these early pictures show.
Hoda, send some of your beachable weather this way!!!!! It's down to 45° here and miserable. Now they are saying WE could get a skiff of snow tomorrow sometime. Lynne's inlaws could get 6-10" of the heavy wet snow...already warnings out for power outages. Ridiculous.....it's almost MAY, for Pete's sake.
Lynne, I didn't get any Berger cookies...but they are too rich for me now anyway. I am sticking to blander things than chocolate even tho' I'm yearning for these mini Reese's PB cups on my shelf. :(
LYNN is so right, LYNNE2. Surely there is someone who can help with that awful tank situation. That landlord of yours just doesn't give a hoot, it seems. Arrrrgggghh!
Happy to see the Southern Delegation is home safe and sound. I thought maybe the car was dragging bottom with all that loot being carried home ! LOL
Interesting Kay, that the Bluebirds book you sent and the Mystery Gift with the $100 bill inside, both had bluebirds. The box with the money in it was a pretty bluebird box!
LORI, I couldn't be happier with the winners of my items ! Wahoo !
Good pics you've added. What are Maddie, Linda and Shirley and the rest at that table working on ? Which one is Shirley. I see a redhead who looks more like Judie, but then I've never met them in person.
LORI, it's thanks to you that there was a pretty bluebird box and I thank you !
LYNN, I thank you ! I hope to have JUDIE's luck with surgery as I'm pretty sure that's what lies ahead. The neurosurgeon I asked for is very well respected and there is usually a long wait to see her. However, my Primary Dr. went to bat for me---she's a jewel ! Are you doing okay today after so much activity the last two days ?
Aha, thanks to PAULA for confirming that it's JUDIE in that picture. Thought maybe SHIRLEY had gone to a salon for a new do Saturday afternoon, cause' she sure looked different sitting in that car with Kathryn earlier in the day ! ;o)
That book looked good to me, too, PAULA. Saw an article about the author in our paper and thought it ideal for bird lovers.
Rain is still coming down and I hear the train whistle in the distance. Belle has all she can do to shelter those growing peaglets now ! Can't believe how big they are already---LORI's pictures give a good perspective on that. Also a big jet overhead---what a busy place. No wonder Momsters noises were so easily ignored by our lovely Eagle Family !
Well LYNN we are 66 degrees today and people are so excited they are out in shorts!!!LOL!!! Earth day festivities up near the health food store and at the Provincial Building. I stopped to sign a few petitions and cards about the environment and it is all good... People are friendly and in a good mood. There was a bit of a breeze at the beech and it was not so many people but the magnolias are out in the park...
I had a good talk with the weather Gods LYNN and they tell me that you all have to experience what eastern and central Canada are going through right now...Major snow is falling there right now...SORRY.
I will go put the food away...I bought organic maple syrup today and that is the treat for this week...
KAY - To answer your question on what we were working on at the table before the dinner......
We had some items we bagged that Jo had for us to give to everyone there. The items were a eagle head charm, one of DanaMo's buttons she made for the 2012 Week-end, an eagle bookmark, a postcard of Belle & Liberty and a bookmark of several pictures JudyE took.
Susan also gave each Momster an eagle bandana!! Whoo Hoo!!
Some special packages will be mailed out soon..... We saved a few for our special momster friends!!
Good Evening Eagle Buds. Put my eagle pics in the Nest Visit album. What a job---had taken 40! Dinner pics will be next after I eat my Tuscany Grille leftovers! Yum!
We just did whatever Jo told us to do!! That lady knows how to delegate and keep everyone doing their job!
Ask her son Michael!! What a gem he was yesterday. Judie sure was sweet on him!! LOL
Jo he never questioned a thing you said. He just did whatever you asked. You did a fine job with your children. Your grandchildren at the nest were absolutely adorable. Maybe they were great grandchildren. Either way, those little ones were just as personable as they could be!
What great prizes! Hey, that book looks like it's The Bluebird Effect....I think I mentioned I got it out of the library recently...haven't started it yet, better get on the ball!
