Lori, I LOVE blueberry pancakes! But this morning it was bacon, fried egg, and a thin cinnamon/raisin bagel. Very tasty all around...especially after last Sunday's debacle!

How about if I just write

Will it work?

hedgie said...

Shirley---hurray---you got out of having to cook!!!

Lori O. said...

Sorry, I was a little slow on that one. At least I'm not just sitting here clicking refresh and you are all over here having Blueberry Pancakes.
:) Glad you like 'em LYNN.

Wonder what PAULA is seeing this morning through the fog?

Need to add correction to my earlier post...

see that Vickie is DanaMo's friend, and that it was the daugher Erin
and her young daughter Ella in the accident

same prayers are in place....

sausage sandwich...yumm

every put grape jelly on that?
friend at work brings them in from McDonald's sometimes, and adds that...Mighty tasty!

Lynn, sorry that the Italian fare last night was a disappointment...
ever been to Tari's?
lots to look at in there
but I've never eaten there

hedgie said...

Hi Thelma and Margy.
Ye, I don't like the new FinFerry view much at all. :( Very disappointing. Did you see the pics of the "ringing?"

Liesl is running through the house in circles!! And she had quite a time earlier bedeviling two daddy-long-legs out on the deck! They both escaped unharmed----their legs tickled her nose!

Sorry about the fruit, Shirley. Not a big fan of frozen fruit! Always seems mushy to me. I always keep a can of the Dole mixed tropicals on hand---and add banana to it if I have one!

hedgie said...

Margy, hope that Fred and his wife are good "roughing-it" types. ARGH!!
Question: which Donaldson man is married to a woman who lives next to Danetta?

Lori O. said...

LYNN, Sorry about your Italian dinner last night. I know what you mean. I had a horrible dinner at Outback last night. The third salad was still the wrong one! Frustrating. We had a new waitress and sheforgot to put the ticket in. I've never been a waitress and I'm sure it's a crazy job at times, but after an hour and 15minutes I was tired of it. Kate said her filet steak sandwich was good; but, even their usually stellar green beans tasted like they were from Friday night.

Lori O. said...

Ooooooooh Margy. Jelly on a sausage sandwich would make it taste like a yummy for my tummy Monte Cristo!

hedgie said...

Margy...sounds SO strange to hear Caro on the radio this time of day!!

Shirley, I saw that story about the man biting the snake---crazy! He'll probably get off with a slap on the wrist.

what road does Danetta live on...that might help me out...
I can only think of Jimmy right now...

hedgie said...

Margy, Tari's is my most favorite place in B.S. Used to take Bill there for his b-day dinners, and I always take out-of-town visitors there! It's steep, but it's well worth it!!
Was told last night that Maria's has been there for 50 yrs. I sure don't know how!!!! Maybe they've had a recent change in cooks. :(

hedgie said...

Lori, I was thinking of a Monte Cristo, too!! Yum!

Hope all are well.

hedgie said...

Sorry your meal was a bust, too.....did you complain??? Last time I did at Outback, I got my meal free---including the re-do; it was also an excessive wait.

'Morning Jo..
I'm about to have a bowl of cold cereal also...

GREAT report on your picnic last night ☺

I'm wracking my brain
I'll go email on it with you

OMG!! Keith Richards is an old man!!! Mick has aged much better!!

The FinFerry nesting material has sunk further into the platform since yesterday, when I saw a young osprey working on a meal...

hedgie said...

T-bird: wonder why WVU is playing on a Sunday? Very unusual.

magpie said...

Two O's at FinFerry looks like adult and child

Mema Jo said...

I am going to also complain about
Outback -not the service but the food.
Salads have been downgraded or something. All of them are chopped - your fork doesn't pick up anything. Baked potato and broccoli are still good but the steak is thinner cut. We were disappointed as was the Bragg Bunch who ate there for their anniversary dinner. She complained about the Cheesy Fries being half the portion they were used to getting. I am so sorry to see this happening - but now I need to find a good steak house.

My gosh Jo we were working on it at the same time !!! LOL

Thanks to you, with the Birthday list...we can keep track of these important events !!

Lolly said...

Good morning! I am ready for church and Jack is preparing breakfast, omelet, bacon, grits, and coffee cake from the freezer. Could not get better.

Laurel and family are coming this afternoon. Michael and Ashley are flying home.

Happy, Happy Birthday to our IRIS!!! Hope this is one fantastic day for you!

Lolly said...

Will read back on the blog later, but wanted to wish all of you a fantastic day.

It was 75 again this morning and supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow morning. No rain, but this lower temp is doing much for our state of mind not to mention what it does for Hawkwood! This will be our first 4 day stretch with no watering so the low temp will really help! Jack and I have already been out to water pots and I never before thought 75 would feel cool, but it did!

See you later, Gators!

hedgie said...

Oh, my...sent Iris her card and then completely forgot that today is IT!

♫♪HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IRIS!!!!

Good morning! I am so bad at this blog stuff. I've tried to post a few comments on some blogs, but it says my google account doesn't have permission to post. Very strange.

Linda, I LOVE your Border Collie...he's beautiful!

Hope everyone has a great day. Hubby's bday today, so dinner at his Mom's.

Happy bday, Iris!

** Happy Birthday to your husband, Diane **
and what a TREAT to see you here with us...

hedgie said...

Jo, sorry about your Outback experiences. Sad, indeed. Do you have a Logan's nearby? So far, NO complaints there for us!

Wow---FinFerry nest is all but gone!! Wonder what happened since yesterday?????

