Good Morning, Everyone!

I was really tired yesterday, and all clogged up with allergies, so fell asleep soon after dinner. Never made it back here to say goodnight.

Margy, definitely praying for your BIL, and for you and the whole family. Glad he's doing a little better.

Lynn, prayers for the nausea to scram, pronto, and for you to regain more energy! Prayers for healing continue. Love & ((HUGS))!!

We have a tax preparation appt. today at 4 pm, so I am busy finishing up with organizing all our paperwork for that. May not be here much today.

SO good to see you back on here, Thelma! Missed you!

Lolly, sorry everything is so soggy there from the rain. We're supposed to be getting about an inch of rain here tomorrow, so prepare for more there in a couple of days!

Well, need to get busy on tax paperwork again. HAGD, everyone!
Will try to stay awake tonight, and get back here after dinner.
Love you folks! :o]

Lori, do you work out or is that just natural? I want to go with you next time you go. I will be your assistant, get your towels and drinks or whatever in the world you would need! :-)

Good Tuesday Morning to everyone.
I am over on the 200 and will join you soon. Anxious moments at the nest with Big Girl with the spot on her head and hanging over the edge. Well thank goodness the whole family is in the nest and little one is now in the middle of the nest

Margy, glad you saw James and sending more healing prayers for brother-in-law.

Safe travel DanaMo.

Time to get my chariot on the road and get to the big school house.

Wishing all a very nice morning.

April 9 Nest Update from the cam page

April 9, 2012

The eaglets are now at a point where their bodies are thermoregulating, and no longer need to be brooded by their parents. Both chicks are growing very quickly and, at just three weeks old, are both larger than the size of a full grown chicken. Although there doesn't seem to be as many fish in the nest as when they were younger, this may be because the chicks may be growing enough where they are eating larger amounts and at a more rapid rate. At one point, food was so abundant, each of the parents, simultaneously, had one chick at each end of the nest, and were each feeding them a different fish, so that neither of the chicks had to compete for food and had the full attention from each of the parents. Have any of our viewers seen this take place with other eagles? This was a first for us. Another interesting observation is that, when the chicks are lying down, they seem to lie down on their sides like a puppy, instead of an upright position like their parents. As the food remains start to collect flies, and although we cannot smell through cameras, we can only imagine what the aroma may be like; the parents have begun bringing in new nesting material. Before we know it, we'll see feathers replace their down, and their wings will begin flapping, in preparation to fledge.

Just finished my walk and the peaglets were very entertaining as well as Shep and Belle. Enjoyed watching them eat...crops were full! Enjoyed watching Big Gal "walk" and also go after her mom's tail feathers. I LOL!

Lolly said...

Yes, if Dana believed that picture, I do believe she got April Fooled!

Hi, back home. It was a 40-mile trip to the bowling banquet. I came home and tried to nap. Feel a bit more rested.

Paula, we came in 9th place out of 10 teams. We bowled without one of our members for 1/4 of the season. She had a stroke, but is saying she is better and wants to return next year. She is a good bowler.

stronghunter said...

We drove down there kind of wondering why the banquet was so far from here, but it was nice to be on the water.

It was at a restaurant in Colonial Beach. I had been there before, but the other team member with me is fairly new to the area and less familiar with the outlying areas.

The restaurant is usually closed on Tuesdays, but opened for our group, but with a limited menu.

Think I saw some seagull HP out on one of the boats at the dock today.