I feel so bad for Belle, Missy and Bro...I wonder where is Shep, he could come in and protect one of the eaglettes? I know... my wishful thinking nothing more!!!
She made have made a stop on the way home. She had her fishing pole with her!!
But then again, today was not a good day for fishing, was it?
Maybe she went to see her daughter.
She doesn't post frequently, but hopefully will check in tonight and let us know she is home safe and sound.
LYNNE - It was so awesome to meet you face to face! I sure wish we had more time to hang out and chat. I was so in awe of the eagles, I didn't visit much at the nest!
I much enjoyed seeing you in LINDA'S pictures LYNN...what a winning smile you have and how absolutely heart warming to see you two hug...when two or more are gathered there is LOVE/GOD.
FINALLY HOME!!! What a fabulous weekend!! We sure crammed a LOT in and did a lot of driving in the process!!
Can't wait to check out everyone's pics on their blogs! I cannot say enough about how wonderful the company was Friday evening and Saturday!! I felt like I was with true friends, not with strangers! Amazing how a couple of eagles can bring so many together!
The only yucky part of the weekend was the drive home - never stopped raining from the time we left my sister's in Elkridge (it actually rained the whole time we were checking out the condos with Mom) until we got home!!
I just posted a few pictures of the weekend. My camera isn't quite as fancy, so the nest pictures are not as close-up, but I have some good ones of the dinner on Saturday night.
Brought my precious Megan flowers indoors for the night. They enjoyed the rain this afternoon, but I think they are used to the warmth of the greenhouse.
Well, my Sun. night TV is beginning so I am going to say my goodnights, hoping I stay awake for the next two hours! Wonderful days of remembering so many special moments over the weekend!!!!! Memories to cherish and chuckle over!! LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH.
Oh my goodness. I really have to get going. Headed over the mountain to Jo's youngest son's birthday celebration. Maybe Michael will be there.
Okay, enough of this silliness. Darth and everyone else will have a seriously bad impression. Happy Birthday to Jo's youngest son (and hi to Michael).
Off to watch some mindless t.v. It may be a long night and a longer several days. The kittens are scheduled for surgery next week. May have to be postponed. All indications are that Grace (aka Baker) is now in heat and Audrey (aka Brindle) is close. Give me strength!
Hoda, Mom didn't look at any new places but Denny and I got to see her 3 top picks from last Thursday and we all agreed that the one Mom liked best was the best fit for her. The realtor is coming to Mom's place on Tuesday to talk about what needs to be done to get it on the market. I know it's all pretty overwhelming for Mom. I wish she was healthier and didn't need to make a decision like this. At the same time, I will sleep much easier knowing that she is 5 minutes from my sister and all on one floor.
You can tell it has been a GOOD weekend for the Eagle Momsters/Dadsters as to how many comments have been made.
I just returned from Spice cake with that Buttercream icing - My kids are getting old!
So many many wonderful pictures. Loretta thank you for putting your photos in the EM albums. I invite many more of these photos on your personal blogs to go over to the EM albums. Great when they are all together for us and new members to get a look at us.
Wow, what an awesome weekend. I'm enjoying all the pics posted on Facebook and various blogs. It was wonderful to meet the new members of our group, and just soawesome that Tori could be there with us again. I'm not sure who donated the book I won, The Bluebird Effect, but I can't wait to read it, I had just read about it online a week or so ago. Not a lot of free time right now, so it'll be a slow read. Thanks to all of you who visited my gh, just baby those plants until we get through this cold spell, they have been in the gh, nice and warm, and the cold nights would really be a shock to them.
I've been lazing around today, this chick isn't as good as she once was, but I'm as good ONCE as I ever was:) Partying all weekend was fun, but rest was needed to get ready for the week ahead!
I've been looking at all the wonderful/fun pictures that have been posted and I just smiled through them all...as Lynn said, WHAT MEMORIES!
