Finished w/pictures on blog. Now I'm finally caught up I hope.
Margy, sounds like a good weekend w/sister and nephew. Sorry about your leak. Love your asters. Mine aren't wild. I saw them at a plant stand from the car years ago and never knew there were purple mums! Had to get some. They almost croaked a few years ago, but were their best this year. I swear again that I'm going to try and find one of those watering hoses w/little holes like they had years ago. Need to put in the larger beds.
Sorry to hear Paula has a leak, too. Sounds like Nick will be a good fisherman! Some of my new pics are the egrets. Have you seen any by the water in Paradise?

THANK YOU MARGY. He could not have chemo because of his age and the condition of the surgery. 25 Radiation treatments is what he is on with a bag for voiding for the rest of his life. I do not know the correct word for it.

MARGY, It is not in the cards that I return to EGYPT even for a visit. If things change, and they can change at a flcik of a finger, being in the country could prove to be difficult for me. As a single woman I could be required to get permission from one of my male cousins to leave again. I would enter with a Canadian Passport yet because I am a dual citizen to the country of my birth the Canadian embassy would not be able to support me in terms of getting me out of the country. Too risky for me...I worked so hard on building my western life and I do not want to risk it. Samia understands. We will probably do the SKYPE thing for a few hours...

Have been busy today. It seems that I had a lot of viruses on my computer. I had thought I might since I was having problems getting some programs to work properly. They are now gone, thanks to Will and Spybot.
Will brought his insurance information over and I checked it to find that the deadline for him to sign up is tomorrow. He said that he'd gotten the packet a couple of weeks ago. The letter said he was supposed to have an orientation meeting, which hasn't happened yet.
All of this is because he got a promotion at work and is now full-time (yea!).
He was going to e-mail the stuff in and had lots of problems with my computer--he said that the viruses were causing the problem. So he downloaded Spybot for me.
So very sad about Hope. Hard to believe.

Margy, Susan had a problem with a leak in the bathroom at her apartment. The landlord paid attention when the ceiling collapsed, as I recall. Be careful in that bathroom.

We took Emma to the dog park again today. Her friends, Sophia the Whippet, and Mona the Shar Pei pup were there. She had a great time.

Yes, it really sounds like the locksmith guy was trying to pull something. The price he gave Kathryn was much higher that the price his own company told her, and he lowered it when she said that there was another key in Fredericksburg that she would have delivered if the price was going to be that high.
Did Kathryn lock herself out a while back? If not she, then one of us:) Glad you didn't have to make that trip.
GG was still in quite a bit of pain today. Don't know what to do. She has an appointment to get the microwaving in a week and I know they can't fit her in before then...she is a busy lady (doctor).

SHIRLEY, Tell Kathryn not to feel bad. I locked myself out of my car 4 times in one year in '94. Triple A said if I did it again they were going to have to charge me to come out. Now, I carry a huge, bright yellow plastic chain key chain. It works!

They did finish just as I was about to give up and a can't still figure where the other pic are but I have pictures and video of tonights sunset first the pictures and then three short videos the last video is after the sunset went down I did a 360 pan of the beach and buildings and the short building in between the hotels is the Park that is public it has a nice but hot snack bar with a nice deck they just build they also serve wine and beer