Judie said...

Good morning, again.

Hi Thelma. Enjoy the game.

Wow, Shirley, I thought golf was expensive when I played years ago. No model planes in my future. Glad Rus enjoys them and your breakfast was good.

Margy, so sorry about Fred and MaryAlice being without power for so long. Even worse than Linda. Still, your flowers are blooming and pretty. Mine are almost all gone. Milkweed is yellowing, squirrels are eating salvia stalks.

Darth and I tried an Outback once. Service was okay but food was awful. Never gone to one again. Too many other options in DC area.

Lynn, sure hope Myrtle wasn't trying to out run something bad. Let us know when you see her again, please.

Happy Birthday, Iris. May your special day be extra special.

wvgal_dana said...

Happy Birthday to Iris our sweet lady

Hi Diane Happy Birthday to your hubby

Judie said...

Logan's is always good. The closest to us has a pond with geese -- geese walk about the outside patio greeting diners. Fun -- a bit messy but like them.

wvgal_dana said...

Ok inquiry minds--I can see, I can count, my arm, shoulder and leg are way way better. No brusing at all..anywhere. I could always chew but sore....that is much better. No headaches, no dizzy, yes back on medication sleep like a baby (which is what it is for). I am going to call and see dr. Tuesday.
Will call dentist Tuesday see if he thinks I should come in earlier than my appt. I will be getting xrays anyways this time.

I just can't afford what they are going to leave me to pay at hospital. I know you all care!!!! My income with having to have someone mow the grass. Which has been every week with the rain......SORRY LOLLY. I know they will let me make payments but I don't have that payment money.

I love you all believe me I am not just laughing at your comments to me...I am in and have been in DEEP PRAYER ABOUT THEM AND YOUR CONCERN!! Sorry I am crying because I hate letting you ALL that have begged me to go to ER down. Please forgive me. I know you'll still care and love me.

hedgie said...

Happy birthday to your hubby, Diane!

magpie said...

That's a good report, Dana..
sounds like you and God have worked this out....
We love you...take care of yourself, don't worry about letting us down...
just know that we CARE
xo

magpie said...

Good Morning Judie...
good to see you too...
I am headed for my first nap of the day...
don't think I slept too well last night
xo

wvgal_dana said...

Lynn-Hedgie is that Logan's at the Commons?

Ed loved Outback for their fries with cheese and bacon. Then we would order steak Victoria and Lobster tail. Neither of us could eat salads so we would get a soup. Have been thinking of going there. Now with all the bad I don't think I waste my money. Mother has been wanting a steak from somewhere. I saved using coupons and different things. Not running gas out of car as much to go in to her. So I we could go to a GOOD steak place. So Logan's is where we should try????

wvgal_dana said...

Lynne maybe put the cardboard with something on it so light won't show on ceiling. Did you put the tan paper tape strips up and down the sides so the stinkbugs could crawl up them?

Judie said...

Snowman and companion are ready for Fall.

wvgal_dana said...

Oh Loretta the tree wracker
came back. Yes holding that
hole fills in.

That is a good idea Lori
a hanging basketm, windchime,
or a bird house maybe.
I think you painted some
didn't you one time?

Where did I miss roof problem
for Paula's Paradise?

Hope has a collar. Now that
is GOOD NEWS!! I'm SMILING!

Margy I loved the movie Fried Green Tomatoes!!
Yep your having a good crop for
sandwiches. Well I just erased my question.
Another comment answered that-7days Martinsburg bound. On call--beep beep controls our poor
Margy. Could a trip to Swinging Bridge be in there?

magpie said...

Paula discovered a little leak in part of the roof over one of the bedrooms Dana
a few ceiling tiles needed to be replaced and some of the bedding got wet
she was not too worried about it

wvgal_dana said...

Hoda I read your so interesting comment.
You left Egypt your home when you were 16. Did you already know where and who you was going to live with here in US? God Bless you yes to become 63. What
date will that be?
So glad the feeling of lying down on a sail boat is leaving
you. The medicine must be helping from what you say. For thirsty try a hard piece of candy to suck on or a piece of gum. Helps with saliva.

wvgal_dana said...

Thank you Margy.

Bless Paula's heart glad it not terrible. Maybe the roof needs a coat of sealer. Don't know if it is shingle or sealer type.

that was suppose to be hoping it fills in

Don't know why when I put it all on one line from notepad it doesn't come on here like that grrr

hedgie said...

Judie, I remember the geese and pond at Evans Run Farm Inn....out near Tyson's---did you ever eat there? It was nice....also now gone. :(

hedgie said...

Yes, Dana, Logan's is at The Commons.

wvgal_dana said...

I can not find where I put this PRAYER REQUEST...maybe I only gave it to my two church prayer people and not my SPECIAL PRAYER GROUP THE EAGLE BLOG:

Terry and Diane Rowland were in a car accident. For 2 weeks she has been in University of Md. Hospital. If Terry gave this to me right. She has punctured lung, broken ribs and fracture hip socket.

He was talking to me about buying her a chair with the brakes on it. I told him NO!! Talk to her drs. they will tell him what she will need when she comes home. More than likely I didn't tell him. I think when time comes they might move her to Hagerestown to a rehab or nursing facility. She can't put any pressure on that hip he said.

I thought he was going to cry because it was his fault. He said, Dana I tried to pull her to me. May God Be With Them Both and The Doctors and Nurses. I got this yesterday...DanaMo Diane goes to St. Mary's. She has a sister I can't think of her name that goes to St Marys too. Terry does not but he DOES believe in God.