While it is still fresh on my mind, I want to tell all of you that wasn't at dinner Saturday night, that LINDA asked the blessing and it was the most wonderful, poinant prayer I ever heard. She mentioned TORI and our LYNN so eloquently that she had us ALL in tears. I am anguished that I didn't video her as she prayed...it truly was beautiful.
I have posted 59 photos on facebook and will try tomorrow to put them on EM Album. I also have some videos that I tried to put on my blog, but didn't take. Will try later tonight or tomorrow if my body doesn't hold up!
Also wanted to thank LINDA for all the help that she gave us. I do believe she could have run the whole evening by herself. Appreciated all helpers, Susan, Lori, and I had better stop right now, know I will forget someone. But seems everyone helped in some way, cause that's what we do best!!
To those who asked about GG, she was doing well today, even put some makeup on:)
Oh, I forgot, so many momsters and family brought so much delicious food for lunch in the EE, that we could have eaten supper there too. THANK YOU ALL SOOO MUCH!!
I taped The Good Wife - hope it was a good one. I have been watching this season 2's The Killing. I just watched it and it has left me hanging until next week. Still Raining and I sure hope our little birds don't catch cold - it is going to be a while before it is a warm sunny day.
I am so sorry that Jerry wasn't able to come to our nest visit - would have been great for him to be up close to the nest and the eagles.
WANDA - Thank you so very much for such a touching compliment on my prayer! It was from the heart and from all our hearts!!
I think you must have meant LORI could have run this event all by herself. She did MOST of the preparations and a fine job she did.
I was just her sidekick willing to help wherever it was needed.
It took all of us to make this the memorable event it was. From the raffle items sent from those who could not be with us, to the door prizes, the amazing lunch, the arrangements for both nights' meals, the arrangements to visit the nest and so much more.......
I JUST LOVE US!!!
I can post my prayer if you'd like on my blog.....maybe tomorrow.
I just got out of the shower and there was a TICK on my arm.....
Eeeewwwwww
I had just unpacked, so Dennis thinks it came off something in my suitcase. We put everything in the garage for tonight and I'll inspect and thoroughly wash and DROWN everything tomorrow!!
LINDA, I would be so happy to have you post your prayer. It touched my heart as non other and if you looked at the rest of us, it touched us all to tears~
LINDA, LORI did help with most everything, she is good at most everything she does...but I was refering to your help as a NEWBIE. Our newbies don't usually feel as comfortable with all of us as you, on their first meeting. You just waded right in as though you've been with us many times before:)
Okay, it is time to surrender myself to the sandperson who has repeatedly sprinkled sleepy dust into my eyes. Tomorrow begins my final preparation for the end of the semester.
The night light is on for any one who might need to arise in the darkness. Restful sleep for all.
I think I have missed most everyone at this late hour, but wanted to say Hi to those still up and about, and Good Night in advance...and hope that those already on the pillows are Sleeping Sweetly and Warmly...
Well Howdy there, Jo...and a little bit late wishing your son a Happy Birthday, bet it was a grand gathering with him...... some kind of weather out there, isn't it !!
So we are still waiting to hear that Susan arrived home safely and soundly.... was so nice to see her again...maybe she traveled the farthest distance I am thinking, oughta be a prize for that ☺
Still checking out pictures, have Shirley's and Loretta's to gaze upon.....
Well that's GREAT....found that both Loretta's AND Linda's pictures are in the E-M albums.... Nice, Ladies ! Great pictures....also checked out Shirley's - every picture I have looked at has been a real treat, thank you so much to all...
Well, my husband has been very patient and I think he is REALLY ready to head upstairs to bed!!
Love you all!!
Will keep you all in prayer for the many needs we have, especially the healing needs of Tori ♥, Kay ♥ and Lynn ♥ May the Lord strengthen you and take away your pains.
We got home at 4:30 this afternoon and promptly unloaded the trailer and started the laundry. After dinner I sat down to read the blog and have fallen asleep at least twice trying to read it. Duh!!! Can not read behind closed eyelids! Maybe Jueie can...I can not!
I have also been taking sidetrips to see all the pictures. They are fantastic. I am so happy that you all had such a memorable time. I knew you would! I have been to those dinners, I have been to the nest, I have seen the eagles, but I have never seen the show they put on for you. Awesome!
Hi, Everyone, Hope I haven't missed all of you! It has taken a WHILE to catch up! Thank you to everybody who posted pictures on your blog--they are all just wonderful! I feel as if I have been there with all y'all! Linda, the prayer is just awesome! Truly Spirit led!
Oh, Judie--you are in my prayers for sure, with both kittens going into heat! Lord, have mercy! Oh--I like the names Baker and Brindle, too! Cute!
Sure hope the weather doesn't get TOO bad back there! Geez--possible snow? It's late April, almost May! Who'da thought?!
Well, prayers have been said for everyone, especially Lynn, Kay, Tori, and Lolly. Lynn, hope you manage to sleep another 10 hours tonight! Prayers for you continue from this roost. (((HUGS))) & love, too!
I am happy to announce that I DID get all my work done! Just need to mail everything back tomorrow morning. YAY! Thanks for your prayers for that. :o]
Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep tight, with sweet dreams. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! ((GROUP HUG))!!! :o]
Ah, the weekend is over, for me anyhow. Back to work for some of us. Wish I could have lingered in that love and friendship, great memories, fun pictures and eagles forever!
Prayers for Lynn, Kay, Lolly, Red, Hoda and all in need for health and help.
Sounds like it's still raining at the nest - poor little peaglets! Very soggy here but not raining.
Linda, your dinner blessing was beautiful!! I'd just like to say thank you ALL so much for being such a loving, welcoming group! At Friday's dinner, Lynn gave me a little placard with the slogan that many use - "We came for the eagles, but stayed for the friendships we have made!" That is so true! You all are THE BEST!!
Shep just arrived with breakfast for the kids! Belle shook the water off those beautiful wings. Missy was standing up on her feetsies. Now belle is feeding Missy.
Good morning all you beautiful eagle people! Hope you have a great day. We are getting some snow here it Bluefield but so far just a scattering. Don't think we will see a lot of accumulation. I hope the bulk of it steers clear of the nest!!! It was great to see everyone this weekend, missed the ones that couldn't make it. Meeting Tori was absolutely wonderful, to be sure.
Harper's Ferry was very wet!! LOL!! We are going to try to get back up there sometime this summer when it is not so nasty outside. We walked across the bridge above the water and got a few pics for Mattie for extra credit, but it was pouring down rain. So much to see there, can't wait to go back.
And there's Belle....in from the back, and walks over to Shep to inspect the catch. Long thin fish. Shep poofed, might be on the 9 branch...chicks are looking there. Belle takes the fish to the back of the nest
Mom is having a few bites as well...Bro up on his feets now....big stretch and nice poop shoot....he walks over towards Belle and Missy, now he is at the 9 looking out...whew he backed off just a bit, now standing in the bowl, doing some shakes and preening.

LYNN I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself and had a ten hour sleep when you returned...catching up with your self and taking it all in...great way to heal.
Missy standing on those feets pretty good. Bro still chowing down. She is watching him eat.
Belle is feeding BRO, for a wonder Missy is waiting her turn...Mom is also eating.
OK, she's hungry now, she had a bite, he had a bite, then she pecked him....both getting some now....well she's probably getting most bites now
Here comes Missy pushing her way in, now she is the only one eating and she totally pushed in between Bro and Belle!!!
Boy Missy is really grabbing for the food as soon as Belle tears it off. Bro getting some more
Belle has not forgotten Bro and gave him a few bites.
150 more miles to home. Raining the whole way.
Both getting a good feeding now...that fish is gonna be gone soon
Bro's getting the rest of it....Missy has moved towards noon, but now she is back again watching.
You can hear the chicks peeping while eating. ☺
Belle shakes and takes off sideways to the left!
LOL Bro thinkgs he can get under Missy to stay dry!
Belle back from the 12, gonna try and cover them up again....
I like their little sounds PAULA and I also like how they are staying close together when Belle is not in the nest...In she comes and they snuggle in under her...so awesome to see rather!
Oh, and that fish at the bottom of the nest was entirely consumed during that last feeding!
yes I noticed that PAULA the fish is gone...BRO turns around and completely goes in under Belle, Missy is not covered as much
LOLLY and JACK must be on the road by now and I think the southern delegation too...Safe trips both...
Sharon just posted above...they're getting close!
uh, did ANYONE else win anything other than the S. Delegation people??
LYNN, wow a 10 hour sleep...that's fantastic!
I see SHARON'S post now...thanks PAUlA...
Missy got under Belle too, did she kcick Bro out the other side? Is he still in under her and warm?I do not see him but wonder if he is under her tail feathers now not getting much warmth???

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Hoda, they are both squeezed in there somehow or another!
Hi Kay!
Linda and WVSusan were the other big winners!
Kay, how are you feeling today??
LYNN.....did LYNN get BERGER COOKIES???
We decided to donate half to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and the other half to the American Cancer Society.
I would love to have an autumn get together with our group, someplace pretty! Not that the nest isn't pretty, but there won't be any action in the fall. KAY will be feeling much better by then, RIGHT?!
Very excellent choices Sharon!
Thanks Sharon, I forgot to post that info!
I think today may be the day that our oil tank falls down. It's perched on blocks of wood.
SHARON you all have A BIG HEART... The donations...
I can see a hazardous oil spill coming shortly. I'm not going to be a habby camper when it goes. Especially since there is still about a third of a tank's worth of oil in it.
I hope everyone had a safe trip home who traveled from distant lands ;).

Dana, that was Jason not Justin.
Stay dry all.
Belle up and digging, chicks are moving around
Off to the park and maybe a walk on the beach...it is sunny and seems warm here...I will do groceries at the health food store later...HUGS♥

Hi,
Back home and in my recliner. I took a nap as soon as we got here. It was a great weekend. I will post some pictures in awhile.
stuck again
Just woke up from a nice nap!!
Whew.......I think I remembered everything!
Had to rent a u-Haul to bring it all home!! LOL
Our birds look wet and cold. Brrr.
Linda, don't think anyone noticed that! LOL
Think I'll see if I can find my few people pics and post those.
We are home!
Lynne, can't anybody do anything to stabilize that tank??? Scary to think that it could topple and lose all that oil!
LOL
Wanda won your Mystery Box, Kay.
Megan won the Bluebirds book you sent. She said it was on her reading list and was very excited!
Hi, Kay! Glad you are moving better, dear one. So anxious to hear about your apptmt. outcome. We need you at 100%, kiddo!
Going to check out Lori's latest pics.
WhooHoo...Southern Delegation is safely home! Bet some dogs are really happy, too!!!
I see a redhead who looks more like Judie, but then I've never met them in person.
oH kAY, everyone wanted those two things...going to put that book on my reading list!
Lori, that's Judie in your first pic, LOL
LORI, it's thanks to you that there was a pretty bluebird box and I thank you !
LYNN, I thank you ! I hope to have JUDIE's luck with surgery as I'm pretty sure that's what lies ahead. The neurosurgeon I asked for is very well respected and there is usually a long wait to see her. However, my Primary Dr. went to bat for me---she's a jewel ! Are you doing okay today after so much activity the last two days ?
In fact, all the raffle items were very much wanted!!
Oh, Megan, I do hope that there is no snow.
That is such a sweet picture of JO with a pensive look on her face ! And, WANDA looks great, too ! Wasn't it grand to see her without a cane ?
WANDA, have you see Brantly in person yet ? What's the latest on GG ? Hope the pain has eased up.
Yes, that is Judie. I got my do done, but not that much of a change!
Sorry about that Shirley and Judie. I went to edit and fix it just now and can't figure out how to change it. ♥
I think that the bedding in the nest is being hung out to dry. lol
:o] Trying to catch up!
I am heading over to my younger sons 48th Birthday cake and ice cream
BBS
Happy Birthday to your younger son, JO ! Enjoy the party !
I'm heading for the pantry to see what looks good for supper.
Prayers for all in need and prayer of thanks for the good time so many of you had this weekend !
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Enjoy your evening activities, Kay. Hope you find something extra-appealing in the pantry!
Wish we would hear from wv sUSAn that she is home in Charleston.
And that Sandi and Dennis made it back to Bethany okay, too.
Thanks, Hoda, for the visual on your lovely spring day. Nothing here compares.
Jo, is it Charlie's b-day? Happy, happy to him!
Hope Susan is home, no recent posts on her FB, but no news is good news!
Kay...I am hoping everyone can at least THINK about an autumn get together! I know schedules are so full, though.
Put my pics on my Blog.
Will put them on the E-M album, a little later.
I think Dennis wants dinner!!!
Great photos LINDA both of the eagles and the peeps. Thanks for posting.
Same here Linda!
Steve had his fishing pole, too! But we didn't stop anywhere due to threatening skies!
Welcome home SANDI...did your MOM see anything else she liked? Have you seen the one she liked?
OMG - I love us.
Glad you are home, Sandi! Full weekend for you, for sure. Get thee to bed----school looms tomorrow!
Linda, the pictures were great!!! Thanks!
Hope that your condo search was a good one, Sandi.
BBL
Hoda, Mom didn't look at any new places but Denny and I got to see her 3 top picks from last Thursday and we all agreed that the one Mom liked best was the best fit for her. The realtor is coming to Mom's place on Tuesday to talk about what needs to be done to get it on the market. I know it's all pretty overwhelming for Mom. I wish she was healthier and didn't need to make a decision like this. At the same time, I will sleep much easier knowing that she is 5 minutes from my sister and all on one floor.
Belle is tenting, God love her!!! Trying to keep those babies warm and sheltered! What a sight she is!!
You are a great daughter to your MOM SANDI...
You are hilarious JUDIE and with lots of class.
Oh look at graceful Lady Belle Manteling...
Just got home from Angies and dinner lots to read
Hello all...
I've been lazing around today, this chick isn't as good as she once was, but I'm as good ONCE as I ever was:) Partying all weekend
was fun, but rest was needed to get ready for the week ahead!
I just watched it and it has left me hanging until next
week.
Time for me to wind things down and go to bed.
LINDA, LORI did help with most everything, she is good at most everything she does...but I was refering to your help as a NEWBIE. Our newbies don't usually feel as comfortable with all of us as you, on their first meeting. You just waded right in as though you've been with us many times before:)
Shirley, sleep well AND, you don't have to get up and go to school in the morning;)
Had to watch Apprentice. Now it's almost bedtime! Think it's still raining here. Hope our eagle family stays warm.No Snow Allowed!
Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for Good Health, esp. Lynn and Tori ;>)
Okay, it is time to surrender myself to the sandperson who has repeatedly sprinkled sleepy dust into my eyes. Tomorrow begins my final preparation for the end of the semester.
The night light is on for any one who might need to arise in the darkness. Restful sleep for all.
I think I have missed most everyone at this late hour, but wanted to say Hi to those still up and about, and Good Night in advance...and hope that those already on the pillows are Sleeping Sweetly and Warmly...
now to read backwards a little....
xox (( Hugs ♥ ))
I have yet to say Good Night so
Hi Margy..
I am bouncing around on everyone's blogs and on FB making sure I see all the wonderful pictures.........
God bless us one and all
Restful sleep for all and awaken refreshed

whoops bumped myself off the current page...was looking at all the new pictures ! Wow....
Well, thank you, again, WANDA!!
You are too kind!
I felt so welcomed and loved as if I had been a Momster from day one!! That is a tribute to ALL OF YOU!!
xoxo ♥
Well Howdy there, Jo...and a little bit late wishing your son a Happy Birthday, bet it was a grand gathering with him......
some kind of weather out there, isn't it !!
Love your pictures, Linda....
perfectly presented also !!
Bravo
and yes, I would like to see the prayer also ♥
sorry about the tick !!!!!
So we are still waiting to hear that Susan arrived home safely and soundly....
was so nice to see her again...maybe she traveled the farthest distance I am thinking, oughta be a prize for that ☺
Still checking out pictures, have Shirley's and Loretta's to gaze upon.....
But I'm winding down fast...
My Saturday Evening Prayer is on my Blog.....

Good Night to You Too, Hoda...I see you snuck in while I was typing....
xo (( Hugs ♥ ))
We got home at 4:30 this afternoon and promptly unloaded the trailer and started the laundry. After dinner I sat down to read the blog and have fallen asleep at least twice trying to read it. Duh!!! Can not read behind closed eyelids! Maybe Jueie can...I can not!
I have also been taking sidetrips to see all the pictures. They are fantastic. I am so happy that you all had such a memorable time. I knew you would! I have been to those dinners, I have been to the nest, I have seen the eagles, but I have never seen the show they put on for you. Awesome!
It is now time for me to head to bed. I can not hold my eyes open!
See you in the morning!!
Night all.....sweet dreams!
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS,
PEACEFUL SLEEP
PRAYERS FOR ALL.
PRAYERS FOR THOSE WHO NEED EXTRA
HELP!
Hi, Everyone,
Hope I haven't missed all of you!
Have a great day!!!
At work now... the week begins. Let's make it a great week, after our great weekend! :)
Raining + Monday= Blah...blah...blah
Morning Lori and DanaMo! Back to work day - UGGHH!! But what a fabulous weekend!!
Lynn, prayers that today is a great one for you!
Kay, prayers that your pain is manageable today!
I ♥ us!!
And thanks you to EVERYONE who organized the Non-Open house weekend!!! It was super - count me in for next spring - and Dennis too!!!
Mother Belle is laying across the middle of the top of the babies, and only covering the middle of them...aahhhhh. Poor babies are soaking wet, too.
Shep just arrived with breakfast for the kids! Belle shook the water off those beautiful wings. Missy was standing up on her feetsies. Now belle is feeding Missy.
Both kids are getting better at walking a little ways upright on their feet! Looks cold and sounds windy at the nest - poor babies!!
Bro has eased his way over to Belle and is sticking his little beak right in there to get his share!
Good Morning, Bev! Try your best to keep the snow down that way. ♥
Glad you all got home safe and sound. How was Harper's Ferry?
Harper's Ferry was very wet!! LOL!! We are going to try to get back up there sometime this summer when it is not so nasty outside. We walked across the bridge above the water and got a few pics for Mattie for extra credit, but it was pouring down rain. So much to see there, can't wait to go back.
Looks like Belle poofed, chicks wet and alone. think the rain has stopped.
Shep in with a fish! boy is he soggy!
And there's Belle....in from the back, and walks over to Shep to inspect the catch. Long thin fish. Shep poofed, might be on the 9 branch...chicks are looking there. Belle takes the fish to the back of the nest
Chicks are ready to eat...think Missy is up first...wow, what a poop shoot, she's ready now ☺
Mom is having a few bites as well...Bro up on his feets now....big stretch and nice poop shoot....he walks over towards Belle and Missy, now he is at the 9 looking out...whew he backed off just a bit, now standing in the bowl, doing some shakes and preening.
Belle standing in the bowl now with both...wind shield...still a little gusty at times
OMG, that is one sorry sight in the nest with all of them sopping wet.
Those babies are certainly hunkered down under their momma!! I don't blame them a bit!
♥
I wanna take an umbrella and a heater up there for them!! LOL!!
Lori, I am very impatiently waiting on the pics you took with that awesome camera of yours!!
Hey everyone ... Steve has given us a NEW THREAD!!!
NEW THREAD ALERT!!!
NEW THREAD!!!!
NEW THREAD!!!!! c'MON OVER!!
Leaping over. . .
See you on the new thread.
..reading back on the last page
Hope I can jump that far....
